Fantasy Generic Fantasy RP (CLOSED)

They both knew she had been in dungeons before and it had never turned out well for her, so his choice was smart. Once there was enough blood, Em carefully bound the cut on his arm and did her best to keep her sanity. The scent of his blood had previously triggered her vampirism to take hold, with the intent of defending Callum to the death. She didn't want that to happen again.

Callum had hoped Emmalia wouldn't vamp out at the smell of his blood, and seemed rather stable, which was a good sign. Eventually, he brought back the bowl to Camilla, who drank it as if she had been starved for weeks.

Em kept her jaw clenched and didn't say anything, but watched Camilla carefully. Since it seemed safe, she said, "Your brother is a good man, offering his blood like this. He did the same for me when I was still injured after the Order took us."

Camilla was practically licking the bowl clean as Emmalia talked. "It's nothing, really." Callum replied, seeing as he hadn't passed out from bloodloss before. "After all, you two are the people I care about most."

Emmalia watched Camilla, and moved forward to stand slightly in front of Callum, protectively. "Camilla... are you sated?"

Camilla didn't answer as she eventually tossed the bowl aside, looking at Callum with a glint in her eyes. Slowly, she sat up a bit more, before suddenly leaping for Callum.

Emmalia had anticipated this, and tackled Camilla out of the air and onto the ground. There was very little struggle before Em ended up sitting on Camilla's torso and holding her hands. "Camilla! You've had enough!" Em barked. "Get a grip on yourself!" This was calculated aggression on a level Callum had not seen from her - controlling, physical, and collected, if loud.

Callum hadn't even recognized Camilla was going to attack until after Emmalia had tackled her. Camilla fought back against Emmalia but couldn't escape her grip, eventually resorting to trying to bite Emmalia.

Em sat back, daily out of Camilla's reach. She held both of Camilla's hands in one of hers, and with her free hand slapped Camilla across the face. "You act like an animal I'm going to treat you like an animal," she said.

Camilla didn't appreciate being slapped, and raged against Emmalia, until Callum eventually came over and helped Emmalia hold her down. "What the hell has gotten into you?" He asked.

"Cal, no offense, go away. You have am open wound, its bound but still bloody, you'll make it worse," Em said. Camilla kept squirming, but Em wasn't moving at all.

"Oh." Callum said, standing up. "Let me know if you need help, and try not to get hurt, please." He said, lagging a bit just in case.

"I will be fine, Callum, this is well within my realm. Wait in the hallway," Em said. She was really starting to get ticked at him treating her like she was glass, especially since this was her area of expertise, and she was in a rather aggressive mood.

Callum was still unsure, since Emmalia had told him how dangerous vampires could get. Still, he eventually left the room and leaned against the wall with a heavy sigj

Not five minutes later, Em walked out of the room to find Callum. "She's sane again, and sleeping now. Whenever a very hungry vampire finally eats, they pass out once their adrenaline calms down. She'll be fine when she wakes." She sighed heavily, then said, "Cal? I think we need to talk."

"Of course, what about?" Callum asked, hoping it had nothing to do with Camilla. He couldn't bring himself to think of what would happen if she had gone completely feral.

"About... Everything, I guess," Em said. She hadn't been so assertive in a while, and she wanted to take advantage of her mood. Her tone was not aggressive or mean, just assertive. She wanted him to hear what she had been thinking on for a while. "Look, give up the castle if you really want, but do not do it for my safety. Because if we leave this castle, we are returning to the road, doing jobs as before, like you said you wanted - and I am not going to be hiding behind you the whole time. I cannot continue living in a glass cage, Cal. I know you are scared I might get hurt and die, I understand, but I can't keep doing this. After the mage messed with my head, yes, I relied on you, yes, I was depressed, and then the thing with the Order.... What happened happened. But I am still a huntress. I can't hide behind you all the time, and I don't want to either. And I am still the inherited of the West, and I will not give that up."

Callum kept his eyes on Emmalia, unsure how to process what she was saying. After a moment of silence, he regained his posture and ran a hand through his hair. "Alright." He said simply, not realizing just how protective he had gotten over her. "I'm sorry Emmalia, I didn't mean to belittle you at all."

Em slowly smiled and moved in close to give him a warm hug. "I forgive you, Cal. It's been partly my fault, not saying anything sooner, and I wasn't feeling well after the mage thing or after the order attacked us. Thank you for respecting my wishes."

Em held the embrace for a little longer, then let him go. "Now that that's settled... What should we do about your sister? She should be okay when she wakes, but she will feel ill, probably."

Callum didn't want to talk about Camilla, since he wasn't sure what to do about her, especially since she could go feral again. "What's your opinion? Could she possibly hurt someone if she doesn't feed for a while again?"

Em shook her head. "No, she's never killed anyone for food, I don't think she'll ever go insane. But she is going to feel ill, on top of already being hurt."

Em shook her head and shrugged."I'm going to stay with her to try to keep her mind off it, maybe give her an herb to help the ache, but yeah, nothing we can really do."
