Talia sighed in aggravation, and sat down on the floor criss cross apple sauce. Like a child. She couldn’t bare to see Lux the way she had heard he was. She didn’t want to see that much blood from him again. For a healing species, she wasn’t that good with medicine.

So instead, she started meditating again, hoping to control her temper once Susan came in.

After a couple of minutes, Susan Spearson came in, wearing her uniform once again. Visibly aggravated, she knocked on the door frame to catch Talia's attention. "Talia Shore. I would like to have a word with you." Susan ordered in a passive-aggressive tone.

Talia sighed, and got up from her position on the floor. She seemed somewhat calm from her ussual preppy disposition, and she couldn’t help but take deep breaths in maintaining her cool.

Talia and Susan then went out to the hallway, right outside of the medical bay. "What were you thinking, entering the life-threatening virtual reality like that? I specifically told everyone, including you, to not enter the VR and you completely disregarded it!" Susan scolded Talia, now sounding incredibly pissed off.

“I was thinking,” Talia growled out before taking a breath to steady herself. “That my friend almost died. Rewby almost died from a plasma shot before we figured out you could die in real life. What if she hadn’t figured it out? What if she had figured it out the hard way? I wasn’t going to let that happen.” She said matter of factly, holding her tongue about more she wanted to say.

Mostly about Susan.

"You are still thinking about that Krystalline? No known Krystalline have sympathy for the Lunarim; that Rewby is manipulating you!" Susan angrily responds, apparently still believing that Rewby is taking advantage of Talia.

“No, Susan, she’s not!” Talia yelled back, officially pissed off. “Let me tell you something, Captain.” she put stress on the word captain, and growled it out so she was showing her fangs. “I know when I’m being manipulated. I’ve made that mistake once, and I’ve never made it again! She is not manipulating me!” There was clearly a story behind what she said, but a story for another time. “You think you know everything. Guess what. Newsflash, ya’ don’t! She is a good alien, and you blame her for having prejudice! You’re the one yelling that she can’t be trusted!” Talia yelled, honestly forgetting for a moment this was her captain.

After the surgery, lux was asleep for a few minutes. However, his body doesn’t need a lot of sleep to be rested. He soon woke up, and was glad to see that he had a blanket covering the holes in his clothing. He checked how the blood transfusion was going, and saw that he still has a few more minutes. He thought he heard something, and looked around and saw Talia in the doorway being chewed out by someone he can’t see, presumably Susan. He began to listen closely/eavesdrop on the conversation.

Hamele could hear the conversation as well, but dared not to eavesdrop on the conversation, instead noticing Lux was awake. She seemed relieved. "Welcome back." She said passively, seeming relieved. "Feeling any better yet?" She added, unaware that Lux may or may not respond.

Lux turned to look at Hamele, and held up a finger to where his lips are under his mask. He wanted to hear what was going on he then pretended to be asleep, and resumed listening to Susan and Talia’s conversation.

Hamele saw and nodded, going silent so he could - not wanting to really bother stopping him. She knew Lux's habit of gathering information. One does not simply stop that thirst.

Susan stood back, surprised by Talia suddenly yelling back at her superior. Nonetheless, she was having none of it. "And what EXACTLY do you mean by that, Talia Shore?" Susan demanded, now more pissed than ever. During the argument, one of the doctors came by Lux's body and proceeds to remove the butterfly needle from his arm. "Alright, Lux. Your transfusion is complete." He said as he disposes of the needle and the empty blood bag.

“What did I say!?” It was a rhetorical question, but Talia didn’t care what she did at his point. Dock her pay, fire her, she didn’t care. But the captains lack of reality was enough to piss her off. “You. Are. A. Hypocrite! That’s in simple terms! You’re talking about how Krystallines have bias against us, but you have bias against them! Rewby is amazing, and one of the few friends I have! You lecture me about taking chances and being reckless. Was it your job to fix this VR problem? No. But you did it anyway. Why? Because you thought it was right.” Talia was doing less yelling now, and more loud talking. Fire lit her eyes and venom laced her words, but she was clearly trying to hold her cool at least a little.

Lux has had enough of this arguing, and sat up on the bed. He pulled his sleeve down, and took off the blanket. He wrapped his cook tighter around him so no one saw his shirt open and his scars. He stood up, and went over to the two arguing girls with his pad.

What the hell is going on? I get she broke your rule, but I believe that Talia should be forgiven. She saved over a dozen aliens from players.

"That is because it is our job, Talia Shore! In the One-Earth Society military codes, it is our duty to rescue the innocent and punish the guilty!" Susan yelled back, though trying to hold herself back from impulsively firing her. When Lux came by to investigate what they're arguing about, she tried to get a word in before she gets interrupted by Talia.

Talia yelled in frustration, and glared at Susan. “But you don’t need to go out of your way! Besides, you were the one who instructed us to lead a entire group of soldiers! You were going to trust me with that? I can keep myself safe, but I can’t be responsible for that many people!!” Talia was aggravated, and did a full 360 before facing Susan again. “And yes, you are a hypocrite. Because you are biased against a person you haven’t even met for no reason other than your assumptions. I thought you would be better than that.” Talia finished, looking disappointed as well as angry.

Lux was getting tired of their loud bickering. He growled lowly under his mask, and banged on the wall.

Both of you calm down. Excuse me, Captain, but if I may speak/write freely, then I’d like to say that yelling will get both of you nowhere. Captain. You don’t like your orders being defied which I respect. Talia, however, did well in the VR game, and saved dozens of lives. If I may be so bold, I’d say that both of you are wrong and right at the same time. Talia shouldn’t have disobeyed orders, but Captain shouldn’t try to suppress habits that save others lives.

He finished writing his long paragraph and showed the two angry women, irritated.

Susan clutched her fists in anger, ignoring the note Lux showed to both of them. "Even if what you claim is true, you have no evidence to support it!" Susan said to Talia, hoping that it'll be the end of this argument. Instead, it helped Talia remember something: Lux's makeshift VR helmet. Perhaps Lux may have recorded his experience with her and Rewby?

Talia snarled and flew into a rage, throwing her hands up in the air. “Try me! Lux!” She said angrily, throwing her head and hand over to the human standing next to them, effectively swatting the note away. “You’re incredibly thorough. You have to have recorded something from when you met Rewby. Am I right, or am I wrong.” Her tone was vicious, and while it wasn’t pointed at Lux, she still looked a bit scary with her black eyes and fangs.

Lux watched as his note was ignored and smacked out of his hands. He didn’t appreciate it at all. Regardless, he looked at Talia, and nodded. He didn’t specifically record t, by he can pull up all of his activity and run a visual program on his computer to get a full 3D view of his interactions. In simple terms, yes. He recorded it.

Talia laughed triumphantly, and looked back to Susan. “There! We’re gonna go watch it, and I’m gonna be all smug while you eat your words.” She said in a less than happy tone. “I don’t mean to drag you into this, Lux, but can you pull up the video? Rewby saved my life and I don’t want Cap’n here thinking she’s a bad person.” That was all she said, and crossed her arms. She figured they would both be ok with that, but if she was honest she knew she got out of hand when she was mad.

He goes and gets the note that was left on the floor, and writes on the back of it.

I’ll show you the video if both of you agree to not completely disregard my writings.

He grips the note hard, his eye flickering to red for a split second as he shows the two women.
