Fantasy Generic Fantasy RP (CLOSED)

Em groaned and crawled out of bed. Her old wounds were aching, and she knew she would need something to help her through the day. She stepped over the ripped teal gown from the night before, and got dressed in a soft tunic and pants.

Callum had wished he could return to his soft, warm bed with Emmalia by his side. Unfortunately, he hadn't even been allowed to sleep for the past... He wasn't sure for how long. All he knew was that he hurt all over, and that he wanted to go to sleep.

Emmalia wandered around her room, and eventually came across a book that had bits of onyx embedded in the spine. Clearly it was of some important. She sat on the bed and started reading. It was a kind of log of abilities vampires had. She wondered how many of those applied to her. Among the items listed included other types of bites that she had never suspected. Including one that could numb pain, and even make the victim incredibly relaxed. Em found that one most interesting.

"You said you'd let me go!" Callum told the group around him. His arms and sides were covered in blood, while dozens of vampires moved bucket after bucket under his dripping arms. When one was filled up, they'd cart it off and replace it with another one.

Emmalia continued to study the text, and another one she found that was similar. This information, was incredibly useful.

A week later, she decided to wander the halls a bit, since she was allowed that now. When she passed one of the guards, though, she froze. She had smelled something horribly familiar....

She went to the Guard and calmly said, "Excuse me, would you please come to my room? I need assistance with something."

The guard looked down and Emmalia with a raised eyebrow. He consented and followed Emmalia back to her room. "What is it?" He asked when they arrived.

Emmalia shut the door behind him, then rushed him, knocking his sword away before pushing him to the ground and holding his throat in a crushing grip. "Why do I smell Callum's blood on you? Is he here? Tell me!"

The guard was so thrown off that he hadn't even been much trouble to knock over. When he heard the name, his eyes widened and he tried to pull Emmalia's hand away. "G-get off me you bitch!"

The guard groaned, hoping Emmalia would let him free. "He's here, we're using him for blood." He said, barely able to get the words out.

The guard was more than happy to be able to breathe again. "In a room just across from the cattle. Don't take him, he'll keep our clan alive for decades!"

"Don't worry," Em said as she let him go. She stood up off of his chest, then picked up his sword. "You won't live long enough to starve." In an instant, she beheaded him with the silver blade before running out of the room.

Callum, over the course of the past few days, had completely lost the ability to speak for an hour or two. He would just stare blankly as they bloodletted him over and over again, the pain numbing everything.

Em beheaded every guard she came across, and gutted every one that had something protecting their necks. Her attacks were quick, brutal, and efficient. After leaving a swath of black blood through the halls, Em found her way to the dungeons and ran down there, then found the branch where they kept their humans for food. Sure enough, right across from them was Callum, covered in his own blood. That threw Em into a conplete rage, and she killed every vampire near them in the most brutal manners she could. When that was done, she went to Callum and unchained him. "Can you stand?" This question was surprisingly straight forward, given that he was her husband, but she couldn't muster the emotion for more.

Callum had only noticed Emmalia was there when she adressed him directly. He slowly looked up at Emmalia, and said, with tears in his eyes, "Oh gods, I never thought I'd see you again..." He reached his hands out towards her but collapsed out of the chair.

Em helped him up and propped him up against the chair. "Try not to move too much." She brushed the hair out of his face tenderly, then looted the other guards for better weaponry. They still had to escape. Luckily, she had fed recently enough that his blood wasn't especially tempting to her.

"Emmalia." Halciet's voice boomed over the empty room. He stood in the doorway and stepped into the light. "What do you think you're doing? You're mine, remember?"

Emmalia hissed, even though a shock of trained fear went through her body. "No. The deal was, you would free him. Look at him! Look at what you have done! You did not free him, so there was no deal."

"Well, after you told me he was a reaper... I had to see for myself." Halciet made sure to bring this up so Callum knew it was her fault he was there. He then went on to say, "Emmalia, have I not treated you as a princess? Were you not given every basic desire you have?"

"You forced me onto human blood. Your men tortured me, before Midas even got me. You - " she didn't want to say more in front of Callum. "None of that matters. We had a deal, and you broke it."

Halciet, still feeling in control of the situation, continued. "What's not to say Lord Callum and I can't share you? After all, I'm sure he's against giving you human blood, something you so obviously desire. And, as for us both..." He trailed off, letting her fill in the blank.

Emmalia hated it, but it was a viable option. If she couldn't kill Halciet, then Callum would see her mursered and go mad, while being trapped in that dungeon for, potentially, eternity. Everything else she could ignore, the blood, the sex, because Callum was her husband, but for his own safety, this was risky. "While you keep him down here, too weak to even walk? No, Halciet, you can't keeo him like this. He's not a dog to be chained to a pole." Halciet would need to offer a better option.

"What if we only ask for a donation of blood? He doesn't even need to stay here - just send an envoy from his castle to mine monthly." He knew she had thought about the offer, and that alone was enough hope to let Halciet keep trying.

Emmalia hesitated, and looked down at Callum. That would be better than him being tortured forever. "How do I know you'll tell the truth this time? That you won't kidnap him when I leave, then kidnap me too. Again."
