Taffeta 'Taffy' Ashford

HUMAN
Full Appearance Taffeta is a fairly tall, light brown skinned teen. She tends to wear her light brown hair long, with some of it always covering her eyes. Her expression is almost always neutral, albeit creepy, with a blank expression and wide eyes that tends to be a tad offputting. Taffeta tends to wear loose, pastel colored smocks, and baggy pants. Anything soft and comfortable that won't get ruined by a bit of a mess.
Dark World Appearance In the dark world Taffeta's hair darkens to a purple, and she dons a dark colored lab coat, high necked purple shirt and a green lens that seems to blip with some kind of display

Background in Solace Burrow Taffeta kind of just appeared in Solace Burrow. Now of course, that's not how people work, but there was no fanfare. Not baby showers, no gossip, not even family from out of town flocking to visit. It just as if one day there were two Ashford children, and the next day little Taffeta was bumbling around the town, drawing spiraling patterns on the concrete. That kind of set the stage for what people know of Taffeta. More a cryptid than a kid. Some joke that you never see her in the same place, that you see her art more than the teen herself. And even when she does interact with people, a tendency to say few words and speak odd almost poetic phrases certainly doesn't help her case.
Friends and Family
Velvet and Finnian Ashford - Taffeta's parents, a pair of fairly loud and outgoing people who run a small Tailor Shop in the old side of Solace Burrows.
Jean Ashford - Taffeta's older sister. Fairly cynical and pragmatic... with the exception of her dreams of starting a designer fashion line.
Argyke "AA" Ashford - Taffeta's bubbly older sibling and the oldest of the Taffeta children. They're taking a year off before heading to go to college abroad. Very playful and even mischevious at times.
Personality Taffeta is a pretty kind and friendly person. Albeit one with a serious problem properly expressing herself. She tends to use her art, her flowery speech or simple gestures to communicate the storm of thoughts in her head. And despite how apathetic Taffeta appears, she's a deeply caring person.

'Draco-la' Drake Miller.
Yes, he nicknamed himself this. Yes, he's made fun of for it.
HUMAN or MONSTER?
Bat monster. Insists he's closely related to a vampire bat, but more closely resembles a fruit bat.
Full Appearance
A light brown bat who tends to go for an edgy casual fashion sense. When nobody tells him 'no', he'll go to anywhere with his horror movie themed tees, mud-stained camo cargo shorts, mismatched socks and velcro sneakers. While not downright hot topic, he's pretty dang close. Despite trying to look big and mean, he's really fluffy and short.
Dark World Appearance
His fur turns black. He wears strawberry colored pants covered with white, arcane symbol patches. Over that, he has a white sheet over him with shredded ends like that of a ghost and 5 holes for his mouth, eyes and ears. Has no attacking advantage and looks to be designed after a halloween costume of sorts. Has a pinkish scarlet pumpkin bucket designed for trick-o-treating. (For this I thinking he could be a cleric, and instead of regular healing spells he summons pieces of candy for others to heal with. The most he can do for attacks is status effects, like summoning pumpkin vines to inflict an enemy with falling.)

For the light world, he has a lot of desaturated earthy tones. Light brown, greys, muddy greens.
For the dark world, white, black, scarlet and strawberry looks to be a theme.

Background in Solace Burrow
Baby to now, this bat has caused chaos in Solace Burrow his entire life. Whether it be skateboarding in a place he shouldn't or pulling pranks, he's notorious for all the wrong reasons. He lives in a trailer on the outskirts of town, close to the woods. However, one could argue that's only where he sleeps, because much like a feral cat he spends most of his time outdoors either in the woods or somewhere in town, hanging out with other weirdos and try hards.
Though it may seem like he could be a violent kid, aside from petty crimes and a few harmless pranks, his history here is relatively harmless. He's even got good grades!
His parents, however...
Friends and Family
Brianna and Billy- His parents, otherwise known as the B's. Two inseparable high-school sweet hearts.. If you can count always getting back together as being insperable. As a resident, it's unfortunately a commonplace to somehow be dragged inside their monthly breakup, whether it be a Facebook page flooded with tmi or their shouting matches in public settings. While they both seem to unconditionally love their son, it's no wonder why he's barely at home.
Goth Kids- Obviously non-specific. Tends to hang out with the goth clique of this school, and though he speaks the world of every one ot them, it seems like in return they mostly tolerate him. Rarely invited to their events.
Personality
A bundle of impressionable chaos who will eat worms to impress someone. This said, he doesn't really talk all too much about himself and it's hard to pinpoint what he is underneath his tryhard mask. Outdoorsy and can be rude sometimes.

