Callum gave Emmalia a gentle kiss before nodding his head. "The last place we last heard from him was in a city just north of here."

Callum had went through the town with a low glance, pulling Emmalia along as he guided her to the tavern. "Gallium held a gala at his castle, and when my brother fled, this was where he went before dropping from existance. This was the furthest we ever got to figuring out what happened to him."

Callum nodded and entered the tavern. Inside it wasn't too full, with two barmaids serving drinks. Callum looked around for a moment before saying, "They're not the same ones from last time. I don't recognize anyone. Except..." He kept his eyes on one man in the corner. "Him. he must be a regular here."

Callum agreed and together they sat down at his table. The man looked up and grunted. "Oh please, have a seat." He said sarcastically. Callum ignored what he said and started. "I remember you. You stayed here a few years ago when my brother went missing. I recognize the scar." Callum traced his own face to replicate where the man's was, across his cheek. "Did you happen to see him? Cameron, Lord Gallium's son." The man seemed to think for a moment, but didn't look too interested in the topic. "I'm not sure. That was a long time ago." He turned his head to Emmalia. "A night with her might unfog my memory, though."

Emmalia smiled sweetly. "Sure, I can probably refresh your memory easy enough, I'm plenty experienced in torture. It tends to work, first I can cut half your ear off, then I can pull teeth for you. One night is plenty of time. I might even get to breaking your legs."

The man raised an eyebrow before chucking. "Oh that was a good one kid," He said, taking a moment to laugh some more. "Haven't heard that one before. I'm Gregor. And aye, I think I know the man you're talking about. Kind of short, with scruffy hair and fancy attire?" Callum nodded and motioned for him to continue. "Yeah I saw him. he went off in the direction of Eastfern. Fool looked so drunk he knocked over a lady on his way out. Was saying something about 'getting to the guild before they're gone,' whatever that means."

Callum nodded over at Emmalia and stood. "Thank you. I'll make sure to compensate you if this turns out to lead anywhere." Callum walked with Emmalia out of the tevern and looked east. "Do you know how far Eastfern is from here?" He asked, helping her into the carriage.

"At least two day's walk. In a carriage, a day or less," Em said. She sat down in the carriage and looked at him expectantly.

Ferron stepped into the carriage and held her hand with a sigh. "I don't know what to do when I find Cameron, but..." He looked into her eyes. "You renewed my hope. Thank you, Emmalia. So much."

"What if he's dead, though? What if something terrible happened to him? I'd rather not know than have the truth be something horrible."

"I don't blame you, love, you had to worry about your father knowing. But you're trying to make it right now, and thats a good thing," Em said.
