I couldn't find a Female Protagonist Bingo sheet (which I suppose speaks volumes), so for now I guess we see how many boxes Keth ticks and whether we have bingo?

Is Keth white, Grim? Or a sort of yellowy-green?

Corellon's Light , she doesn't tick any of them. At all.

Well , she half-ticks 'Virgin (no other character traits)' , but she's got other character traits , so that rules that one out.

I'm going to tentatively tick "Manic Pixie Dream Girl" for Rihaly, except she actually has a functioning personality. So it's only a tick in pencil?

Keth on the other hand, I have a few 4-spot rows and columns. I'm nixing second row from the top since he's not white.

He's brown.

(Although after our adventures with the door and their stammering romance to date, I'm giving Istar another tick for Bites lip, blushes and falls over things).

I suppose the same could be said for Istar , couldn't it? She's very very excitable and loving. At least I think she is. Though really , Manic Pixie Dream Girls are , at their core , designed to 'draw life' from their Love partner , which.. I don't really feel like Istar or Rihaly need from each other.

But yes , he really isn't 'white'. He's kind of where the Fett Clones (and the Fetts themselves) are , at least in my opinion.

I checked a few of them, with at least two highlighted that I suspect but haven't seen enough to say for sure.

And fair call, I hadn't looked that deeply into the trope. She can be a manic pixie, but she has her own goals in life!

I don't know , I'd say we can already check 'guns. Lots of guns' , because he has two 6-barreled pepper box pistols , in a high fantasy setting. And I definitely agree that 'Dark humor in the face of danger' is gonna be there , but I suppose we won't know until there actually is danger. Same with the two differing killing sprees. I'm also thinking 'phsycologial problems' , too , but we'll see.

And yes , that is true. Istar certainly has er own goals in life as well! And not just related to being a Paladin.

Meanwhile , Istar's kind of made a fool of herself as far as perception goes , even though Elves are supposed to be rather perceptive.
