Vesta “Smith”
✴︎⋆✴︎⋆✴︎
21.Gemini. All four. Phoenix.
Matteo was an idiot. How did he think she didn't see him that way? Vesta never gave anyone but him and Veda the time of day, hell, even when she was at odds with Veda she chose only him. She supposed the same could be said of her. She never thought he'd like her because she was, well, a brute of a princess. He deserved someone elegant, someone the exact opposite of her. But... they could be idiots together and she was completely fine with that. So long as she had him.
After the lot of them dispersed, her and Matteo were finally alone. They moved their party of two to the hot tub that overlooked the ocean with their glasses of wine, simply enjoying each others presence and conversation. Vesta seriously couldn't believe that he liked her-- Aiden made it seem like Matteo never would feel anything for her. Why she listened to that asshole, she'd never know.
"So... our first date, yeah?" Her tone was playful as she grinned up at him. "It's my first date ever, actually." Matteo was her first in many aspects... not that she minded. He made her genuinely happy, and now that she knew he returned her feelings... she didn't want to let him go.
Her small frame was leaned against his as they over looked the water. However, the heat from the tub, the alcohol, it was getting to the small Pheonix. "Want to blow off dinner and head to my room? We can hang out for a while... I have a feeling that dinner is just going to be a train wreck. Plus, I want a little more time with you."
Porcelain cheeks heated as she stood from the hot water, her thin fingers plucking up two towels so she could hand him one. After that, she wrapped the towel around her slim form and stepped from the water.
