Amy nods as Emeli talks. She blushes more when she says that she was cute. Why does she make me feel like this? Amy thinks. She shrugs it off and continues eating. Never had she tasted anything so tasty. She adjusts her glasses and stays silent.

Emeli looked down and let out a tiny squeal of excitement. They were nearing the end of their meal and there was finally a shark in their table. Emeli pointed down, reaching across and repeatedly tapping Amy's arm, trying to show her. It always make Emeli happy when the sharks come to visit her.

The waiter had stopped by again, asking about desert, though Emeli declined, she always filled herself up before desert, despite it always looking so good.

After they finished their dinner Emeli thanked the waiter and led Amy to her keep, asking her how she liked it on the way. It was getting late and Emeli had to go to sleep, she already knowingly missed track practice, she thought she probably shouldn't miss her morning practice too. There's only one way to be number one, and that's practice, at least that's Emeli's philosophy.

She fake smiled. "I really liked it," Amy said, bottom jaw quivering a little. Why a shark? Why, of all things, a shark? Amy thought, eyes wide open, head down, and hair covering her face. One of her worst fears are sharks, because of a terrifying memory.

Emeli made her way to her regular parking spot near the back entrance and parked her car. She gathered her things and walked alongside Amy to their dorms, including small talk on the way. Emeli gathered some shower supplies when they made it to their room and got ready to take a shower before doing a little bit of studying. There was still a few hours before she had to go to sleep.

Amy just sat on her bed just like how he sat in the car. After your shower, Amy quickly grabbed her shower stuff and rushed to the shower. When the shower gets warm, Amy steps into the shower and sits on the floor of the shower and cries, the sound dampened by the roar of the shower, but it could still be heard if someone put their ear to the door (hint hint- nudge nudge).

Army's been acting weird since they left the restaurant, Emeli could tell, especially with the way she rushed into the shower. She knew a girl like that when she was younger, but she was just starting to go through her period at school. Emeli didn't think this was the case, so as she was drying her hair she stepped up to the bathroom door. She could hear Amy crying softly. Emeli wondered what was wrong. Maybe she had mean parents like her? Emeli's family always made her cry whenever they talked. But there's only one way to be sure. Emeli finished with her hair and sat on Amy's bed, pulling out a few books to study in the meantime. Thinking of the best way of asking.

After a little while, Amy finally came out and looked over at Emeli. "Hey," She says, smiling, trying to hide the fact that she cried. She walks over to Emeli and sits next to her. "Thanks again for taking me to dinner," She says. Please don't know that I was crying, Amy thinks.

Emeli looked up smiled, though she didn't get off of Amy's bed, instead, she just looked back down to her books, waiting for Amy to ask why she's still on her bed.

After a couple of minutes and Emeli still hadn't moved, Amy could tell there is something going on. "Why are you still on my bed exactly?" Amy asked.

Emeli looked at Amy, looking puzzled at the question. "Me? Oh, don't mind me sitting here, you just looked like you needed a friend, so here I am!" Emeli gave a big smile. "OH don't give me that look, I've cried plenty in the bathroom, hoping others wouldn't know." Emeli gave a small, supportive smile to try and help ease the tension, patting the bed next to her, indicating Amy's seat.

Any blinked, a little shocked that she knew that she was crying. She didn't move and looked down at the ground, turning her head away from Emeli. "It's nothing," Amy said quietly.

"Ha! Then you don't get your bed. I'm taking over the room mwahahahahaha!" Emeli held her hands up, fingers curled in an evil gesture. Then she put them down, patting the bed again, "I'm not going to leave you alone until you tell me, don't make me hurt you!" Emeli gave a wicked smile, rubbing her hands together to show how evil she was.

"I said that it is nothing," Amy said, a little more forcefully this time. She gripped the sheets white-knuckle tight. Her arms start shaking, along with her legs.

Emeli sat more calmly now, speaking in a calm voice. Nodding towards Amy's tensed body, "That doesn't look like nothing." Emeli looked up at Amy sympathetically. "You can hide it if you want, but I still see it." Emeli stands and gathers her books, "If you need a shoulder, I live right there." Emeli pointed towards her bed before making her way over and laying her things down, giving one final look towards Amy. I hope I didn't push to far. All I know is it would have been nice if my friends would notice my pain from time to time.

Amy doesn't ease up when Emeli leaves. Her jaw starts quivering too. Tears start running down her face, though this happens silently. Not knowing what she was doing, she slowly lifts her sleeve and takes out a small acupuncture needle and makes a small cut on the bicep and then covers it with her sleeve.

