Fantasy Fantasy of Isis

NoLongerExistsHere

One Thousand Club
There exists a world called Isis far form the realm we know. In this world exists people who are but one half of a pair. There is the human part of the pair and the weapon part. Each weapon takes the shape of some sort of animal. Then when it's called upon by it's human part of the pair it transforms into a weapon. The world of Isis is currently ruled by an evil king who has enslaved the people of the land who he deemed unworthy. So will you join the rebellion raising up against the king or will you join the kings side and try and defeat the rebellion.

~Ryu~

I hated this! I hate the king for enslaving us! I don't get why he had to enslave us. I guess I never will. I guess I might not ever understand why the king chose to enslave us. He deemed me unworthy we he saw I was living on the streets because of my parents deaths. Now all I had was Alpha and Beta, the two dragon's at my side. They are my partners and they are a part of me. I just hope that we would be rescued soon by the rebels. I heard they were going around and rescuing all the people in the slave camps. I hope they come to mine soon.

Kai stood on the edge of the forest line, breathing steadily; he watched the slave camp intently, watching guard patterns and taking note of all possible exits and entrances. He got on one knee and began stroking his chin, pondering how exactly he was going to enter the camp and free the prisoners. Hundreds of strategies and scenarios played out in his mind, he began to access each plan, calculating it's flaws and perks.

After several minutes of observing the camp from the shelter of the thick forest, he noted the fading daylight, if he was going to strike, now would be the time.

He stood up, causing his companion hawk, Petra, to look at him with curious eyes. Deciding on the best plan, Kai began sprinting to the east entrance to the camp, which would allow him the quickest path to where most of the prisoners were being kept. Even though he was increasingly approaching a well guard camp, where he most likely would be facing many enemies, his heart remains at a normal pace, and his mind as tranquil as a lake. After all, he had attempted much more difficult feats in his lengthy career. Once he was only a few feet from the fence of the camp, Kai crouched and hurried to the camps border, trying to stay alert and hidden. He stopped near the entrance, observing tow guards talking to one another, a screech from in the air told him that Petra was flying above, and she was ready to proceed. Kai smiled before imitating the cry of a bird, a signal to Petra. In what seemed like a split second, an enormous six foot tall buster sword, came falling from the sky and pierced precisely through one of the guards necks, decapitating him. The large blade made a loud thud as it landed into the ground; before the second guard could react though, Kai ran up to him and snapped his neck, lowering his dead body slowly into a near by shrub. He turned and looked at his sword, it seemingly evaporated and changed into a armored hawk once more. The bird took to the sky once more, and Kai rushed into the camp, finding new shadowy cover quickly. Now the fun starts he thought, thinking out his next move for a moment.

~Ryu~

I heard the commotion of a guard meet his end. I was currently in my cell and if the restriction bracelet they made all of us wear wasn't keeping me from calling on my partners I'd likely be out there trying to get free. I'd be taking out some guards. Well a least I know how to get out of my cell without being noticed. I quickly rolled a rock away from the cell and crawled out of it.

"Ryu, what are you doing?!" Alpha, the one who doesn't have a long tail, stated in a harsh whisper.

"I want to see what's going on" I replied in whisper of my own.

"Come on Alpha I want to see too" Beta, my other dragon, stated, agreeing with me.

"I don't know why I have to put up with you two" Alpha sighed.

I soon saw what was causing the commotion. It was a man who was likely with the rebellion.

