But a few centuries ago, three defectors banded together to create the Resistance, which would oppose this oppressive regime. Now, we find ourselves caught in these supernatural beings' stories and the factions they fight for.
Will you be a Vampire, an immortal being with an unquenchable thirst for blood? A Werewolf, a being who is compelled to shift into a beastly wolf on the night of a full moon? A Witch, someone with the affinity for harnessing the universe's mystical power? Or a Hunter, looking to slay "the evil of the world"? An end to this war is in sight, though, and everyone is questioning: who will prevail?

As one of the enslaved "Children of the Moon," you’re bound to the whims of the vampiric aristocracy, forced to fight your own kind in brutal death battles for the amusement of your oppressors. The full moon, once a symbol of the wolves’ primal connection to nature, has become a dreaded beacon, compelling those cursed by Lycaon's bloodline to shift into hulking beasts—whether they want to or not. While the Alphas and a few strong-willed wolves can control their transformations, able to shift at will, most are condemned to a lesser form of change, with only sharpened claws, elongated fangs, and animalistic features to fight with, making survival in this bloodsport even more grueling.
Yet despite the chains of their bondage, there is hope. A growing faction of werewolves has aligned with the Resistance, seeking freedom from the Vishanti's tyranny. They dream of a world where they can break free from their cursed fate and reclaim their honor as proud hunters, no longer used as mere tools of entertainment. But this struggle is far from simple. Despite these challenges, Hybrids have the potential to act as bridges between worlds, leveraging their duality to mediate conflicts and forge alliances in an increasingly volatile landscape.
As a Hybrid, you can draw upon the strengths of both realms, adapting your abilities to confront various threats. Your existence positions you as a formidable force in the struggle against greater evils that threaten both humanity and supernatural beings alike. Yet with this power comes great responsibility; the choices you make can significantly impact the delicate balance between the two worlds. Will you embrace your hybrid nature to champion understanding and unity, or will you succumb to the divisions that threaten to tear your world apart? Your journey will test your resolve, shaping not only your identity but also the fate of those around you.
1.BALANCE
Characters must be equally balanced, in gender and in species. I don't want this to be a male vampire fest. This universe is meant to be built and expanded upon with all of us, and to do that we need a diverse cast of characters. I will also allow double-characters per user once all role slots are filled. I'll discuss more on this later once the roles are filled.
2.MARY/GARY SUE
This is a roleplay and no one character will be the primary protagonist. So don't treat your character like some invincible being. Plot armor may work, but it won't always save you in this universe. And, the supernatural world will act on a mystical force that seeks balance (like the Force, almost). So please, refrain from making some special being with the most omnipotent abilities.
3.NO KILLING OR MAIMING W/O PERMISSION
Listen, I understand that you may want to create a badass character and an expert combatant, but being formidable doesn’t give you a free pass to kill off someone else’s character just to grab the spotlight. This is an 18+ roleplay, and we’ll be exploring mature themes, so it’s crucial to approach interactions with respect. If the other player is completely okay with you dealing damage to their character or even offing them, then that’s fine. Just make sure to communicate and get their consent first. Let’s keep the focus on collaboration and storytelling!

English is one hell of b*tch. It can be quite confusing, and grammar rules are always evolving it feels (though I'd argue they don't). However, I kindly ask that you strive for coherence in your writing and give it your best effort each time! I completely understand that there may be moments when interactions are limited or you’re unsure of what to write, and that’s perfectly okay. Just try not to make it a habit to only write a paragraph or a few sentences in each post. Additionally, please be consistent with your posting. If you have a busy schedule, think carefully about whether you can commit to joining. If something comes up, just let me know, and we can work something out.
