September 2nd

Yesterday the Lupin twins had a blast, showing their adopted little brother the train. Teddy, more than Brinktonia, was ecstatic that James Sirius Potter would be a Gryffindor with the rest of them. Brink got to spend some time with Victorie Weasley, someone she grew up with and a good friend for being younger. The twins where huddled with James giving him complicated and hard directions to his classes. "Do you think you got that Jamie?" Teddy asked. "No, Teddy, he goes left on the second left." Brink corrected looking at her blue haired brother while hers stayed purple.

Brink was looking forward to the year, it was their last year before Teddy went off to become a teacher and her help Uncle George (and Uncle Ron) at the shop while she worked for the Daily Prophet. She was still a Chaser, and she would also be the Co-Captain for Quidditch while her brother, the Seeker, would be Captain. Honestly, everyone saw it coming. The twins where attached at the hip. "Where's your first class dear sister?" Teddy asked her, watching as she glance at her schedule, "Well, dear brother, I have DADA with Slytherins."

"Well, isn't that lovely. I have fifth year Deviation." Teddy grumped, he had to get a class because McGonagall didn't like the Lupin twins having a free hour. Unlike his sister Teddy felt the weight of his father, mother, and godfather on his shoulders. He felt that he had to live up to all their expectations but at the same time he did have a little Sirius Black in him (even if its only as a distant cousin), so he had a habit of causing trouble.

VICTOIRE WEASLEY

On the previous day, Victoire enjoyed the train ride to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry with her friends. She spent a considerable amount of time with Teddy and Brinktonia Lupin, coaching James on the castle and what to do when he arrived. When the twins tried to sway him with their antics, she was the one to pull him in the right direction to make sure he did not gain frequent detentions. The blonde could already tell that her younger cousin had some of the twin's tomfoolery in his blood, in addition to that her Uncle George possessed. She was told that George's twin, Fred, had been the same way, which made her wonder if Brink and Teddy were just the younger version of the two troublemakers. Nevertheless, she loved being around them for more reasons than one.

She had woken up early on September 2nd, deciding to take a walk in the corridors after dressing in her robes. It was great to be back at Hogwarts for her fifth year, a home away from Shell Cottage that she enjoyed going to each year. After her leisurely walk in the corridors, Victoire made her way down to the Great Hall, smirking lightly in seeing Teddy, Brink, and James in the large room. She sighed and walked over, standing beside them and resting a hand on her hip.
"I hope you two aren't poisoning his young mind." She reprimanded, though she was two years younger than the pair. "I think I'll be barmy with all these O.W.Ls this year." She gushed, knowing the twins would be preparing for NEWTs. "Have you two got anything interesting in your timetable?" She asked offhand, thanking Professor Longbottom for her own timetable upon receiving it.

ALARIC PLIMMSWOOD

Alaric sat with a smirk on his chiseled face, while he lounged on one of the sofas in the Slytherin Common Room. His dark brown eyes scanned the room, often settling on groups of girls and giving them a casual wink. He often earned a wave or an eruption of giggles in return, something he relished. His mates chuckled at his antics, something he merely shrugged at with a grin. He had charm, and he knew it. "I'll see you lot later." He remarked, standing and straightening his robes. Exiting the common room, Al made his way through the Dungeons up to the Entrance Hall. From there, he entered the Great Hall, smirking in delight upon seeing the floating candles once more. There were one of the many things he loved about the castle. He made a beeline for the Slytherin table, searching for his Head of House to receive his timetable. He nodded lightly upon receiving it, glancing down at the paper in hoping he had good classes. "DADA with the Gryffindors." He muttered in response to seeing what his first class of the day would be.

The twins looked up, blue hair went to purple and purple hair went to blue, "Us?" Brink asked, blinking innocently, "I believe you mean my brother, what do you expect us to do with him?" She asked, tapping her cheek as she went, 'tsk tsk'. Yeah, Brink wasn't dramatic at all. She looked to James, who stopped paying attention and watching girls walk past giggling to themselves. "Lets hope your better with girls than your father, hm?" She heard of Harry's bad experience with women prior to Ginny.

Brink moved her attention away, her twin now looking at girls and sighed. "Here a beautiful Veela and they watch normal witches," she teased. She knew of her brother's thoughts when it came to Victorie. "I have DADA, I should really be going. Professor Nagleton (OC) doesn't like me much." She stated before messing James' hair and tapping her brother as she walked away. "See you after class Miss Vic." She called out over her shoulder as the blue hair went orange.

Teddy rolled his eyes at his sister, "I am the good one Vicki." He said with a chuckle as he handed over his timetable. When his twin pointed something out, that is actually not well known, he looked to James. He noticed he was watching Neely Headless Nick talk to a ghost girl, behind the group of girls.

It took a tap to bring himself back to reality. He blinked and looked to his sister running off and Victorie still standing there. He felt bad, he wasn't watching girls but there was no way she wouldn't believe it. Teddy was known to get along with the ladies... With a sigh his hair went purple back to blue. "What do you have doll face?"