Samuel Jameson VI(?)

HUMAN or MONSTER? Monster, specifically a humanoid bird
Full Appearance
Samuel is...something. He's a bipedal, humanoid bird, for one. His feet are talons, and he does indeed have wings. He looks like some sort of eagle. but more than that...he dresses like he walked straight of the set of Hamilton. He even has a cravat. He prefers warm colors, to contrast his extremely...extra fashion sense, somehow fitting his bright white feathers and bright red feet.

Dark World Appearance
In theDark World, he'\s somehow even more extra. He takes the form of a musketeer, feathered cap included. In terms of weaponry, he of course uses a rapier that he is indeed trained to use. HIs colors are much brighter, blues and yellows contrasting his usual dress. And to top it off, his feathers almost seem to glow, giving off a faint light, almost angelic. Over his flamboyant 18th century clothes, he wears a sort of old timey poncho, with an elaborate bird design on the front and back. The feather on his cap is a bright red color.

Background in Solace Burrow
You probably know the Jameson’s. Or at the very least, your parents probably do. They’ve been a part of Solace Burrow for decades. Ever since the founding of the town, really, a Jameson has held some important position, even if it was ceremonial.

And then there’s Samuel, who looks as if he was there when the town was founded. And acts like it too. While his parents, his mother the police chief and his father the mayor, are well respected, Sam is…Sam. He acts posh, aloof, and talks like he thinks every conversation is an audition for Shakespeare. And he LOVES it.

Friends and Family
Abigail and Benjamin: His mother and father respectively. Well respected members of teh community, who each run several charities in the town. Though loving, they are quite distant much of the time.

Mary: His little sister, who he loves dearly and is the only person he is completely honest about. He will kill ANYONE who hurts her.

Theater kids: He’s teh alpha theater kid, so strange and out there he commands respect.

Personality (Short Blurb)
Extra. He is VERY extra. He expresses all emotion in long, detailed soliloquies, monologues about why the lunchroom running out of pizza is bullshit, songs about why he hates math. He has them all, and he has even more sass. Samuel puts on a mask of “I’m better than you,” keeping everyone at arm’s length in an effort to not get too close, while also desperately trying to keep people from abandoning him.

Winter "Winnie" Cadence​

MONSTER: Raccoon/ Rabbit-ish monster.
Full Appearance: Winter is a Humanoid Monster that seems to be crossed with a Raccoon and a Rabbit, with light brown fur with black stripes on arms and tail as well as on her rabbit-like ears. The most surprising thing about her is her large horn on her forehead. She normally dresses in Warm colors that seems to be inspired by the season of spring and summer. She wears is an Green mini-dress with short sleeves and an Oranger longe sleeved shirt with a breast pocket on the right. She likes scarfs so she wears a Dark blue colored scarf, She really doesn't wears shoes for some reason.
Dark World Appearance: In the Darkworld Her appearance takes on difference change as her fur changes to light blue with neon green stripes. Her outfit changes to more of an traveler appearance, Wearing a dark orange long sleeve shirt with a light green diamond in the middle of the shirt and a purple vest, But over this vest is a Brown satchel that carries all of her stuff. She's wearing The same scarf but it's white now.

Winter'sancestors were travelers who arrived into the town when it was founded, The family was one of the people who helped the town be founded as well of being explorers. over some generations and generations They had a tradition on every beginning of a season, They would have the biggest celebration and bring a bunch of family members and inviting the town to come. It's always been a dozy to come.

And, This is Where Winter comes in, She doesn't act posh, But she does act like an Explorer and Gamer, Since her father now owns an AArcade and Her mother still goes on travels now and then. Winter is known for causing accidental trouble and also for testing everyone for tales of their own adventure and finding old knick-knacks ad antiques.

Personality: Winter is an Peppy and energetic Teenager with a heart for adventure, She likes to have fun and is an Adrenaline junkie, preferring for crazy adventures that might wind her up into trouble. She is teasing on anyone who's shorter than her, But she means well.
