VICTOIRE WEASLEY

Victoire smirked at Teddy's response, taking a few moments to think of what she wanted to reply with. She felt eyes on her once more, her friend still looking at her, as the blonde focused on the notebook. "Stop." She hissed in a playful manner, a faint blush coloring her cheeks. "I'm not doing anything." The girl whispered in surprise, which Victoire replied to with a roll of her eyes. Her friends were very mental sometimes. Luckily, the entire interaction went unnoticed by their professor, a ghost who simply continued with his lecture. Yes, and if you were a bird, you would think he was handsome too. She replied to Teddy, her answer a bit cheeky and straight to the point. Though Alaric was a very attractive bloke, she would never consider dating him, considering his attitude. He had many girls hanging on him anyway. Plus, the fifth year had her eyes on a certain seventh year with bright blue hair.

After her reply, Victoire went back to her notes, almost wanting to fall asleep, as Professor Cuthbert Binns continued with their History of Magic lesson. She had learned her second year what her Uncle George meant when he said the class was dull. The entire class would be asleep, though the ghost would simply continue on with the lecture at hand. Unfortunately, she did not have a choice, considering History of Magic was a core class that was mandatory for the O.W.Ls exams. She only wished that she would do well enough on the exam to pass, choosing to drop the class afterwards. It was a shame they would not get a more lively teacher, considering Professor Binns had a tenure due to him being a ghost.

ALARIC PLIMMSWOOD

Alaric smirked when the girls' eyes went red, knowing he had hit a spot. Brilliant. He thought to himself with a small smirk. "I'm not sure if I can do that." He admitted, continuing to block her path and knowing she would probably be late for her next class. "I'll admit that you intrigue me." He said simply, traces of a smug smile lingering on his attractive lips. He attempted to play the same game that he did with a lot of the birds at Hogwarts, wanting to up his game, since his charm did not work on her the first time. Her outburst in Defense Against the Dark Arts only made him more interested, as he was determined to win her over. No girl had No girl had ever turned the haughty boy down before, something he did not like. Nevertheless, Alaric Plimmswood was determined to have it good with Brinktonia Lupin by the winter holidays.

He raised an eyebrow when she asked about the conversation he had with Teddy. At the mention of their confrontation, the boy smirked arrogantly once more, remembering the male Lupin's anger at his words about having fun with his sister.
"What I say to your brother stays between him and I. It was harmless really." He stated with a smirk, continuing to watch the attractive girl in front of him. He only wondered if she would continue to pry at what happened. "Who said I was trying to gain your affections?" He challenged with a teasing simper, looking down at her and shrugging his shoulders.

Brink rolled her eyes as they went to her normal color and her hair went back to purple. She looked him over, she couldn't believe she was going to do it, she leaned against him, making him lean against the wall. She was pulling a Teddy. "Well," she let a smirk place on her lips, "I won't lie, I know exactly what affection you wish to gain from me." She placed a kiss on his lips, taking his attention while her looks changed to the young Pansy Parkinson, that she seen in year books, just to creep him out. "It won't happen." She said, pulling back so he could get a good look at her. She sent a wink before walking off to change back to her normal self. She laughed, hoping it did the trick as she whipped her mouth.

Teddy took his attention off the doodle he made on the word Werewolf. He knew exactly what essay he was going to do. He looked to the notebook and rolled his eyes before replying. "My sister doesn't seem to find him all that attractive," he chuckled, "You know what George says about being twins. We think a like." He sent with a smirk before looking at the time. Brink usually messaged him around this time in Potions. She loved Potions but she kind of knew everything already.

VICTOIRE WEASLEY

Victoire continued to pay attention in class, glancing at the enchanted notebook every couple of minutes. She tried to remain inconspicuous so both her friend and the professor would not notice, only successful with the latter individual. Unfortunately, her Gryffindor friend noted the frequent glances the blonde took toward the notebook, choosing to remain quiet and voice her opinions when they left the classroom. Their professor, however, remained clueless to the entire interaction, as he droned on about the First Wizarding War. A small smile appeared on Victoire's face when she saw that Teddy had written back, biting her lip to stop a snort from escaping her mouth. I'll be surprised if she doesn't hex Plimmswood by the second week of term. She wrote, sensing the tension between the DADA partners immediately in the corridor. She also knew of Brink's temper, knowing it would run out shortly.

She rolled her eyes at the twin thing, knowing that her Uncle George was right in that way. It always seemed like Brink and Teddy were very alike, perhaps even finishing each other's sentences.
I'm surprised you can't do that telepathy thing Muggles are always raving about. Victoire continued with a smirk, wondering how he would respond to that. Though she was a Pure-Blooded witch, the fifth year was exposed to many Muggle artifacts, considering her Aunt Hermione's parentage and Grandpa Weasley obsession with them. Despite her own fascination, she would never understanding the old man's liking for rubber ducks. She pushed those thoughts aside, hiding the notebook more and continuing to take notes in her real one.