Kai scurried across the hard dirt ground, taking caution to avoid guards, for now. He was quickly pressed against the wall of the building he identified as the slave holding area; carefully observing the surrounding area, he noticed a small squadron of guards here or there. Pondering further on how to release the prisoners and not draw attention proved more difficult, it was seeming more and more likely that he would have to break stealth. The building that housed the prisoners contained only one front entrance, and only small windows, meaning there was really only one way in. If explosions or tunneling were more of a style choice of Kai, he may have had more options, at last they were not. He sighed and once more whistled what sounded like a bird call, the guards paid no attention to what they thought was a simple bird call. Petra came flying down, once she was a few feet above Kai's head, she transformed into her blade form and began falling blissfully down. With a single sweeping motion, Kai spun on his heels and grabbed the falling sword with his right hand, holding it behind him with little effort. He took his fighting stance and took a deep breath, finding mental clarity before he rushed forward. With a sudden burst of speed, Kai lunged forward towards a group of three guards, appearing as if by magic, the guards were too slow to react, and in a split second they all became decapitated. However, Kai now stood directly near a large lantern, and was illuminated in yellow light. A lone guard who had been walking towards the lantern, drew his sword and opened his mouth to shout; in another incredibly fast move, Kai was standing in front of the guard, and he was quickly cut down. Looking around, Kai saw that there were no more guards in sight line of the prisons front door, but he knew more would be here soon, so he acted with haste. Quickly running to the large metal door of the prison, he smiled a little, knowing such a barrier couldn't stop him; grabbing his sword with two hands now, he gathered strength in his arms, before slashing his blade across the door diagonally, cutting it clean in half, with only the slight sound of clanking metal to be heard, hopefully not enough to alert any guards. Entering the room, he saw the decrepit state the prisoners were kept in, but he didn't focus on that for long. "Time to go" he said to them all quietly, he went up to the nearest prisoner, a young looking one, using his sword he cut them free from her chains. "Go start helping the others free" Kai said to them, he then began going to prisoners and quickly cutting their chains as well, hurrying quickly and avoiding hurting any of them with his huge sword. @Sheaon13

~Ryu~

I smirked with the chains and ristrictions off I could finally help everyone here.

"It's been a long time since we've actually been in our weapon form, huh?" Beta asked me.

"Yes, Yes it has" I nodded.

"Well he did say to help the other prisoners right? Why not help them but cutting off their chains as well?" Beta stated and I nodded. I called Beta and Alpha into their weapon forms and started taking of the chains and restrictions the prisoners had on them. I was careful not to hurt anyone. Soon I had gotten the chains off the people I had gotten to.

In no time, the prisoners had all been freed, they stayed in the room, looking to Kai for the next stage of the plan. "There an entrance to the south of here, exit the camp and proceed to any rebel camp that you know of" he said with authority. Before anyone could move though, Kai heard someone yell, "The prisoners are escaping!", Kai spun around and saw a guard at the entrance of the cut down door. SHIT! he said to himself; alarms rang through the camp as Kai quickly killed the guard who had alerted the camp. "Hurry!" He yelled back to the prisoners, not knowing how many of them could fight in their condition, no longer concerned about them, he focused on providing a distraction. He spread is long black wings and took flight, looking for the guards who were on their way to the jail, hoping to take as many out as he could.

~Ryu~

I watched as the other prisoners took off running. I wouldn't run! I was in good condition so I wouldn't run. I stayed there, and prepared for a fight. I began taking out the guards one by one along side the rebel. I was fast, very fast, though I lacked defense. That wasn't one of my strong points, though what I lacked in defense I made up in speed and stamina.

Kai was impressed by the skill the rebel possessed, he was able to handle his own, which was good because Kai was busy flying around and slashing at soldiers, so he was unable to help him. Flying higher, and dodging a myriad of projectiles on the way; Kai looked at the swarm of rebel prisoners, they seemed to have all made their way out and were now breaking apart in their own directions. The job was almost done. Kai flapped his wings and began to dive bomb towards the ground at a high velocity, he came crashing down sword first, sending a shock wave towards the soldiers and knocking them down. He dashed to where the rebel was fighting and yelled at him, "We need to leave!" Kai extended his hand, ready to fly both of them away, urgency pulsed through his body as he waited for the rebel to react. @Sheaon13

~Ryu~

I saw the rebel take out another guard and then noticed the prisoner were safe. I heard him shout we needed to leave. I nodded, my partners going back into their dragon form and taking to the sky with their wings that they could make come in and out of their backs. I latched on to the rebel's hands and nodded my appreciation.

A group of soldiers had regained their barrings and were mounting a second assault, they gathered in a small cluster so Kai had an idea. He grabbed the rebels hand tightly with one hand, and threw his sword like a spear with the other, the six foot slab of metal went hurtling at the group, going through several of them cleanly and causing the others to take covers. Before the sword struck a house, it transformed back into it's hawk form and began flying up with a pinpoint turn. Kai followed suit, bringing his wings up and charging their power, he thrust upwards into the sky, cold air biting his skin as he ascended, following his companion. The two flew the opposite way most of the rebels had ran, Kai gripped the rebel with both his heads and proceeded flying at a fast rate, soaring through the sky with such bliss, you couldn't have told he had just come from a prison break. "We are going to one of the rebellions main headquarters, you can get debriefed there" he said loudly over the wind rushing into their ears.He continued flying in the dark, deciding to remain silent the rest of the trip. @Sheaon13

~Ryu~

I had to admit flying was pretty nice. It was enjoyable too. Though one thing bothered me. What did he mean by debriefed? I wasn't a member of the rebels I was just a slave at the camp. So what did he mean by that? Though honestly I did want to be a member of the rebels.