VICTOIRE WEASLEY

Victoire smirked lightly when the twins exchanged hair colors, looking at them curiously with a delicate chuckle.
"I find that hard to believe, Brink." She retorted with a smile, glancing at her and then at Teddy afterwards. Her eyes lingered on Teddy for a moment before she cleared her throat, realizing that she was staring and looking away. She could not help but continue to smile, hoping she had gotten away with her stolen glance. She might only be fifteen, but the blonde had begun to feel something more for the male Lupin. She did not know how to describe it yet, though she knew it was something special. Victoire came back to reality when Brink remarked that James was watching a passing group of girls. "I'm sure he will if he spends enough time around your brother." She remarked with a soft laugh and a shrug. "Plus, he has us to teach him what girls fancy." She reasoned with a snicker.

"All blokes seem to have an interesting taste in women." She muttered, a lesson she was beginning to learn herself. "See you after class, Brink." Victoire called in return, waving to Brink, though she had her back to the group. Upon hearing Teddy's statement about being good, she turned to him and rolled her eyes. "I'm sure you are, Ted." She simpered, taking the timetable from his hands. She looked at it curiously, raising an eyebrow at some of the classes he was taking. After a few moments, she went to hand it back to him, though it was clear that his mind was in another world. She bit her lip lightly, resisting the urge to laugh at his daydreaming. She blinked when his hair changed colors once more, feeling a small flutter in her stomach when he called her doll face. "I have Herbology with Professor Longbottom." She murmured with a smug smile, regaining a bit of her confidence.

ALARIC PLIMMSWOOD

Alaric sighed in reading his timetable once more, already knowing that NEWTs would be the bane of his existence. "Just brilliant." He muttered under his breath in the most sarcastic tone he could manage. He pocketed the timeline in his rooms, exiting the Great Hall in pursuit of the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom. Swinging his bag over his shoulder, Al made his way toward the Grand Staircase, walking up to the third floor and sauntering to Classroom 3C. Entering the room, he raised an eyebrow, seeing that he was one of the only students in the room. He clicked his tongue and made his way toward the right side of the room, sitting alone at a desk and waiting for his friends to arrive. The only thing that would make the class bearable would be the presence of his mates.

Brink made her way up to DADA, "Honestly, putting these two houses together in Dark Arts should be illegal." She muttered to herself as she walked through the class, some Gryffies walking in with her. Her hair went back to purple as she smiled at one of them that wished her a good year. She glanced around the classroom, she spotted Alaric in the far corner. She didn't look too long, she already knew him as a Beater.

"Sit down Lupin," Professor Jameson Nagleton said, he was a slightly graying haired man with box framed glasses. He was barely the age of fourty-five and many girls found the man to be handsome. Brink found him obnoxious, than again he was a Slytherin in school. He sat on his desk, making sure Brink sat exactly where he could see her, "Thank you Merlin I didn't end up with the Lupin twins." He mumbled as he looked over the paper in his hands. Once his students piled in they all sat silently, waiting for him to speak, "Now, I have everyone's attention. I decided to change things up this year. Instead of house points I will pair you all up, with another house, your group will be given points through the year and I will split the points down the middle for the winners." He said with a slight smirk before naming names off, "Lupin, Brinktonia and Plimmswood, Alaric sit where Lupin is sitting," he said before continuing to name off names. Brink sighed, watching the girl next to her walk off to allow Alaric to sit. "Remember, work together."

Teddy nodded, smiling at the pretty Veela in front of him. "I have to go to the towers or else I would walk you, doll face. He said itching his head, "Tell Neville I said hi." He only calls him Professor in class, it was hard to stop calling him Neville with how much he been in his life. He gave a slight hug to Victorie before waving as he left, directing James to class.

Getting to the towers made him feel odd, he heard so much from Aunt Hermione that he thought the Divination Professor was an all right nut job. Not to mention his whole attention was on the one girl he needed out of his head. Bill would kill him if not his Godfather. He sat in the back, as class began to start and she began talking about the tea leaves.

Victoire smiled in return, looking up at Gryffindor boy with blue hair that she admired.
"That's alright. I'm sure your Professor would mind if you're late. I'll let you walk me another time." She offered with a shrug, though the prospect of him walking her to class made her heart beat faster. She smirked when he referred to their Herbology teacher by his first name, as he was a very close family friend. At first, the blonde found it strange to have him as her Head of House, though she adjusted to the idea soon enough. She smiled when Teddy hugged her, returning his soft hug and waving afterwards. "I hope you enjoy your first classes, James!" She called, as Teddy ushered her younger cousin out of the Great Hall.

