Lux looked the Captain up and down to see if she initially deserved respect. He thought that she did, and bowed his head a slight bit to her, but remained silent.

Eventually, they stopped. The recruits are now standing beside a doorway. "Alright, you babies. We're here." General Pheonix said as he pulls out his ID card and swipes it to the card reader near the door. The doors shook and open.
Kokoro stood in silent excitement as the doors shook themselves and would rationally go into the room with the others. And then, waiting for them... Kokoro almost couldn't believe it. '...They're here. At last.' She thought to herself, a smile gracing her face.
"Alright, crewmen, meet Captain Susan Spearson." General Pheonix said as he approached this widely-known military captain. "Captain Spearson, these are the recruits you requested." He points to each recruit and called out their names for her. "Ma'arz, Lux, Kqidons, and Kokoro." The captain looked over them with a stoic face, looking at though she hadn't blinked for a full five minutes. "A pleasure to meet you all, in person." She said, finally.
When her name was called out, Kokoro smiled and then heard the captain speak up. "It's nice to meet you, too... I've been pretty excited to be honest... Don't remember the last time I was doing anything for such a reason on 'this' scale..." She laughed a little, with a half/half smile - both happy and sad.

She didn't respond to what Kokoro had said. Just a simple nod in acknowledgment. "I'll go see myself out. Give them the usual baby patting and education like you always do." General Pheonix said to Captain Susan, who responds by giving him the Human salute; a straight posture followed by a hand above her forehead. "Aye-aye, sir." She said. General Pheonix then walks out of the room and the door closes. The captain then concluded her salute. "He was a drill sergeant in his youth."

"Geez... That explains a lot..." Kokoro sighed heavily, followed by a laugh of 'he is really good at that, and it shows'. She couldn't help but laugh as well - that makes a 'lot' of sense, and when you think about it, almost everyone got shouted at by him. 'Almost' everyone, only one of the four did not suffer his wrath.

"Alright, recruits! Stand straight and look at me!" She demanded in an authoritative voice similar to the general. "My name is Captain Susan Spearson and I will your superior in the flagship of the One-Earth Society's space military." She explains as she moves back and forth in a calm, marching manner. "You will all work under my direct leadership as the space military's elite squadrons. As my elite crewmen, I only request to complete whatever assignment I ask you, either mundane or complex, to the best of your abilities. Because here, in the One-Earth Society, we only expect the best from the best. Do I make myself clear?" She finished. Ma'arz and Kqidon quickly respond with "YES, MADAM!"

Kokoro, as demanded, promptly turned to her and stood straight - listening to what she said. Shortly after the speaking finished, Kokoro mustered a smile. "Ask and you shall receive." She said in response, nodding in confirmation that she understood.

Lux felt more respect for her. No bullshit. To the point. He likes people like this. He nodded and did a salute that only Humans know from the Earths history, a hand to his forehead.

"And another thing." She commented, looking at Ma'arz and Kqidons. "You will all refer to me as Captain. No sir, madam, or any other nickname." She put this out in response to the duo trying to sound respectful. "I know you two were trying to be respectful, but Captain will be the only word you'll call me. Do I make myself clear?" She asked the duo and, in extension, the rest of the recruits. "Yes, Captain!" Ma'arz quickly responds. "Whatever you say, captain." Kqidons shrugged.

'Captain it is, got it. Better get used to it soon, I may be using it a lot.' Kokoro made a mental note to be sure, and nodded once more to confirm she heard.

Captain Susan then put her cap back on and looked at the recruits. "Follow me." Her first order said by her to the recruits. She turns around and grabs onto the metallic handrails in the hallway with both hands. "Be careful. This entryway isn't completely AG-supported. You may feel a bit weightless." She warned as she walks in a way that she's climbing with a rope. Thinking that the recruits don't know what 'AG' stands for, Ma'arz whispers loudly for the trio "AG is abbreviated for Artificial Gravity."

Kokoro would follow along, and upon hearing of Artificial Gravity, she just scoffed. "So, like normal then." She joked to herself aloud.

As they begin to approach the flagship, Susan turns to the specter Kokoro, who’s just floating along the entryway with little trouble. “Pardon me... Kokoro, was it?” The captain tried to called her. “Can you come here real quick?”

Kokoro, upon hearing her call, headed on over. "I am Kokoro, yes. What is it, captain?" Kokoro asked calmly, having naturally came on over with little trouble as with before. She now patiently waited for a response in some form.

Stopping for a minute, she quickly scanned the specter's body, from seeing if she retains the rest of her former body to recognizing that she needs to keep the flame on her hand lit to remain visible. "Hm." She said simply. "So, General Pheonix wasn't exaggerating when he said that you really are a ghost." She continued, now moving forward again.

Kokoro nodded. "I don't know what the big deal about it is to be honest..." She said simply in response as she continued with the rest of the group. To her, it sounded like a heap of disrespect in some way, like people are interested in her apparent death.

"Well, you may not know this," She began. "But a ghostly specter such as yourself is hard to come by; in fact, it's virtually impossible to encounter." She explained, her hands still gripping onto the handrails. "To be honest, I never believed in ghosts simply because I thought they don't exist; that they are nothing more than superstition. And yet, you stand before me..."

"I mean, I guess that makes sense - but I can't help but find the attention a little bit distracting..." Kokoro said in response, shrugging it off. There are some things she is not going to understand - she can understand the attention as much as she may hate it at least, but yet there are bigger questions she wants answers to. "I too believed ghosts were superstition. Until becoming one, I had no idea they existed. And yet, I still haven't seen any others. Not all become ghosts, it seems."

As lux followed the Captain, he kept studying the areas they passed by as a result of habit of captures and escapes he’s had. When they neared the flagship and the Captain pulled Kokoro aside, he guessed she wanted to know if her eyes deceived her that Kokoro was a ghost.

Encountering a large gate, Susan pulls out a radio and said "Open Docking Bay Gate." She puts it away and the gate, after a few seconds, rumbles open, revealing the interior of the flagship for the first time. "Wow..." Ma'arz said, entering the large area after Susan. "This all looks so... fantastic." He continued in an enthusiastic tone.

Lux slowly looked all around in the flagship. Even he had to admit it was impressive. He followed Captain Susan and the others as they started out of the hangar.

Lux looked at her curiously, and then wordlessly stood at attention in front of her, his pad in his hands under his cloak, ready to write a response.

"So, your name is Lux?" She asked rhetorically. "My superior introduced me to you via your personal files. Told me he was quite suspicious of you..." She looked at him in the eyes, paying close attention. His towering height didn't deter the captain one bit, even if she had a shorter, more average stature.

They are suspicious because they can’t find anything on me. I don’t like being recorded.

He wrote and showed her his pad.
