Futuristic Galactic Empires

Hawke

Hawke awoke from his nap at the sound of problem, and he rubbed his eyes. "Oh great...more fun. What was that...a 20 minute ride? How long was I out?"

Shala

Shala shook her head, insulting Hawke in Gradian. Something in which Brutus took humor to, as he started chuckling to himself.

Shala ignored this. "May I ask what the problem is? I don't mean to step out of my place."

The ships soon began to descend towards the planet. Soon, they were at cruising altitude as they made way for the massive docking bay. Withing an hour, all ships of the 500th battle fleet have docked in the Space navy port.

The massive cargo doors opened up as a fully militarized column was waiting. The column was made up of 9 armoured vehicles, 3 tanks, 2 helicopters, several troop transports, and several black vans.

The UGF marines showed the senators to their cars but escorted shala and her group to different cars. The marines opened the door to let her in and closed it. They then took her other representatives to a different black van behind.

Inside the van that Shala was in, was the President of the UGF. And beside him was Kiria.

"Hello." The President said stretching out a hand.

GSE

Shala

"Greetings." Shala said, shaking the Presidents hand, though it was a horrible handshake as the people of the GSE bowed instead of shaking hands but..it would due.

"You have a very beautiful culture." Shala said, complementing the nation.

[\UGF/]

"Yes. We do. And I hope that I will be able to learn about your culture as well." The President said.

The vehicles began to move as they began to drive away from the massive military navy port.

The President was looking outside of the window of the car before turning back to face shala. "I am assuming that it is your first time inside a vehicle that still uses the traditional wheels."

Shala

Shala laughed. "You assumed correctly, though I guess wheels do have their advantages."

-Revenant

The station had prepared a number of reactors to help assist the Revenant and was waiting for them to pick them up.

-Sigmaterian borders

At the price of thousands of drones, Sigmaterian territory was mapped to the point where the Dominion could conclude their empire spread in a rough sphere. By measuring the rate of expansion of a few random points across their territory it became stupendously easy to form a more passive course of action. The space directly in the way of the Sigmaterian war machine was prioritized for learning about, particularly the culture of sentient species and the biology of any life as it was unknown what happened to those under the rule of the Sigmaterian empire.

-GSE

"These resources are to be requisitioned from your empire for a fair and appropriate price. A outpost will be set up to that end." The monotoned voice replied. As it spoke much of Seraph fleet began to turn departing for the Sanctum that was just now activating. Only a few ships were left behind, dwarfed by the far larger Gradian ships.

GSE

"And what sort of resources are you looking for, if we may ask?" The voice over the communications asked.

[\UGF/]

"Yes, you can say that." The President said.

"I heard the trip was long. We shall talk for a bit when we arrive and we sign our agreement tomorrow if that is alright with you."

The military convoy after several more hours soon reached the outskirts of the capital city. Soon massive metal skyscrapers thousands of stories high were visible. As the convoy exited the freeway and into the main streets, out of the window, they could see mobs of people protesting. The street was packed and made it slightly hard to move around.

By the time they got to the main building, a white building that had a very imperial design. In front of the building was a massive fence, and there were protesters all holding signs and chanting 'death to sigmatron.' In front of the fence, there were police officers, military personnel all wearing riot gear and holding riot shields or guns, and vehicles guarding the presidential house. On the other side of the fence, there were troops will full combat gear guarding the perimeter.

Shala

Upon seeing the signs that said Sigma, her eyes opened wide. Hawke went silent (For once) and Brutus stopped reading. This most likely meant that this empire had already had open conflict with Sigma.

Yet Shala kept quite, and continued to follow in. Though she had to look as if she needed to say something. Instead of saying something though, she just continued to floow, gazing up at the extremely tall buildings. In the GSE buildings weren't nearly this tall.

A data file was sent requesting a number of ores and minerals. Many of these minerals seemed to have no practical purpose yet they all shared a rather complex molecular structure. In exchange the Dominion were offering to construct a reactor or provide an equivalent tonnage of alloys that were far more useful in a variety of roles.

Revanent heavy carriers proceeded to pick up the reactors. Most were transported to several hatcheries as they were instantly assimilated into the millions of programs to show its construction. However the energy source was still only unique to the dominion. Instantly several new capital and heavy cruiser ships were born within 3 hrs. The energy from the dominion reactors proved very efficient in growth as well as hull regeneration.

4 of the reactors were transported to the Matriarch where they were installed to the ships energy grid. Instantly the ship glowed bright purple as it began to evolve further. After the bright light faded a new matriarch was born.

It grew to the size of a yellow star. It hovered their as the hull looked fragile like when a crab sheds it's shell. Within minutes the hull hardened to a metallic compound stronger then titanium.

The convoy stopped at the main entrance as all the senators and representatives were escorted inside. Once all the politicians and representatives were inside, the convoy left.

"I do apologies for having you come to our world at a time of national crisis." The President said. Once all the politicians left, the president looked at Shala. "Back in the car, you were going to say something. What was it that you wanted to talk about Primemistress?"

GSE

The GSE did not know what to think of this. Wether to trust what the dominion was doing or not...

They agreed that for now they would deliver the minerals...for now.

Shala

"Those people out there: They are protesting about Sigma are they? What contact have you had with Sigma, and please do tell the whole story. This is vital information, we've seen...well heard through radio interceptions what Sigma does."

Hawke

"Sigma isn't exactly the friendliest of empires...even to their own people."

Brutus

"Well, at least they treat their people better than their planets."

