Fantasy Fantasy of Isis

Roy's eyes narrowed at the smug tone the tenshi responds to him, but shrugged it off. "Oh I'm sure someone here's heard of me." He sneered before walking off.

His attention turned back to his subordinate, who was talking to a half-leone female whom the rest of the rebels seemed to reguard very highly.

"She looks young, but she must be their higher up of some sort." He muttered to himself.

He casually strode over, head held high.

"It seems you've met my subordinate, heheh, she's a bit clumsy, I apologize. We're former mercenaries from the Red Blades. I'm here to offer my services, and I assume Dahlin is here for the same reasons, though she has much to learn." He said with a bow.

"I am Roy Lighmane. A pleasure to meet you, miss....?" He introduced himself, extending his hand to Shona.

@Secek

"She's pretty enjoyable. Might have to steal her from you." Shona teased Roy, giving him a bow.

"It's wonderful to meet you, Roy." Beaming at him as she took his paw hand, "Shona at your service."

~Ryu~

I slowly tip toed, trying to get away from Shona's crazy training. Hopefully she wouldn't try and grab me before I could escape. She always seemed to have a sixth sense about these things.

Kai was slowly drifting off to sleep, the peaceful night time atmosphere, combined with a long day, meant for quite the fatigued body. However he stayed awake, knowing how unwise it was to fall asleep outside in the open. Petra however was asleep, lightly dozing upon Kais shoulder. Lucky bird.Kai thought, he had unwillingly been elected to maintain watch on the duo. Petra and Kai snapped into full alertness at the appearance of a omunious shadowy figure who had spoken the them. Petra let out a loud warning screech, causing Kai to jump back with pain. "Shut up!" He yelled at her, his ear ringing. Petra stopped screeching and instead glared at the figure, her feathers bristleing with warning and her muscles ready to launch an attack. Though Kai was also ready to spring into an attack at any moment, he maintained his sat position, figuring that if the beast was going to attack, he wouldn't had exsposed himself. "And who might you be?" He asked curisoly. @Javax

Shona groaned whipping her whip out. She extended it with enough power to reach -and obtain- a Ryu.

"Not so fast, pretty boy." Still facing towards Roy.

Stratos yawned while walking threw the streets alone with a dual edged blade on his back that's black on top white on the bottom. Stratos eyes were scanning the area with his blue eyes much resembling the sky and his hair swayed in a sudden breeze the blue of his hair much like the ocean. Stratos sat down on a bench looking at a wanted picture of himself on a wall smiling as he saw his bounty increase to 200 thousand dollars for killing him "idiotic government" stratos said while laughing quietly

"Well Mortimer, I do believe that we have done our work for the day." Silas nodded and smiled at her lovely familiar.

"Aye, Miss Silas, although I don't believe our work is ever really done." The snake chuckled.

Silas giggled and bent down, reaching her hand down for Mortimer to slither onto her arm. "I suppose you're right. Well, we'll see, it was kind of a slow day anyway." Mortimer slithered up her arm, onto her shoulder, and wrapped up onto her left horn. Silas adjusted her belt which contained her mace and her bag full of herbs, potions, and various healing items. She looked up and around, scanning the area before heading down a dirt path heading south. As she strode down the path her hair and dress fluttered behind her making an illusion as if she were gliding across the ground. "You know, we've actually been having quite a few slow days, which probably isn't a good thing with the Rebellion in our kind of field of work. We should scan for new territory."

"Aye, that makes sense, Miss Silas." The snake nestled into the crown of her hair and rested.

Stratos got up from his short break and started walking on a path with his hands In his pocket stratos looked at a few guards heading his way and he smiled continuing to walk normally not caring about the guards. One of the guards put his hand on stratos shoulder "you shouldn't be here" said the guard with his hand on stratos "idiots" stratos said before he spun a sword with black on top and white on bottom, what was this a regular sword. No this was the yin and yang sword. Yin and yang were in the sword there physical bodies that is. Stratos grabbed the guards arm while he was turnt around and threw him at the other guard, stratos then charged at both guards his eyes changing from blue to red changing his goal from injure to kill. Stratos stabbed the first guard while he was on the floor and vulnerable, the other guard charged at stratos and sliced down his back, stratos growled at the sudden pain then aimed a powerful side kick to the guards ribs after stratos did this he would then slice the guard diagonally down his body leaving him without the top of his body. After killing the guards stratos eyes returned blue and he kept walking the cut on his back bleeding severally.

