Fantasy Generic Fantasy RP (CLOSED)

Emmalia approached, avoiding the guards, and quickly said, "Camilla, we need to talk in private, please. I only have until Callum wakes up."

Camilla frowned but understood, thinking it had to do with Emmalia's vampirism. She went with Emmalia to talk in private. "What is it?"

"Yeah, til it was all I had to drink. You don't know -" Em caught herself, then said more calmly, "I tried staying off of it, but I was forced to drink it while I was there."

"Keep me off human blood. I think I've been drinking it so much, and they messed with my head so bad, I think my humanity started slipping," Em said.

Camilla nodded and put a hand on her wrist. "I've got you. I'd think it would be best if you maybe stayed away from public for the time being. Stay in your room most of the days except when you have to leave."

"Yeah, that's part of it. My glamor charm," Em gestured to the necklace she always wore, "fails when I eat. But it hasn't worked in over a week."

"Oh." Camilla frowned a bit and inspected the necklace. "So, all you need is someone to help you watch your diet? I can do that."

"Yeah... And, uh... Halciet, he, uh...." Em sighed. "There's a bite that takes away pain and makes you relax. I used it on Cal earlier. But Halciet used it on me quite a few times. In such a short time span, it's very... Addicting."

Camilla looked at Emmalia with a raised eyebrow. "I haven't heard of anything like that before. How can I help with that? Slowly ease you off of it?"

"He knows I'm on human blood. I told him Halciet bit me, but I didn't say I was addicted." Defensively, she added, "I might not be addicted at all, anyway!"

Camilla nodded, although she didn't seem so sure. "Let's just see what happens. I'll keep a close eye on you. Update me on anything and everything."

"Not the ones that survived," Em sighed. She slowly leaned her head in against Camilla's shoulder. "There were a lot of times I must have blacked out and I don't remember. But I don't think any of the higher vampires survived. I found Callum, and I kind of just lost it."

Camilla nodded slowly and wrapped her arms around Emmalia. "You survived, and so did Callum, and that's all that matters. Would it hurt you at all to eat some real food?"