ALARIC PLIMMSWOOD

Alaric raised an eyebrow when Brink leaned against him, his arm going around her waist automatically and holding her close. He was about to question her motives, though the bloke was intelligent and conceited enough to keep his mouth shut when a beautiful young woman had him pressed against a wall. He chuckled at her words and shrugged, holding her tighter around the waist and wondering what he would be able to get away with. Al closed his eyes when she leaned in, feeling her soft lips press against his. Just when he was about to kiss back, he felt something change and opened his eyes in horror. Standing before him, Brinktonia Lupin had used her wit to transform into a younger version of his mother. He frowned and let her go, shivering in slight disgust at the thought of kissing Pansy Parkinson. "Not bad, Lupin." He called after her with a slight chuckle, as she walked away, watching her go and making a mental note to run into her again later. There was no way he was letting those lips go.

Teddy glanced at the notebook, chuckling softly when he read both responses, he flipped the page to continue the conversation. The Weasleys had a charm that you say to the notebook to clear it out but he forgot it. "I am sure she will. Ginny will be all right ticked about this on the first day. I think the only thing that will keep their temper down is the fact Little James made Gryffindor." he admitted.

His mind started to wonder, he was always flirting with Victore and growing tired of her thinking it was just because he was a flirt. Of course only Brink knew his fancy for the little Veela.

Brink chuckled, "A pleasure to creep you out," she stated before walking into class late. She didn't try to come up with an excuse, what was she going to say? 'I had to snog a boy to get him to leave me alone.' She got to her seat, pulling both her notebooks out. She had two pages up to write her brother and Victore. "I had to pull a Teddy." She sent Victore.

"I think I got him to go away."

"Really? How?"

"You don't want to know Ted."

VICTOIRE WEASLEY

Victoire continued to take notes, fighting off sleep until her beloved Edward Lupin replied to her messages. She carefully pulled out her wand under the desk, muttering the charm to clear the page of the enchanted notebook. It was not like Professor Binns to get curious, though she did not want to take the chance. It would be simply embarrassing if she was caught. Well, Aunt Ginny has to know that you two had the best intentions. Plimmswood does seem like a piece of work, yeah? She wrote with attempted reason, though the blonde knew that her aunt's wrath was nothing to be in the way of. The fifth year was just lucky that she was rarely on the receiving end of it, unlike Teddy, Brink, Albus, James, and even Harry or little Lily on occasion. James is a Gryffindor if I've ever seen one. Victoire wrote with a smirk, knowing that spending time with their family would make the young boy a Gryffindor like the rest of them. It was rare for a Potter-Weasley not to be sorted into the lion house.

She hid the notebook again, glancing over at her friend's notes to catch up. The Gryffindor girl only rolled her eyes, knowing perfectly well what Victoire was up to. The Weasley girl gave her a playfully pleading look, and her friend sighed, scooting her notebook closer. Scribbling at top speed, she was able to catch up in no time. She decided to glance at the notebook once more, raising an eyebrow when she recognized a handwriting that was not Teddy's but Brink's on the next page. Victoire read the message carefully the female Lupin, sighing, as it reminded her of Teddy's flirtatious ways with women. She had it bad for him, yet watching him flirt with pretty girls in the castle did not help to soothe her heart. It only increased her reluctance to share her true feelings for the boy.
Did you simply snog a boy or go further than that? She wrote back with a teasing tone, though the possibility still lingered.

ALARIC PLIMMSWOOD

Alaric continued on his path when Brink left him, shaking his head and walking toward the Slytherin Common Room. He tried to clear his thoughts, focusing on the pretty lips he kissed, rather than the appearance of his mother. Though brief, Al had to admit that the kiss was quite pleasant, only making him want a bit more from her. Fortunately, he would have the opportunity to try again, given that the two were paired together for the term in Defense Against the Dark Arts. Bless Professor Nagleton. He thought to himself with a smirk, arriving at the door to the common area and saying the password. The portrait swung open, and he walked inside, making his way to one of the black, leather couches in the large room. He sat down comfortably with a content sigh, putting his feet up and waiting for a friend or two to arrive. His free period would be quiet, given a majority of students were still in class.

A few minutes later, his Slytherin friend, Thomas approached, sitting on the couch opposite him. Al looked over at him and smirked, giving him a nod of acknowledgement.
"We can have the Pitch tonight for practice." Thomas remarked, causing the dark-haired boy to chuckle in response. "Thanks, mate. I'll let the rest of the team know, and we can run a few drills. We'll have to host tryouts soon." Al stated afterwards, sitting up properly and looking at Thomas. "We need to crush Gryffindor for the Cup this year." He said seriously, a slow grin appearing on his formed lips. Thomas nodded in response, thinking something similar, as the two boys reclined to enjoy their time away from the classroom.