After they left, the fifth year Gryffindor made her way out as well, arriving in the Entrance Hall. Making her way up the Grand Staircase, Victoire took a shortcut to Herbology by cutting through a few corridors, instead of walking around outside. She sighed with delight when the Herbology greenhouses were in sight, walking toward Greenhouse 5 where her class would be that term. Opening the door, she smiled in seeing Professor Longbottom, sending a smirk in his direction. She took an empty place on his right side, waiting for a few of her Gryffindor friends, as well as the Hufflepuffs they were paired with, to join.

ALARIC PLIMMSWOOD

Alaric smirked when his Slytherin friends showed up, making some room, so one of them could sit next to him. "Can you believe we're paired with this lot?" He scoffed, glancing over at the Gryffindors beginning to arrive in the classroom. He raised an eyebrow when a flash of purple hair entered the room, recognizing the girl it belonged to as a Gryffindor Chaser. With some thought, he also remembered her brother, the two of them being stars for their House Team. Al chuckled inwardly, thinking that even with their skills, the siblings could not match the talent his own House possessed. It was a shame they were not sorted into Slytherin, combining their abilities with his own to be unstoppable on the Quidditch Pitch.

He began to pay attention once more when Professor Jameson Nagleton told a student to sit down, barely lifting his head to see whom it was. The professor caught his interest even more when he mentioned the pairing opportunity.
"Well, this is about to be a load of rubbish." He murmured to his friend beside him, causing the boy to laugh quietly in response. Upon hearing his name, he sighed, realizing that he would be paired with the purple haired Chaser. "Just great." He muttered under his breath, throwing his friends a look and rising from his seat. "I'm sure this is a brilliant idea, Professor." He said with a sarcastic tone, not caring about the snickers or gasps he received in speaking so boldly. The seventh year sauntered across the room, sitting next to Brink and putting his things on the table. "Hi." He said curtly, glancing at his partner before slouching in his chair.

Teddy was holding his head like a mad man. This teacher was all out nuts! She spazzed out, twice, then acted like nothing happened. No wonder his aunt thought she was a crack job. All she did was talk and talk about things that made no sense what so ever. "Professor!" Teddy finally rose his hand.

"Yes dear boy?" She asked looking him over, she never had him in class and no was was he a fifth year. "Your Remus Lupin's son, correct?"

"Erm, yeah, Teddy." She then jumped to a new subject. That was it. Zilch.

With a grown he pulled out his notepad and quill. It was Uncle George's invention. As long as someone had a notebook enchanted like Teddy's they could pass notes in class. So, who did he decide to bug? Victorie. Dear Vicky.... Save me. -Ted He hoped she was having better classes than he was.

"Charmed I'm sure," Brink said dryly as her hair went red, to show her anger and irritation. She knew Al from Quidditch, he was pretty good but arrogant and annoying. She grabbed out her notebook as she looked up at the board as notes appeared.

She was smart, like her father. She was studious when she felt like she had to be. She also could be extremely lazy. "I refuse to do all the work." She laid out there.

VICTOIRE WEASLEY

Victoire paid attention to Professor Longbottom as he lectured, tapping her foot impatiently and wanting to get out of class. It was not that she did not like Herbology, but rather, she wanted classes to be over for the day. She was eager to sit on one of the plush red couches in the Gryffindor Common Room before diving into her homework. She cupped her chin, resting her elbow on the desk and looking up at him. Her enchanted notebook sat under her real one, which she glanced at occasionally to see if anyone wrote to her. After about the fifth glance, the blonde smirked in seeing a message from Teddy.
Have you had enough of Divination already? Aunt Hermione told you that class was rubbish. - Vic. She replied, feeling pretty satisfied with her answer. It was no surprise in her family that her aunt thought the professors who taught Divination were frauds.

ALARIC PLIMMSWOOD

Alaric chuckled softly at Brinktonia's ironic tone, glancing at her hair as it turned red. "Something tells me you aren't very happy to see me." He hinted with a smirk, glancing over at her and continuing to lounge in his chair. He looked at their professor once more, as he continued to read off pairs, laughing lightly in seeing whom some of his mates were paired with. "The bloke certainly didn't want to make it easy for us." He remarked aloud for Brink to hear. When the notes appeared, he took out his notebook, beginning to take them lazily. The charming brunette knew that he could easily get them from another Slytherin in their class. He looked to his left when Brink stated that she refused to do all the work, raising his eyebrow and looking her over. "I suppose that's alright. I don't trust you to do all the work anyway when my grade is at risk." He remarked rather arrogantly with a smile.

This was meant to be my free period. I'm not allowed one, apparently, so I got stuck here. Thinking about going to herbology, at least then I could tease Professor Nev. He responded, he too felt confident in his answer. He never took that class for a reason, Astrology he would. He enjoyed Astrology. His sister took Professor Nut Job's class, fifth year, she actually enjoyed it.

Merlin was he ready to go to the commons, laugh with some of his mates and do his homework. Not that people knew he actually done his homework, if he didn't Ginny would send a Howler if not Grandmother Molly. He debated on writing his sister, but knowing her she was taking notes.

