I take offense primarily to the assumption that one can simply look at a character's sheet and then use the information gained there in-character. Secondarily, I describe him as not living as a vampire in the bio, though it's my fault for not specifying that he doesn't drink blood.

Pretty much this. The smell of earth and death is usually how I describe it, and it makes sense, and it's canon in tons of other RP's I've been in..

But we're not in those "tons of other RPs" you're citing. I default to base vampire lore, and as SkippyGranola has explained, neither smell is really part of vampire lore without being attached to another piece, plus a bit of stretching. As Oscar was never buried, though, it's safe to assume it doesn't apply to him. After all, he never "died".

Mate. I simply added something I'm used to doing in other RP's. I didn't intend to start an argument on whose point of lore in a freaking fantasy RP was better or not, and quite frankly I don't intend on continuing it. If I'm offending your 'muh meta' senses I shall edit it. I didn't intend to abuse the information whatsoever, nor did I intend to go any further than a simple quip in the RP. Even though you technically don't control vampire lore in this RP I'll edit it out, simply to make you feel better, and stop this insanely inane argument. Mk? Cool.

Didn't intend to be holier than thou, sarcastic I may be however. I just simply refuse to argue about something so stupid, when technically no one is right and each have their own views on lore and how a species should be played or handled. Very original half vampire idea, by the way.
