You glance at Ulrich, then back at the Beats.


"Yourrrr Barrrrd is injurrrred. See if you can heal him. I'll go take carrrre of the Underrrrling."

The Beats move Ulrich aside, and carry him into a large hut.

You take out your claws and inspect them. They could probably use an upgrade again... You quickly head back to the cave and use your katar to smash a crystal, picking up the fragments. You return to the village and catch a Beat's attention.


"Is therrrre an alchemy station in this village?"

"Yes, in the hut to your right."

"Thank you."





You head into the hut and find a full alchemy station. You set to work, combining your claws with the crystal shards. You create the VOID REAVERS, a pair of diamond-hard claws wreathed in darkness.


"Perrrrfect."





You set out to the cave again, this time to find the Underling.

Ulrich : Get tribal Healing


The Beats gather around you and begin a melodious chant, surrounding your leg with a warm green light. The pain in your leg fades, and you stand.


"Thanks for the assistance Beats."

Fenras: Encounter


You follow the cave to its end in search of the Underling, using your Wristtop as a light.

Light reflects off the crystals, lighting the whole room. A large monster groggily opens its cat like eyes, and gears begin spinning within it's robotic arm. The beast stands and screeches.

Fenras: Strife!


You take off your Wristtop and set it down in a place where it can light the room, then put on your Reavers and lunge at the Underling, clawing at it.

The monster raises its large mechanical hand upwards, and swings ti down in a balled fist, shattering the ground beneath it. Stone shards go flying towards Fenras, and the beast roars.

You dodge the shards and lunge again, digging your claws into the monster's non-mechanical shoulder.

The beast screeches in fury and chomps down towards its attacker with it's clawed beak.

The monster's bite grazes your shoulder. You push yourself up onto its back and start slashing at the back of its head.

The beast begins shaking in rage as plastic shards go flying off of it's body.

You stab one claw into the monster's head to brace yourself and keep slashing with the other.

Grist pours from the beast's head, and with one final roar, it hits the floor motionless.

You stand triumphantly over the monster for a moment, before slicing off its mechanical arm and captchalogueing it. You then collect the grist it dropped, retrieve your wristtop, and go back to the village.

"Is the monster slain, Prince of Rage?"

You take out the arm and hold it aloft.


"The beast is slain."

The Beats rejoice, and a warm glow envelops Fenras.


"Hero, grow stronger with our gift!"

Vix: Wait


As they finally calm down, you stare at them.


"So... You want me to do what?"


"THE BREEEEEEEEEEEZE"


*Sigh* Well, they all seem totally insane. As you go to leave, the elder lady water-scale beast walks up behind you.


"Apologies. We just got excited because now we have hope. We are the Neon Crocodiles. We use the energy of the sky's electricity to power ourselves and everything around us. However! The winds above us have started becoming increasingly active, so much so that the electricity is rarely able to come down anymore. We are unable to do anything about it, but a certain Breeze will. AS FORETOOOOOLD!"


The creatures repeated this phrase numerous times then settled down.


"How's this apply to me?"


"It does not. At least, not yet. Not until we find out. For now, you must go on through the portals and meet with your comrades."


"I guess I'll do that? Where are the portals located?"


"Just behind this building."


"Alright, well then I'll see you guys around."


"GOODBYE! GOOOOOOODBYYYYE!"


Vix: Go


You get out of there, and fast. As you enter your home again, some Underlings can be seen messing around in your hive. You get out your ENTICINGLY SOLID READ, and knock them out.


Vix: Level up!


Congratulations! You've climbed a rung on the Echeladder and earned 239 BoonBucks. You've ALSO leveled up to WORKFORCE ROOKIE. Huh? Okay then? You should probably contact Fenras eventually, but later. They were probably busy anyway.

You say traversing the halls followed by Autumn sprite and Quin. You enter your room everything seemingly in order, you take off your lab coat and googles setting them by your bedside table and stretching for a bit before noticing Autumn staring at you, head tilted sideways.

You dig in your drawers a bit making it similar to a small hideaway animal bed, but a single lump still remained. You dig out under the shirts in the drawer and find your old wizard plush... that was... an awkward time to say the least. you discard it by tossing it behind you, right into Autumn sprite. You turn around now seeing Autumn observing her new form, she now had a small cloak and a wizard hat as well as arms.





Finally, Jesus you took forever doing that.

Autumn then exited the room leaving Drew and Quin, who was now curled up in the shirt drawer and Drew slowly flopping onto his bed with about a million theories and questions encircling his head.
