Falling Worlds - Exile's Pack [Inactive]

She looked at him, and blew out a puff of air, ruffling her fur. " So, what do you suggest we do now Scar?" She looked around, most of the other wolves looked pretty shaken up, but they were doing their best to stay calm. " Do you think we should go find the alpha too? Exile..." Luna sighed, walking in a circle, her black paws hitting the ground in anxiety, " ...I hope she's all right. She was wounded pretty badly."

Cane: I growled lowly, but not out of defiance, out of frustration.. I nodded in respect to the betas.. "Yes betas.. As you wish.." I said before looking at Kira and stalking off into the human building.. I put my nose to the ground looking for Exile's scent.. I would have waited for the others but I wanted to be left alone.. It was a bit dark in here except for a few bits of sunlight that came in through the windows..

I continued on following the Alphess' scent deep into the building.. Why were faes so damned difficult? I growled to myself as I stalked through the halls.. "Exile?" I called once.. That was the last time I would call.. I found blood droplets and followed them, soon finding Exile in a room deep with in the building.. I came in silently.. Laying on the floor far from my silent Alphess.. I knew how some wolves were.. When they got frustrated they wanted silence..

Exile was laying inside what once was a human lap deep within the labyrinth of the human building. The tree's roots even were ever present here, providing the smallest of holes to let sunlight seep into the room. Exile was laying, her breathing labored as she slept. Her wound dripped blood that mixed with the water dripping from the cold walls. Her fur shifted lightly to her breathing, showing the large scar on her left side where the rock spike hit at the center of her ribs. Exile was weak from the fight but she still was on some level alert to what was going on around her.

Exile hated showing the side of her that was the most like Morgan. She would have killed Blood while in the depths of the raging emotions caused by her power. Her body ached with the extertion put on it by her power. She lifted her ears up and opened her eyes to look at Cane. Exile lifted her head to stare at him. Longer and longer the silence grew before Exile spoke. "Blood, is she alright?" Her calm voice echoed on the walls.

Scarkill looked at Luna and shook his head no. "The rest of the wolves need sight of their leaders. They need reassurance." He said as he gazed at Exile's den. He too wished to know if Exile would be alright but he had duties up here. He looked at Luna, she needed comfort as well. "Exile is a strong wolf, stronger then any of us will know. She has suffered far worse in the past." He said thinking onto the scar that marked her left side, the day she told him of how she got the mark was one he fell silent to. He managed to pull out a very rare smile to calm the wolves.

Black Lake was over nuzzling his sister to calm her down as well.

Cane: I nodded.. "She'll be alright.." I said, speaking finally, I looked at the alphess, my eyes showing nothing.. Just a shadow of who I was supposed to be.. "Everyone is more worried about you.." Everyone that is, but me.. I had something that most didn't, a sense of reality.. I knew the Alphess would be ok, so I was in no hurry to find her.. I took my time, and as a result here she was in front of me.. To be honest I thought what happened was stupid, and of Blood would act this way constantly then she shouldn't be with the pack.. She was a danger to us..

I stared at Exile, my amber eyes studying her.. I swallowed trying to sooth my sore throat.. We should be heading back.. The others might think I had gotten lost too..

Exile nodded to him slowly. "I see, what happened up there shouldn't have happened. I should have been able to control my power and not get lost in my frustration with Blood." Exile slowly started to stand. She was unstable but for the most part still standing strong. She looked at Cane, her eyes showing many emotions but at the same time nothing. She looked up at the sunlight peeking into the room. "We should return then." She said starting to walk again.

Adi Sapphira walked up looking at Exile. She sighed deeply. "I am sorry Exile." Adi Sapphira spoke softly to Exile. "I should have seen this coming. I urged you to become alpha but I should have taken into account that Blood would resent you taking over as Alpha." She added and looked at Exile. She seemed so weak yet so strong and Adi Sapphira was amazed how Exile could hold onto that certain aura that demanded respect. She bowed her head deeply, apologetically to her alpha.

