Fantasy Generic Fantasy RP (CLOSED)

By the time Emmalia came to the door, Camilla was already waiting. "What am I getting ready for?" Camilla asked. "Did you get me a date with that one guard?" She asked rather forcefully.

Guard? Em cocked her head to the side in confusion, then her eyes widened and she drew her shortsword. Something was amiss and Camilla was trying to warn her.

Camilla frowned and stepped back. "You probably shouldn't do that here, the guards might confiscate it." Camilla said with wide eyes, trying to motion behind her. "Maybe we should just cancel our plans and go back to our rooms, you know?"

Emmalia frowned and dropped the sword, making a clattering sound so the guard coule hear that. "You know, Camilla, I would much prefer to keep you company. Let Callum rest, you know?" So the guard was behind her, huh?

Camilla made a fake - yawn and said, "Nah, I'm not feeling up to anything right now. Go spend some time with Callum, and keep him company." The way she said company made it seem like she was hinting at something. She backed up into the room a bit and tried closing the door on her suddenly.

Emmalia grabbed her sword off the ground, pushed open the door before it closed, and grabbed Camilla's wrist, pulling on her and throwing her out into the hallway in just an instant.

The second Emmalia entered the room, six halberds came down on either side of the door, all pointed at Emmalia. "Put your weapon down." One of them commanded.

Em dropped her sword, and kicked the door closed behind herself. "Well, boys, this is a nice welcome home party." A second later, she grabbed one of the halberds pointed at her and yanked it from the man's hands, swinging it to slash into two of the other men.

The one guard was hit by Emmalia's swing, but the other was able to block it with his own weapon. With her back turned to half of them, they charged in at her and tackled Emmalia to the ground. "You're going to rot in hell, Vampire." One of them told her bitterly.

"We'll do our duty as protectors of the peace." Another said as they lifted Emmalia up, her arms held together by two of the guards. The began marching her out, as Camilla was being detained as well by another set of guards.

Emmalia had had enough of being captured and pushed around lately, whether she was a monster or not, so she lifted her legs off the ground, being absolute dead weight for the guards to carry.

The guards, while having difficulty, didn't get angry or upset at Emmalia. They refused to even look at her as they carted her down to the dungeon. They threw her into one of the cells and locked the door. "The Lord will thank us when we've dealt with you." One said as he left, while two others stayed behind to guard the cell.

Not too long later, there was some commotion, then shouting as the two guards at her cell turned to the entrance of the dungeon. "My lord, you're delusional. She's a vampire! You've been deceived!" Just as he finished talking, Callum pinned the guard to the cell and stabbed a sword through him, the weapon reaching through the bars into Emmalia's room. He let the body drop and began attacking the next guard, and would've won if six more didn't tackle him to the ground, and threw away his weapon. "He's awestruck. Put him in his room and lock him there until he regains his senses."

Em had stood at the sound of people approaching, and grinned when she saw her husband. Everything after that spiraled out of control too quickly for comprehend. "Cal?! Let him go you bastards!"

Not too long later, the guards returned to their posts as if nothing had happened. "The trail begins tomorrow morning at sun up." One said to the other.

"You'll just try to get into his mind, like you did with Lord Callum." One of the guards told her. "You have no business with Lord Cameron."

"Shut up before we lock you in the solitary cells." The guard told her. "Next time you speak, I'll burn you on a cross."

"Burning doesn't work well," Em said. "Neither do crosses. Stakes careved with holy runes or blessed by a priest work best. I would know, I use them to kill vampires all the time."

The guard waved ahead, motioning for more to show up. The ten guards opened the gate and went in to grab Emmalia, planning on putting her in a smaller cell for punishment.
