I wonder...are our characters forced to fall in love with their arranged spouse at some point? Or are they allowed to simply uphold their vows and be with one another out of a sense of duty?

I don't think two people need to necessarily fall in love in a situation like this to be enjoyable but I guess I am the only one who thinks that way. He is in love with Mina but nothing can come out of it, of course. Eloping with her is also out of the question.

Personally I think it'd just seem kind of weird if every single character fell in love with their assigned partner since it doesn't feel very realistic >w>;

They do not have to fall in love with one another, I mean one could fall in love with the other and another could not or they are both in love with somebody else or they don't love anybody or there are many options. Although, I made this role-play with romance in mind… It also has action, drama and all that good stuff. I mean a royal character could be in love with a knight or some other forbidden love… Things like that there many opportunities, even though like I said I made it with romance in mind so if you have a character who doesn't fall in love with anyone might be a little weird.....
Also I'm really sorry guys, I cannot get the role-play in character up tonight, I'm really sick..... I'm hoping I don't have to go to the hospital because my breathing again, I have severe asthma and the weather here has been crazy bad and my doctor won't give me my inhaler! So, I appreciate everybody who is bearing with me!

As for the previous topic of discussion, this is my thoughts on it;; Just go with your heart. If you feel like your character is falling for someone other than their spouse, feel free to let those feelings evolve. Similarly, if they are falling for their spouse, do what you will with that. Basically what Reiia said, haha - she's very wise. For instance, I have no idea what Vance is gonna do, as far as love goes. The guy's a bit older than most of the women, although not by much in some cases. He has experienced a lot of shit in his life, and feels much older than he actually is, mentally, as a result. In addition, he has already lost the love of his life once, so as of now, I honestly have no idea how his romance story is going to go.
I just go with the flow and direct it as it goes, haha.
