BlightGiver E'yo! I dunno if it hurts or helps my case, but I'm the aforementioned friend. Kind of a big Nasuverse buff, so when they mentioned this game I couldn't help myself. I had originally been planning on trying to run a variation on Enkidu (basically an Enkidu [Lily] sort of situation to help even out how stronk they are (also if you change your mind and decide that Lancers are cool please feel free to chime in on that front)), but if we're looking at Casters or Assassins... Before I put up a sheet, what would you think of the Nameless Assassin from Fate/strange fake? I ask mostly because as I was explaining the character to Druby earlier, they did a bit of a verbal double take and went, "Hold up what did you just say about her Noble Phantasm"? And okay, to be fair, 'Phantasmal Pedigree' is basically Ushiwakamaru's noble phantasm but more focused and expanded. ... Let me explain.

In brief, it's basically a collective noble phantasm that represents most of the Hassan's noble phantasms. Essentially anything that starts with Zabaniya- although some of them are modified. I'd argue that it's not as big of a deal as it might seem since it's not like Assassin has enough mana to just spam out a bunch of them- and of course most of them are essentially just different takes on the idea of [make one person be not alive]. On top of that she has one skill other than presence concealment and it's not a particularly good one. ... Oh, and we don't actually know what all of the Zabaniya are which also sort of limits the functionality of it but that's really more of an out-of-character sort of issues so *cue raspberry noises*.

Aaaaalso hi. Which I probably should have opened with but seeing as it is definitely impossible to go back and fix that now, I think we'll just all have to live with the consequences of my foolish actions.

While I have no problem with the character herself, or her NP being a sort of collection of Zabaniya, having the abilities of that many Hassan NPs would come across as a bit too much. I'd recommend, if you do make a sheet for that assassin, that you cut down the amount she has to half, or even slightly less. Additionally, and this is more a suggestion of curiosity, it'd be cool to see what kind of theoretical Zabaniya you could come up with, if you choose to use some of those.

Right on, I have kind of a soft spot for Fate/strange fake anyways so getting the go ahead on her is pretty cool so thanks for not dismissing it out of hand (like I kind of thought you might, since there's certainly a bit of absurdity to someone who effectively has use of eighteen noble phantasms (looking at you Gil, though, amirite?)). As for cutting down the amount of Zabaniya, that seems pretty fair. If it's cool with you I'll probably just fluff it as some kind of quirk of her summoning leaving her without access to the full collection... Maybe some kind of memory block or something? Well whatever, I'll think a bit more about it and come up with something I'm sure. As for numbers, she's demonstrated seven in her own source material (or I guess eight if you count ones that she technically only use off screen but I'm gonna ignore that for the sake of being right about me previous claim I guess?) so I think that would probably be a pretty good number. Certainly more manageable than the full eighteen right? Would that be a bit better, or would you want me to reduce it a bit further?

Alright, excellent, now the only real question is how I should introduce Assassin. I guess the logical thing to do would be to write up a two hundred page Oceans Eleven style light novel wherein they plan out an infiltration of Chaldea, break in, and then beat Lucas with a pillow case filled with math text books... But that sounds like a lot of effort so I'm open to suggestions on what my first post should probably be if anyone has any (and also I'm less good at writing in a vacuum).