Brink read over what Victore sent, she was a bit displeased Victore assumed Teddy went farther than snogging. Teddy only been with three girls, two of them he was dating for what Teddy considered long and the other was after a drunk night when they won the cup one year. Besides, the bloody birch used a love spell on him to even get him that far. Luckily it was a Weasley love potion and they never lasted long. It was out of his system as soon as he ended up with a hang over. "Snogged... Plimmswood. I wanted to creep him out so I turned to his mother when I pulled back. I really hope it worked. God awful kisser." Brink lied. For a brief kiss they where actually soft...Dare she say nice? "You tell Teddy I will dye your hair green for a month." Teddy would have her head on a platter. He about killed her and his best mate Charlie Garter when he caught them snogging when they where secretly dating. They only kept it a secret because Charlie's brother Frankie fancied her. It was the biggest secret she kept from Teddy, which she wanted to tell him but Charlie knew exactly how Teddy would act either way. She could only imagine if he heard his sister was snogging the god awful Slytherin that pissed her off.

"Why? What did you do, Brinktonia?"

"Nothing bad. I swear."

"Solemnly?"

"Solemnly."

Teddy was scared what his sister done, and he hoped nothing that could just bring them more trouble. He decided to push thoughts aside and look over at him and Victore's conversation, "Not sure I can say the same for Alby." Not only was an ASP a snake but Albus was determined and down right passionate. Never have he seen someone so ambitious. Of course when he thinks of Albus as being a Slytherin he doesn't think his Godbrother would be at all 'bad'. Maybe be the one to change the face of Slytherin. "Do you have next class free? I have Hagrid but he never has class on the first day." He was probably tending to the dangerous animals before students where allowed near the cabin.

VICTOIRE WEASLEY

Victoire had to bite her lip hard after reading Brink's response, knowing it must have taken a lot for her female friend to kiss the bloke. She could practically see the tension radiating between them, and it was not a good kind. It had been interesting in the past, given they were on opposing Quidditch teams. What added to the strain was that they were in rival houses, now paired together for an entire term by the 'ingenious' Nagleton. She knew she was in for a lot of ranting, given that Brink would get very heated with the Slytherin. She would simply have to endure it, finding her own amusement in the topic at hand.

She raised an eyebrow at the portion about Plimmswood being an awful kisser. Though she was no Slytherin, Victoire thought the bloke would be charming enough to kiss. A peacock like that would have to be good at his game, otherwise he was completely delusional.
Is he really that bad at snogging? She wrote back with curiosity, though a teasing tone lingered in her writing. Yes, I promise not to tell Ted. She swore afterwards with a sigh, knowing Teddy would blow up if he found out. The male Lupin was already upset about what Alaric said about having fun with his sister, which meant the news of their snog would make it worse. She remembered the dreaded incident of when Brink secretly dated Charlie Garter, causing chaos between the twins. It was an experience she did not want to relive, given that she was torn between the two sides of her closest friends.

Victoire turned back the page, smiling when she saw Teddy's scrawl once more.
Who knows? Albus might surprise all of us. She noted, knowing her younger cousin did have the potential to be a good Slytherin. It was rare, though every so often, a Slytherin came along that made a difference. Hence young Al's middle name, as her Uncle Harry often remarked on the good deeds of one Severus Snape. Yes, I have a free period next. I'll meet you in the common room? She asked with a smile, hoping he would agree to her inquiry. Unless you fancy a walk by the lake. She added next, a faint blush coloring her pale cheeks.

ALARIC PLIMMSWOOD

Alaric relaxed and continued to enjoy his free period, dwelling on the Defense Against the Dark Arts homework every so often. Given it was only the first day of term, their homework wasn't piling up quite yet. Some time later, he sat with his eyes closed, running a few Quidditch drills in his head that would be useful for the team's practice. They had two players graduate last year: their Keeper and a Chaser, both of whom would need replacing. It would be nice to get the team together after a long holiday off. They definitely needed the practice if they were going to win the Quidditch Cup that year.

"Oi, Tom, what kind of game do you think Gryffindor will be playing this year?" Al asked, slowly opening his dark brown eyes and peering at his friend who sat opposite him. "Dunno, mate. It's the Lupins last year, just like ours. They aren't going to hand over the Cup easily." The Slytherin boy replied, knowing that Gryffindor would be their toughest opponent. Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw did not stand a chance against them with their pathetic teams, which only made the rivalry between the snakes and lions grow larger. "We'll get them, don't worry." Alaric said with a smirk, as a bit of practice, taunting, and luck would get them a long way. Getting involved with the Lupin girl would also help, as it would bring him multiple benefits. Not only would he have a pretty bird on his arm, but he would also throw off her Quidditch game, practically handing Slytherin the Cup before the first match.

