Realistic or Modern Flight 2466: Plane Crash

Avery couldn't help but sigh at the discord. This wasn't the time to be sensitive and worry about feelings getting hurt. "I think the most important thing right now is to gather firewood to build a bonfire for signaling, so one group can go up to the clearing that May was talking about. Another group could start exploring the land around her to search for other sources of food and fresh water," she suggested, deciding to take charge as she looked at the group. "I don't think we should split up into genders either. Having a mix of both would be a good idea," she added at the end, smiling at everyone.

Luke just nodded, he understood.

Avery should be the leader since she knew everything, she knew about the salt water, and the sea weed and everything.

"Yeah, what's my job?" Luke gave in, "I can go help get fire wood, unless you have a better idea." Luke shrugged, offering his help.

"I agree with you Captian Avery. So since you're so self acclaimed leader, how about you split us up too?" she said giving Avery a look that says, "I hate you bitch".

"I dont wanna let go of you Lukey Pookey." she whined, putting her head in his chest, kissing his peck softly.

Yarrow smiled looking up at Toby, he really was handsome. He looked back at May and mouthed the words, 'He's so hot'.

Layla looked and followed the group conversation. She though that the Avery girl had a pretty nice point with finding shelter and fresh water. What she couldn't understand was why that one real prissy girl was being such an asshole. It was as if she hated everyone for no appernet reason. Personally Layla felt that if something bad were to happen, it should at least happen to the Chanel girl.

"I'd like to help find water, if no one minds" At least then Layla could feel like she was at least being somewhat useful.

Gwen watched as Chanel was all over Luke and it made her want to vomit. It wasn't like she was jealous or anything, she just thought it was a bit much. Gwen looked over at Avery and nodded, thinking she was a pretty good leader even if she was self acclaimed. "Yeah, me too. I'd like to help look for food and fresh water also" Gwen said after another girl said what she wanted to do.

Avery chuckled, ignoring Chanel's bitchy look. "Well you guys aren't 5. I'm pretty sure we can split ourselves up. Those who want to find water can find water and those who want to gather firewood can build the bonfire," she retorted back at the dark haired girl. She looked over at the girl swho had just offered to find water and smiled at them. "I'll help find water too," Avery said, wanting to get away from the rest of the group for a bit to clear her head.

"Oh so all the cool girls are going to get water? Well I would LOVE to go with you guys!" Chanel smiled with a sweet look.

And she'd done it. She put on her sweet, fake smile and her nicest fake attitude and pretended to be nice. It was so passive agressive, it was perfect.

"Maybe while we're in the forrest or whatever we can make flower crowns for each other! Wouldn't that be fun?" She said with a giggle, smiling at Layla, Gwen and Avery.

Layla went to stand and rolled her eyes. They really didn't have time for such pettiness. "It does sound like fun, hopefully the flowers we find for you are poisonous." She gave the snide remark with a kind smile and went to walk to the forest edge.

Gwen noticed the sudden change in Chanel's attitude toward them and raised an eyebrow. She shook her head as Chanel mentioned the making of flower crowns. "You know what would be even more fun?" Gwen asked, being a bit sarcastic. "Not dying from starvation and thirst." Gwen looked over at Layla and heard her little remark, not even bothering to hold in her own laugh. She decided to follow the girl towards the edge of the woods also.

"So we're doing exactly what I suggested?" Luke smirked. Ignoring this new girls remark.

"Looks like the girls are all going to get water, hmmf." Luke gave Avery a look.

"How about Avery goes and gets firewood and I go get water." Luke suggested, laughing a little at the situation. Luke missed his sister he really hoped he could get back to the main land soon.

"Layla Im... Im truly hurt." Chanel said sarcastically.

"Its so sad you have to attack me because you're so insecure about looking like a troll." she said with a smile.

"I think maybe I should stay here. If someone gets hurt, I dont want to be blamed. Ill stay here." she smiled brightly.

"Oh Layla sweet heart? Get mouthy again and I will punch you in the throat." she giggles.

"Luke... will you walk with me?" she asked grabbing his hand.

Yarrow stood up annoyed with the pettiness.

"Layla, Chanel, All of you girls. Can you just stop being bitches to each other. Chanels a huge bitch so why are you acting like her if you dont like her? You're all being catty bitches and its ridiculous. Put on your big girl pants and learn to deal with each other." he growled. These girls were starting to piss him off.

"Im going to get water." he said walking to where Layla and Gwen were standing.

Gwen listened to the boy as we walked toward her and Layla. "Okay fine" she mumbled, running a hand through her hair. "Maybe we're just stressed out right now" she shrugged. She knew that he was right. They all had to deal with each other if they wanted to survive. She looked at everyone else and sighed. "Anyone else coming to look for water?" she asked them.