"What do you mean by debriefed? I mean I can understand you needing to be debriefed but why me? I'm not a member of the rebels" I decided to voice my concern out loud.

Kai looked down at the rebel, deciding whether he was allowed to discuss the circumstances with him. Deciding he would probably cooperate more if he knew more information; "The higher ups of the rebellion want as much information about the empire, so they want to take statements from the prisoners" he said. That was all he knew in reality, they hadn't told him anything else.

The camp came into view as Kai flew through a patch of clouds; the headquarters was located on the base of a big mountain. At the base of the mountain lay an unassuming cave, it was a decent size and could house a small party, however the cave was only deceivingly small. If one spoke the password, the true headquarters was reveled. Kai landed gently, sending dust flying as his powerful wings flapped to allow descent, once he was on the ground he released the prisoner. "We are here" he said ominously, be motioning with his head for Ryu to follow; right before he disappeared into the dark abyss of the cave, Petra flaw down and landed on his shoulder, sitting there similarly to a way a parrot would. @Sheaon13

Roxii observed from the shadows as the uprising began in the slave camp, watching as chaos ensued and the winged man and the freed prisoner began fighting off guards. She was impressed by their skill of defending themselves, and watched as the Tenshi grabbed the prisoner and took to the sky towards safety. The rebels were quite helpful in her line of work; they created enough distractions to allow her quick and easy assassinations. Today, her target was a general of the slave camp she was observing: a well-known slave-master who had developed plenty of enemies over the years.

A fairly small creature emerged from the literal shadows, forming into a small pitch black wolf. It was about 24 inches tall at shoulder height and had glowing red eyes. "
Are we ready?" Tenebris asked the assassin through telepathic communication.

Roxii nodded once; a silent yes. While the guards were still dazed and distracted, the anthropoid got up from her place as the shadow wolf transformed into a recurve crossbow. As Roxii gripped the weapon, another creature formed from the shadows: a shadow dragon that was about a foot in height and two and a half feet in length. The dragon flew in the air silently and hovered by her, waiting for the lupo to make a move. Letting out a breath to relax herself, she began to make her way down the slope towards the encampment.

It was easy to go down without being seen with the amount of chaos going on, so Roxii settled by vegetation near the camp, peering out of the shadows. She retrieved an arrow and lowered the nose of her crossbow, sticking her foot in the foothold. She held the crossbow with her foot as she pulled on the bowstring, pulling it back until it locked and then notching an arrow. She crouched back down to the ground and singled out her target. Once she found him, she took aim and quickly let the arrow fly. Years of training had made it easy for her to quickly take aim and hit targets in one-hit kills. As she expected, the arrow pierced the general's skull, going straight through his brain and killing him instantly. His body slumped to the ground with a
thud, which created even more chaos and commotion. Satisfied, she allowed Tenebris to shift back into his wolf form, and him and Mortem disappeared back into her shadow. Roxii escaped from the encampment area and began heading away from it before she was caught. She was never caught before, and she wasn't going to let this become the first time.

Demitri didn't like taking sides he knew it made you weak and when your weak you die so he did what he had to and right now that was tracking down the any rebels who seem to powerful. and from what he had just seen the two who just flew out of camp were very powerful. But first to deal with the the one he just saw run from camp "Bagera, Tessa give me your speed" and off he went flying toward the one running from camp he knew this one seen em before never caught em tho.

@Javax

"We are being followed." Mortem's gravelly voice pierced Roxii's thoughts. She kept moving and avoided being caught up by any roots or vegetation that could trip her up as she cast a quick glance behind her. A black-haired Tenshi was pursuing her, the look of "bounty hunter" evident in his hard gaze. He was fairly quick for a winged man; enhanced speed from his companions, she assumed, since he was traveling much faster than the average Tenshi.

