Raymond soon exit the building the group was in, passing by both Viper and Jeson but moving a bit too quick for a hello. Both blade still in his hands, he jogged away towards one of the larger streets in hopes of securing most of the perimeter around the building. "So far, so good." He muttered to himself, slowing himself down to a brisk walk, and then down to a casual pace. If anything, the most obvious thing they would have to worry about is the storm approaching from their west. Not like many of the group used many electronics, and he wasn't sure if Cross' armor would be able to withstand an electric shock.


He would then turn the next corner, first covering the south and now checking the east. Seeing as how the southern streets had been clear, his actions were careless as he turned to face the eastern border. Lightly jogging again, he'd duck his head into alleys to give them a quick look before speeding ahead. Being alone like this again and without the distraction of allies, he managed to catch a glimpse of the streets that the survivors were used to now. Barren streets, abandoned cars littered here and there with some even crashed against surrounding buildings, even a few corpses that were slain by passing survivors or far to deteriorated to become a host of the parasitic Gastrea virus. Ray would run for a city block or two before turning towards the northern street he would establish as a border.


What came next surprised him, especially since he was turned away. As soon as he turned the corner, a corpse lurched at him from around the wall, the surprise nearly causing him to yelp. The corpse's mouth was already wide open, only stopped by the silver blade suddenly shoved between its gaping maw. "Damn bastards.. getting sneaky now are we?" Then bringing his right blade in from the side, the metal managed to lodge itself within the temple of the target. Quickly drawing himself back with a few paces, he gazed out towards the street to see many more wandering the bare area. "Aw hell no.." his breathing was heavy with the surprise, and his words had come out as a light mutter. There was many already on the street, and more coming from the north. Ray managed a glimpse of one that was rather unique, the asphalt at its feet smoking with each step.


A moment of shock and realization later, he ran back the way he came to avoid the attention of the horde. He had only been gone about fifteen minutes, making it back to the area with Chess, Go, Xi, Cross, and Viper. His breath was heaving, since he had just sprinted the entire way. Even with his impressive physical capabilities, the panic that ran through his mind which was completely unlike him, leaned against the frame of the door leading to the group's room.


"None of you are going to believe our luck today.."

Lucy yawned. "Lead the way, but don't carry me this time" she giggled. "I think I'll check your medicinal herbs later, right now I'm tired, then i will go introduce myself to your friends." She planned as she headed towards a building beside what appeared to be the garage. She gave the woman with the motorcycle a small wave but wasn't sure if she noticed. @The Unamed Beast

"okay." Soma waved at Celia as she rode out on her motorcycle. The he turned back to Lulu. "i promise not to carry you... unless you faint... or i feel like holding you." Soma added the last part just to try his hand at a flirt since he didn't get a chance to do it back when things were still normal. he walked a bit a head of Lulu as he lead her to the room he'd used for waiting while his suit did maintenance. "you can use this room since i cleaned. plus with you weak state. sleeping in a dust filled room is not recommended."

"I'm sure you say that to all the girls you carry" she laughed, her face going a faint pink. "Thanks for everything" she said before lying down on the bed and falling asleep almost intantly, hoping she wasn't making a huge mistake and was about to wake up as some slave for some random wanderer. She shuffled about in her sleep, having dreams about her old group

Soma gave a soft nearly inaudible chuckle to Lulu's response to his flirt. And chuckles were a rare thing coming from him. He watched Lulu lay down and instantly fall asleep. Since Soma figured no one else was around, he exited his suit as pulled out a somewhat old but clean sleeping bag. He fell asleep on the floor since one he was tired and two, his suit only worked for Soma. So he didn't need to worry about the suit being stolen.

Soma opened his eyes sleepily at the beeping sound his suit was making. The self-maintenance was done. He got up carefully so as to not wake Lulu who was still sleeping. Kneeling down, Soma tried to keep the sounds of him working on his suit's back-up checking at a minimum. Though the noise was still decently audible.