She waved off the insult and the threat. Honestly she could care less about a girl with the mental capacity of child. And maybe Yarrow had a point, they would all be stuck here for the time being. "I understand" She sighed. Hopefully the situation might change for the better

Yarrow let out a sigh of relief.

"Thank you." he said softly.

Chanel was like a catalyst. You couldn't take her anywhere. If you did she would envoke anger in people. He knew that Chanel was a huge bitch, but she wasn't that bad. He never understood why people were always hating on her. I guess it was something he would never understand.

"So you're Gwen and Layla right? Im Yarrow. Im 18 and Im gay as the forth or July." he said introducing himself.

Flannery's eyes fluttered open as she awoke from her booze-induced coma. She hated flying, and Layla absolutely had to drag her onto a plane. "You'll be fine!" she said. "Don't worry." she said.

Bullshit.

She squinted into the mid-afternoon light filtering in from the wreckage. As her eyes adjusted to the harsh light, she felt a breeze brush against her skin.

"Why the fuck is it windy in an airplane?" The maroon-haired girl looked around her, taking in the wreck that lay before her. As she did, a throbbing pain arose in her skull.

"Fucking hell."

She rose to her feet in an attempt to leave the wreck, and fell immediately, letting out a shriek. The muscles in her right leg had locked up, and she hit the ground like a box of rocks, throwing out her arms to catch herself. "Shit." she cursed under her breath as questions flooded into her mind. Where was she? What even happened? Why was she on an island? What about the other people on the plane? Were they still alive? Was she alone? And where was Layla? Was she going to die here? Flannery pulled herself into a sitting position, leaning up against the wreck, and put her head in her hands in an attempt to shut out the blinding sunlight. For her sake, she hoped she wasn't alone on the island.

Randall woke up again, buried onto the sandy floor this time. What the hell...what happened...he thought to himself as he slowly inched himself off the sloppy surface. He got onto his knees, his jeans damp and dirtied beyond relief, just like the whole front of his shirt. The cold seawater prickled his chest, his soaked shirt sticking to him like it was his own skin. It was darker out now, and things looked a little different. The pain on the side of his head was worse now, his ear wound throbbing infact. He rested on his hands and knees as he tried to recollect what had happened to him.

The last thing he remembered was noticing a group of survivors at the foot of the beach. And then nothing. Shit he thought to himself, he must have passed out right after clearing the wreck. This injury must be worse than he originally thought.

He looked around. More wreckage and debris lying around the sand. Pieces of metal and fabrics, and....is that blood?

The people he saw earlier were no longer there, so he turned his head towards the forest edge. One coconut tree looked as if it had been stripped of its contents, predictably enough. He could see a few more blood trails here and there, leading towards it. The survivors must have gathered here to recuperate.

But what happened to them.

Randall started to panick. He had not yet been seen. Whatever it was that made them disappear must not have found him yet. He should exercise caution. He was going to shout for help but it no longer seemed the wisest thing to do. But he was still so disoriented...and thirsty. How long was I out?

Suddenly a shriek and a rattling sound, coming from near the plane. Randall jumped slightly before turning around. It could be another survivor. Best he didn't try to find out what was going on alone. "HELLO???" he shouted at the wreck. Fuck me, he thought again, his voice coming out much louder than he wanted it to. Who knows if the whole goddam forest had heard him? But it was too late now. He waited silently, wishing for whoever it was to say something back.

Gwen chuckled softly as Yarrow introduced himself. "Yeah, nice to meet you" she said with a genuine smile to him but then it faded as soon as she heard something. It sounded like she heard someone call out 'Hello' but it sounded a bit distant. She looked around then fixed her gaze back on Layla and Yarrow. "Did you guys hear that?" she asked them after a bit, not sure if it was just her or not.

She chuckled at Yarrow's introduction, "It's nice to meet you, I'm Layla as you've already figured out." Layla turned her head back toward the beach as Gwen pointed out the 'Hello'. She heard it as well, the girl figured it was probably another survivor who had awoken. Layla nodded. "I think someone just woke up"

Toby Guzzeti

Toby sighed as he watched all the commotion going in. Everyone didn't know what to do with themselves. He saw a boy walk along with two other girls. The boy had been giving him smiles and various flirtatious looks. He wasn't sure how he should react to it, but the way he was feeling now was much different from when he through the he was a heterosexual. He bit his lip, running to catch up to them.

Toby glanced at the boy before greeting them.
"Mind if I come along with you?" He asked, looking in the direction they were heading. "I'm Toby, nice to meet you." He offered them a smile, although it may have seemed it was directed to the boy again. "Where are you guys going?" He asked, wondering what their designated job was to do.