Brink read over the messages, she pictured her friends blue eyes as they asked her to state the truth. Much like she hated lying to Teddy she hated lying to Victore too. "For how brief it was... It was nice." She admitted, biting her lip. She knew Alaric would just try to use her and that's what she hated most. "I won't let some bloke use me," it was hard enough to look Charlie in the eye after she found out he was cheating on her with a pretty little normal looking Ravenclaw. Still, the bloody noses he gained from Teddy and Frankie was worth it. Through time she forgave him. He was still a friend until he graduated the year before. She tore out a piece of paper and scrawled on it before turning it into an origami frog and telling it who to look for in the castle.

"Alaric Plimmswood,

Honestly, I can't tell you one reason at all why I am writing you, when I know it'll fuel ego. I have a Lupin feeling that you're just going to keep trying. I am writing you to point out I refuse to let someone use me. Rather it be for the Quidditch Cup, Sex, or anything else I refuse. I know you really don't care but I was used once before."
She refused to put in who or why he did it, she couldn't help she wasn't normal. Everyone should have been glad she didn't turn out to be a wolf. "Plimmswood, please, prove me wrong and leave me alone.

Sincerely,

Brink Lupin

P.S. I have Library after dinner if you wish to begin the project." She might as well plunge into her school work.

"What are you doing next class?"

"I got Hagrid. So, nothing. You?"

"Walking to the lake with Victore. I am tired of her thinking as if I don't care for her."

"She knows you do."

"As more than a friend, Brink."

Teddy couldn't believe what he sent both his sister and Victore. As the class ended he sent one word, "Lake." He got up, telling his partner they could start after dinner. He placed his things in his bag before he walked out, heading to the doors of the lake. It was a nice day the summer weather was still bright so he decided to enjoy it with the most prettiest flower. Victore. Okay, it may have been cheesy but he was raised by Harry and his father was Remus Lupin, okay? He quickly ran for the lake. He wanted to beat her there.

VICTOIRE WEASLEY

Victoire raised an eyebrow in surprise at Brink's reply, realizing that her suspicion was correct. The blonde reasoned that her elder friend would only lie if she were not keen on admitting how nice their kiss was. Plimmswood might be an arse, but at least you got a good snog out of it. She replied with a light smirk, glancing at Professor Binns every couple of minutes to make sure he did notice her lack of attention to the lecture. Victoire nodded internally in agreement with Brink's statement about letting a bloke use her. Fortunately, the fifth year witch had never experienced that situation, though it seems difficult enough seeing it in other people's eyes. She remembered consoling Brink after Charlie cheated on her with that sultry Ravenclaw. Ravenclaws were always meant to be the smart ones, though it seemed the Ravenclaw girl sunk her claws a bit deep in a bloke that wasn't hers to have.

I'm not going to let that happen to you again. Victoire wrote in determination, as her friend should not have to put up with that kind of scenario once more. It was simply unfair how blokes think they can take advantage like that sometimes. She liked to think that Teddy never did that, though she was always wary about him and girls. She didn't want to get hurt by telling him her true feelings. The class ended minutes later, and Victoire packed up her things, all the while begging her friend to let her copy notes. After a few minutes of pleading, her Gryffindor friend agreed, to which she replied with a smile. Exiting the History of Magic classroom, Victoire pulled out the enchanted notebook again, smiling at Teddy's request to meet at the Black Lake. She shoved the notebook in her bag and walked to the corridors quickly, making her way down the Grand Staircase and outside. Once there, she slowed considerably, suddenly getting nervous about spending some time alone with her beloved Teddy Lupin. If only the feelings were mutual.

As the fifth year approached the lake, she smiled upon seeing vibrant blue hair not too far ahead. Trying to compose herself, Victoire walked closer to Teddy, waving when she was close enough for him to see her.
"Hi." She said softly with a small smile, clutching her bag tightly and looking up at him. "Were your classes nearly as irritating and utterly boring as mine were?" She joked casually, bumping him with her side gently.

ALARIC PLIMMSWOOD

Alaric continued to lounge on the black, leather couch in the Slytherin Common Room for some time. As he relaxed, he continued to run Quidditch plays in his head, trying to base good ones on what the other teams typically ran. Tom continued to sit across from him, scrawling away in his notebook for quite some time. Al was beginning to think he went spot and was writing a sentimental letter to a girl he fancied. Just then, he was drawn from his thoughts when a second year Slytherin girl walked into the room, holding an origami frog in her small palms. He raised an eyebrow in curiosity, wondering if she folded it the Muggle way or knew some advanced magic to fold it perfectly. The little girl approached the seventh year timidly, and he sat up straight, smiling softly at her and giving her his attention.

"It says it's for you." She said softly, trying to avoid making eye contact with him. Al eyed the frog carefully, looking at the girl afterwards and nodding slowly. "Thank you." He replied casually, reaching out and taking the frog from her palms. She scurried away toward the Second Year Girl's Dormitory rather quickly, causing the seventh year bloke to chuckle to himself. It was his nature to flirt with any bird with legs and a nice face, but he felt nothing when he looked at the second year. She was simply far too young for his liking. Tom glanced at the paper curiously, and Al shrugged, unfolding it and looking down at the scrawl written on the paper. He lain down on the couch again, reading it carefully. As he read further, the smirk on his face grew larger, given that it was easy to sense Brinktonia Lupin's irritation with him. She was right: his ego definitely was fueled.