The Lupo's ears twitched in irritation at the loud screech, her sensitive ears ringing at the significant change in volume. Tenebris, standing beside her, growled lowly at the noise, clearly agitated. The two, however, continued to stay silent as the small dragon took care of the conversation.

Mortem simply let out a low chuckle at the Tenshi and his companion's reactions, amused. He noticed the rebel's caution and made sure to keep his distance. "
I am Mortem, and I am accompanying my companions, Shadow and Tenebris," he answered, being sure to use the assassin's alternate alias. The dragon gestured to the two on the ground as he mentioned them, making sure that the rebel and his hawk saw them. The shadowy companion awaited any more questions before he would state his business, recalling on his common courtesy.

Mortem? Shadow? Tenebris? Kai thought, not recognizing the strange names. Kai stood up, slowly, so to not alarm Petra or the shadowy dragon Mortem, Kai could still feel Petras angst to attack, he brought his hand up and began stroking her armored feathers to calm her. Kai looked towards the two figures on the ground, though he couldn't tell exact details about them, he could tell one was a person and the other was a animal, apparently a wolf. The person looked to be injured and being protected by the other. "Why exactly were you sent out?" Kai asked, wanting more details on the trios situation before he acted. @Javax

@ayumukatsuchia

Silas continued down the path eventually seeing a figure in the distance. She grips and readies her mace at her hip as focuses her vision. "Who's there?" She shouted out to the figure. Mortimer awoke and slithered up and around her horn, flicking his tongue into the air.

"Work," the shadowy companion answered bluntly. "My companion is a mercenary, and we knew there was a rebel camp some distance away of our location. We have been impressed by your efforts against the government officials and their heinous actions. However, we both know that you can never have enough allies. My companions and I can aid you in your battles. In exchange for some coin, of course." Mortem wasn't exactly lying; of course, saying that the Lupo was an assassin would create much unnecessary tension. They would suspect her to be there to assassinate one of the rebel leaders by order of either a commoner or a government official. They might also think the wolf-human hybrid is a spy for the government, which was another issue that the dragon hoped wouldn't come up. Obviously, the three weren't exactly on either side of the war; they were more so in the neutral area, using both opposing forces to their advantage to complete their work. However, asking to join the rebels might allow Roxii the necessary materials and necessities that she may need, such as armor, extra weaponry, consistent food and water, and a safe place to rest. He hoped the Tenshi couldn't see through his lie. "If you do not accept, I ask of you to allow my wolf hybrid companion a place to rest, for she has been traveling for six consecutive days now."

@Awesomeking

Kai rolled over the situation in his head, wondering whether to trust the dragon or not. "Mercenaries can hardly be trusted" Petra said spitefully. Kai thought about what his partner had said, though it was true that mercenaries often couldn't be trusted because of their thirst for coin, sometimes they did make useful allies. "Hush now, have you forgotten our roots so soon?" Kai asked softly to the hawk. Petra remained silent. Kai stroked his chin, pondering what to do; it seemed like helping the party was the best thing to do, some rebels might not take too kindly to helping a Lupo, a mercenary at that. However, Kai didn't quite care for what the other rebels thought. "Alright Mortem. I'll allow for you and your companions to rest at the camp for a little while. Though the rebels rarely ever hire mercenaries, perhaps your possible employment might come up in the future." Nodding to himself and agreeing with his plan, Kai was ready to help, he motioned forward with his hand, ready to go and see the other companions. "After you" he said. " @Javax

Xaelon sat in the back of the big care that was carrying her, she was being taken to a new castle as her master was planning to go there apparently and he wanted at least her there for those long nights or when he had extra energy. The car itself was fit for any high ranking member of her master's government as ruling even a country completely was tedious so lesser officials were needed. This car also had some troop transports to escort it though none of them knew just who they were guarding, that being their masters favorite toy rather than some general.

