Yuki looked at the girl who was asking for the fighting to stop and knew how she felt, Shuiro was about to start complaining about how the boy was chickening out but then his eye returned to normal and he looked confused. "What happened? is the guy gone?"

Her body went back to normal as she watched Nichole run off with the cat in her arms. She got up slowly and looked at the two kids. "Yeah, and the cat is back to normal." Ayumi took one deep breath before wiping the remaining blood from her knee. She glanced around where they were and wondered where the guy when to. Her left hand felt cold all of a sudden so she opened it, finding a small pendant. "Oh hey, from before." She whispered before putting it in her pocket securely.

Yeah... just gonna slip off now. She backed away and walked off, hardly believing what she had just saw. People... Animal people? Giant cats? Elves? Elves with... weird hair, and talking about crazy things... Mews? What are mews? "Stop thinking about this crap and get home, you need to... sleep, or something. This is all exhaustion. Yeah, that sounds reasonable."

Nichole got the cat treated and started walking home. She passed by cafe mew mew and was pulled in. "WAH!"

Ayumi glanced at the two boys before ruffling the blue ones hair slightly. "I'm gonna leave now, stay safe okay?" She walked backwards before turning around and started down towards her favorite cafe. Her mood instantly picked up once she got near it. She opened the doors carefully before seeing Nichole inside with no customers. "Uh, d-did I come in at a bad time?"

Nichole flailed and the guy let her go. "Ok so Nichole is it? You did great for your first fight. But you got too cocky." Nichole said"who are you?!" Holding the cat close. "Im eliot jr. Kyle cmon dude! Hi ayumi." A guy with blue hair came out and bowed. He smiled and kissed the girls' hands being a total gentleman. "My name is kyle nice to meet you both."

Isha was lost in her thoughts, and also, lost in the fact that she had a recital coming up... Ugh, stupid violin... I never liked playing instruments.. She sighed as she passed the...Mew Mew Cafe, apparently. She looked up at the sign, standing in front of the wide open doors, feeling.. oddly pulled towards the place..

Yuki smiled when his hair was messed with. "Nya!" he giggled while his brother rolled his eyes kind of jealous... "Yeah, yeah your always the cute one ai'nt cha?" figured, Yuki was always peoples favorite. He had big round eyes and was so adorable he reminded him of a freaking baby panda "C'mon! lets follow her!" Shuiro said "Uhhh..." the redhead just dragged the little gut along and they hid again this time in a trash can. "Eww!, dude it smells in here!" "Shh! shut up don't blow our cover blockhead!" you could tell the two were brothers the way they argued. "And your not daddy bonehead!, so don't tell me what to do..." that one struck something... "Dad's gone and he's never coming back Yuki..." little Yuki just shut up after that 'sure he will... Shu's just looking at the negative again... there's no way he could go that easily, that man was too stubborn to die..."

When Kyle kissed her hand, she felt her ears and tail appear. She grabbed her tail shyly and looked the other way. "S-so...first of all how did you know my name, and secondly, what happened back there?" Ayumi heard a faint conversation from outside the cafe. Her ear twitched, trying to pick up words. After sounded like it ended, she gave up and returned her attention back to Kyle and Elliot.

 

[Fluffy-Kat]

After everything died down, Ritsuka found Itaru and ran up to him,"Wh-wh-whaaaaat was that?!" She stuttered.


Itaru looked at her with his typical emotionless, blank glance,"Im not sure..." He grabbed her hand,"Lets find the others, maybe they know..."


Ritsuka nodded and they took off to find them. Itaru used his sense of smell since Ritsuka didnt know how to control hers yet.


The scents brought them into town, where they stood infront of an empty place, didnt seem very lively..."A-Are you sure this is where they went?" Ritsuka's tiny, quiet voice made sure. She played with her snow white hair and bright blue eyes blinked as they examined the door.


Itaru looked down at her,"Im sure of it...cmon--"


"Wait!" She grabbed his arm.


He looked down at her with a cocked eyebrow, wondering what she stopped him for.


"All this time, i thought you were the only one like that...knowing that theres more like you, is kinda scary...anyone can be one! E-even i can!"


Itaru gave a low chuckle,"You have no idea..." He pushed the door open and saw Nichole, Ayumi, and a stranger there. He stood in the door way, one hand still on the door, and the other in his pocket,"Dont mean to crash the party...". Ritsuka stood behind him, pretty much unseen.

