The events so far is that multiple anomalies were popping up all over modern day earth, so chaldea set forth to investigate them. Venturing to london, they discovered that the anomaly there was none other than a false grail, utilizing strange magic to mercilessly use the dead to shape into a nightmarish form. The masters and servants defeated it, retrieving the grail for chaldea. During this venture, there were hints that whatever was happening had intelligence behind it, and knew chaldea was interfering.

After returning from london, everyone was shocked to find that whoever was behind the anomalies had a means of ripping through space to infiltrate chaldea. Sending in a scorpion familiar and Lancelot, which could shift from his saber and berserker variants. After fending off these foes, chaldea prepares to rayshift to an unusual singularity that HP Lovecraft found, since the false grail that was in their possession had also been stolen. A new assassin servant appeared, seemingly as if via one's wishes and they all rayshifted to this new singularity to find themselves in an inn of sorts. The man running the place called himself Dr Holmes.