Emeli sees what Amy is doing, but it doesn't register in her mind before she can react. The blood is already poking through Amy's sleeve. Emeli figured that needle wasn't for medical purposes. Emeli lunged at Amy, tackling her to the ground while shouting, "Hey, what do you think you're doing?"

(I'm assuming Emeli is stronger than Amy, since she's a track star and works out every day, and so I'm going to do a little bunnying here, if it's not OK, then I'm sorry and let me know and I'll change it, but it's more for the sake of saving time. Also, if you ever want to plan out an event ahead of time, we can chat it up in the OoC thread <3)

They struggle for only a moment before Emeli is able to pin down Amy. Emeli knocks the needle out of Amy's hand a day holds her down, looking intently into her eyes, waiting for her to calm down and give her an explanation.

(Okay, and I agree, Emily should be stronger) Amy struggles, even though she knows that Emily is stronger. She doesn't speak, but keeps her eyes closed, knowing that if she looked into Emeli's eyes, she would tell her. Still, she tried to pull her arms out of Emeli's iron grip.

Emeli could see Amy was resisting, though she didn't really know how to help her. Maybe opening up about herself would help, so Amy would see it wasn't as bad as it seems.

Emeli doesn't loosen her grip, but she begins talking calmly, "Did you know my family disowned me? Not just my mom and dad, but my siblings, aunts, uncles, even my grandparents and all of their friends. They think the path I'm taking through life is an evil one, they think I'm some kind of devil." Emeli looks down at Amy to see if she would budge before continuing her story, "I was crying here my first year in one of the restrooms on the main campus. I had talked to my parents on the phone to try and get some school supplies out of them, but they refused, saying Devils don't need books. Some girl heard me crying and ended up helping me out. Her name is Mary a day she's my best friend. I believe she changed my life for the better, having reached out to me. If you'd let me, I'd like to be that friend for you now." Emeli looked at Amy expectantly, waiting for a response, smiling to help ease the tension. Though of course Emeli conveniently left out the fact that the reason she was disowned was because she was gay.

Amy didn't ease up, even after hearing that, she was still hard as a rock. She stopped struggling though, trying to save energy. "Why did they disown you?" Amy asks. As soon as she loosens up, I'll go for it. She slowly adjusted her hands into a good position.

"Eh, they want me to be a doctor or lawyer." Emeli used her go to answer for this question. Since she was Asian, no one questioned it. "But, I didn't workout tonight, so I have plenty of energy, so you'll have to give up eventually." Emeli leaned forward a little to look at the cut on her shoulder. Emeli has had extensive first aid training, so she's fairly confident she can call this a minor cut that doesn't need immediate attention. It can wait a little while until Emeli gets the answers she's looking for.

Amy still stayed the way she was, grinding her teeth a little. "I can tell that there is something you aren't saying. You are still hiding something, just like me," She says, not easing up at all, "If you tell me your secret, I'll tell you mine."

"Hmm." Emeli still had fears of being rejected, but something had to give, "I do have a secret, but, seeing as how I have you beat, you first." Emeli gave a goofy evil grin, waiting for Amy's response.

"Well, if you have me beat, then you have nothing to lose, right?" Amy says, trying to get her off balance. Hopefully it won't be too shocking, otherwise I'll be off guard.

Amy starts to struggle again, and Emeli is beginning to tear up. She speaks softly, "I'm attracted to girls." Now Emeli was beginning to become hysterical, her voice getting louder and more frantic. "And now you're gonna hate me because you think I'm going to hit on you, that I'll turn you gay. I'm not an evil person!" Emeli allows Amy to push her off, sliding onto her bottom, looking away from Amy in fear. What seems like an eternity passed by before Emeli got up and bolted out of the door, not even grabbing her stuff on the way.

Emeli was relieved the halls were empty, it was the middle of the night. Emeli realized she didn't grab her keys, so she couldn't go for a drive, so she decided to wander the halls for some time. She wanted to call Mary, her best friend, but she had also left her phone behind, she wasn't sure what she should do anymore. Why did I say anything? Did I think that anyone would be nice to me after they found out? No, she probably thinks I'm going to try and touch her in her sleep. God, I'm such an idiot.

Amy groaned. Why did I have to make her say that? I mean, I don't care if she is gay. I'll have to go after her. Amy grabbed her keys along with Emeli's and walked out of the door. "Emeli!" Amy whispers, so not to wake anyone up.