Cross watched everything happen almost as it was in slow motion. He was locked in. "Oh my god is this going to be a thing? I am really beginning to think I should have treated you like a bandit. A guy tries to fucking help someone else in the group and you throw a wheel at me. Mind you that was rather creative but still! I must've been cruel to puppies in a past life for all of this to happen. Karma thy name is Chess."

Lucy lept up at the sound of the foreign beeping, she instinctively reached for her gun and looked around the room immediately before noticing the now suitless man not standing too far away from her. "You look nice don't you" she said, not really thinking as it slipped out of her mouth. "I-I mean, the weather, the weather looks nice" she laughed, her face a rosy pink as she shuffled put of the bed, checking she still had all her things and had been left untouched

He looked back at his suit and typed in a few more things before standing up, seemingly done. "your stuff is still where you left it." He told her having seen that she was checking for her stuff.

Soma watched Lulu walk off before reequipping his suit. After making some sight re calibrations and last second checks. He finally walked outside and glanced around and at his suit radar. Seeing no much around Soma decided to see what Lulu was doing and peeked into the garage at Lulu for a moment. Then He thought to go see what Alice was up to.

Graham opens up his laptop, yet nothing happens. He notices a storm to the west of him. "Darn," he mutters. "Gotta search for a place to get some drinks alone."

Took rolled to the right as a zombie quickly swiped at her. She sliced off its hand and kicked it in it's head. She then then sliced the head off before moving on to the next one, getting in to a solid rhythm.

Graham shot a zombul once in its hip and another in its shoulder. Then he slammed his bow in the zombul's FACE! (I call 'em Zombuls..)

"Hmm.... I have no idea what any of this stuff is" she said before walking back out of the garage, not entirely sure why she had been there in the first place. She looked around in search of the swordsmen but couldn't find him. She went back, picked up her things and began walking around the perimeter of the small area, wondering why there were no"zombuls" around. She checked that her gun was reloaded before noticing what appeared to be a storm not too far away. "Hard to see in the rain..." She mumbled, thinking she wouldn't be much use when it hits. "Hey, Swordsman, where are you?" She called our, hoping he had some sort of super hearing

Graham asks a zombul stuck in a trap, "You know what I miss?" The zombul flails around and growls. "Graham crackers," says Graham. He falls over laughing, but the zombul just lays there. "Um.. sorry, I'll just excuse myself.." Graham walks off. With his stuff.

(I keep picking the worst possible ratings in every post.) Graham notices an electric storm and opens his laptop. Just as he thought. No laptop. Graham cursed loudly, screaming and raging, the night air not helping a bit (as the night air on this place magnifies voice like hell. Unlike Earth, where voice is magnified a bit at night.).

She said, a little worried by all the metal equipment oying around, bound to attract some lightning. "H-hey... I know this might be an odd question but uh... Are you and your friend you know.... Dating..?" She asked softly, her face glowing pink and refusing to look him in the eyes, well, helmet. "B-because if you are, that's perfectly fine! Perfectly fine!" "Hmm..." Lucy hummed convincingly, despite her medical experience, she had never been very good with herbs, her old deceased teacher always used to scolded her for not paying very much attention. "I think this one is used for rashes..?" She said, plucking a small leaf from the plant. It didn't help she kept on getting distracted by the swordsman not too far away, imagining what he was thinking behind his armour. She often found herself turning around to look at him

A truck could be heard otuside the base. It stopped in fron of the base and Celia hopped out. "Alice!!! Help me move the vehicles onboard!!!" She yelled as she got back in and brought the truck to the entrance of the garages that was on the outside. She parked it and got out and back into the base. She walked up to Lucy and Soma. "Hey, we are heading out soon. If you would like to come with us, you can. If not, the base is yours." she said with a shrug. "You guys came at the wrong time to get too friendly with us, As we were just about to leave."