Averting her gaze back to the path in front of her, she thought of all the ways that she could lose him. The Lupo decided to go with the easiest route. Reaching into a small pouch on her left hip, she gripped the
small, palm-sized stone in her hand. She raised her right hand in front of her, elbow bent, and did a small swooping motion, whispering "Ruǻlǐ". The stone in her left hand began to give off a faint glow as she drew power from it. After the word was spoken, tendrils of darkness began to emanate off of the shadows around her, surrounding the anthropoid. She continued the leech off of the shadows around her until she was completely surrounded by the partially opaque element. Once she was finished, she clenched her fist and whispered "M’ȕqaǐ", and the darkness surrounding her became transparent, taking the young Lupo with it. She was now invisible.

So this was the rebel base, interesting. I just hoped that they might invite me to join the rebels. That would be great. Alpha and Beta flew down and took their wings back into their backs. Then they rested on my shoulders, grabbing it with their arms and their feet hanging below. I walked through the door with the rebel, hoping for the best.

Seeing that he was following, Kai approached the back wall, its unassuming rough edges pokubg out as if to grab someone. "Mætro" Kai said quietly. Petra tended her feet on Kais shoulder, readying herself for any type of confrontation on the other side, a natural instinct they both shared. Suddenly the ground began to vibrate, in an unnatural way; dust rose into the air as the ground it lay on shook increasingly so. The large back of the cave began to move, pulsing as if it was breathing, the pulsing increased more and more, each time causing a hole to grow bigger. The hole was centered on the wall, and looking through it, you could see hundreds of make shift buildings and tents, there were large spheres if light hovering ever so often among the large clearing in the mountain, as well as several rebel guards facing the hole. Soon the whole expanded large enough that a person could fit; " Captain Kai" one if the soldiers said, saluting Kai, Kai respectfully saluted back. The rebels stood aside as Kai moved forward, "Tell the commander one of the prisoners is here for him to talk with" Kai said to a guard. He turned to Ryu, "Are you ready to talk?" He asked him. Before he could answer he turned to another guard, "Gather food and clothing for the exprisoner and bring it to the commanders tent" he barked. @Sheaon13

~Ryu~

I lead to a tent with Kai, as I found out his name was just now. There someone brought a change of clothing and some food. I looked at the food and my stomach growled. I chuckled nervously.

"I guess I"m hungrier than I thought" I said while rubbing the back of my blood red hair.

Kai remained silent, allowing the ex prisoner to rejuvenate his-self; meanwhile Kai sat in a wooden chair by a desk, stroking Petra's armor strong feathers, the bird sat on guard on top the desk Kai sat by, she watched the other man with glowing yellow eyes. A swish of motion caught Kais and Petra's attention, the front of the tent split open, revealing a late 40's man with a short beard and strong stature, he was accompanied by a small gecko that clung to his hand, which he held across his torso in a stationary position. With a kind smile that made his face glow, he caused an instant aura of friendliness to permeate the small tent. Kai nodded at the man, though not saluting him despite his superiority. "Why welcome back Kai, I am happy to assume the mission was a wonderful success!" he said cheerfully; he turned to the escaped man and addressed him as well. "Hello there, I am commander Grey. I'm glad you were able to make it out of the prison alive" he said, he extended his hand politely, wishing to shake apparently. @Sheaon13

Dahlin Watched as all this happened, falling back and stumbling into the woods. Her magic could not do much for her now, she fell down, down, down, slamming into a log and passing out.

noticing she had disappeared probably with magic from her companions he decided to head back to his house to see if any new news from that retched king had arrived he hated working for that man but whatever paid the bill.

After a while Dahlin came to her senses. Her commanding officer would know she was gone, she would most likely get beaten again too.

UGGHhhh!! Why is life so difficult.

She tried to stand and found that her ankle was broken beyond magical repair. She grabbed her staff, and hobbled along, back to her post.

~Ryu~

I watched the scene with interest, it seemed these two people knew each other. They seemed to be friends too. Though I could swear I've seen Grey somewhere before. Maybe because my dad worked with the rebels I might have met him when I was younger. I shrugged. Who knows.

The commander took a seat across from the Lupo, he stroked his beard; "As much as I'm sure you'd like to relax after being imprisoned, I would like to ask you to please explain your situation to me. If you could, I'd like to know about you, and how you came to be imprisoned" he said softly, from his jacket pocket he brought out a couple of cigars, putting one in his mouth, he motioned to Kai, as if to ask him if he wanted one. Kai shook his head, Grey then offered the cigar to the ex prisoner. @Sheaon13
