The Oscars last night deeply disappointed and annoyed me, and all for just one single reason.

I didn't even know it was last night. Then I was on tumblr, saw that it was, and also saw that HOW TO TRAIN YOU'RE DRAGON DIDN'T WIN SHIT. THEY DESERVE THAT, FOR FUCK'S SAKE. GODDAMMIT. I hate people. I hate people so much.

I just hate how DreamWorks worked so hard for both of the HTTYD movies, and didn't get an award for either. Like other people in the fandom are saying, HTTYD is now like the Leonardo Decaprio (probably spelled that wrong) of the animated movie industry. Also, DreamWorks had to lay off a bunch of employees because they don't have enough money to pay them. DreamWorks is losing money and fast, and there could be a possibility that they aren't a company anymore in a few years. That scares me more than you know. Then everyone gives Disney so much credit and publicity while shitting on DreamWorks and making them seem inferior to Disney, and wonder why people like me are annoyed when it causes DreamWorks to be in a lower light. Which, in turn, causes them to lose money. DWA is just as amazing (..if not more..) than Disney, with their amazing and original stories that stay in your heart forever. Especially with How To Train Your Dragon. Yet people shit on them because they aren't Disney.


I'm sorry. That was a terribly written argument, but it still makes me mad. And class will start soon, so I had to make it quick.
