I find it hard to tell you. I find it hard to take. When people run in circles. It's a very, very mad world, mad world

Cameron used to be a passionate dancer for ever since he was born. He took his first lesson when he was six years old and never stopped until he had this car accident one month ago. They had to amputate the lower part of his left leg and there is no way he can become a professional dancer like this which turned his world upside down. He has no idea what to do with his life right now, and he kind of hates it.

background:

Cameron had always been one of the more silent and uncomplicated people. Since a very young age, he had the dream of becoming a professional dancer wherefore he took dancing lessons very early. Both of his parents are very wealthy and ambitious people. Camerons marks always used to be slightly above average, but he is not a smartass. As he always had certain goals in his life, he knew how to structure his daily routine and to always have an eye on the future. However, some months ago he collided with a car when he was on his way to college and injured badly. They had to amputate the lower half of his left leg and now he has to wear a prothesis. There is now way to become a professional dancer like this and he is really frustrated. Most of his friends keep telling him to enroll in another college and start all over agian, but he can not stop mourning his past life. He does not think that he will ever be happy again, and there are times in which he thinks it would have been better if he died.

issues

Alexis struggles with being able to communicate with others. She loves talking, but doesn't understand when to stop or what conversations are inappropriate. Her lacking charisma has led her to be ignored by many and even ostracized by some people. She truly believes that she will never be able to speak at a great conversational level, unless it's about physics or mathematics. Although, sadly, it seems that those topics aren't talked about a lot in normal everyday conversation.

Alexis' extreme level of genius is both a blessing and a curse. She cannot stop thinking. Often, she finds herself up at four in the morning just lost in her world of complex thoughts and ideas, leaving her with little sleep. She also has trouble relating with other's too. Most are never at the same level of intellect as her and she doesn't understand most of the things they talk about either, no matter how hard she tries. She tries a lot, but it seems to never click, making the young genius feel extremely lonely. All in all, there are times where she wishes she was born with an average brain.

As another consequence of her intellect, she has no idea who she truly is. Sometimes, she feels as if she is a robot. She was constantly praised by her family and strangers for her genius level intelligence, yet they seldom said anything more. She is always constantly at a search for herself. Who is Alexis Teller? That question bombards her mind almost as much as mathematics. The struggle in her search for self often leaves her feeling gloomy, and unsatisfied with whom she has become.

It seemed that everything in her was put into her mind. She isn't very good at anything else. Even when she tries other things such as playing an instrument, sports, or even simple things like putting on make up, she cannot succeed it seems. She isn't very good with hand eye coordination, often leaving her with just throwing her hair into a messy ponytail and being quite clumsy when not giving something her full attention. This ends up being another thing that makes her feel unlike the others around her age.

Finally, Alexis feels terribly alone. Her inability to relate and emphasize with others around her leads to her feelings of nothingness. She always wished that there would be somebody that she could spend time with. Having a friend would be one of the greatest gifts she could receive. She just wants the eternal loneliness to leave.

personality

Alexis is a genius. She spends most of her time in the laboratory or teaching (something the school required she do if she wanted to be able to also work in the laboratory). Although, as for her other personality aspects, she doesn't know. So many people have always praised her genius that she doesn't know much about herself. This makes her sad sometimes, although she's good at making it look like she's not bothered by anything.

The girl, however, is quite quirky and awkward in conversation; although, she does love talking to others. It seems that her extroversion wasn't complimented with the social skills needed to make such a thing flourish. Although, she hasn't really grown up with others in her age group, and maybe, she hopes, she will one day learn some of these skills and be able to have great friendships.

background

Alexis was born into a wealthy family that was able to take care of her every need and more. She lived in a manor in Massachusetts. She wasn't raised by her parents, but rather a governess. Growing up, she was able to catch onto things quite quickly and remember it well, learning complex algebraic equations by the age of five.

Alexis made the private school she went to go crazy in confusion on where to place such a genius child. She was quickly placed into the high school level classes at a very young age. She learned everything with ease and graduated high school at the age of ten. Going through high school at such a young age put the girl in quite the predicament. She was never given a chance to play and talk with others around her age, creating a huge lacking gap in her social skills.

Alexis then went to MIT to study physics and mathematics at the age of eleven. She often studied for fun, after all there wasn't much that she knew to do, and was able to take tests and pass out of several classes, allowing her to graduate with her doctorate in Physics and a minor in Mathematics two days before her eighteenth birthday.

It was when her education ended that Alexis realized that there was so much more to the world than learning. There were so many things in her childhood that she never experienced and the fact that she never had any friends hit her hard. She then realized that she had never truly been happy. She had only thought she was happy in going to classes everyday because that was all she knew how to do. She never knew what it truly meant to have fun. She didn't want to live like this.

The girl quickly declined the job MIT was going to offer her, as she wanted to get away from where she currently was living. She wanted to start her life over. So, two weeks after her eighteenth birthday, she accepted a job as a mathematics professor and a physicist at the University of Columbia. She moved into a small one bedroom apartment in Manhattan with the help of her parents. Although, when she started getting her paychecks, she declined her parent's money. She was in this herself. She was going to become her own person. She will be happy.

I can make a male, if you'd like... That, or I can just change my already made charrie's gender. I like playing both genders equally, so...
