[Solar Daddy]

Cameron wasn't expecting a monolog from Emmalia, and his shock only increased when she told him how she was a vampire. After a moment, he said, "You're what they're all talking about isn't it? You're the monster that's loose?"

 

[Dragongal]

"That's what they're calling me, yes," Em said with a sigh. "I don't have my glamor spell up, so you can see that I'm a vampire for the most part. A guard noticed and it got ugly."

 

[Solar Daddy]

Cameron looked Emmalia over, unable to believe it. "Does Callum know?" He asked quietly.

 

[Dragongal]

Em nodded. "He knew long ago." Hopefully that would reassure Cameron.

 

[Solar Daddy]

Cameron thought on his predicament for a moment. After a bit, he sighed heavily. "How can I help?" He asked.

 

[Dragongal]

"I don't know. Maybe if you take command, though, you can find out who did this and kill them. Or at leasy give Callum and I time to escape," Em said.

 

[Solar Daddy]

"I'll see what I can do. For now, try and sneak into the kitchen. There's a grate that can be removed that leads out of the castle. It's what we did when we wanted to explore." Cameron told her, before going off to try and distract as many of them as possible.

 

[Dragongal]

Em knew of the grate, as she and Callum had once used it to break into the castle. She went towards the kitchen, and cautiously walked down the halls, managing to avoid the gaurds before getting to her destination.

 

[Solar Daddy]

A rather long time later, Callum managed to find his way to the grate as well, sneaking out to the entrance behind a row of bushes. "Are you here Emmalia?" He called out quietly just before he exited.

 

[Dragongal]

Em had been hiding in a nearby tree, and descended when she saw him. "Right here, love." She was careful to check him over for injury as she approached him.

 

[Solar Daddy]

Callum quickly brought Em into an embrace when she was close enough. "Thank the gods. I love you. Is everything okay? Did you get out with much difficulty?"

 

[Dragongal]

"No, I didn't even run into the guards. Now, though, we have to find a place to hide, and quick," she said.

 

[Solar Daddy]

Ferron nodded. "Should we try hiding somewhere nearby or no? I'd be afraid they'd send guards out to look for us when they realized I escaped too."

 

[Dragongal]

Em shook her head. "We have to get out of Cross lands, that's our best bet."

 

[Solar Daddy]

Callum agreed. "Maybe we could go to your family? Or to the Camilla's shop. Those are the best places I could see. Maybe see if we can room with Ferron and Aludra for a while?"

 

[Dragongal]

Em thought about it, then said, "I remember now, Camilla's shop has hidden doors and tunnels. As long as it isn't in cross territory, we should be safe."

 

[Solar Daddy]

"It's a few towns away." Ferron said. "Between Balder's castle and the capital. We can head there, it isn't too terribly far away." He said.

 

[Dragongal]

Em nodded, then looked at her scars and relatively fresh wounds, then quietly said, "I can't even hide in plain sight anymore... My face is marked from the Order and the dark family...."

 

[Solar Daddy]

"It'll be okay." Callum told her, putting his hands on her shoulders. He kissed her head lightly. "Just wear you're hood up, I'll do the talking. Your appearance will come back eventually right?"

 

[Dragongal]

Emmalia nodded slowly. "When I'm back to animal blood. But the scars will always be there. They can just give a desciption of them. And then, this, this won't go away," she mubling, rolling up her sleeve and showing her bite mark, which before had had the veins immediately next to it faintly showing as black, now showed her veins up to her elbow like black spider-webs.

 

[Solar Daddy]

Callum rolled her sleeve down for her, saying, "Don't worry about that love. Let's just get moving and figure things out from there. Everything will turn out fine in the end."

 

[Dragongal]

Emmalia smiled, glad to see that he still did care for her despite the new scars. She nodded and followed his lead.

 

[Solar Daddy]

Callum walked alongside Emmalia, keeping close to her so she'd know he still cared for her as greatly as ever. When they managed to arrive at Camilla's shop, he found the door locked, and said, "Do you know how to pick this?"

 

[Dragongal]

Em said, "I can try, I was never especially good at it. Do you have any picks? I don't even have a sword."

 

[Solar Daddy]

"I don't carry any on me, I don't know how to pick." He chuckled. "I can try breaking in through a window in the back if you can't."
