Futuristic Gastrea Virus (zombie RP)

Ry Blackheart

Ry laid back, his sniper rifle leaning against the rails. As he takes out an old piece of chalk that he kept with him since his first few days as a sniper, and writes another line on the floor, representing another kill. "Another kill...another step" Ry muttered to himself. It sure does get boring around here, as there is nothing really here besides two kinds of corpses. One that moves and one that lies motionless on the ground. Ry picks up Melody Blue and looks at it, checking for anything, anything wrong with it, anything to kill time.

The sounds of gurgling blood keep Ry awake, as he looks over the railing and notices another pathetic zombie. It's banging on the wall as a futile attempt to get it's daily dose of flesh. Ry leans over and aims his sniper rifle at the sad, sad creature. He tightens his scope and looks through, getting a closer look at it. "Sleep tightly....you don't have to cry." he sings to himself, before he fastens his finger around the trigger and pulls it.

One more down.

Lucy simply groaned. "Don't do that again..." She mumbled at him, quite dizzy from it all. "I don't suppose you have any supplies? I'm just a tad hungry, not to mention quite thirsty." She giggled slightly. "Cool little base you have here, did you build it? where is that partner of yours..? And how on earth did you find me" she asked, her mind buzzing with different questions to ask
"sorry, it was the fastest way and the most efficient since you are already exhausted and were likely to faint on the way here." Soma apologized, throwing some logic in there too. He calmly and patiently listened to the woman's rapid fire questions as he checked his suit's internal interface to make sure no infected had followed him. "here." He said, handing the woman a thing of canned food and a water bottle. Then he started to address her other questions. "As for your other questions. no i didn't build this place, Celia is probably in the garage working on something, and i found you because my suit can pick up bio signatures nearby."

With a zombie being thrown his way, Go quickly ducked down to grab his blade that lied on the ground, having been pushed out due to the undead's impact with the wall. It hung there in a grotesque display, oozes of red dripping out of the punctures in it's body, though it wasn't anything Go wasn't used to. Or Chess. Xi, on the other hand, innocent averted his gaze outside as the bloodslaughter was happening inside, the cheered laughter of both Raymond and Go ringing out. Picking up his blade on the ground, with his body low and the creature armless, it made an attempt to duck it's body low to grab Go with it's gaping mouth. Unfortunately for it, Go sprung up, now armed, and the blade speared itself itno the creature's neck, extracting broken, bubbly moans from it.

"Ahaha! Got it!"

Chess merely watched the scene unfold, before their expression would raise higher to one of surprise as Raymond came over, an estatic look of an overjoyed child sparkling in their eyes.

"Chess, join us for a round! Not sure if you've got a close quarters weapon, but you can use the blade in its chest if you like!"

His enthusiam was very child-like and held a little too much joy in such an environment. Though with Go running up nearby Raymond, using the corpse of the armless undead pinned to his sword as a weight to toss at the last undead, causing it to tumble back. Making a running leap, Go was unseen by the cover of the wall as he impaled both through the head, an overjoyed "Woohoo!" following after. What a loud dog. At least to appease some of Ray's joy, Chess looked over at Xi, who was keeping his gaze as averted as he could from the scene. With their elbow, they nudged him in the stomach, only resulting in a muffled
no. Tearing the shovel away from him, as he was using it to weakly cover himself, Chess held near the center of the shovel due to Ray's close distance, as if the shovel was a baseball bat. Swinging the shovel like a bat, it slammed hard into the side of it's head, causing it to fly off, like a ball.

"... you're like some little kid who just found a friend to play with."

Spinning the shovel back around so the metal end was closer to them, Chess tapped the wooden end of the handle against their head, as if petting? But at the same time with a handle, was it even petting? Nonetheless, they pushed their way into the building, which wasn't well lit, but at least they could tell where Go was with his enthusiastic chuckles.

"Haha, that was fun! Whadda we do now? Chess can we spar again, it's been aggeess!"

"No."

"Awww why?!"
"Eugh, I'm gonna be sick. Did anyone get hurt?"

Looking around for anything that could be a light, it made sense that Chess didn't see anything. Electricity must have been cut off due to the virus, there was no way there'd be any electricity unless you somehow found a way to generate power, which was generally impossible in the city with little resources that they could use for something like that. Unless they found a generator of the sorts, though this wasn't the place to find them. Perhaps they could venture out to some depot store, where generators would be common, there definitely had to be one in the city somewhere.

"Woohoo!"

"Well, we're here. Probably."

Jeson saw Chess a little ways ahead by a familiar place, where a good friend would have taken residence in. Too bad he went missing ages before the apocalypse, but that wasn't an important story. The point is, here you could most likely find things you needed mechanically, such as screws, bolts, wrenches, as long as they weren't all completely looted. Which, well, most of it most likely was. People would find anything they can scavenge and take it, it's not like it was any different. Looking over to both Cross and Viper, he dramatically presented his arms in a way that would show off the place, but luckily he was far enough that Chess and Xi wouldn't see him. The other two were probably having fun murdering whatever was left in the building.

