Okies, folks! Initiative is as follows:
Muppet: 17
Bruce Leanne: 13 (Cera goes on Bruce Leanne's turn)
Mario Zuko: 12
Zeki-Zentraedi Male Power Armor: 11 (badly damaged, smoking, dodging, and weaving on his way toward the blast door).

I'm also going to spend a Action Point on this roll to make sure I hit (hopefully!)

'Fraid not, Bubba. Action Points in Robotech: Broadsword do not affect natural rolls (I think we touched on this previously in this chapter, but it had to do with rolling high, not low). The VHT round and the Action Point are wasted.

The MPA has a 16 total on Mario using his chest-mounted grenade launcher. What does Mario do about it?
 
Mario will go ahead and attempt a Parry with his left arm shield.

Cancel that. I'm in Tank mode, so it will have to be a Dodge. I only have a +15 to do so, not the +16 of the Parry.
 
I was about to ask, "Parry with what, bud?" But you're sharp and you caught it. That 26 of yours beats his 16 by a mile.

Somewhere in the pilot's head, he is also thinking, "Dammit, that should have hit!" Hee hee. I guess he does not know that tankers are not easy kills; I like to think that a good tanker lives to piss off and kill his opponents. =)

Heya gang. I hope to post either tomorrow or the next day - I have the scene in my head, but my ADD is kicking up something awful today and I'm frankly just not with it.

But tomorrow is a new day. =)

Probably a swarm of Zeki-Zentraedi that will come running through the door to make our lives miserable. That's ok. So long as everyone can get some die rolls to be able to hit something, we'll be golden.

Thanks for the poke, Dann. I completely missed the latest IC post. Here is my initiative roll for Mario. I'll go ahead and take your advice and use a Action Point for my roll here, too.
 
Quick question: are any of the Battle Pods or the funky looking MPA close enough to one another for an MPAT shell to be able to hit more than one in a single shot? It has a 50 foot blast radius, after all.
 
Sherwood, I'm glad you asked! There are two pairs of Battle Pods that are within 50 feet of each other (one pair on either side of the Beastmaster). While 50 feet might be a great distance to us humans, it is not the case when you are created 40 feet tall and driving a mech nearly 60 feet in height. Oh well, though! If they are too close, then it sucks to be them! =)
