Confusion happens. This is not the first time clarification has been needed in one of my games. ?

But we shall march, or stumble, trip, fall, flail, in a general forward motion.
 
And I shall have a post up tomorrow. I can't quite cram myself into Keth's head tonight.
 
I believe I’ll wait until at least Peri’s down on the platform with Istar before I write another post. Right now the only thing she’d do is just run up to Keth and start rambling about Airships , which she’s already done.
 
Istar’s really just so eager to meet Peri because so far nobody’s really been friendly to her yet , and she really wants a bestest best friend right now. Or at least someone who wants to be her friend , that she can try to work up to being bestest best friends with.

So it looks like we can use the dice roller on the site. But you cannot add any modifiers to the actual dice roll. Those would have to be added in after the roll. Which you can only get to the Dice Roller once you post and then go back and edit it.

So I am inclined to keep doing things the way we have until more functionality is restored/created for the Dice Roller on the site.
 
I think that would easily be the best idea , especially given how.. not fun it is to have to go back and edit something like that.

(Also , kind of petty , but I don’t like how the Dice Rollers display only traditionally marked D6’s , and how much space it takes up. My posts are already long enough without that!)
 
I'm inclined to use the dice roller as well. And I apologize for taking so long to respond. For some reason, neither the app nor my email notified me of the new posts.

Regardless , I’m very happy to see a reply from you Bramtic! It’s okay that it took a while , as I can always be patient. (And so can Istar!)

The image of the interior should provide enough info to make posting easy enough. The VIP Stateroom cabin and the Boatswain's Quarters are locked, the Captains Quarter's are where Keth and the Capitan went.
 
Hey Bramtic Bramtic , did Thaddeus ignore Istar or did he simply fail to notice her? Because while she didn’t physically touch him or anything she did interact with him directly and specifically address him very specifically. It’s perfectly fine if he did ignore and/or fail to notice her , but I’m just curious since the post doesn’t mention anything about her trying to interact with him.
 
Hey, HK, sorry about that, I should have addressed it. He definitely failed to notice her, rather than deliberately ignoring her. He was so overwhelmed by the ship and so focused on the Captain (and Keth, to a lesser extent) that it completely failed to register. It would also be quite obvious, looking at his face, that he was in a completely separate place. If she were to say his name again, now that he's taken everything in, he would certainly respond.
 
That’s okay! I understand! I’m glad to know he wasn’t deliberately ignoring her! I think Istar would/will notice that he isn’t with her , since she didn’t quite run off like she usually does. So she’ll probably call back to him or walk back to him and get his attention.

Both Thaddeus and Istar notice slightly elongated incisors in the Captain's smile, while you wouldn't call them true fangs, that word does come to mind; also you notice his eyes are an amber color unlike what you've seen in other humans. The last thing you notice his movements are extremely fluid, boarding on unnatural. Like that of a master dancer, a predatory cat, or an elven Bladesinger.
 
I must answer your question with a question: Does she have ranks in Knowledge: Nature?

If the answer is no, then she would not know either of those answers.

If the answer is yes, then it will depend on the dice to decide.
 
That’s a skill? If I would’ve known that was when I created her I would have set 2 or 3 points aside for that , but since I didn’t.. I guess she doesn’t? So she wouldn’t know? Oh well.
 
No, she would not know enough to be able to identify any of those things you are asking about.

She may have heard stories, myths, and legends about those things, but she does not know enough to make the leap.
 
Welp. Sorry for the absence again. I'm going to be slow, so if I don't reply quickly, feel free to just assume Peri's coming along at some point and you don't have to wait on me. (Also if I don't reply to something your character says.... Peri is just like that.)
 
Don’t worry , I understand! Life happens. And I figured Peri was like that , since she seems rather a rather sarcastic type to begin with.

I’ll reply in a moment with Istar remembering she isn’t with Thaddeus. I’ve got some things to take care of first in real life.
