She nodded. She began twiddling her thumbs around and smiling.

Kimichi started on some work. He had to work on the sponsor. He hoped Williams kept his end of the deal. Anything to help those robots.

"How long do you believe it will be before he gives us the robots?" She asked looking up at Kimichi.

 

[AlexisLaura]

"I'm not sure. Why?" He glanced up from his work.

 

[xXGodoftheGeeksXx]

"I was only wondering. He may not bring them at all, you know..." She started twittling her thumbs again.

 

[AlexisLaura]

"That's why my sponsor is not going through until I get them. And it will need to be renewed every month." He smiled. "I never said there wouldn't be fine print."

"That is true..."


A few hours passed and the robots finally came. Xio brought all of them to the office.


"These are dented...and they're off."

 

[AlexisLaura]

"Of course. Off how?" He pinched the bridge of his nose again before getting up.

 

[xXGodoftheGeeksXx]

"Off. They don't turn on at all. They're broken I believe." She explained looking around them finding dents everywhere.

 

[AlexisLaura]

"I'll kill him." He sighed. "See if they can be fixed. In the meantime I need to have a talk with Mr. Williams."

 

[xXGodoftheGeeksXx]

"Yes, Sir." Xio continued to search for a way to fix them. They all had the same problem.

 

[AlexisLaura]

Kimichi was pissed as he called Williams.

Williams picked up.


"Hello?"

 

[AlexisLaura]

"This was not part of the deal Williams." He growled.

 

[xXGodoftheGeeksXx]

"What are you talking about? I sent them! I'm being completely honest, here."

 

[AlexisLaura]

"I didn't agree to broken ones! I don't think you understand your predicament right now! I agreed to help you, screwing me over was not smart. Now you can fix this or you will not get the sponsorship. I tried to be nice Williams."

 

[xXGodoftheGeeksXx]

"Listen, I already told you they were old! I never said they were in mint condition! Besides, I didn't say there wasn't a fine print..."

 

[AlexisLaura]

Kimichi growled. "I swear to god williams! Why can't you be a decent person for once?! I wouldn't care if they worked but they won't even turn on!"

"I told you the truth! I said I'd give you robots, and I did. Technically I did exactly what I said I'd do, you're just mad because it didn't turn out like you wanted it to."

 

[AlexisLaura]

"Well you know what, I'm pulling the sponsor!"

"Fine! Go ahead! You're not the only company in the world, dumbass!"

 

[AlexisLaura]

"Great! Good luck finding another top company! You know as well as I do my sponsor would be better than any of those other companies, maybe even better than twoput together!"

Williams rolled his eyes. "Okay, it's been fun, but I have work to do. See you later old friend!" He said in a cocky tone before hanging up.


Xio looks up at Kimichi.


"It doesn't sound like it went well..."

 

[AlexisLaura]

Kimichi sighed softly. "Unfortunately not." He looked at her. "Any luck..?"

"Kind of... I found out they're fauxbots. Fake robots. People will make them, and sell them as a scam."
