"Love you too, Cal."

Soon enough, they were back on the trail looking for Cameron. Emmalia followed Callum's lead again.

Callum had been eager to exit the carriage and resume his search for his older brother. Once out, he said, "We know he came this way, but that's all we know. However, he was talking about some kind of guild. Maybe we can figure out what that means and go from there?"

"Then that's our next stop." Callum said and began to walk with Emmalia, until they got to the Elders building. Stepping inside, Callum bowed to show respect to him and opened with, "Sir, I'm looking for my lost brother, and I need your help to find him."

The elder looked at Callum and did not recognize him as a Lord; yet the Elder was a kind man and was willing to help. "Well, if you tell me more about him, I may be able to assist you."

Callum nodded graciously and began. "Cameron Cross, the son of the previous warlord of the region. He came through Eastfern we believe, and was talking about some guild before he disappeared. Do you happen to know any guilds within the city or nearby?"

The elder thought for a few moments. "Well, there are many guilds in this area. The one of most repute is a travelling fighters guild. Perhaps he joined them."

"Thank you." Callum stood tall and said, "If this helps at all, I'll be sure to reward you to the best of my ability." He left the building and went to the tavern with Emmalia. Once inside, he said, "Any one of these people could be the one. How can we find him?"

"It's a fighter's guild, right? Look for someone roughed up. If that isn't specific enough, look for someone who seems bored, since he must be here all the time," Em said.

Callum nodded and looked around for a moment. He tried distinguishing the features that would make a fighter stand out, but no one seemed notably different from anyone else. After a while of searching, Callum said, "Whatever, they're fighters, right?" Callum turned and grabbed a mug from a nearby table, and smashed it over a man's head. After a moment to recover, fists began swinging, and eventually after enough fighting, with others being pushed or hit, the entire bar erupted into a fight.

Emmalia rolled her eyes and called into the fight, "Callum you have as much tact as a dead cat." She elbowed her way over to the bar, climbed up onto it with ease, and put on her lion's gauntlet. In a seift movement, she slashed the metal across her short sword, which made a horrid, ear-splitting sound forcing everyone to stop. Once she had gotten everyone's attention, she loudly said, "Enough. We are looking for the representative of the fighter's guild, and that is all. We will be on our way after meeting this person."

Callum looked back at Emmalia and wiped his brow. The men around him gave him a glare but went back to their drinks. Callum eventually rejoined with Emmalia. "Hey, I had it handled."

"Yes but this way we have to pay less for broken furniture," Emmalia said. Sure enough, a man approached them and claimed to be the representative of the guild.

"But I haven't punched someone in..." When the man approached, Callum collected himself and stood tall. "Hello, I'm Callum Cross. We were hoping to find the fighters guild. I suppose we've found it?"

The man nodded. "I am Redmon, initiative recruiter. Are you looking to sign up?"

"No, unfortunately. We hoped we could try and find someone who went missing a long time ago. We're following a cold trail and any help could be appreciated. His name is Cameron, my brother. He talked about a guild before be disappeared. Did you take him in?"

"If you're talking about the one who's always drunk, yeah. Had a hell of a scar, curly hair-"

"Yes! He had a scar, across his cheek. I gave him that!" He turned to Emmalia in astonishment. "He joined you?"

"Yeah, he was one of our best fighters. Although we didn't call him Cameron. I believe it was... The Chameleon? The Church? Somethin' with a C, I dunno."

"Well he's definitely not with us anymore. Most people only last a few years in our guild, since we gold tournaments much more often than most others. Most men can't take the beating. He gave it his all though and stayed for quite a while before he left. He made a big show of it though, since he had won the tournament a few days prior to his leaving. Said his purpose of fighting was over since he won, and was off to try and reclaim what's left of his dignity. Last I heard, he went back to talk with the Warlord. Although Gallium seemed to make no mention of it."

"Maybe two winters ago. I'm a bit fuzzy on the details but I'm pretty sure he was dead set on getting there. The castle isn't far away, I can't imagine he couldn't handle his own on that short of a distance."

Emmalia frowned. Callum wasn't back at the castle back then... So would Gallium be the next logical person to know? Or some of the house staff maybe?

Callum wasn't sure what to think. Part of him believed the man was lying, but it seemed logical of Cameron. After a moment, Callum said, "Thank you. I'll be back if I don't find anything." He waved to Redmon and walked out with Emmalia, stepping into the carriage. "Maybe Gallium just didn't want us to know he had visited?"

Callum nodded and looked out the window. He wasn't sure what else to say, and didn't want to jump to ant conclusions, but his mind was racing and came up with countless scenarios. Although it wasn't very comfortable, they rode the carriage back to the Cross Castle and stepped out. After stretching, Callum said, "I suppose we can ask the maester. He was around during that time."
