Nation Building Fallout New Days CC

I'm making a map right now for the start based on my estimates and your descriptions. It's missing a few, for example, all of the Brotherhood(s), the Legion, SPQA, The Minutemen, and anybody who's still not playing. If this is inaccurate for you or you can tell me where such things are, please do.

Look up a Chicago Metropolitan Area map sometime to make my faction's borders more accurate.

The Kingdom of Steel
History: After the defeat of the Master, the original Brotherhood found themselves at odds with their need for new blood versus their code of technological secrecy. The debate went lightly. Finally, the elders ruled against sharing the technology with outsiders, convinced that they would endure what they had before. Further discussion was discouraged when the elders ordered the minority who wished to share their technology on a mission across the wastes. The Brotherhood constructed airships and dispatched the minority East, to track down and assess the extent of the remaining super mutant threat. However, as they traveled over the great mountains a great storm broke the main airship and flung it far from its course. The mighty airship was badly damaged, the smaller sections were torn from the main craft and never to be seen again. Many of the expedition leaders, including Paladin Latham, were lost to the winds. The fraction of the crew that still survived, struggled to keep their ship aloft before finally crashing on the outskirts of the ruins of Chicago. Survivors eventually formed a new organization, which diverged greatly from the ideals of the old Brotherhood. In time, they established a harsh rule over the towns and villages in that area.

After long fights with countless raider bands, a warlike technological cult known as the Reavers, and a super mutant army led by mad Paladin Latham, a survivor of one of the other Brotherhood of Steel airships, in 2198 the Brotherhood eventually faced their greatest enemy - a robotic army commanded by the Calculator, the mad AI of Vault 0 in Colorado. Eventually, the robotic army was defeated and the Calculator was merged with a new mind. That of the Warrior.

Deep in the Warrior's heart the decision had been made long ago, to forfeit one's life for the security of others. What nobler end could there be? Sacrifices were always expected but to lose one's mortal shell and join with a machine is not an ending, instead it is a new beginning revolving around the rebirth of humanity. The first command to speed through the new Calculator's relays is the disabling of the active robotic forces averting the sterilization of all life on the continent. The Warrior's mind had proved itself exceptional time and again in the field of battle. Now working in conjunction with the Calculator's sheer processing power, a union between the Brotherhood of Steel and the robotic forces quickly takes shape.

The region sees new laws established to ease humanity back into civilized life, laws that are strictly enforced by the combined patrols of Brotherhood soldiers and pacification robots. To speed the unification process discrimination against mutants is outlawed, many prejudices are eliminated through education or the harsh implementation of Brotherhood Justice. The willingness to overcome differences opens avenues of recruitment that would otherwise remained unutilized. Mutated creatures that wish to live in peace under the new regime are welcomed, though hesitantly into the population. Old hatreds and fears are soon forgotten as the task at hand becomes apparent; humans, ghouls, super mutants and deathclaws all work together to begin transforming the wastelands into a post nuclear utopia. The combined knowledge of the Brotherhood and Calculator's databases are a powerful tool for reshaping the world and no time is wasted. Technology is slowly re-introduced into the land; irrigation systems are established bringing water to the barren soils for the first time in decades.

New settlements spring up as land becomes fertile once again, with places of learning becoming the hubs of the fledgling civilization. A combination of old world science with new world wisdom paves the way to higher understanding and unity amongst the population. The new regime begins to expand across the wasteland absorbing towns and villages and quickly dispatching those who would halt progress. Soon the Brotherhood is protector to a string of settlements, as the Brotherhood's power grows so does it's hold on the wasteland but one question remains; what will happen when this young civilization encounters the original knowledge-hoarding Brotherhood of Steel? The Scribes and Elders prepare for the meeting and hope to put differences in the past, as the future of mankind hangs in the balance. But that is a battle for another day, and perhaps another hero.