Brink's hair went bright red before settling back to purple, many people thought it was distracting and at times it was. "Why don't you keep my hair out of this, hm?" She said with a roll of her eyes that couldn't decide on what color they wanted to be at the moment before settling for her natural bluish-green. "It's possible that, not letting me do your work, is a smart thing. I tend to forget things and change my answer." She said returning her smirk before Professor Nagleton asked for the class to stop arguing, they didn't seem to be the only one arguing.

"Alright," Nagleton cleared his throat, "Two days from now, first thing in the morning, I want a thousand word essay on the Wizarding War," a student had the guts to ask what that had to do with DADA, "Allow me to finish Mr. Craine," he cleared his throat, "Thousand word essay on how your opposite house was like before the war and how it changed after the Dark Lord was killed. Even the way they presume themselves is different if you think about that. Work with your partners, they can give you information like you can return it." He smirked, "Example lets say Mr. Slade and Mr. Craine where partners, Mr. Craine lied to Mr. Slade about the Slytherins. He will receive the grade, no Mr. Slade. Mr. Slade gets Mr. Craine's grade." He heard groans and chuckled. "It's to get a better look on inner defense rather than magical defense."

"If I recall the women were whores," Brink mumbled to herself, "and the men where selfish prats."

VICTOIRE WEASLEY

Victoire giggled at his words, biting her lip and glancing at Professor Longbottom to make sure he did not hear here. The man continued with his lecture, giving no indication that he heard her sudden outburst. If he did hear, Neville chose not to voice it in front of the entire class, something the blonde was grateful for.
You know how McGonagall feels about students having a free period. 'It's a waste of our academic potential.' She replied with a smirk, loosely quoting their Headmistress' words with the last bit. She raised an eyebrow at his mention of Herbology, wondering why he never took the class. Professor Longbottom was a great teacher, as he was very passionate about his work. Personally, the class was one of her favorites, something she hoped to continue after O.W.Ls if she did well enough on her exam. If not, Victoire was prepared to beg Neville to see if he could make a special exception.

I'll see you at lunch? Maybe we can eat and take a walk around the lake? I can tell we both need the break. She wrote, wondering if Teddy would be able to sense playfulness of her tone, as she wrote those words. It was not that she did not like attending class. Victoire would just rather spend time with her friends in the Gryffindor Common Room, Shell Cottage, Hogsmeade, or Diagon Alley. Her father, Bill Weasley, would disagree, stating that an education was the key to success. Sometimes, he sounded like her Aunt Hermione, which made her even more amused. From time to time, she was unsure to how her Uncle Ron put up with her organization and rules all the bloody time.

ALARIC PLIMMSWOOD

Alaric chuckled at Brink's comment about her hair, glancing toward it once more when it returned to a bluish-green. He would never admit it aloud, though he found her hair intriguing, having read about metamorphamagus abilities in a textbook some time or another. The ability to change one's appearance would be a brilliant trait to have, especially if it did not require a month to brew Polyjuice Potion. "Fair enough. Though, I think you'd only change your answers if I managed to get your beloved homework away from you." He replied to both her comments, raising an eyebrow at the fact that she changed her answers. He reasoned that was only something a bore would do. "Well, that just sounds like a load of rubbish." He scoffed, shaking his head and glaring at Professor Nagleton for coming up with this irritating idea. He knew he would be struggling not to hex anyone this term.

He groaned when Nagleton mentioned the thousand-word essay, realizing that his professor should not expect so much from seventh years on the first day of lessons. He coughed in disbelief at his professor's plan to write about an opposite house, wondering what the bloke was playing at. There was no way he wanted to spend his time writing about the 'brave' house of the lion. Continuing with his little speech, the handsome seventh year looked at Nagleton as though he had suffered too many hexes to the head.
"Looks like we'll be seeing a lot of each other, huh, princess?" He remarked with a charming smile, glancing at Brink with a mischievous twinkle in his eye.

She believed my sister and I don't deserve free time, or else we would get in trouble. He replied, looking up at the nut speaking about astrology, finally something that was worth listening to. He glanced down seeing another reply, he gave a slight smirk. If you want to, doll face.

He wasn't sure when he began calling her 'doll face', well, he started her first year. He used it to annoy her, but now it was a natural reaction. Of course not many people knew the origin and the family never bothered to ask. I can't wait for dinner, though, I am ready for bed. He chuckled at that.

Brink ignored what he said about her homework, if he didn't get that she said she changes her answers for correct ones than that was his loss. What bothered her was when he called her princess, she was too young to remember her father but before the war he wrote letters that the twins will receive when they graduate. Hers read on top My Darling Princess.

You would think being so long ago it wasn't going to bother her, but it did. Greatly. She never knew her father, no matter how much she wished she did. "Will you please not call me Princess?" She asked, not rudely but rather nicely, looking over at him. "Please."

If he chose to continue to do so, she was honestly going to snap. It took a lot to make the twins snap, but rather with this it may not be helped.