~Dominion~

-Revenant

The station, it's duty completed, reduces its power output and goes into a semi-dormant state. Only maintaining itself and keeping passive scans of its surroundings.

-GSE

The few Dominion ships left combine and begin to reconstruct themselves into a trading outpost identical to the one inside Revenant territory. Apparently they intend to stick around...

[\UGF/]

The President sighed sitting down. He looked outside as soldiers began firing tear gas and smoke grenades once again. He then turned back.

"One of our passenger craft carrying 203 innocent centrions was lost and found themselves close to the sigmatron border. They took out the passenger craft's engines and parts of their communications. I know for a fact that they were going to take my people in to do something with them. But soon, these ships came and one. This civilization called the Dominion, decided to to take our people in. But did not care about them because the ship that was carrying our civilians was destroyed by sigmatron."

The President looked at Shala. "We have expressed our anger to the sigmatron emperor, and we are planning on telling the DOminion species to back off from our borders as well. Our neighbors know that we have a massive population and control numerous galaxies. but 203 lives means a lot to us. We centrions care deeply for every living creature and machine that lives within our borders. And if Sigmatron thinks that there will be no consequences, there will be consequences. I've personally dug into several nations that have already fallen or had a similar experience as us. This civilization does not care about other races. All they do is enslave them. And the UGF. If necessary, will fight to defend our rights, freedoms, but to also liberate those people one day."

Shala

Shala gazed over at Brutus, who was gazing back. He nodded to Shala. "Well, your motives are definitely honorable. But according to the radio reports we've received, many other empires have thought the same. Those empires we now believe are enslaved, working harsh manual labor beyond any horror that we could imagine. Reports are scattered, and mosts seem like make believe."

Hawke

"What the Prime Ministress is saying is that Sigma is a war machine with many gears. Those gears happen to be very well lubricated and function very well, as we have not heard any radio reports on anything even remotely slowing them down."

[Revanent home system Illyria]

The new matriarch had bin upgraded with dimensional drives which acted like worm holes creating institutions travel. He had bin in for me ed that most of the galaxy they currently resided in had bin assimilated. New species provided useful genetic sequences as well as weapons tech. With the new data saved to the ships mined tarus spun up the dimensional drive creating a large blue portal. Several capital ships, heavy cruisers, etc. We're stored in the ships hangers. Tarus then preceeded through the portal.

[unknown galaxy]

A bright blue portal opened up as the matriarch came through. The portal closed behind it as The matriarch scanned the area. In the far distant planet had a very industrial society. From the scenes and radio chatter tarus could see this colony belonged to the Monroe empire.

[\UGF/]

"They underestimate us and our power." The President said. "They think were some neutral nation only capable of defending our own territory. What they don't know is that we have one of the most advanced and one of the most powerful armies in the universe. Not only that, we have the best minds inf the UGF developing new vehicles, armour, and weapons for our army. Only recently have we begun to fuel our war machine."

The president turned back. "I can confirm that those reports are true. The sigmatron emperor demanded titanium or a certain amount of our population to be enslaved. But I will tell you this. We the Centrion race have fought wars for thousands of years. We are a race that will fight to the bitter end. We are not the civilization that will retreat. We will fight and die no matter the cost. The Sigmatron empire has never experienced a war with the UGF, and if they ever do, they will see just how relentless we are and how high our morals are."

Shala

Shala closed her eyes and slowly nodded. This empire was very much like the GSE. "Well, have they announced war, or are they just going to wait until their boundaries are closer?"

GSE

Meanwhile the GSE begins to deliver the minerals to the dominion.

[\MonroeEmpire/]

Luthar woke up to sirens and warning lights. He must have fallen asleep reading the new tech orders for the company. He quickly looked up, and saw many lights flashing on the screens in front of him.

"Jen, whats happening?' He said, a little agitated.

"Well, it seems the early warning system has been tripped by the planet Argas in the Potry system. Pulling up a live feed now." Jen replied in a small sweet voice.

The live feed instantly replaced the entire screen in front of Luthar.

"What the hell is that!?" Luthar said, as he saw the "Matriarch".

"We have a vault gate in that system right? Call the 2nd n' 3rd and tell them to great ready to jump there, on my command! We'll just see if they try anything!"

[\UGF/]

"We are prepared for a long and bloody conflict with Sigmatron if it ever comes to war. We have a massive population and we are willing to replace our casualties. Even genetically grow soldiers."

The President said. "Now, Lets talk about our trade."

[Revanent/Monroe empire]

The matriarch detected warning signals being broadcasted. Additional scans were made as the star sized ship slowly moved towards the planet. This race had appeared very advanced, and was beyond normal protocols for assimilation. 5 capital moon sized ships were released from the ships hangers. Strictly for defensive reasons the ships took formation in front of the matriarch.

~GSE~

The station, now mostly completed. Was ready to accept the minerals, a reactor was in the process of being fabricated. The station began scanning the Gradians ships in a more invasive manner so as to better adapt the reactors design to be compatible with their foreign technology.

Brutus

Brutus glanced over to Hawke "Hm. Genetically grown soldiers? What would you know about that Hawke?"

Hawke

"Shut up Reptile..."

Shala

Shala zoned out the other two. "Yes, trade would benefit the both of our nations well. What is it that your nation seeks for resources?"

Meanwhile GSE ships continue to send trading ships to deliver the minerals, as scheduled.

~GSE~

With the reactor completed, a few small drones carry it in a reinforced container to the waiting GSE ships and wait to receive the minerals.
