"Well, how can we not be surprised after hearing what the game even did to people? Or possibly still does?" Hamele asked in the same worried tone, shuddering at the thought soon after. "Are you at least feeling OK? No damage done?" She asked soon after in a hopeful tone, unable to keep a fully serious face - though one could tell she cared.

Talia shrugged, and shook her head no. “Nah, I'm fine. How is everyone else? Besides the Captain, because I’m sure she’s furious.” She said with slight intimidation. She wasn’t sure the captain was going to be too thrilled about that.

"Oh, everyone else went to storm the source of this 'digital murder' thing. You know." She said simply, hoping Talia would connect the dots - Hamele was trying to simply say 'everyone else went to the ones responsible for the patch, revert it, and do other stuff therein'. "So, in other words, you were to miss all of that... I think someone even had to go in your place, but I can't remember who..."

Talia sighed, and got the message. “Yes yes, I know I screwed up. But I’m kinda glad I did. They had a madman on their tail because of me, and they could have died. Of course, I could’ve too, but we saved a bunch of people.”

"Yeah..." Hamele said in agreement. "That's true... I haven't heard anything back from them yet - but judging by the fact you're back with us and not locked to 'that', they should hopefully be coming back soon."

  • Kokoro nodded. "You may have them." She said calmly, not minding and just stepping away and pushing T. Eorize to the soldier holding the handcuffs. Bowe just watched the scene unfold through her eyes, seeming unsure of what to do next. One would imagine this does take a toll on a kid like her - exposition to such death and violence. It doesn't seem it, surprisingly, so what's going on here...?
The soldier quickly catches T. Eorize and promptly places the handcuffs on the back of her hands. “Terrence Eorize, you are hereby under arrest for attempted alien genocide and association of the Inferno Syndicate terrorist organization.” The soldier said to T. Eorize as he guides her out of the room. “You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used in the court of law.” The soldier continued as he and T. Eorize left the room. During these events, Morioka eventually turned her eyes to little Bowe and, upon seeing her, as the most confused look on her face. “Why the hell do you have a child on board??” Morioka asked in disbelief. “Rest assured, Miss Chika, Bowe is no normal kid.” Susan assured to the Morioka, who then gives the captain a ‘yeah, I don’t believe you’ look.

Talia’s head snapped at Lux’s name, and a concerned look flashed across her face. “Lux? What’s wrong with Lux?” She said quickly, narrowing her eyes. She got off of the bed, and blinked away the blackness that came from sitting up too fast.

She didn’t bother to glare at the other doctor. She knew they were probably frustrated due to last time with the blood transfusion.

“Soldiers told me that Lux has sustained a plasma blast to the chest and a chainsaw laceration to his waist.” The physician told Talia. “Luckily, Lux was able to stitch the laceration wound shut. But, nonetheless, Lux fell unconscious due to blood loss from the laceration wound.” The physician continued, hinting a little bit of sarcasm at ‘luckily’.

Talia’s eyes widened slightly, and she gasped. Turning on her heel to the doctor, she said in a matter of fact voice;
“I want to be there. When they bring him in.” As she said this, narrowing her eyes. She paused after she said that, and thought about it. She used to be very detached from almost everyone, but recently she had been getting closer to a lot of people.

“Was anyone else injured?”

  • “Lux Ormidial has been severely injured during the infiltration and needs medical attention once the Army leaves the freighter.” The physician lets Hamele know, with a straight face. Another physician groans loudly. “Not that bastard again!” The other doctor yelled in frustration.
Hamele groaned as well. "Oh for the love of..." She sighed in 'not again' and facepalmed. "...Gosh freaking damn it. Welp. Guess that's at the top of my to-do list... Again..."

    “Was anyone else injured?”
“Not as far as I’m aware of, Lunarim.” The physical responded to Talia, rather matter-of-factly, as he prepares a medical bed for Lux when he arrives.
Hamele groaned as well. "Oh for the love of..." She sighed in 'not again' and facepalmed. "...Gosh freaking damn it. Welp. Guess that's at the top of my to-do list... Again..."
“Of OUR to-do list, mind you, Doctor Hamele.” The physician in question responded to Hamele as he, too, prepares for Lux’s potential arrival. “Jesus Christ... all of that unnecessary drama JUST because he doesn’t want a blood transfusion. If the tall ‘n dark SOB says that he doesn’t need a blood transfusion, I’ll throw a packet of his O+ blood right at his face!” The physician continued, still pissed about yesterday. Hopefully, that was a bluff...

Meanwhile in the hallway just before the airlock with the ship.