VICTOIRE WEASLEY

Let's hope McGonagall will be a bit more lenient in my case. Victoire replied with a smirk, continuing to listen to Professor Longbottom's lecture on self fertilizing shrubs. She made sure to heed his warning, writing down in large letters that they are known to feast on flesh. The blonde shuddered at the thought, knowing it would be horrible if something like that ever happened to her. Should an event like such occur, her large and boisterous family would have to get involved, something she was looking to avoid. She glanced down at the enchanted notebook once more, biting her lip slowly to avoid blushing at Teddy's reply. As usual, the phrase doll face stood out to her the most, a name she enjoyed being called by the male Lupin. She used to find it irritating, though it began to grow on her during her time at Hogwarts. Presently, she rarely scowled him on using the term.

She giggled once more when he wrote that he was ready for bed, rolling her eyes, as they had barely begun classes for the term.
It seems to me that you're missing our holiday now. She taunted lightly, putting the enchanted notebook underneath her real one to take notes until Teddy replied to her messages. Victoire knew sending messages to Teddy throughout class was not the most studious way to begin her semester, though she knew that a fellow Gryffindor would be able to fill her in on what she missed. Being an eighth Veela had its perks, though she preferred to be genuine, rather than charming those around her.

ALARIC PLIMMSWOOD

Alaric raised a curious eyebrow when Brink asked him to refrain from calling her a princess, pondering whether or not he hit a soft spot. This inquisitiveness was rotted in the fact that she choose to ask him nicely, rather than snapping at him. "Hmm, I'll have to think about that one." He answered with a haughty tone, throwing her a wink and watching her softly. "I don't suppose anyone has ever told you how pretty princesses can be." He continued with a soft voice, wondering whether or not she would pick up on his flirtatious methods. Like many of the blokes at Hogwarts, Al considered himself a ladies' man. The only thing that set him apart from the others was that he was typically more successful than most, something that he took pride in.

Brink looked to Al, her hair going to an orangish-red. The bloke hit on her, the thought made her shutter. "I believe I asked you nicely," she snapped, "The fact you believe you can hit on me, using the very name I asked you not to use, is beyond me. My Godfather always taught me to be polite, despite house, but people like you make it rather hard. For bloody sakes I even have Slytherin blood and you annoy the piss out of me, already!" She didn't care the class was staring and she didn't care her teacher was yelling at her. "You're nothing but a pretty boy, and you think I would be charmed?! Not like its any of your business but I asked you to refrain because of my father that died in the bloody war." She wasn't going to throw in that his mother worked for the dark lord, that wouldn't be right of her to be judging that way, her cousin Bellatrix killed her other cousin Sirius and helped kill her parents, so that was not something to throw. She finally heard the teacher demand for her to go to McGonagall, "Gladly!" She gathered her things and left.

Teddy listened to the Professor as she spoke about the crystal ball and how there are other uses than to see the future. He found that fascinating. He looked to his paper to see two replies, he went a little red as his hair went pink for only a moment. Very possible, she likes you. I am falling asleep in class, that is why I am ready for bed. The last part was a lie.

Not many people knew he took pride in his school work like his sister did. Despite the trouble he does get into he really wanted to be a teacher like his father was. He wasn't cut out to be an Auror, leave that to the real Potter blood.

VICTOIRE WEASLEY

Victoire smiled smugly at Teddy's words, knowing that Headmistress McGonagall liked her well enough. Two Gryffindors, the two are both devoted to studies and secretly in love with Quidditch. A major dissimilarity between the two was that the blonde would not most likely end up being Head Girl. There were other intelligent young women in the fifth year to compete over the position in the coming years instead, and frankly, she was not interested in the position. By chance, she had been made a Gryffindor Prefect, something her parents found thrilling when she revealed the badge and letter she received in the mail.
You're right, she does like me. She wrote back, chuckling lightly to herself and glancing at Professor Longbottom once more. Promise me you'll get your work done before it's due, Ted. She continued with a teasing tone, though the fifth year was pretty sure that he was secretly a good student.

ALARIC PLIMMSWOOD

Alaric raised an eyebrow when Brinktonia snapped, strangely finding it entertaining, as he was not used to this sort of behavior from a girl. He would never admit it, but he was a bit disappointed that she did not respond positively to his flirtation. The seventh year listened to her rant, glancing around and seeing that their little spat was gaining attention. He listened to her words, though a majority of them went in one ear and out the other, as he only picked up bits and pieces. Arrogant as he was, Al had to resist the urge to chuckle at her commentary on his behavior. When she mentioned her father, he felt a tinge of guilt, though the charming boy ignored it, not wanting to add to the heat of the moment. He blinked when the Nagleton asked her to leave, watching her go and smirking once more. A few students looked at him, which he responded to with a casual shrug until they turned away.

"It seems I might have hit a soft spot. My apologizes." He announced to the entire class with a nonchalant tone. "Does this mean I don't have to do the assignment?" He inquired afterwards, a few snickers resounding throughout the room.

