You do know,no one gives a shit about the peninsula, so it would not be directly hit by a nuke. That farming shit is good in some parts, as for tourism, who knows, maybe pilgrams from all over the east coast come to the land to see the pope. Also create a trade hub and you can use a merchant fleet to transport goods.