Despite his confidence, he did take notice of the hint that she was used once before. He wondered what happened for a moment, though he decided not to press her on the issue. Frankly, he was not very interested in all the messy details of the unfortunately situation.
Instead of acknowledging this misfortune, however, he simply tore a piece of parchment out of his notebook, thinking of what to write in return.

I'll see you in the Library after dinner.

That was all he choose to write on the piece of parchment, wondering how she would respond to just that bit. Of course, purposely ignoring the rest of her message would anger her, yet Alaric was intrigued by this reaction he never got from any other birds. Usually, they just fell over him and did whatever he asked. Using his wand, the Slytherin boy transformed the piece of parchment into an origami bird, making a special note to tell it whom to find. He got up and opened the painting to the Slytherin Common Room, letting the bird go and closing the door after he watched it flutter down the dungeon corridor.

Teddy smiled, seeing the blonde in front of him. He loved how she tried to joke with him. He grew attached to her. "How's my favorite Blondie?" He teased.

He walked up to her, giving her a soft hug. "Class was alright," he pulled back holding her at arms length. His hair went pink. "Thank you for meeting me."

How was he going to go about this? Can he really share his feelings with someone? Not to mention he grew up with her family. Face it, Bill didn't really like him in the first place. He let go, letting that sink in. "I'm... I'm sorry." Her parents would hate him even more, they thought he wasn't going anywhere in his life. He wasn't worthy of her (Brink will slap him for thinking that). "Victore, I wanted to be really sweet. I even bought a Portable Romance Box from George and Ron's shop." He turned away and started blabbing. He was going on and on how stupid he was. How Bill was right. How much of an idiot he was for even thinking this might work. How much he liked her. In short he started talking to himself, he always ranted when he got nervous. His hair was yellow.

Brink was walking up towards the stairs when the bird hit her. She read the simple statement. "What? Can't meet me out here to say it?" She rolled her eyes, marking over it. "Fine." she slipped it through the crack of the painting before she headed up the stairs. He wasn't going to quit.

She sighed, she hoped Teddy was doing okay. She knew Bill didn't think highly of him and Teddy cared so much for Victore that he would let it affect his decision. "Teddy, don't let it change your decision."

VICTOIRE WEASLEY

Victoire had to try hard to keep a blush from creeping onto her pale cheeks. His favorite Blondie. She thought to herself, though she feared he meant it in a purely platonic way. Another thought entered her head, wondering if it was simply a pickup line he used with many blonde birds he saw around the castle. Of course, the fifth year wanted to believe that this was different. They were much closer than that and far beyond resorting to cheesy pickup lines around each other. She sighed inwardly when he hugged her, automatically returning the gesture and resting her head on his chest. In the process, she caught a waft of his scent and almost melted right then and there, knowing it would appear in her Amortentia in Potions as usual. Moments later, Victoire let go with reluctance, not wanting to seem keen on holding him forever. "Remind me why I'm taking History of Magic again?" She asked with a smirk, wanting to lighten the mood.

It was then she noticed the pink color of his hair, biting her lip softly and gazing at it for a few moments. It gave her hope, yet she was still afraid to voice her true feelings.
"Of course, Ted. I'm happy to be here with you." She replied to his gratitude with a bright smile. Victoire raised an eyebrow in confusion when he apologized out of the blue, wondering what he was going on about. When he turned away and began to babble, she could easily tell that he was nervous about something. It seemed to be a habit of his whenever he was very anxious. The blonde saw his hair turn to match her own, and she stepped forward, placing a gentle hand on his arm. "Ted, are you alright?" She asked with concern, looking up at him curiously.

ALARIC PLIMMSWOOD

When his free period ended, Alaric packed his messenger bag before saying a quick goodbye to Tom. He swung the back over his shoulder, getting up and exiting the Slytherin Common Room for his next class: Potions with the Ravenclaws. Tom had dropped the class after their fifth year due to his failing grade in the subject. Though Al would never admit it, he was genuinely interested in the dungeon class. As great as he was in Quidditch, the bloke needed a backup plan, in case going to play for Puddlemere or Yorkshire fell through. He thought he might become an Auror or a Healer, though, if so, though he would need outstanding N.E.W.T.s to make up for his decent O.W.L.s. At times, he regretted not showing any effort, as he did have a potential for greatness.

He entered the Potions room, nodding to a few Slytherin cohorts he recognized and sitting next to his mate, Levi.
"Oi, mate. I'm working on the project tonight with Lupin." He announced, earning a chuckle in response from his dorm-mate. "Careful with that one. She might hex you, if you even look at her wrong." Levi replied with a smirk, shaking his head and thinking to their time on the Quidditch field. "I'll take my chances." Al replied with a shrug, determined to win her over by the first match of the season.