"What happen was no one's fault but my own. I should have dealt with Blood before this all happened. Now I will correct my mistake. I gave Blood a chance to still be a leader but now, I will no longer be tolerant to her." Exile's voice took on a harsher tone. She looked at Cane for a moment before looking at Adi Sapphira. "You are promoted to Alpha Fighter, Blood is now omega." She said in a commanding tone causing Adi Sapphira to only nod. Adi Sapphira knew Blood's reaction wouldn't be happy at all but Blood had left Exile with no choice other then banishment which Adi Sapphira knew Exile was trying to avoid at all costs. Exile walked past Adi Sapphira to head to the surface.

Cane: "Exile.. You are a wonderful Alphess.. I don't want you to think I believe any different.." I said, calling her by her name for the first time since I met her 2 years ago.. My voice was calm, strong, and deep.. Like the words I spoke meant more than they said.. I then nodded and followed her out..

When we got outside I took a deep breath, calmed by the silence of the room they had left. I could see while Exile chose to go there. When she looked at me I smiled a bit, glad she had made a decision.. One only she could make.. I bowed slightly giving her the respect she deserved.. Then stood watching what unfolded..

Exile nodded to Cane before she stood looking around at the pack. "As punishment for challenging me, Blood has been demoted to omega. Adi Sapphira is now Alpha Soldier." She spoke out with conviction and strength. She turned and walked into Kira's den where she let herself fall limp to the floor, her pained and sore body ready to sleep. Exile let Kira fuss and start to heal her while Heart watched carefully worried for her mother. Blood had been moved into her own den to continue healing.

Scarkill watched as Exile told them of Blood's demotion. He nodded silently to himself before looking over at Adi Sapphira, she was more like the type to rule from behind the scenes. Exile followed protocol but wither or not Exile would place Adi Sapphira somewhere else remained to be seen. He quickly took over as Exile once again disappeared but this time to be healed. He looked above them and growled a bit. Birds had stirred above, their huge eyes looking down for an signs of a dead wolf to eat. He barked at them to try and get them to shoo. They would only attract more dangerous animals to the camp. "Darn scavengers." He mumbled under his breath.

Cane: I sighed, glad things were calmer then laid down.. I went back to my quieter self though my throat still hurt from my bark.. I would see Kira later, but for now Exile needed her. My bark tore up my vocal chords, which made my voice raspy.. For now I would keep to my silence.. It was better anyway..

Eternal came back with a small elk dragged by Cub and Black lake. No one had touched the meat since it was the Alpha's right to eat first. Eternal laid down tiredly, the old wolf yawned loudly and stretched out his sore legs. Normally everyone went out on the hunt which meant the meal didn't have to be dragged far but he had wanted to calm nerves and hunting was one of the best ways to do it. He laid his head back on his paws waiting for Exile to come out.

Exile was finished healing for now. She came out, still sore and tired. She looked as the hunting party came back. Truly not expecting them to drag the meal back she approached. Nodding her thanks to them she decided to dig in, knowing they wouldn't eat their hard earned meals until she did. As a pack, it was rather rare for her not to hunt with them but she knew why Eternal took them out so soon.

Heart quickly came in, grabbed some meat and dropped it off at Blood's den. She was much more severe then Exile so she didn't want Blood up and moving. Heart returned to the meal to eat her far share.

Cane: I got up after Exile came out and went to the door way of Kira's den.. I never really went in without an invitation.. But I didn't really go to the door way to go in.. I turned around and laid in my usual spot.. I didn't have my own den.. Because I didn't want one.. Usually I slept outside Kira's den.. Most thought it was because I was trying to protect her while she slept at night.. Which was partially true.. However I also did it to be closer to her..

I put my head down and laid silently.. Closing my eyes.. I let out a sigh of relief, as my muscles relaxed.. Fighting among pack mates drove me insane.. Now that it was solved I was free to relax..