It was like Brink ate a Red Burning Bean, it was almost like smoke was coming out of ears, she was far away from the door when Nagleton stated that everyone was given an extra day with assignment, he knew by far it wasn't going to be that easy to mend the houses. Either way, Brink didn't bloody care. She would just ask her cousin Draco through Express Owl. Draco and his mother mended bonds with Brink's grandmother, and Draco got wrapped around her and Teddy's finger. Though, now that they were older, it was just Brink's finger. ...Not that Godfather Harry liked him yet, he just learned to tolerate.

Once to McGonagall, she was met with a glare. "What did you do now Miss Lupin?" Brink knew it came off childish but she explained the situation, she refused to allow the old woman to speak before she explained why it bothered her so much. "Brinktonia," Brink cringed, she hated that name, "Though I fully understand you cannot disrupt the class and be rude. Your father would never allow that from you," another cringe. The old woman sighed, going over in her desk to pull out a painting of the Marauders, only as teenagers, "A painting knows as much as the person itself. I regretfully never thought about handing the painting to your Godfather. Why don't you send it off to Harry, hm?" She said with a wicked smile. "After class apologize to the boy," before Brink could refuse she shushed her, "it was rather rude to snap on him. I also want you to apologize to Professor Nagleton." She watched Brink leave with a sigh as she held the painting in her hand, waiting for her father to show up.

"She is a lot like Remus, hm?" The Dumbledore painting said.

"She acts like Black and Lupin had a kid," Snape painting replied with a roll of his eyes.

Promise. He quickly scribbled before getting up as the class began to let out. He walked out of the towers, a bit surprised to see his sister standing by the DADA doors, with an odd painting in her hand. Her hair was going a violet, not her usual pretty purple. Something upsetted her.

That bothered him.

Greatly.

He walked over to Brink, DADA was his next class anyway, he went to ask her what was wrong but she refused to look at him with gray eyes. "Who are you waiting for?"

"My partner in class," she said quietly.

"Than why are you out here?"

"I don't want to be in there."

"What's that picture?"

"Father, Mr. Potter, that Pettigrew fellow, and Uncle Sirius." She spoke quietly.

He sighed, looking at his twin. He wished Vic would show up to have a girl talk if needed.

VICTOIRE WEASLEY

Victoire smiled at his promise, knowing that she could hold him to it, if she truly wanted to. She slipped her enchanted notebook into her bag, as Professor Longbottom finished up the lecture, mentally jotting down her assignment for the evening. When the class was dismissed, the blonde exited Greenhouse 5, making her way back into the castle for her next class. She knew she would run into either Brink or Teddy, given that her next class was on the third floor and she would have to pass the corridor where DADA was located. Making her way to the Grand Staircase, the fifth year walked up to the third floor, strolling into the corridor and looking for the Lupin twins. She smirked upon seeing them, wandering closer and raising an eyebrow in seeing Brink's violet hair.
"Oi, what's wrong?" She inquired slowly, not wanting to press her to answer. She glanced at Teddy and gave him a look, wondering what had occurred.

ALARIC PLIMMSWOOD

Alaric sat restlessly for the remainder of Defense Against the Dark Arts, glancing toward the door every so often and wanting to leave. Professor Nagleton droned on with the lecture with an monotonous tone, something he was wishing to escape then. When the man finally dismissed them, Al packed up his things quickly, waiting for a few of his mates and smirking lightly. "That was an interesting class, if I do say so myself." He jested softly, earning nods and murmurs of agreement, as they exited the classroom. Walking into the corridor, a vision of violet hair appeared in his peripheral vision, turning his head slowly to see that it was Brinktonia, his new partner. He chuckled, seeing that she was in the company of her twin brother sporting blue hair, as well the blonde Weasley girl. "I'll see you lot in a bit." He stated, turning to his friends and shoving his hands in his trousers. He headed toward the small group with a smug smile, glancing at Teddy and Victoire for a moment before his eyes settled on Brink. "Nagleton gave us an extra for the assignment." He announced shortly.

Teddy went to answer before Alaric walked up, "No offense, but, why are you bloody talking to my sister?" Teddy asked, his hair tips turning orange. Brink put her hand on his arm, "Don't bother, Ted, it's the professor's idea. I have to apologize, even if I believe you don't deserve it, hitting on me." Brink said with a roll of her eyes before heading inside to talk to the professor. Teddy was looking Al over. He could tell instantly he was the reason his sister was in a bad mood. Especially when she stated he hit on her.

Teddy looked to Victorie, trying to calm down. She calmed him instantly at times, "What did you do to make Brink mad?" Teddy asked Alaric as his hair went back completely blue. He was mad but he didn't know the full story just yet. "Besides hitting on her, I'm pretty sure everyone knows she wouldn't date a Slytherin." He said casually with a light smirk.