Lux's eyes barely open, and he starts blinking to try to wake himself up. His head hurts, and so does his chest/stomach for obvious reasons. He looks around and sees that he's being carried to a ship to be given emergency medical support and such. He groans a little, and shakes himself out of the grasp of the soldier carrying him, and falling onto the floor with a thud. A small crack was heard, but not part of him. The device that let him communicate to his team broke, and is now projecting his thoughts.

"Get the fuck off of me...What happened?... Are Talia and Kokoro okay?... I hate doctors...No one better have seen my face...I need to do proper surgery on my stomach...I need to talk to that engineer of which who's friend I killed...Why can I hear my thoughts?"

(Triple periods mark the gap between his thoughts)

The soldier who was initially holding onto Lux groaned to himself before he grabbed Lux again, now with a much firmer grip. “Do not resist, Lux Ormidail.” The soldier firmly ordered Lux as he picks up up again. “By Captain Susan’s orders, you WILL be properly treated.”

"Get off me...I can do it myself...I'm knowledgeable in medicine and surgery, if not more than any of these doctors...my thoughts are so loud...did my thought-device break?.... Captain Susan doesn't know a hundredth of my skills...I've been through worse...everything hurts...why are my thoughts, SO LOUD!?!?"

The last thought of his was incredibly loud, almost at deafening levels as he slowly dawned on what was happening, his lack of more than half his blood clouding his normally amazing judgment. He shifted around, and fell again, the soldier receiving a large portion of the broken thought-device's sounds.

When the sound from Lux’s device amplified, the soldier only growled in pain and proceeds to angrily find the source of the loud sound, take the earpiece from Lux’s ear, and puts it in his pocket. “Lux, if you don’t stop this resistance, I’ll put you under anesthesia.” The soldier firmly warned as he proceeded to grab Lux again.

He grunted again, and kept trying to get out of his grip. "That was...unintentional...also...get the fuck off me..." He grunts out, coughing up some more of his already-low blood supply. He hates doctors and, basically medical help in general. Giving it to other people, he's alright with. Being given medical help, not at all.

“I care not if it was unintentional. Get back in line or Captain Susan will hear about this!” The soldier said to Lux, almost yelling. It seems as though he’s getting very sick of his shit, as he proceeded to lift up Lux again, this time, with one of his fingers on a pressure point on his neck. They now begin to enter the First Human Army’s shuttle, with other soldiers waiting for the soldier holding Lux, one of them holding a first aid kit as a ‘just-in-case’ precaution.

He knew the pressure point well, and didn't physically resist anymore. He glared his deadly glare at everyone in the shuttle, especially the soldier carrying him and the one with the medical kit. He pointed to a seat on the shuttle, wanting to be set in it so he can lie down, so less blood has to go through his stomach to get to his legs and such, not intending to do anything else at the moment other than try to improve his minor surgery.

Hamele sighs, not really liking the sound of that physician's ranting - she too isn't too pleased by it, but you'd at least think they could be nicer! She just tries her best to remain calm and still for now, waiting for Lux's arrival with fear of a repeat.

Talia crosses her arms, this time slightly glaring at the doctor, and placed for a little while with nothing else to do other than grit her teeth and hope for the best.

The soldier carrying Lux complied when Lux pointed to a seat and carefully placed him so he can lie down. However, when Lux attempted to improve on his quick wound surgery, the soldier quickly stopped him. “I don’t want you to harm yourself, Ormidial. Please wait until you are given proper treatment back at the flagship.” The soldier said to Lux.
Kokoro nodded and picked Bowe up, following Susan back to the flagship, Bowe waving to everyone in the main room that was still alive like 'bye bye'.
Morioka only awkwardly waved “goodbye” back to Bowe. Once they left the room, Susan quickly turned to Kokoro. “You will order your Seventh Freakazoid Army to make preparations to move out. If you find any of Lux’s Fifth Human Army soldiers, let them know that it’s time to move out, too. I will be returning to my shuttle to oversee the injured Lux, and make sure he doesn’t harm himself further.” Susan said to Kokoro. After that, she gave her a gentle pat on the back. “You did well, Commander Kokoro.” She said to Kokoro right before turning her head to Bowe. “As for you, too, Bowe.”

Kokoro shuddered a bit from the pat on the back; having not gotten used to touch yet, but she did seem to like it. She then nervously chuckled before shaking herself into making sense. "Y-Yes, Captain." She said calmly, intending to do just that. Bowe gave the thumbs up and that clueless and childlike smile on hers, the alien meat she had with her previously was no more. Wanna guess where it went? It's obvious.

“I’m fine. I’m just cleaning the stitches. I don’t know if you noticed, but I’m bleeding. I need to stop it or my guts will spill out before you all before we get to the ship”
He quickly writes, holding his stitched laceration, not making a move yet because the soldier would just knock him out if he tried anything.