"Try to keep your sniper-scope story consistent. I don't care all that much, but Chess probably does. And that's not something we wanna deal with~"

@FireMaiden @Baku

"Consistency is my specialty, " Gale said, just a bit of sarcasm in her voice. "It's not that hard to keep it the same." She looked at Jeson for a quick second, before looking over at Cross. She really never trusted soldiers like him, but, since he didn't try to kill them, she guessed he was alright. "I never did understand why those people gave them such weird code names," She muttered to herself.

@Entarriance @Baku

Toku stayed at her spot, the zombies getting louder. She rested on her back, her forearm on her head. She whistled a soft tune to herself.

"Maybe someone will hear..." She said quietly before resuming her whistling.

Cross looked around the place. Surely there was something here to help Viper. He motioned for viper to come over so she can tell him what type of tool she needed.

@FireMaiden

Graham heard a whistling near him and saw someone on a rooftop. The building she was on was surrounded by zombies. Graham grinned and nocked an arrow.

He shot an infected in the back. The infected turned around. Graham shot another arrow in the infected's right arm. The infected ran to Graham and Graham equipped his sword. He stabbed the infected in the head.

Toku sighed and sat back up. Eventually, she stood up and started to pace across the rooftop. She noticed a loss of growling and saw a man killing them. Her face turned to into a wide smile. She ran to the edge of the rooftop and jumped off, doing a roll to protect her from damage. She turned around and sliced a zombie's arms off before kicking it in the head. She did this a couple more times before she started cutting off the legs, wanting variety.

Graham slashed at an infected's torso, but the infected dodged. Graham punched the infected in the face and slashed at its leg. "Thou shalt suffer tremendously," he said, stabbing the infected's spine.

Raymond watched Chess and Go finish off the undead, he howled with laughter and walked over to the undead nearest Chess; tearing his blades away from the corpse and watched as the thick murky liquid stuck to the edge of his blades. A pool of blood at his feet, he stepped out and wiped his shoes aginst the cleaner flooring. "Cutting these things down is disgusting.. with all the blood. And the guts. And the groans of pain and suffering. And killing them, again." A smirk growing on his lips as he spoke aloud, to Xi specifically. He finally wiped the blades on the corpse in front of him, not satisfied with the cleanliness and holding them out instead of hiding them away in their learher scabbards.

He then took a look at Chess, grinning at her comment about his child-like attitude. "It's good to have fun in a time like this. At least I don't take it out on people, (most of the time) and take to the life of a raider." Raymond's tongue stuck out from between his lips, teasing and purposely reinforcing her opinion of him having a childish attitude.

A relived sigh escaped his lips, eying the brown specks of dried blood that stuck to his swords. Without directly looking at him, he called out to the redhead. "I don't mind sparring with you Go. However I don't recommend it with sharpened blades, I may forget its just a spar." The last phrase ended with a close-mouthed smirk, his best attempt at hiding his appeal towards the thought. He had no intention of hurting them, but it was good to tease them with. They were after all, fairly new with each other's presence, and keeping up a good charade as a sadist was humoring.

When they begun to further venture into the abandoned workshop, Raymond would stick to the back and act as rear guard. Not like he expected much to slip past the observant eyes of Chess, but the undead acted slowly and may have just needed a few seconds to rise from their slumber. The steel-like metal of his blades were now held in their usual fashion, left along his forearm, and right extended outward, so he would be constantly prepared to get into an engagement. "So this place is familiar to the four of you, yes?" His voice hardly a whisper, and sure to attract any if there was something lurking a room or two across, but it seemed like he didn't mind.

Took rolled to the right as a zombie quickly swiped at her. She sliced off its hand and kicked it in it's head. She then then sliced the head off before moving on to the next one, getting in to a solid rhythm.

Alice landed on the base wall and grinded on the metal bars that were strewn above it. She seemed to be a pro at it from how she jumped and grinded. She landed on her feet on the ground after jumping from a bar and looked at the two. "Who are you?" she asked a bit defensively as she reached for her chainsaw gun.

"Do not worry Alice..... they are friendly..." Celia said as she walked out from the garage and was wiping her hands with a rag. "At least I know the guy is..... dont kniow bout her yet...." she said as she tossed the rag to the side. "anyway..... how did you guys like her little show?"

@Trust @Shiro kurogane

Soma glanced up moments before Celia's sister had actually come into view on the metal bars. He waited for the inevitable question of friendly or foe that everyone asked now. He nearly chuckled at how predictable the question was when the new arrival did ask the question. Luckily, Celia answered her sister for him. "hm... her way of grinding seems easier than my way of doing it when i need to." Soma answered truthfully. He used the sheath of his sword as a improvised skate board when he needed to slide across pipes or something to get somewhere.

Alice laughed. "I use my shoes. They are a special kind only my sister knows how to make, due to her mechanical engineering." She said with a smile as she took her bag off. "Here is the stuff you needed sis. Are you sure we will be able to get there though? The place is crawling with the Mutate...." She asked a bit wearily.

Celia sighed. "I promised you we would okay.... and we are going to get there one way or another." She said as she took the bag. "Thanks. I can completely fix it now! We can easily move our stuff thanks to this stuff!"