When the Enclave arrived from the Bowels of Chigcago the MWBoS under the guidance of their Elder they opted instead to leave Illinois taking all those who would follow and their tech, he saw war as stunting their growth instead of helping it, he instead decided to move and expand into Minnesota to rendezvous with the BoS stationed there and to get more farmland and more room to grow.

They differ from the rest of the Brotherhood as they are willing to accept non-humans into their ranks. During the war with the Calculator, the Midwestern Brotherhood's forces consisted of survivors from the expedition, human recruits from tribes and towns, ghouls, sentient (hairy) deathclaws, some super mutants (many recruits came from defeated enemy forces), and machine legions from Vault 0.

After about 20 years though the wasteland improved the land was still to dry farm effectively, the MWBoS was able to cover up the existence of the Calculator by putting in all of their Guardian Robots, a few dozen turrets, 20 passification bots, and lining it up with explosives as a final precaution Sealing the vault door shut, welding steel upon it's entrance and destroying the cave they removed all evidence of it's existence except for a tree which bore the BoS seal on it, they marked it on their map one day intending to return to the Calculator. They only have one remote link to the calculator, a data-pad that revives text back and forth, this would have to do. 2203 the MWBoS packs up and leaves Midwestern America, along the way they get Intel, some man power, and supplies from the Montana BoS.

In the Year 2207 the entirety of the MWBoS makes it to Ottowa and sets up a base there, with a new way of life so far from the BoS they change their name to: The Kingdom of Steel. It changes Parliament Hill and the surrounding Area into a Huge military base for it's operatives. They keep the old chain of command because it is the best system they know of. They disconnected from the BoS establishing their own High Elder, later in the cities of Toronto, Kingston, and Detriot, all who answer directly to the High Elder. Within the last they began to start up schools in the region teaching young wastelanders and converting the children to their Philosophies and views.

Is the Minnesotan BOS chapter canonical at all? Where did you get the know-how to both restore and fly (aside from the vertibirds and airship) aircraft? Wasn't the one Sherman tank the Midwest BOS was known to have destroyed battling the Calculator as evidenced by the video below? Where would they find a second one and how would they repair the first they had?

Updated Map, with my estimation of where the Legion is, which may be sorely wrong. Also, Jesus, Pat Pat , calm down. I doubt this needs to follow strict Fallout canon.

That is only one ending the ending mine is based off of it didn't get destroyed, I assumed they had more than one but I can change it. They have aircraft in Tactics and the BoS had military info as well as the info to learn how to pilot one, Montana is I must have mistyped that sorry

(I keep forgetting to label Vegas. Oh well, they don't seem that important.)
I'm just asking questions. Plus, you don't remember when Lock was the Technolegion. Or that time when me, Boethiah, and Lock were the Technolegion. Good times.

*shivers*

This faction looks fine though.

This cinematic plays regardless of the ending. There's a Sherman tank in a park that I know of in Crosby, Minnesota. It had most of the parts removed though. Can you link me quick to some article about the aircraft in Tactics? And wouldn't learning to pilot a jet, even with a few instruction books, be incredibly deadly for the first time trying?

Vegas isn't in the correct location and Caesar is spelled wrong.
You can chalk that up to bad projection and me not spell-checking. The NCR's Borders should be a bit more East as well, but according to the player who is playing the NCR, they have not made advancement past Vegas, and that's where I put Vegas, so.

Forgot about that picture.

How many fighter jets would really be in the Midwest though? And why would they be salvageable? Most air-worthy aircraft were chasing down Chinese bombers or trying to cross the Pacific when the Great War happened.

I was thinking more of the ones that would be stationed in Canada as the main source i think only a few would be in the Midwest

Why would the USAF have a presence in Canada and why would presumably functioning fighters (at the time of the Great War) stay grounded?

because you wouldn't be able to get them all up in time, and the USAF was supposedly fighting in Canada around the time of the great war, as well as the anexation

Since I'm pretty sure nobody will want to play as the Followers, should I just put them in where they belong? Or just leave them off?