Still the trip was boring and she wished her master had come with her they could have had a lot of fun while the trip was made, but he was busy. Still she wondered if such a big transport would give those who fought her master a big target. Well it didn't matter she didn't see why they were fighting, having never really known freedom she didn't exactly understand the concept there was always her master, though in truth she was treated far better than even the other slaves in the palace . There was a reason for that but she wasn't allowed to think of that so it was because she was his favorite so her master let her wander and had made sure she had been taught.

Well there was nothing to do but wait for the ride to end her master had been kind enough to let her bring books for the ride so she could read but even that would get boring after awhile. Then there was looking outside but that got dull after it got dark and she had no one to talk to as there was a wall of metal between the driver and her, otherwise the driver might get tempted as her master had told her. She really wished that something would happen to at least last her till she got to the new castle.

~Keziah~

I looked at the car in interest. What was so special about this car that it had to be so heavily guarded? Hopefully we'd find out soon enough. Our orders were to get the person in the car and get out. That's all. No more no less. I quickly called upon Shi and we rushed forward towards the car, taking out the guards that dared to stand in our way. We silently hoped that the king wasn't in the car. We would be no match for him.

Xaelon had activated one of the myriad of gizmos and started up a music box that started playing various pre input songs to keep her entertained. She was not even aware the transport was under attack she didn't even think that the rebels would attack two transport trucks and if they did she thought they would be able to kill any attacker. She had no idea that outside a battle was going in truth she was thinking about taking a nap as she didn't know when her master would come to the castle and she didn't want to be tired when he got there.

Mortem bowed his head in thanks. "Your aid is greatly appreciated." As the Tenshi gestured for the dragon towards the Lupo and shadow wolf, Mortem turned and began his descent to his companions, alighting himself on Roxii's shoulder once again. He curled his tail back around as he was before and waited for the rebels to meet the trio.

Roxii's ear twitched in agitation. "
Why did you insist on us staying?" she growled telepathically. She didn't like the idea of working for the rebels; that meant that she'd have to fight for a side, which just wasn't her style. Neutrality was the area she maintained, balancing herself and walking along the grey line that separated the opposing forces.

"
You need rest, Alpha," the small dragon replied, using the title that her two companions normally used to assert her dominance. "If you are not rested, you are weak. And if you are weak, we are weak."

Tenebris let out a throaty chuckle. "
And if we are weak, we cannot protect you," the shadow wolf followed up truthfully, a hint of amusement lacing his voice after mimicking the dragon's way of speaking.

Mortem let out a low growl at the wolf's choice of humour but said nothing. Instead, Roxii filled the silence with a growl-like sound from her throat, clearly dissatisfied with the dragon making choices for her. However, she said nothing more and waited to meet the winged rebel.

Kai followed the dragon, alert to his surroundings, just to make sure that nothing odd was going on. As Kai approached the hybrid, he could tell that she was indeed highly exhausted, her companions weren't in much better shape. As the two companions guarded their master, Petra once more tensed her muscles in angst; "You're going to rip my arm off" Kai said jokingly, his arm beginning to hurt from your feet gripping him with such force. Immediately she let up the tension, apparently not having realized the pain she was inflicting, with a warning glance at the trio, she accelerated away from Kai's shoulder, flying to a nearby tree and taking up close watch on a large branch. The loss of weight on his shoulder made Kai sigh in relief, and he began moving his shoulder blade around in hopes of reliving some of the soreness that had built up. Once Kai was within a few feet of the other party, he stopped and observed them moreover; the second animal was a fairly large wolf, though he seemed to be of a similarly shadowy nature as his dragon friend, then their was the Lupo. Kai had worked with a few of the canine-human hybrids in his life, he usually didn't have problems with them, though the rest of the world certainly did, for some reason Lupos always seemed to be looked down upon, as if they were just dogs. Kai never really saw someone for their outside appearance, so stereotypes didn't have such a large effect on him, and he tried to keep it that way. He did note however, that the female Lupo was quite, attractive to his eye; though he shook the feeling quickly from his mind, not wanting it to cloud his actions. Kai stepped closer and extended his hand, offering a friendly hand shake to break the ice. His wings twitched with readiness to react to whatever might happen, and though he couldn't exactly see his hawk partner, he felt her ready herself for an attack even more. Despite his long life of not trusting others, he still was acting as if the woman was an ally, after all, he normally would never offer a handshake in such a suspicious circumstance. "The names's Kai Regnu, I'm a captain of the rebellion. Might I assume you're Shadow?" he said kindly, waiting to see whether she would grab his outreached hand. @Javax