Kira walked out of her den to see Cane. "Oh, hi again." She said as she sat down next to him with a light smile. "Thank you for finding Exile. I was worried she wouldn't come out anytime soon. If that happened I wouldn't be so sure I could have prevented scarring again." She looked at Exile who was laying on a root of the tree that rested over her den. She smiled lightly, glad at least for now her sisters where ok.

Crown was sleeping in the forest. He perked his ears when he heard loud flapping. Crown lifted his head for a moment before a tree branch crashed down. He jumped into the air out of surprise. Looking up there was a large Eagle screeching loudly, he had to pin his ears back. Crown cried out in fear and raced away. "CRAAAAP! I CAN'T BE EATEN BY A BIRD THAT'S SO EMBARRASSING!" He ran at full speed towards Exile's territory again. "Please...save me!" The bird quickly was following behind him, swooping down to try and catch him.

Cane: I jumped a bit when Kira spoke.. I had had my eyes closed.. "Hi.. Uh sure.. No problem.." I said then cleared my throat, my voice was raspy, my throat sore from the sonic boom.. I looked at Exile.. It seemed we had an unspoken understanding of each other.. One even I couldn't explain.. I sat up stretching a bit.. "She's a good leader.. I think she just feels a bit lost.." I said honestly.. I said lost because wolves who were confident in themselves wouldn't have escalated that far..

My ears perked up hearing a wolf's cry for help.. "Stay here.. I'll be back shortly.." I said then ran off.. I saw a large eagle soaring above, then I saw it's prey.. Crown, a rogue.. I tried to howl but my voice box was shot, and my voice cracked.. So I barked again.. Which could be heard from miles away.. I then coughed several times blood coming up..

Adi Sapphira raced to the scene. She looked at Cane and then narrowed her eyes at Crown. She nodded and then looked around for an idea on how to lose the bird. Adi Sapphira's attention turned to a vulture's nest. She nodded to herself and then raced out. Adi Sapphira ran, gathering water from the ground with each time her paws hit the ground. She spun it in the air and splashed the Eagle into a tree.

Crown heard the bark and switch directions. He spotted Adi Sapphira and headed towards her. He stopped panting as she distracted the Eagle with blasts of water. "What...now?" He said between pants. He looked up at the fae who raced off somewhere, so he of coursed followed. He glanced behind him to see the bird following the two of them. "Great Idea." He grumbled out as he ran but she ignored him.

Adi Sapphira stopped under the tree that held the vulture's nest and grabbed Crown by the back of his neck and pulled him in. She spit out a bit of his fur irritated. Crown looked at her questioningly but she just stared at him. When the eagle got close, the mother vulture attacked defending her nest. Adi Sapphira smirked as the two much larger birds fought each other. She then raced back with Crown in tow to Cane.

Crown waited until the eagle flew off before falling on his side as he panted hard. "I...hate....birds." He said his mouth dry. He looked at Adi Sapphira and smiled widely at her but she once again ignored him. He looked at Cane. "Hey man, thanks for the heads up." He said and then sniffed smelling blood. He looked to see a bit of blood on the brute's muzzle. "Hey dude you ok?"

"His sonic bark can cause damage. He should probably see Kira." She said and then stretched her long legs out before yawning. "But the wolf is shy around her." She said. She was observant and the brute's actions towards Kira were interesting to watch. More interesting then the over flirty brute currently laying at her side.

Crown snickered. "That fae? She's so nice although I tried to flirt with her but she didn't take a hint. I don't think she knows anything about the intentions of a male." He snickered but Adi Sapphira growled.

"Don't you dare try it either." She warned him and then smirked. "because I know a certain alpha who would kill you the second you tried." She said and smirked in satisfaction at Crown's large nervous gulp. "Come on brute. You'll be safe at camp for a while." She said as she started walking back.

Cane: I tried growling when Crown mentioned trying to flirt with Kira, but all that did was cause me to cough up more blood.. I'd tear into him before Exile had a chance to throw him out.. I followed Adi Sapphira back to the pack.. All the while keeping an eye on Crown.. With my voice like this.. He wouldn't get a warning if I decided to attack.. What I did with Kira was my business.. Even then, I would protect her with my life..