Teddy looked to Victore, god did he want to kiss her. His hair went pink, he calmed himself to cup her small round cheek in his hand. "Yes," he sighed, "Victore, I get I am a big flirt. I get we have known each other sense we were small. I know your father doesn't think highly of me..." He sighed, raping his thumb on her cheek bone. He has always liked her and he wanted her to know.

He took a deep breath and placed a kiss on her soft lips, after the short kiss he reached to her ear to speak softly. "I really like you, Victore Weasley." He meant that with his hole being. Every time he touched her his hair would change colors, even just for a small moment in time. He didn't just like this Weasley girl. He loved her.

Brink made her way up to the Common Room. She could go help Hagrid. With that thought in mind she took off towards the small cottage. Hagrid didn't let his class come on the first day but Brink and Teddy often helped. "Oi, Hagrid!" She called as Hagrid petted his Hippogriff.

"Oi! Brink! No class fer me."

"I know, may I stay and help?"

"I suppose. Yer Godfath'r 'Arry helped me often."

"I know, you told me last year. Hagrid, how can I get a boy to leave me alone?"

"Wanna use Fluffy?"

"Um, no..."

VICTOIRE WEASLEY

Victoire watched in awe when she saw Teddy's hair turn pink once more, her heart beating fast in her chest. Her breath hitched in surprise when he cupped her small, round cheek. The blonde's skin instantly warmed underneath his touch, and she felt a blush creep onto her cheeks moments later. She listened to his words carefully, wondering where he was going with this explanation. It was no secret that he was a huge flirt. Practically of the girls of Hogwarts, especially Gryffindors, knew about his antics. Despite that fact, Victoire always saw something very special in the boy she's practically known since birth. She nodded her head slowly when Teddy mentioned her father's disdain for the metamorphamagus. She never truly understand why Bill Weasley was so opposed to their budding friendship throughout their youth. "You shouldn't have to worry about my dad." She murmured softly, watching him carefully.

When he kissed her, Victoire felt like she was on cloud nine, her eyes fluttering to a close, as she returned his kiss. Though rather short, it was one of the purest kisses she had ever experienced. Her entire being shivered with delight when he confessed his true feelings for her, and she opened her eyes to look up at him.
"I really like you, Edward Lupin. A lot more than like, actually." She breathed out gently, choosing to use his given name to express the seriousness of the moment. At her revelation, her cheeks went red once more, though not out of embarrassment. She felt blissful.

ALARIC PLIMMSWOOD

Alaric listened to the Potions professor while he lectured them on Wiggenweld Potion, a healing potion with the power to awaken an individual in a magically-induced slumber. He took notes a bit carelessly, knowing he would be able to get the proper information from a classmate in the Slytherin Common Room. Though he was inattentive during the lecture, Al was genuinely interested in putting together the potion afterwards. It was one of the only joys he experienced when doing schoolwork, as one wrong ingredient in a different quantity could change the entire experiment. Precision and accuracy was key, something he learned on the Quidditch field when they ran plays. If one's teammate wasn't near the targeted range when the Quaffle was thrown, they risked losing the ball to the opposing team, something they wanted to avoid.

After Professor Dotson finished the lecture, the students got right to work.
"I'll get some of the things we need from the cupboard." Al stated to Levi, whom he would be working with for a majority of the term. His friend replied with a nod before looking at their procedure once more. Moving to the cupboard to get their supplies, the seventh year Slytherin attempted to locate Horklump juice, Flobberworm mucus, honeywater, and some of the other ingredients their potion required. He worked diligently, showing his potential for once. Unlike in most of his classes, Alaric Plimmswood did not mind excelling in Potions.

Teddy grinned from ear to ear hearing the beautiful blonde speak to him like that. Of course she wouldn't care that Bill liked him or not, even though he would always worry over that. He got in trouble, he had no real guidance on how someone should act. Harry ran off and went to be dangerous every chance he got. He put his hands on both side of her face as he spoke quietly, "Don't call me Edward." He reached and gave her a much sweeter and longer kiss. He liked being called Teddy and being called Edward made him think he was in trouble, even though it was to express the serious matter he still corrected her jokingly. When he finally pulled back he pulled a small box from his pocket. "Enlarge," he through it in the air and in a moment a romantic picnic was placed in the soft grass. "Lets start this year off fresh, yes?"

Brink helped Hagrid, he continued to joke about Fluffy. "Who is the boy that is bothering ya?" "Hagrid..." She looked to the giant man and sighed, "Alaric Plimmswood." Hagrid gave her a very confused look so she went on, "Slytherin? He plays Quidditch. He is rather smart but doesn't act like it what so ever." Hagrid gave a look like he understood who he was but confused with what Brink was saying about him. "I tried to scare him off. I turned to his mother, for gods sake, and that stubborn boy still isn't wanting to quit." "Bri'ktonia, do you fancy this boy?" Hagrid asked her and gained a scoff. "As if! I don't care if he is handsome he is a stubborn prat." "And your not?" "I'm not a prat! He brought up my family when I clearly asked him not to!"

