Fantasy Generic Fantasy RP (CLOSED)

The name of the Order sent a chill down her spine. Whilw being with Callum, she had stopped running from place to place and taking precautions, and this was her punishment for it. And now Callum was dragged into it too. Em recognized silver when it was pointed at her, so she just growled and glared at the men while she tried to think of a way out. Perhaps, though, if she acted more human, she would be okay, and could maybe manipulate the zealots. Then again, these were men who probably already were completely convinced she was undead and had no mercy. Still, it wouldnt hurt to try. "Why would you take my husband?"

The men growled a bit as she began to talk, not wanting to speak to such a vile thing. "We need to make sure you didn't turn our beloved warlord into a vampire as well." One of them spoke.
"Don't talk to it," Said another. "It'll try and charm us. Remember, she's a vampire." The man pressed his sword into her a bit, enough to draw blood with his silver blade.

Em winced, all too familiar with the pain of a silver blade recently. After all, her hands, wrist, collarbone, and cheek all still had burns from silver. Despite the obvious warning, she said, "If you've watched us, you'd know I can walk in the sun, I can eat food, and my body give off warmth just like anyone else's. So I would ask exactly how much you think you know about myself, and Callum for that matter."

"Doesn't matter. We'll perform the tests on you both just the same and see how it happens." The man with the sword said, pulling his sword off her skin. "Don't worry though, you and him will rest in the same mass grave once we have proof you're both vampires."

Em hissed, "It sounds like youve already comdemned us in your minds. But I swear, any harm that comes to Callum, I will inflict on you tenfold."

"I'd like to see you try." The man said, the whole carriage chuckling at Emmalia's idle threat. Soon, the men began to look out the windows. "We're close." The same man said, and before long, one of them pulled out a sack and threw it over Emmalia's head. They began to bind her hands, and one man dragged her along, into a mysterious location. It didn't take long for them to go through a set of doors, down a rather long staircase and into a dark room. They threw Emmalia onto the floor, and chained her arms to the walls. Eventually, they lit the torches in the room to show the blood and tools scattered around her.

Em looked around, then up at them. She was tempted to show that she wasn't scared by making some comment about how she had been through a similar situation for a year, but she figured that that would make them hurt her more which would lessen her chances of escape. She just glared at the men around her and stayed silent.

The three men in the room murmured to each other, one of them the obvious interrogator. They seemed to be asking requests for him, and soon, the other two went to the back of the room, while the interrogator stepped forward. "Hello, monster. Anything to confess before I start pulling off fingers?"

Deadpan, Em replied, "I confess that I find your tactics, from the kidnapping and on, to be quite cowardly. If you really wanted to hunt dark creatures, take it from a hundreds, there are definitely better ways and targets much more dangerous to the population."

"Nothing is more volatile than a monster pretending to be a human. There is no greater offense to humanity." He pulled out a thin, silver rod with a curved, sharp point. He approached Emmalia, and said, "I think I'll start with the ring finger. You won't need that ring anyway." The man smiled, stepping close and pressing her hand to the ground, with her fingers spread out. The held the blade just above it, and very lightly pressed it against her finger, without force. "How's the burn, love?"

The burn was, honestly, horrible, especially since she had rexently had human blood. Ave he was right that she was a monster masquerading as a hi human. However, as she watched the burn spread, the thought of losing her ring, her precious wedding ring, that hurt more. She said, "Aren't you supposed to ask me questions first then hurt me?"

"Nope." The man said, holding the blade against her longer. "Normally I would, but our two guests over there wanted to see you in pain for a bit before they went back to their posts." The interrogator grinned, before he pulled the sword away, and instead pulled off her ring, breaking her finger in the process. He held it up to the light and smiled. "Beautiful, this is. No doubt about it. Think I might just add this to the collection." He admired it for a moment, before tossing it into the vent on the floor in the corner.

Em gasped, less from the pain than her ring being taken. She struggled, trying to somehow reach the ring before it fell down the vent. She stared in despair at the vent, then slowly looked to the men in theback of the room. Frustrated and heartbroken, she yelled, "Why?! What did I do to you?!"

"It's not what you did to me, it's what you'd kind did to mine." The man growled back. He walked by a table with various tools and torture devices. He looked around the table, then smiled as he lifted up a very small knife. He turned to her, and stepped close again. "Hope you don't mind losing a few teeth." He got beside her, and smiled. "Now, tell us - Are you a vampire? Or should I just hold some steel against you and find out myself."

The man frowned, intrigued by her answer. "Well, no matter what, you're still a vampire, and we kill vampires." He pressed her against the wall, and asked, "What about Lord Callum? What's he?" The man held up the knife a bit.

Em, putting on her mask of indifference, said, "You wont believe me, but I will tell the truth, though it's not for fear of you. He is a reaper. Death asked him to work for him." She knew that no matter what she said, Callum couldn't die.

"Oh, so you think this is funny?" The man said, and ran the knife along her cheek, making her bleed. "Fine, we'll see how funny the iron Maiden is." He stood, and motioned for the other two men go release her chains. They brought her into the small, cramped space, and closed the set of doors, trapping her inside of the specially made torture device made entirely of steel.

Em struggled, tryinf to get any of her clothing between herself and the silver. For most vampires, touching the silver would just be a slow burn that got worse, for Em it was horrible and could singe off her skin in seconds. She managed to curl up just enough so that her skin didn't touch the walls, but barely. She shouted, "I told the truth!"

"That's not what Callum told us." The man said on the other side. "Although, I'm sure once you're done burning alive in there, you can join him as well to talk about it." The man smiled evilly, then noticed how much she was already burning. "You must be pretty special, eh? You're burning quicker than the other ones."

Em pulled up her clothes and tucked her hands closer to her chest, as they had started touching the metal. "I told you as much!" If they hadnt left her clothes and armor on her, she would be burning alive. As it was, just breathing risked more burns.

The man waited a few more minutes, watching the bits of her exposed skin burning slightly. After a moment, he opens the door and welcomed her out. However, she second she took a step forward, he grabbed her by the throat, and pressed the side of her face against the silver wall.

Em cluldnt help but scream in pain, especially since the burning spread so quickly and hurt her eye. She had no doubts that she wpuld at least have difficulty seeing from that eye, if not being partially or completely blinded in it.

The man held her there for only a few seconds, but when he pulled her away, was even more astounded by how bad the burns were. "Well, look at that. You really are sensitive to silver." He smiled wickidly, and threw her back to the ground in front of the chains. As he began to strap her back into them, a man's screams could be heard from somewhere distant. "Ah, and our other little birds sings as well." He smiled.