When we got back I went over to Kira again.. The same nervous feeling arose again as it usually did, and even if my vocal chords weren't damaged.. I would have remained silent..

Kira looked at Cane and her nose twitched. She sighed and then walked over to him with a small smile. "My most repeating patient today aren't we?" She asked before she nodded her head toward her den. "Come on inside. I think I have some medicine that can take care of this." She said as she headed for her den. She knew his bark often made his throat sore, but apparently if he kept using it, it would do damage. She didn't mind, though he probably did. He seemed so quiet around her, she didn't know why, but some wolves were just like that when it came to healers or so Kira assumed.

Cane: I smiled a bit, then my tail actually wagged.. I was very careful about what my tail did, I knew it could give me away in an instant.. Most didn't know what I was feeling, because aside from anger in most cases I didn't show emotion.. I went inside after Kira, my body relaxed instead of it's usual tension..

Throughout the 2 years I had been with the pack I had always stayed close to Kira, whether or not she had noticed was a different story, but aside from Exile.. I was probably one of the wolves Kira had seen on a regular basis, and by regular I mean I wasn't far out of sight.. Not to mention I slept just outside her den every night..

Kira walked in and instructed Heart to make some medicine for Cane. She stopped and watched over the pup for a while. She nodded once it was finished and grabbed an old bowl, it was found in the human building connected to Exile's den. It was a simple white bowl. Kira pushed the odd smelling liquid to Cane. "Here, it'll help. After it starts to take effect I will start my healing. It should also help to make the flesh around her throat stronger if only a little." She said smiling and wagging her tail happily.

Cane: I drank the medicine without any complaints.. Then started to get a bit tired from it so I laid down.. I did feel better.. Enough to sleep, but I didn't.. I lay on my side, content to be inside after always staying outside.. I watched Kira, my mind wandering aimlessly.. I was sure she could see the tiredness in my eyes, as most could..

Kira healed his neck quickly and then smiled at him. "You can sleep here. I don't mind." She said and walked over to a collection of grasses, feathers, and even furs. "You can sleep here, even...much more comfortable then outside me den." Kira said quietly before sitting down with a smile on her face. She looked over at Heart who glanced their way every once in a while but kept to her work. Under Kira's instruction the fae had learned most of the ways of a healer. Kira couldn't be prouder.

Cane: I chuckled when she mentioned where I tend to sleep.. "Thank you.." I thanked her for not just healing my throat but telling me I could sleep inside.. I closed my eyes tiredly.. I didn't know what else to say.. Otherwise I might have opened my mouth.. I remained silent as usual.. Maybe I would get to the point of being able to carry a conversation with her..

Kira smiled thoughtfully before she continued her work. Exile needed a few medicines to help her continue to heal, and Blood needed even more. She watched as Heart stopped suddenly and search out something, using only her eyes. "What's the matter Heart?" Kira asked as she set down another bowl.

"There's an odd feeling going around. It's like someone is stirring them up." She said before she yelped as Crown walked in. She hid behind Kira as she stared out at all the emotions surrounding Crown, most of the faes liked this wolf, but he had some strange colors around him. She tilted her head to the side. So that was the wolf causing the strange emotions, she was use to the faes emotions changing around Crown but perhaps Crown himself was feeling something for one of them? She didn't know. However, looking closer it appeared Crown wasn't feeling well in the physical sense.

Kira chuckled lightly. She knew faes really liked Crown, perhaps that was what Heart was picking up on. "Crown, I see your sticking around again. What did you want to see me about?" She asked as Crown approached.

"I'm afraid I'm not feeling to well." He said pinning his ears back as he pulled a weak smile out. "Heh, stepped on a thorn bush and my paw hurts but I feel sick to my stomach." He said as he sat down. "Excuse me if I throw up in here." He said weakly.