Yuki couldn't take this anymore... "I don't know about you but I don't want to smell like dead fish all day" the tiny teen crawled out of the trash can his brother giving up they both went back "home" to take a bath. Shuiro had the key to the old abandoned shack where the boys lived, he opened the door and they used a hose and an inflatable kiddy pool to clean themselves after their dumpster diving. They wore the same school uniform as they came back to the cafe curious as to why everyone was gathering there, Yuki snuck up behind Ritsuka and childishly jumped up on her back "Puppy!" he smiled as Shuiro looked around "Hmm..." he smelled food... the brothers only got to eat at school so he immediately liked it here. Although he felt awkward being around so many people at once and his social anxiety was kicking him in the shin, he tried to avoid eye contact his emperor eye was like a curse and he felt ashamed to have others see it so he instinctively hid... while their attention was on Yuki he slipped on an eyepatch to hide the golden emperor eye.

Ritsuka felt a sudden amount of pressure weigh her down. "Wah!!" She lost her footing and fell back onto the floor. She sat up quickly and rubbed her elbow a little,"ow..." She looked around then under her. She fell on top of boy,"gah! I-im sorry!" She stood up and ran to Itaru. He turned around,"hmm?" He looked down at the boy,"oh..are you okay?" He walked up to him and grabbed his shirt, pulling him to his feet roughly. Its just the way he was, he didnt really know how to be gentle but he tried at times.


Ritsuka looked at the other twin,"I-Im sorry i fell on your brother..." She bowed. Itaru looked at him as well,"So whatre you guys doing here?"

Ayumi found this scene super adorable and giggled. She hugged her tail tighter and fangirled all over the two. Yuki was down right adorable and Shuiro was too, but he was more distant. Her eyes glanced at Shuiro and stayed there for a moment. She tried to figure out who he was as a person, and what happened to his other eye. Poor kid, I hope his other eye isn't gone or anything..

Kyle stood and said"follow us everyone. " leading them behind the kitchen and down some stairs. "Watch your step." Nichole looked around and kyle turned on the lights. There was a lot of technology! "This is our base. As you can see you all have animal dna in you." Showing pictures on the monitors. "Most are endangered but roght now. Its up to you to protect our world."

With a quick glance, Isha saw the group wander off, and decided to follow. So she snuck after them, into the basement and looked in. She didn't notice the young girl with gray hair sneaking behind her as well. The young girl, named Hatashi stood up on tiptoes to to look at the small group with Isha...


"Hmmm.... What're ya doing?" Hatashi said loudly.


"WAAAH-" Isha shouted and fell over into the doorway.

Nichole and the other guys turned and said"are you alright? " Blinking. Nichole's ears popped out and her tail swished some. Then she hugged the kitty closer.

Hatashi ran in and looked at everyone. "You have cat ears! Are those real! OOOOO CAN I TOUCH THEM!" Hatashi jumped and started pulling on Nichole's ears, squealing, "The ears are real! THEY'RE REAL!" Then she proceeded to Nichole's tail, squealing, "The tail is real! REEEEAL!"


"Oww..." Isha sat up, rubbing her forehead, then got up and brushed off her clothes, "What crazy stuff is going on here?"

Nichole yowled and hid behind kyle with a chirp. Kyle said"mice to meet you. May I have your names? And please keep your volume down."

"I am Hatashi Rika! Where did you get those ears! I want some! Show me how to get ears!"


"Ugh, Ishamori Makoto..."

 

[twilight sparkle]

Kyle said"were you hit with a white light?" Rasing an eyebrow. Nichole's ears flattened and the kitten hissed a bit.

Auyumi followed the group down and stared at the big screen in front of her. She knew that something was weird, but what amazed her was that she had wolf dna inside her. Then something hit her. "Wait, how did the dna even get inside of me? Did that light have to do with it?"

"Uhhhhh, I think.... Does that have to do with this?" Hatashi pulled the collar of her shirt down so the gray mew mark on her neck is visible. "This popped up on my way to school. I always go through the park."

Kyle said"actually you all had a bit of the dna in you already. The light just connected you with the animals you were destined with."


Eliot nodded and said"yea. Ok where are the marks everyone?" Rolling his eyes.

"Oooo! Does that mean I get ears?"


Isha stared at Kyle, then raised and leaned back on the balls of her feet. "I recall a light when I was walking through the park one day..."

Kyle said"well um you have Chinese river dolphin dna. You dont get ears. But you do get a tail." SSweatdropping. Nichole's stomach growled and she blushed then sniffed. She smelled meat.
