"It looks potent enough to erase the last few hours." He said. He took out a vial and dipped it in. "Only one way to find out." He reached the vial to his lips about to drink. He was confident in her potion but was she? After all what if it was too strong and he forgot that they made up?

Emily still couldn't believe she had brewed a potion. She watched as Earl dipped in a vial and raised it to his lips "wait!" she said "dont drink it....you cant...not right now. what if it does work and you forget that we're friends again.." she said

He looked at her. And the vial. "Well that is a valid concern." He said. (So I've decided two things. One he doesn't talk in a British accent two he's played by Todd Haberkorn. My favorite anime voice actor ever)

He tapped it with his wand. "Down the hatch." He said drinking the vial with reckless abandon just to satisfy his own curiosity.

(Also no British accent so he just sounds American XD. But Natsu, lol I can see that being Earl's voice )
"no Earl!...ahh idiot...why did you do that?!" she said. Now Earl is just going to forget, but maybe her potion was just horrible and nothing happens "Earl.....how you feeling?.." she asked

He looked at her blinked. "Fine why? Are you still on the fence about making the potion?" He asked he looked at the cauldron and the vile. "Hey look at that. I don't remember anything after leaving the great hall. Guess it worked." He said.

Emily sighed in relief he had only forgotten a little over half an hour. Then it hit her her brew had actually worked, overcome with joy she hugged him "it worked Earl...not quite strong but I don't care it actually worked!" she said happily

"Huh?" He looked down at her and blinked again. "That's great." He said. Be better if I could remember the brewing portion. Oh well.
"Say Quidditch tryouts are tonight and I convinced Scamander to let me try out. Wanna come watch?"

"Of course. I've been watching since Gryffindor, Slytherin, and Ravenclaw's tryouts. Hufflepuff's the last one. I was quite a pro back during my school days. It looks like Earl's trying out for seeker as well. And his fallback and Beater. Interesting kid."
