Em nodded slowly and moved to sit in his lap more, just like when they first cuddled together so long ago.

Callum held onto her tight, kissing her cheek gently. "I love you."

 

[Dragongal]

"Love you too," Em said, hugging him tightly. She didn't particularly feel like talking, or doing anything much at all.

 

[Solar Daddy]

Callum was happy doing anything she wanted, and if it was sitting around all day, he would be right with her.

 

[Dragongal]

It took a while, but Emmalia finally was ready to get up and eat some of the food he had brought, even if it was cold by then.

Callum stayed by Emmalia's side and sat with her. "How are you holding up?" He asked as he ate a little bit from her plate.

 

[Dragongal]

Emmalia shrugged and said, "Well enough, you? You're feeling better than you were?" He hadn't had a lot of time to recover from the vampires' torture.

 

[Solar Daddy]

"I am, thank you for asking.' He said with a nod. "I'm feeling much better."

 

[Dragongal]

"Good," Em said. "I'd feel bad for breaking down like that if you hadn't been ok."

 

[Solar Daddy]

"Don't worry about me." Callum grinned. "I love you."

 

[Dragongal]

"Love you too. Which is why I worry for you," Em said softly.

 

[Solar Daddy]

"And it's why I worry for you too my love." He said with a gentle kiss.

 

[Dragongal]

"We need a break from worrying, so let's just hide here for a while," she said, exhausted already.

 

[Solar Daddy]

"I agree completely. Some time away from this chaotic life of ours will do us some good." Callum said.

 

[Dragongal]

"Very much so," Em sighed, leaning on him.

 

[Solar Daddy]

Callum nodded and held her close. "Do you just want to stay in all day or maybe browse the markets?" He asked. "Or we could look through the dresses Camilla made."

 

[Dragongal]

Em smiled softly and said, "Let's just stay in today, okay?"

 

[Solar Daddy]

"Alright," Callum smiled with a nod. "I love you."

 

[Dragongal]

"I love you too," Em said. She leaned in to kiss him softly, then pulled away to smile at him.

 

[Solar Daddy]

Callum smiled softly down at Emmalia. "You're the love of my life, Em. Don't ever leave me."

 

[Dragongal]

"I won't, my husband," she promised.

 

[Solar Daddy]

"Good." He smiled softly and kissed her head.

 

[Dragongal]

Em leaned against him and cuddled up to him, closing her eyes as they sat at the table.

 

[Solar Daddy]

Callum kept her close. He kept quiet and just focused on keeping her tight against him and kissing her every now and then.

 

[Dragongal]

Emmalia eventually dozed off in Callum's arms.