Logan chuckled softly at her calling him a doctor, the mood being lightened as much as it could in a situation like theirs. He then went slightly red in the cheeks, realizing he never introduced himself to the other girl. "Oh, sorry..." He muttered a bit, "I'm Logan. What's your name?" He held his hand out awkwardly for her to shake; Logan was never good with things like this. They made him anxious and he instantly feared that he did something wrong. What if she thinks I'm weird? Then I'll be alone. He thought to himself on the inside and smiled on the outside. He didn't want anyone to sense his fears.

@CreativelyPerfect

Yarrow smiled as Toby ran over to them.

"No... No. The more the merrier." he smiled at him again. He was hella cute.

"Hey Toby... Im Yarrow." He said grinning like an idiot, while Toby smiled at them.

"We're going to get water. Because Im a thirsty hoe." He said laughing a little. His eyes didn't leave Toby. He was blushing a little.

@Delax

Rae was fading in and out; apparently she had attempted to walk too soon and the activity had drained her.

She could hear snippets of words from the guy who had carried her out of the forest, but they didn't make much sense to her.

She heard something about a pool party... how could that be when they were no where near a pool?... and then he told her to stay calm.

Rae was not a genius, but generally the words stay calm were not followed by anything that would calm or soothe anyone.

She felt her anxiety growing and then the pain came, red and hot, as he began to slowly pull the metal out of her shoulder.

She didn't even have time to cry out before it consumed her.

The thought she might vomit, but she didn't have the chance, as she blacked out again.

The pain was too intense, and she wasn't as tough as she liked to think.

She came to quickly, however, just in time to her the guy say, "What's your name?"

My name....? Her shoulder was screaming; doesn't anyone hear it?

She took a few shaky breaths, and finally managed to form the letters she needed.

"I'm Rae," she told him. "Rae Bennett. Thank you for helping me."

Just then a girl walked over to where they were.

The girl knelt down and ripped some of the cloth from Rae's shirt to cover the new hole in her shoulder.

The girl seemed like she was in charge, telling Rae that she needed to wash the wound as soon as she could.

She smiled, though, and her face was friendly. Rae smiled back. It was nice to see a couple of friendly faces. For a bit there she had thought that she might be alone.

At that point both the girl and the guy turned their attentions towards the rest of the survivors.

Some had begun collecting firewood; and others were discussing things that needed to be done, and who was going to do them.

It seemed that the girls and guys were splitting up; she didn't think that was the best idea being that they had no idea where they were or what inhabited this island with them, but it was not up to her. She could barely stand.

All I need is some rest. Then I will be fine.

She wished that she could help, but she was pretty sure she was out of commission, at least for the day.

She spoke then, "I'm sorry..." but she trailed off as she realized no one was listening to her.

She hated feeling so helpless, and was determined to do something to contribute.

She tried again, a bit louder this time, speaking to anyone who could hear her.

"Is there anything I can do?"

Yarrow...That was such a cute name. He bit his lip lightly, feeling his cheeks reddening as he stared at the boy for a few moments more than any other person would. He shook his head lightly, glancing at the ground. What was he doing? Toby had though his whole life that he was straight. Now, he was just confused.

Toby turned around suddenly as he heard the girl he had helped earlier speak. He walked over to her, kneeling down to her level. "Rae, y
ou need to rest now. You're probably dehydrated, we all are, but we're going to try and get that sorted." Toby nodded, comfortingly rubbing her side. He bit his lip, glancing at Yarrow. God, he was cute. "Is it shady enough for you here?" He asked, wanting to at least make an alliance with Rae

Rae looked up at the guy, grateful that someone had heard her.

"Thank you," she told him, her gratitude apparent in her tone.

"I want to help, I really do, but I think you might be right. I'm sorry I'm not much help right now," she said sadly, tears welling up in her eyes again.

She blinked rapidly, trying to rid herself of them before the guy noticed. It was embarrassing.

Rae was so disappointed in herself.

All this pain, all this turmoil, and all she was able to do was sit on the ground crying like a baby. It was pathetic.

"I'm fine here,' she told guy, hoping he didn't think her useless.

"Are you sure there is nothing I can do? And I'm sorry, but, what was your name? I seem to have missed it, or forgotten."

She looked down at her lap, wringing her hands together.

She was worried that if she didn't do something to help the group they would cast her out and leave her alone.

And then what would I do?

@Delax

Layla turned her attention back to the boy who had helped her a few moments ago. He had just introduced himself and Layla went back and took his outstretched hand. "I'm Layla, Nice to meet you" The girl kept her cheery disposition as she felt that he was a bit on edge. She figured that even here wouldn't be a bad place to make acquaintances or even friends.
