So she was to return to Earth huh? fine by her, she didn't like being ordered around by all the high ranks here. But then she remembered something and asked.


"What about my team sir, will they be joining...?" she didn't finished the sentence as she saw the princess guard unsheath his sword, her training kicking in she took a step in front with her katana blade at his throat and the shortsword above his.


"You don't learn don't you? also who was the wise guy who let him enter the general's office armed???"she said in a sadistic voice, just waiting for him to make a wrong move.


(( here's a fun fact...captain outranks commander according to this , you can check the other sections but you'll only find commander in the navy.

Ace was not in the mood to talk. He firmly placed his hands on the girls blade and gripped it hard, lowering it. His hands made a smoky black substance come out from them which made the sword smell burnt. It started melting slowly. He had picked up a thing or two in magic class. "Do not attack until you are attacked." He looked up at her, his face pale with hatred.

One of the nay seals pointed a handgun at Ace's back. "Lower you weapon."

"I never said I'd hurt you. I simply took out my sword." Ace looked at the gun with a plain look. "Those things don't scare me." He let go of the sword which was melting away. "Black Magic.. it's beautiful isn't it?" Ace looked oddly at the gun and walked closer to the navy seal. "I want this one to take me to my comrades, no one else. Not even the princess will escort me."

"You don't order me around. I take my orders from the generals." The navy seal said. He put the gun back in it's holster. "You have no power here."


The navy seal began to walk away.


Volski and three special forces pointed their assault rifles at Ace.


"Get out. All of you." Volski ordered. "To the Washington gate."


"You don't give orders here. I do." General Moores said to Ace. "And you will be under surveillance. Now get out."

"Let go or you'll lose the arm. You will need a more powerful magic than that to melt my precious blades. In the worst case you are merely heating it a little with that fire trick of yours. I won't bother you with the details, but these blades are made from the most durable and hardest element known to man, using the latest metal forging technology. They also are the vessels of my dear AI comrade in arms, Aila. So you better listen to the general if you want to use that arm again. Now drop the sword and I'll escort you to Earth, to see you friends."


Aila upon hearing her name decided by herself that now was about the time she should make her appearance. She activated the holographic display on the general's desk and materialized so that everybody can see her, saying in a manner that was supposed to imitate Kayla's way of saluting:


"Metarch level AI codename: Aila, reporting for duty!"

Ace tried his best to hide the grin that crept up on his lips. Ignoring the girl, he kept his sword and put it on his back. It's so close. I can still get it.. I can still achieve my goal. He followed the men, his eyes craving for his moment.

There were soldiers standing guard as the group would take him and the princess out and began to walk towards the gates that were heavily defended.


The platoon still had their guns pointed at Ace as they were walking

Ace chuckled. "Nice town."

She took a look a him...he seemed to calmed down and after he left the room she turned towards the general and said:


"Sir I must strongly suggest that we handcuff him, after that outburst ... I am willing to let him keep the sword only under that condition. He acts like he's some kind of high level guest here, when in fact hes more of a war criminal."

Ace looked at the girl at the corner of his eye. He looked downwards, stuffing his hands into his pockets. Soon all this suffering will be over and we can live in peace, all of us. He raised his head again, exiting his thoughts. "May I ask what you are waiting for? Did you not say you could eliminate us all? So what are you really waiting for..?"

"Handcuff him." Moores said. Volski and the lieutenant Colonel took Ace's hands and put hand-cuffs on. Volski then took the key and handed it to Kayla.


"You're better at protecting this than I am."


He then turned to Ace. "Go through the gate."


"I can't go with you since I have my duties here." Moores said.


The group began to escort the princess, officer and Ace through the gate. It was a white light as they crossed through and in moments, the group was standing in another military base.


The Princess and the officer looked up stunned. Massive buildings that were hundreds of stories tall were standing over them.


"What is this place?" The princes asked.


"Washington DC." Volski replied.


There were cars waiting for them as the group made their way to the convoy. Ace wasn't even dazed by the handcuffs. He entered the convoy with saying a word.

Kayla took the keys from the commander and gave him a salute.


"Thank you, sir" then she faced General Moores.


"It was a pleasure to serve under your command sir and I would wish you luck, but instead I shall say this: Make them pay for what they did" Also please don't hesitate to use the remaining members of my team as you please. Aila already informed them of what they have to do for now, they would accept orders directly from you as I did." then she made a salute and left after the group.


As they reached the hangar Kayla would see Lance Corporal Eleonora "Ellen" Schneider, her teams weapons specialist and Staff Sergeant Alexandru "Alex" Romanov, the teams muscles/pilot. They were ready for departure and standing by. She beckoned them behind the convoi saying:


"Okay, we along with Commander Volski and the 4th platoon have been tasked to escort these "guests" here to the UN headquarters. But be extra careful about the one with the sword, he is a bit uncontrollable. He seems calm now, but he snapped earlier in the general's office. I don't think the princess and the other one will pose a problem. Got it?"


"Jawohl (Yes Ma'am!)" said Ellen in a sharp tone.


"Leave him to me Ma'am, I'll knock some sense into him if he goes berserk." responded Alex


"Good, now prepare for departure" ordered Kayla.


As they crossed the event horizon of the Washington Gate, they found themselves inside a military base. Then the 2 team members took each one a flanking position while Kayla remained in the back. they made their way towards the cars that we're waiting for them outside.

"How do you construct such buildings." The princess asked.


As the convoy began to move, Ace, the princess and the officer would have seen that there were many cars and order through out the city.


Volski was reading a newspaper as the title on the first page caught the official officer's attention.


"Look." The officer said to Ace. The title read 200, 000 kill led fighting the UN coalition forces in the other world.


The second title read "Is nuking the kingdom the answer?"

"We are going to the Washington DC prison. To let our guset see his friends." Volski said.


"It is only a visit. If you try to free them, the captain right here will have all permission by the general to kill you and your friends." Volski said

Ace looked at the princess. "Princess, there is something of great importance I need to tell you."

"What?" The princess asked. She was still looking outside at the tall buildings and cars.

"I will not be going to Earth with you. There are some things I still need to deal with."

"This is oir chance to free the prisoners. And your friends. Are you going to throw that chance away?" The princess asked.


"You will be killex if you go back through the gate. I don't want to anger these people."


"Get in." The navy seal said forcing Ace to get in the car

"Get dressed pilot. You are about to escort the stealth bomber to deliver it's payload." The general said.


"The bomber is going to use M2 mines. They cause more damage than nukes but gives off less radiation. We are to bomb two cities."

Ace got in. "I have to. I can't tell you what it is but I have to do it."

The convoy began to leave.


"Do what?" The princess asked. She gave ace a piece of paper and a feather to write.

Ace's hands shook. He took the pen. If I told you, you would never look at me the same way. I have to kill someone. For the future of both worlds and Squadron X. That is all.

The princess wrote back. "No more killing. Our world has suffered enough losses."


"Hey. The UN really os going to bomb the kingdom again."


"What?"


"M2 mines."


"Really? Where? The capital?"

Ace crumpled the paper in his hands. "If I don't princess, we're going to die."
