There was one problem. Dahlin didn't know the way back! So she hobbled along until she came to a tent. She called out to whoever was in it.


"Umm, hello? Is there anyone there?"

"My dad was executed for being a rebel and my mom had just died of illness. Because my dad was a rebel and because I was living on the streets until they found me the king deemed me unworthy and put me in one of his slave camps. Though I did happen to know how to use my partners thanks to my dad training me. That's the whole reason why the camp we were at is one of the only ones to have restrictions on our partners to keep us from using the weapon form of our partners. I almost escaped so they had to put restrictions on the camp other wise I would have escaped again. I was also unlucky enough for the king to be checking up on my camp the moment I tried to escape. That was the reason I was caught I couldn't hold my own that well against the king" I stated, explaining myself. That's when the girl entered the tent.


"Who are you?" I asked tilting my head.

She entered, and replied. "I am Dahlin" She told him as she hobbled over. (it's Darwin) " I fell down a nearby cliff and broke my ankle, I found this tent and hoped that you could help me." She sat down Puffing.

"On dear!" Grey said with concern. He stood up from his chair and looked at Kai, perhaps you could take this young lady to the med station?" He asked with concern. Kai took a moment to observe the woman, then he nodded and stood up causing Petra to then take her normal position on his shoulder. "Need help walking?" Kai asked her, walking over to her. @Sheaon13

Dahlin was touched at his kindness, "No, there's no need, I already have my staff" she said it suddenly appearing in her hand.

I looked at her with concern in my eyes. Would she be okay? I honestly hoped she would be. I hoped her ankle wouldn't be hurt too bad.

Kai observed her curiosly, concluding his observation with a nod. He crossed his arms and began walking, causing his armor to clink slightly. "Follow me" he said, planning on leading her to the med bay.


Seeing that it was well, Grey sat down again and lit his cigar. "That's quite an awful situation, I'm sorry you had to endure such pain. Might I ask your fathers name, and yours for that matter" he said, taking a puff as he finished. @Sheaon13 @Musicomar4

The look of concern on everyone's face nearly made Dahlin laugh. But then she tripped and fell on top of the young boy, screaming all the way down.

"My fathers name was Jacob Ushima and my name is Ryu Ushima" I replied, my stomach growled again. Apparently it was protesting not being fed for a few days and the food wasn't helping either. I looked on in surprise at what happed afterwards.


"Are you okay?" I asked in concern.

Roy woke at the sound of commotion. The young leone glanced around as the slave camp burst to life, guards and rebels fighting each other relentlessly.


Roy, a mercenary for the camp, chose to ignore what was going on until the leader of the camp ran towards him, furious.


"Damn lion! What am I paying you for?! Grab my slaves before you become one of them!" He spat.


Roy whispered to the lizard draped across his shoulders, and in response, she transformed into a heavy war hammer.


Taking the butt of the hammer, he jabbed it into the camp leader, before quickly helping to usher the rebels out.


"Come on, come on. No time to stop, you all need out of here fast!" He called, taking one last glance back at the camp before following two rebels as they flew overhead.


"Maybe the rebels are willing to pay some good coin for protection." He thought to himself as he stood outside the base.

Dahlin could feel that Roy, her boss, wouldn't be pleased at her disappearance.

"Yea, im fine," she remembered something. "Hey, i never got your name?"

"Woah there" he said, picking up the girl who had fallen, being gentle as he did it. He put the girls arm around his neck, causing Petra to fly off his shoulder and out of the tent. "Let's get you to the doc" he said to her, surprised at her clumsyness. Kai slowly began to help her out of the tent.

"What an, interesting girl" Grey said. Thinking about Ryus story so far, not recognizing the name "Ushima"

After the fall, Dahlin had began to feel light-headed, she was thankful for the help.

"My dad was actually the leader of the rebellion before he was killed. He said he wanted some girl named Shona to be his sucessor. So its very likely that she's that now" I stated.


(This will explain why she's the leader of the rebellion at such a young age so just go with it)

As Roy strode into the camp, he saw two familiar figures walk out of a tent. One he knew as the rebel he followed to the camp, and the other, a subordinate of his.


He calmly approached the two, whispering for Xan to return to her monitor form.


"Fancy meeting you here, Miss Kyne, especially since I recall you were to be guarding the B gate back at the camp." The Leone said with a sly grin. "But it seems we both decided to get out of there, hmm?" Roy chuckled in his deep, raspy voice.


Roy turned his attention to the boy that was helping her out of the tent.


"I must say, I was impressed with your fighting back at the camp. A very strange, yet effective style." He said with a short bow of his head.

Dahlin's ankle smarted painfully and she flinched as she saw Roy.


"Fancy..." She said meekly, a look of pain going across her face as she hobbled along.

Kai eyed the cat man, he seemed like a very proud and powerful warrior. He readjusted himself to better support the girl. "And who might you be?" He asked, tensing up slightly.

With her hair floating behind her, Shona barged into the dimmed tent. Her spit bubbles successfully going in and out of her mouth without a burst. She looked up from her amazing work, only to be emotionally dull to the beings ahead. Sucking in that saliva, she stepped up to the red boy and the leone.


"Well glad I could join in on the fabulous party, guys." She patted both on their shoulders.

I looked at the girl who entered in surprise. Who was she? No better yet, was she really this crazy? She seemed to have an aura about her though. It seemed like she was way stronger that she let on.

Shona began circling around her two three new friends. She gave the lupo a pat on the head.


"How cute" She smirked, "Is that leg of yours okay?"