Heart nodded and instantly went for the poison cures. She knew there were some flowers that were highly toxic. Kira looked at the swollen paw he held up for her. Kira nodded to Heart and Heart brought a smelly green cream. Kira carefully pulled out the thorn with her teeth and placed the cream on the paw. Heart went to work quickly, bringing in water, salt and other substances.

Kira sighed. "That should help a bit, but I'm afraid you'll have to rest here for a while." She said and Crown flopped to his side with a groan of pain. Kira pinned her ears back in pitty for the brute. Heart looked at Kira and then sighed, he was feeling pretty miserable, and Heart's ability to see emotions proved he wasn't faking either. He truly felt awful.
(@Sarah , @LannaRae Sorry guys I was busy this week. Here's my post and since I didn't get to say it before, Merry Christmas)

Cane: My eyes snapped open when Crown walked in.. I quieted my growl so it didn't slip out.. Sick or not I didn't like him being here.. With Kira.. He never gave me a good feeling.. Regardless of most of the faes liking him.. I swore to myself right then.. If he tried anything at all I would rip him into pieces and leave him for the birds.. And I would tell him so.. But not in front of Kira and Heart..

Exile entered into Bloods den. "Blood!" Exile said, looking at the injured fae looked up. Exile swallowed the guilt that rose up, the fight never should have happened and Exile took the blame but the fae had challenged her one to many times. "You have been in position of leadership, however, you have shown no signs of being the alpha soldier I had hoped. Your refusal to obey my commands and challenge me have lead me to strip you of your rank. Adi Sapphira succeeds you, you are now an omega." She said her head held high and her tail straight out behind her in an alpha stance.

Blood growled lowly but she couldn't move. "You beat me down and now take my rank? You are no alpha you are a b****." She growled but Exile stood tall, staring down at her with no signs of weakness. Blood wouldn't be able to back up her words. Blood stared in pure anger at Exile.

Exile's ears twitched at the name. She stared questioningly at Blood before she turned around. "The fight between us never should have happened, but you are leaving me little choice." She said and then walked out with her head held high. She looked at her pack, and started to walk around camp, thinking on how to handle Blood. There was no winning with the enraged fae....anything that had to do with Exile angered her. Exile glanced at the rest of her family, was it her past Blood couldn't forgive? Did the others hate her as well? Were they hiding it? Exile shook her questions from her head. No, she would lead the pack, she would not be in doubt. Suffering in silence was Exile's way and she would come out strong...no matter what it took.

Kira watched over Crown for a moment, keeping a close eye on the suffering wolf. She noticed Cane was awake and gave him a smile before continuing with her work. She shook out her fur and stretched herself out with a bit of a yawn. "To much excitement today....Heart?" Kira looked to see Heart staring at Crown. "Heart!"

"Um sorry! He's just such interesting colors around him! I'm not sure if its other people's emotions resting on him!" Heart stated as she walked up to Kira. Kira stared at her disbelievingly but let it go. The young fae was reaching the age that meant she would soon come into adult hood. Either way Kira continued teaching Heart.

Black Lake on the other hand was watching his mother. He looked to Cub and the other guards who were beginning their rounds. Black Lake quickly caught up with him. He stared at Cub amazed how the silly wolf turned serious when he played the role of Alpha guard.

"Black Lake, Silver you're with me on the north end of the territory. Let's go." Cub said ignoring Black lake's sigh. No one really liked to be paired with Cub, because he never got tired and never stopped in his rounds. He put his head up high and stared down at the wolves as they separated.

Cane: I smiled back at Kira then focused entirely on Crown.. Make a move I dare you was the look on my face.. I was sure everyone knew how I felt about Kira.. Except for Kira.. And I was in no way going to watch another male try to woo her.. Mine.. Was my next thought..

Crown was to miserable to care about how Cane was looking at him. He glanced at Cane before turning his head away and yawning tiredly. He smiled and thanked Kira as she gave him something to help his stomach while the cure to the poison did its job. He closed his eyes ignoring the faes watching from outside, he didn't care about them at the moment, he didn't care that Heart was watching him, he just wanted to sleep.