Roxii noticed the winged male's tenseness as he approached them, and she understood him. The Lupo has always been anxious of meeting others, wondering whether or not they would set her up and try to attack her. And that was exactly how she felt right now. She didn't know this rebel, and he could turn on her at any given moment.

The Tenshi, whose name she learned was "Kai", held his hand out for a handshake and greeted her kindly. Roxii kept her stoic composure and grasped hands with him with a tight grip. She shook it and simply nodded, confirming his last inquiry. The wolf hybrid didn't really feel keen on speaking yet. A person's voice can reveal an abundance of qualities, including place of origin, personality, the way they think, and simply
who they are. Their accent, where they put stress in each word, how the rise and fall of their voice differs, and the harshness or softness of their voice are all telling qualities of who make up a person. But Roxii was a mysterious, unknown character, and she wanted to keep it that way.

Star opened her eyes slightly to the sun beating in from her small dirty window. In the dungeon she heard the screams of the men who were there and sighed. She picked up her water bucket before finally standing. Going to a hose in the wall she filled the water bucket and moved to give the water to the men screaming in the cages. This was her life now.

After being captured a few weeks earlier she has been a slave since. She was given only one meal a day and she had her weapons taken from her. Left alone in solitude the only thing to do is give water to prisoners. Only once has she seen the outside after she was captured and that was due to her trying to escape.

Star glanced up the hallway of the dungeon before she followed it and walked to the stairs. It led directly into the throne room where she saw the king himself. Forced to bow beneath his feet she glanced up. "I am no longer a rebel but a servant for the rest of my days." She repeated the slogan she was forced to say for the pasted few weeks. Not a rebel anymore... Forced to serve a king she hates with all her being. Her friends in the rebel forces forgot about her. Or else she would have been saved already...

Keziah clenched his fists after he finished this job he swore he would round up some people and rescue Star. He just had to she was a good friend and ally, but with her being in the king's castle it would be hard to get in there without the king noticing that's why they had been gathering information about the castle to get into it without being noticed. They weren't ready to face the king yet.

Star stood up in front of the king. Disdain clear in her eyes as she turned away from him. She needed to get a message out to the rebels. The king was leaving in a few days and they needed to be ready.

Glancing around the throne room for her weapons she signed. They weren't there. She quickly made her way back to the dungeon. Searching for her wolf or dragon. Seeing neither she looked for their weapons form. Finally! She saw a guard with her wolf. "Run far, run fast. Find the group that you knew last. Create a diversion to get you to the aversion. Find the rebel to get me out of trouble." She whispered the words knowing they would travel. The guard wouldn't remember her saying them but she knew it was enough for her wolf to wake up and try to escape.

Her wolf finally changing shapes but the guard and turned towards Star. Seeing Star shake her head and drop a piece of paper on the ground the wolf started for it. Finally grabbing the paper the wolf took off out the castle doors. Scenting the rebel forces nearby the wolf started to run towards them. Seeing Keziah the wolf ran towards him before dropping the paper at his feet. The paper had all the information about when the king was leaving and exactly where to get Star from. All the rebels had to do was get enough people to take out the guards, guarding star.

Xaelon only now noticed that the car had stopped moving, then she heard gunfire. They were under attack and that meant they would get to the castle latter than what she wanted. She had confidence that the soldiers could handle whatever the area could throw at them, they were after all guarding her. This made her want to watch the people being killed she had never seen a battle and any sparing match her master took part in was over before it started so this might be fun to watch.
