How should the roleplay start, there's gotta be a reason for all the characters setting out to find the same treasures and gathering mercs. I'm thinking the highest authority of the kingdom, king or something like royalty gets kidnapped and/or sealed away and we need the stuff to get him/her back. Classic plot 'w'

oh noooo I meant that each master could OWN ten mercs, the amount of merc characters doesn't have a limit

You see the main problem with the old man joining your crew is this.

The old man is the complete opposite and I fear the old man will be killed by the boss