Brink came out, she apologized to the professor before walking back out. "I'll walk with you Victorie," Brink stated. She wanted to ignore Alaric all she could. She didn't appreciate being spoke to the way he did. He showed a lot of disrespect towards her.

Alaric simpered when Teddy asked about his presence, glancing at Brink and waiting for her to explain. Once more, he was enchanted when Teddy's hair tips turned orange, wondering about metamorphagus properties once more.
"Well, I accept your apology." He replied with a charming voice, watching Brink head into the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom to talk to Professor Nagleton. When the door closed, he turned his attention back to the other boy in front of him, looking him over as well with a raised eyebrow. "See something you like, mate?" He joked, crossing his arms and watching the boy in front of him. He chuckled when Teddy mentioned that his sister would never date a Slytherin, glancing at the girl beside them before responding. "Perhaps, but that doesn't mean I can't have a bit of fun, especially with a pretty bird like your sister." He murmured arrogantly, smirking in response and saying no more.

All the while, Victoire stood there quietly, seeing the tension practically radiating from the two seventh years in front of her. She smirked lightly, wondering if it was because of Alaric's interaction with Brink or simply because they were captains of competing Quidditch teams. As the blonde looked at Teddy, she could see him scrutinizing Alaric, the Slytherin doing the same thing to Teddy. She touched the male Lupin's arm softly, smiling slightly when he looked at her. Her heart melted, yet she could see the anger disappearing from his lovely eyes. She sighed in gratitude and tuned out of their conversation, looking up when Brink exited the classroom.
"Of course, love." She smiled at the mention of walking away, try to comfort her irritated friend. She looked toward the two boys in front of her before walking away with Brink. As she walked away, the fifth year threw Teddy a look as to say not to harm the other boy too much.

Teddy watched the girls walk away before he took Alaric by his robe, pushing him to the wall. "You better watch how you speak about my sister, mate." His hair went black and his eyes a Smokey gray, "See here, I don't like you and your house as it is," he gestured to her sister, "Whatever you did depressed my little sister." Students gathered around, expecting a fight as Professor Nagleton walked out. He heard Nagleton's demands but he ignored them all. "First warning, don't expect the second warning to be so good." He walked past in the classroom where he had to turn around and go to the Head Mistress' office.

Brink looked back just as her brother was walking away, with a sigh she looked to Victorie, "What did he say before I came out?" She asked, almost dreading the answer. She knew Teddy's temper was quick when it came to his family. "We are getting Howlers tonight." She said sighing.

Alaric chuckled when Teddy grabbed him by his robes, grunting slightly when the Gryffindor pushed him against the wall.
"We'll just see what happens, mate." He responded, his dark brown eyes flickering to the black hair that appeared on the other bloke's head. He listened to his next words, a light smirk appearing on his lips, as he looked Teddy in the eye. "Well, it seems we're in agreement there. I don't quite fancy your House either." He responded, glancing toward the growing crowd around them. Despite him being the one against the wall, Al continued his calm demeanor, looking at the boy in front of him with a simper on his charming face. This expression grew more when Teddy refused to listen to Professor Eagleton's demands, knowing he would be on his way to McGonagall's office when the confrontation ended. "Like I said, we'll see what happens when we get there." He replied, watching the metamorphagus walk toward the Grand Staircase after their encounter. Alaric's friends joined him, as the crowd dispersed, giving him looks and wondering what he was up to now. "Those Gryffindors are an interesting lot, aren't they?" He inquired simply.

Victoire had missed the majority of the clash between the two males, glancing at Brink and raising an eyebrow when the girl looked behind her. She turned back and she saw Teddy stalk away, biting her lip in seeing his irate black hair.
"Who, Plimmswood?" She asked offhand, looking toward her companion once more. "Well, I think he's a bit keen on getting to know you better." She hinted with a teasing tone, knowing the female Lupin would not let that happen. "I didn't hear it all, but he must have said something to set Ted off." She reasoned with a shrug, looking toward the Slytherin boy and his friends. She chuckled at the mention of Howlers, wondering what her Aunt Ginny would do when she found out the twins had both been to the Headmistress' Office on the first day of classes. "Plimmswood seems like an irritating bloke, doesn't he?" She asked, making light conversation.

Brink rolled her eyes, "Victorie, I can't be the only one that blew him off. If I was I am surprised, he is such a Bugger." She growled, not towards Victorie. "Whatever he said to Ted he most likely deserved more." She looked to Victorie and sighed. She realm didn't mean to be this rude, not around Vic. At least it wasn't to her.

She sighed again, her hair going purple. "Have fun in class, love. I got to go below." Brink gave a cheery, yet fake, smile to Victorie before she turned to walk off. She had a class in the dungeons, how much she hoped she didn't run into Alaric.

Teddy got a lot of the same talk but more sturn. He ended up with detention, McGonagall knew he wouldn't apologize. Now the twins had to get a letter sent to Harry and Ginny. Harry may understand but Ginny would be pissed beyond belief.