VICTOIRE WEASLEY

Victoire smiled sweetly when she felt Teddy's hands on either side of her face, her pale eyes boring into his gently. She nodded slowly in response to his request, her eyes fluttering to a close once more when he gave her a longer kiss. Her hands went around his waist, and she gladly returned the kiss with a pleasant sigh. "I'll only call you Edward when you know you're in trouble." The fifth year teased against his soft lips, their lips still connected with love. When Teddy pulled away, Victoire raised a curious eyebrow when he produced a small box from his pocket. She knew it was a magical device, though she had never seen anything like it. Not even in the shop owned by her Uncles George and Ron. The blonde chuckled in surprise when Teddy enlarged the box to reveal a romantic picnic laid out on the grass. "Ted, this is absolutely brilliant." She complimented with a bright smile, looking up at him.

The Gryffindor girl took his hand, moving toward the picnic and gently sitting down.
"I'm sure my mother and I can keep my father at bay. Sometimes I feel like he has a wand up his arse whenever you're around me." She smirked softly, knowing Fleur had Bill Weasley wrapped around her little finger. Being the eldest child, Victoire also had some weight of her own with her father, given that she was the first child he helped bring into the world. "Even if he does protest, I don't care." She remarked seriously, gazing at Teddy for a few moment before looking to see what picnic items were prepared.

ALARIC PLIMMSWOOD

Alaric continued to work diligently in his Potion class, returning to the cupboard a few more times for items, such as Chizpurfle fangs, Boom Berry juice, mint, and Moondew drops. Once the Slytherin pair had all their ingredients, Al returned to their station, looking at what was laid before them. "Oi," he said suddenly, looking at Levi, as he had a random thought. "I just remembered Tom said we have the pitch tonight for practice. I promised Lupin I'd met her in the Library after dinner." He mused to his friend, who only shook his head and chuckled. "I'd say that's the first time you've ever forgotten Quidditch practice because something else - or should I say someone else - is on your mind instead." Levi smirked, causing Al to scowl a bit and turn back to the cauldron in front of them. "I'll just tell Lupin we have to reschedule." He decided with a shrug before returning to the potion.

After thoughts of Quidditch and Brinktonia Lupin left his mind, Al began to focus on the potion at hand. He added the salamander blood until the potion turned red, reading more of the instructions, while Levi stirred the potion until it turned orange. They continued with this routine, minding to add the ingredients in the right order and watching for various colors and smells. The Quidditch captain knew they couldn't mess up, given how impressed Dotson would be, if they brewed the potion successfully. Considering his large ego, Al was looking to be praised where he could be, especially if he exceeded expectations. There were really three sectors where he was usually commended: Potions, Quidditch, and anything pertaining the birds of Hogwarts.

Teddy chuckled, he could live with being called Edward when he was in trouble. "I got the box from Ron and George." He always tried out the new inventions. He will never touch a love spell. A bird used that on him once, it was horrid. He was more than happy to sit with her.

Hearing her talk about her father liking him made him feel bad, "Don't defy your father for me. You only have one." He placed his forehead to hers, smiling softly. He wasn't letting her go either, "If I have to I'll shape up after today. I'll show your father. I can be someone." He promised. He wanted to be with Victore. "In fact, I want to be a D.A.D.A. Teacher."

After a while Brink made her way back to the castle. The hour would be up soon, she was half way up the staircase, when a group of Slytherin boys, and a boyish looking girl, was harassing her. The girl held up the note for Al, apparently he never picked up by the door.

"Leave me alone," she called, her hair going red. Two of the stronger ones grabbed her. "You dirty, slimey, salamanders! Let go of me!"

VICTOIRE WEASLEY

Victoire's heart melted when Teddy chuckled, hearing it as sweet music to her ears. It was one of the best sounds she'd ever heard, only second to hearing his voice. She raised an eyebrow when he mentioned getting the box from her Uncles George and Ron, glad that it came out well like a majority of their inventions. Their love potions were always successful, yet their possibilities scared her. There were times, however, when their creations went terribly wrong, and many people were involved in the cleanup process. Despite their antics, the blonde loved going to their shops in Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade. She was always happy to see the success her family was making, even in the void of Fred Weasley's absence.

She rested comfortably against Teddy's chest, thinking of how lucky she was to have him. She looked up at him gently when he said not to defy her father, nodding slowly and taking his hand.
"I'll defy him, if that shows him how much I care about you." She murmured softly when a smile, looking into his eyes, as he pressed his forehead against hers. Her arms wrapped around his neck, and she remained close to his body, letting her eyes flutter to a close. "You'll always be someone to me." She admitted earnestly, opening her eyes and staring at him. "Never forget that, okay?" Victoire spoke next with a questioning tone, wanting him to know how much she believed in his ability to succeed. "If you want to teach D.A.D.A., that's brilliant, Ted. If not, I'm sure you'll find your passion, and I can wait for you to find it." Victoire declared firmly.

