From Rivalry to Romance

Nick woke up at the moment of his hair being touched, and saw Ray thinking deeply, "Uh-what are you doing with my hair?" He blushed.

 

[Paravine]

She heard Nick and quickly retreated her hands "Nothing, the place was crowded so I had to move my hand over you way.." Ray lies and handed him the food. "Eat it before you go hungry and I don't want to have to take care of you like a kid," she growls and turns here back toward him

Nick laughed, "You won't have to, as I have created a shelter for me and possibly you." He laughed again, "If not, we'd be dying in the dark wild, PLUS, I saved your life."

 

[Paravine]

"Ugh just shut up or I'll cut that mouth of yours off," Ray says irritated. If only he wasn't such a smart aleck, then she wouldn't have to worry about him killing her because of his annoyingness

"Sorry...." Nick apologized, a little sad. "Cut it off, no one'd care." He added.

 

[Paravine]

She rolled her eyes at his mocking tone but felt sympathy knowing that not a person cares for his well being. But I once did... Ray got up after the rain cleared and sat up top a rock and fell into a deep slumber

Nick couldn't rest nor fall asleep and laid against the smooth cave wall, asking questions to himself.

 

[Paravine]

Morning came just as quickly as night fell. Ray awoken to find vultures around her waiting for a chance to peck at her "HOLY @?!$#%^$-@#!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" She yells and quickly scrambles down the rock as the carnivorous birds dispersed

Nick rushed out of the cave and sighs. "What was it now.." He laughed. "The birds? They can only take a piece of hair off of you."

 

[Paravine]

"Yea, that's before I'm actually dead. If my body has no breathe then that's their cue to eat me," she replies hotly with a sarcastic tone to it and flips her hair like those popular girls at school but fails. Damn, I can't do it. Why must you make me so idiotic god! Ray puffs out her cheeks and stalks off to who-knows-where

Nick sighed, but laughed soon after. "She won't survive for long...." He sighed as he grabbed a few sticks from the ground and a rock. "Time to go huntin'" Nick tried to make an accent and sharpened the stick with the rock.

 

[Paravine]

Ray kicked a rock as she walked down an unknown road muttering curses. She spots a clearing and moved towards it. She cleared away the vines that hung loosely around it and found a hidden underground well. Can't hurt to know where this leads to she thought and climbed into it. Little did she know it was a 25ft drop

Nick smiled as he sharpened the stick to a durable spear that throws well and was decently sharp. He laughed as he attached a small vine to it. "Maybe I can throw it around." Nick thought of an idea and headed into the dense forest to hunt.

 

[Paravine]

Ray fell down the creepy old looking well and thought she might die but something soft broke her fall once again. Thinking it was Nick under her, she quickly got up in a defensive stance but notice it was only.. Feathers? As if answering her question, colorful birds flew across the well leading to a secret passageway. Awed, Ray followed but not after calling her rival "NICK!" Her voice echoed out

Nick heard a echo yell throughout the forest, calling his name. He ran toward a path. A path? It lead to a well that Nick knew obviously that she climbed and jumped down, landing on the standing Ray. "Ough!"

 

[Paravine]

"Ngh!" The breathe flew out of Ray as something hard landed on her. She opened an eye and sees Nick sitting up top. He. Was. Touching. Her. "YOU DESPERATE PERV!" She yells with this face --> (>///<)

Nick flew to the wall, embarrassed and hurting. "Ho-how am I a fucking perv!" He raged and yells back, the spear in his hand.

 

[Paravine]

Ray raises a brow. Is he seriously gonna stab her. Well.. She's been there, done that so it's obviously not a new thing to her but... Stupid senses told her to fear 
She stands shaking and backed up against the other side of the wall Geh! I hate being so weak against him!

 

[NickTehAvenger]

Nick sighed as he placed the spear down. "What the hell are you doing in here?" He asked, rolling his eyes and placing his hands down to the side.

 

[Paravine]

"I-I w-was.." She stopped short and coughed, trying to regain her voice "I was out exploring and found this well and then saw these birds.." She explains her eyes lighting up. "THE BIRDS! Nick let's follow them!" She exclaims not caring if her childishness was kicking in and followed the path

 

[NickTehAvenger]

"N-No!" He yelled, sitting back in the well. "You go and you die." He sighed as he started grabbing loose bricks and rocks, climbing the way back up.

 

[Paravine]

She huffed but did not listen to Nick. He was no fun. Ray starts her journey of following the birds until it became pitch black HOLY SHIT NO. She wasn't fond of darkness... She sat down curled up in a ball waiting for the next wave of birds to come to light up the way or die trying or.. Heck no, I'm not gonna call for that annoying idiot.. Ray decides and starts walking again, feeling her ways through the walls

Nick finally reached the dawn of light and climbed out of the well and laughed at her ignorance, walking a half of mile to a cliff where a hole was visible and pitch darkness reached inside of it.