((Cross is at the entrancee whoop))

Chess, after shoving a nauseous looking Xi a shovel, didn't answer Raymond's question right away. The place was dim in lighting, and there could always be some other undead here, so their guard had to be up. Then again, it never was really down to begin with.

"I-I'll take out the bodies so their scent doesn't attract any more."

"Woah, you'll spar?! Fuck yeah!"

"Tch."

Putting Raymond's words to the back of his mind, used the shovel as a sort of stick to pry the flesh glued to the ground by Raymond and the blood that stuck the zombie like a ragdoll against the wall by Go. Balancing one body on the end of the shovel, he went to the door to dispose of it outside, before realizing that a shadow seemed to fall into the building that wasn't one that he recognized. Looking up, he saw the face of Cross that he had met earlier, though it didn't seem like he was the first.

Chess took immediate offense to his arrival. Quickly looking around them, there was plenty of things that they could have worked with, but was there anything to quickly get him out without the risk of getting slashed right away? Picking up a deflated bike wheel that leaned against the counter, a few of it's spokes bent or cut, Chess swung it like a frisbee. But it wasn't directly at Cross, it was the space that stood in between them. Out of surprise, Xi immediately let go of the shovel to quickly step out of the way, and the wheel zoomed by both Cross and Xi. Slamming into the wall of tools, the rubber wheel would have bounced off, and
then it would have hit Cross as a response. The tools that were on the wall were either leaning against it, or hanging on a hanger. There weren't a whole lot on the hanger unfortunately, and it resulted in a majority of it falling to the ground uselessly. However, the ones leaning would have fallen in the direction of Cross, meaning that he'd either have to step forward or step back.

Through the chaos of it, the moment the tire left Chess hand, they darted towards the door, tearing the sniper off from their back. Using one of thir feet to pivot around and spin, kicking the door at the entrance shut. It either left Cross locked in the building, or locked out.

If Cross chose to step in to dodge, Chess would have raised their sniper up straight at Cross, on the verge of firing at point-blank.

Jeson got to watch the door slam shut, and he awkwardly looked towards Viper.

"Uh, as you can see, Chess isn't very, kind towards strangers. You can try to head in if you want.."

"Ehh.. I thought we settled this dispute already.." Raymond groaned out, complaining but tightening his grip on his twin swords nonetheless. He didn't expect to fight, but he would if Cross decided to retaliate fiercely. Leaning against a clean wall of the shelter, he let out a deep breath and watched the action occur in front of him. It was loud, with the tools hitting the floor and clanging against each other.

Pursing his lips, he rested a hand on Go's shoulder to get his attention. "I'm gonna go walk the perimeter of the building and secure any exposed entrances. The noise their making can only attract more." He then began to walk towards the exit Cross and Xi were near before turning back to face Go. "And it's best you don't follow, she'll worry. But if someone asks, I'll be right back" Even though she may not have heard, he was implying Chess. Then slipping between the Cross, Xi, and Chess' little action, he turned his head to the corner, and disappeared from the sight of their little group.

@Baku @Entarriance @FireMaiden

Cross watched everything happen almost as it was in slow motion. He was locked in. "Oh my god is this going to be a thing? I am really beginning to think I should have treated you like a bandit. A guy tries to fucking help someone else in the group and you throw a wheel at me. Mind you that was rather creative but still! I must've been cruel to puppies in a past life for all of this to happen. Karma thy name is Chess."

"I suppose that makes sense" she said in between bites, most likely she was gonna vomit after eating but she didn't care. She tore into the canned meat like it was the biggest feast in the world, her happiness evident on her dirt-streaked face as she gulped down huge slugs of water at a time. "Thanks for saving me but... Why did you save me? As far as you two know i could be some sort of raider, or a bandit or something" she asked before running a short distance and throwing up some of the food she had eaten, her stomach not being able to handle it

"well, i could lie ti you. or i could say something to change the subject like, 'i couldn't resist your looks' ir how ever one would normally flirt. but in all honesty, why shouldn't i have saved you? your human just like i, ceila and her sister are." Soma answer with a shrug. He looked at Celia and Alice as he heard them talk. "and if you were a raider or bandit, someone would have followed us here. and my suit radar detects nothing near us... aside from the few straggling infected outside."

"You make some level of sense... I suppose i should introduce myself, the name is Lucy Lucatiel but you may call me Lulu, I am a doctor, but I don't really have any supplies at the moment apart from my surgical stuff..." She told him, wiping some vomit from her mouth but feeling tremendously better. "Is there anywhere i could rest? I've been walking for ages... I think about two weeks. My food ran out around four days ago and my water ran out yesterday." She explained, wondering if this could help him somehow. "All i have now is this box and this gun." She said, holding up the two she had barely managed to gold onto when he had taken her running

"well there are rooms in the building beside the garage.. but most of them are ruined. but i can lead you to one of the few rooms still suitable from living." Soma was no medic and held nearly zero medical knowledge. "you can keep your weapons. cause i can't promise that you won't need them."

Celia came strolling out on the motorcycle that was now fixed. "Hey.... I'ma be right back...." She said as she put a helmet on. "I have a project to big to be here..." She said as she rolled out of the base on the bike.