ALARIC PLIMMSWOOD

Alaric and Levi finished the Potion with time to spare, earning praise from Professor Dotson on their work. A large smirk was firmly planted on the former's face, as he enjoyed being commended often. Since they finished early, they were allowed to clean up, pack up their things, and leave early, after their professor told them what homework would be due their next class. The two boys decided to play a round of Gobstones in the Clock Tower Courtyard before their next class. Heading up the staircase, Al raised an eyebrow in surprise when he heard a commotion up ahead. Walking further with Levi in tow, he chuckled softly when he saw Brinktonia Lupin being harassed by a group of Slytherin boys.

"Oi, what's going on here?" He smirked lightly with a friendly demeanor, recognizing some of the Slytherins on sight. "If you're going to mess with someone, pick a Hufflepuff who won't fight back." He joked softly, shaking his head and making closer to the group. "Why don't you lot just let this one go?" Al suggested, making eye contact with his housemates before his eyes flickered to Brink's for a moment.

Teddy chuckled, he loved how she always worried about making him happy. She always made him happy and she didn't know it. "Only my sister knows, not anyone else. You know my dad was a teacher, right?" He put his arms closely around her.

Teddy pushed his hair back, it was a light blue color due to his elevating feelings. He smiled, kissing her forehead. "I could be like this all day."

Like a good little cronies the boys to let her go, "Al, we spot this letter she wrote you," the girl cronies said. For some reason Brink's angered turned to the reason she wrote him, because of him. Now her eyes went red as she grabbed the letter and shoved it into his chest. "If you would give up I wouldn't have to send a note. Forget about tonight, I'll get a new partner some how." Brink spat, she was so angry a bunch of legless.. or is it armless?... lizards made her look weak. She turned to get up the stairs and away from them and everyone else.

Brink wasn't sure where exactly she was going, she was following the moving staircases, just wanting to get far away. This is all his fault! Or... She wasn't sure of she honestly felt that way but she was a strong girl and looked weak! Her! Brinktonia Lupin! She did not need to be saved.

Victoire sighed pleasantly in Teddy's embrace, resting against his chest. She smiled with satisfaction in feeling his strong chest against her back, knowing his various Quidditch practices and matches were paying off. She closed her eyes and loved the moment, enjoying the gentle Scottish breeze, as they sat near the Black Lake. It was one of the many reasons she loved returning to Hogwarts each September. Not only did she attend magical classes, she got to experience Quidditch, the House Cup, and everything else the castle had to offer. The blonde opened her eyes minutes later when Teddy mentioned his father, raising an eyebrow and looking at him curiously. "Thank you for sharing that with me. I'm sure you'll make a brilliant teacher." The fifth year murmured lightly.

She leaned in slowly, kissing his lips gently for a minute or so. Her cheeks reddened in embarrassment, and she pulled away gently, looking into his eyes softly.
"I'm sure your father would be very proud of you." She announced moments later, gently stroking his cheek with the back of her hand. Her Uncle Harry always spoke so highly of Remus Lupin and his late wife, Nymphadora. Though they were gone, their memories and spirits lived through those who survived the Second Wizarding War. They gave their lives so witches, wizards, and Muggles alike could live in peace.

"I would love to stay here all day, but I'd fancy not receiving a Howler from mum, if we got caught by Professor McGonagall." She murmured, shuddering at the possibility of how mortifying the experience would be.

ALARIC PLIMMSWOOD

Alaric crossed his arms and stared at his Slytherin comrades, raising an eyebrow when the girl mentioned a letter. "Oi, what letter?" He asked in confusion, his eyes flickering to Brink moments later. His eyes widened in surprise when Brink's eyes went red, wondering whether it was just his imagination and a trick of the light or a metamorphmagus shift. He calmed down and chuckled when the Gryffindor girl shoved the note in his chest. He smirked and shook his head about giving up, knowing there was no way he was doing that. "I don't give up when I see something I like." He murmured to her, noting that she did not thank him for intervening. He looked her over as she continued to fume, wondering what she looked like when she wasn't annoyed with him.

After she stormed away, Al looked at Levi and smirked, telling him that they'd have to play Gobstones later in the day.
"Lupin, wait up!" He called loudly, walking after her and shoving his hands in his pockets. The charming seventh year let her storm ahead, giving her some space, as she walked up the Grand Staircase in random directions. A few minutes later, he moved closer to her, deciding to risk a conversation and a few pick-up lines. When he was close enough, he slowed down to a leisurely pace, walking beside her. "Listen, I don't think Nagleton is going to let us switch partners, so I need to know what has your knickers in a twist." He voiced, looking over at her and waiting for an answer.