VICTOIRE WEASLEY

Victoire chuckled at Brink's annoyance, a slight smirk appearing on her soft lips.
"He did seem a bit arrogant. Mind you, he's still gorgeous." She reasoned, raising an eyebrow when her companion growled, knowing it was not toward her. "I'm sure he did. Ted is usually a very good judge of character." She remarked, a soft smile appearing on her face. She sighed and bit her lower lip, hoping her cheeks did not redden as well. If they did, her rosy cheeks would be hard to mask, considering her pale, porcelain skin. The blonde was drawn back to reality when Brink spoke, nodding and looking toward the female Lupin. "See you later, love." She chuckled and smiled, waving to her before heading toward her next class. As she approached the door, Victoire fumbled through her messenger bag for her enchanted notebook, pulling it out and sitting down in an empty seat. What was all that rubbish in the corridor? She wrote to Teddy quickly, knowing he see it after leaving Headmistress McGonagall's office.

ALARIC PLIMMSWOOD

Alaric walked the corridors with his mates, having a free period next. Unlike some of the Gryffindors, the Slytherins were allowed a free period for homework, sleeping, or other activities. The seventh year decided to use this time to flirt with a pretty Ravenclaw he saw in the corridor, charming her and smirking in satisfaction at her blushes. He learned her name rather quickly, seeing that she was a Sixth year student. When they ended their trifling, he winked in her direction before shoving his hands in his trousers and continuing down the corridor. The brunette made his way down the Grand Staircase in pursuit of the dungeons. His plan was to relax in the Slytherin Common Room before continuing with the rest of his day. Coming to the ground floor, Al walked through the Entrance Corridor toward the stairs to the dungeons, walking down them and whistling an old song by the Weird Sisters.

Teddy sighed, heading back to DADA. He was still fuming, how could someone speak about Brink like that? Even with their bloodlines, that reached to the Slytherin side, he wouldn't say that about siblings. He pushed all thoughts away as he went to go sit in DADA, he shared it with Ravenclaws so wasn't a big deal.

He pulled open the notebook and read, "He said he was going to use her for fun, that he could have fun with a pretty bird like her." He sent with a growl. He wasn't in the mood, he was a bit angry.

Brink walked down the dungeon steps hearing a hum, she rolled her eyes and stopped when she seen who it was. In attempt to look natural her hair went brown, hoping he wouldn't notice as she passed him.

He angered her so much, it was ridiculous. He was an annoying twit in her eyes. With a sigh she shook her head.

VICTOIRE WEASLEY

Victoire sat in her Charms class, listening to the Professor and tapping her foot impatiently. Every so often, she glanced toward the enchanted notebook, waiting for Teddy's reply. She sensed eyes on her and looked to her left, glaring at the smirk her Gryffindor friend had on her face. Victoire rolled her eyes, regretting telling her that she and the male Lupin often talked back and forth on the magical device. It was only reason more to torment her about hanging out with the attractive seventh year. She looked down for the sixth time and smiled in seeing a response on the sheet. Her eyes widened at his reply, her hand clenching the quill in her hand a bit tighter. The blonde was not one to get angry often, though she was very protective over her family.
Forget what I said about him being handsome. The bloke is an arse. Brink would have hexed the bloke or punched him if she heard...Whatever hurt him faster. She responded with a huff, scrawling the long message as quickly as possible before hiding the notebook once more.

ALARIC PLIMMSWOOD

Alaric continued to hum the Weird Sisters, his bag slung over one shoulder, as he descended further into the dungeons. He stopped when he saw a female silhouette walk by him, turning his head to look, as she passed. She was decently appealing, something he was definitely attracted to. What surprised him more was that her face was somewhat familiar, yet the hair did not match. A smart bloke, he racked his brain to think of where he saw that face before. "Hang on." He smirked, back-pedaling and blocking the girl's path. "Well, well, well. It seems we've crossed paths yet again." He said with a smug smile, turning on a bit of the charm, as he looked down at Brink. "Nice hair." He commented shortly, as he noted that it was not the same purple she adorned earlier in the day.

Teddy looked down, he had the notebook beside his actual notes. His Ravenclaw mate looking over his shoulder until he got elbowed, with a sigh he replied, "One, you think he is handsome? Two, I already got detention. Not allowed to touch him." He replied.

He quickly moved to his notes, so he didn't fall behind. Their assignment was on the first spells one learned as first years. It only made it difficult on him because Harry taught them many spells to practice at Hogwarts.

Professor then asked for the class to jot down a list of creatures they learned and do an essay, with your partner, about that creature. Only one stuck out.

Werewolf.

Brink rolled her eyes as it went Gryffindor red. "I try to ignore you, you make it hard for me." She turned to face him. "Alaric, leave me alone. I only wish to discuss with you about our assignment." She said calmly.

She was trying really hard to be nice, thinking of the painting folded in her notebook. "Another thing, what did you say to my brother? Do you think nasty remarks will gain my affection?"
