Illoi Kotori Illoi walked towards her, pressing her hands together and drawing them apart again. A replica of her mace appeared, and she swung it around as she stood over Allison. "You hear that? I can't actually kill you." She giggled, bringing the mace to a stop as she swung it towards Allison's shoulder. She aimed to injure, not to kill. It wasn't like she couldn't heal it up after words anyways.

"Mmph. Nah bro. Don't swing that way." He called, carefully lining up Aurum, and firing off three well placed shots. That, after all, was all he needed to redirect his bullets elsewhere: into the ground around his feet. This man wasn't a match for him, marksman-wise. He may have a few tricks up his sleeve, but he was the best shot to have ever been born. None could stand up to him. Speaking of... "This ought to help..." He muttered, firing a shot at Allison's scraped leg, hoping to punch a hole through it. With that, he aimed his final bullet- this time for Sage's kneecap- and fired.

If it hit, then it'd of course cripple him, but not only that, it'd bounce off of the floor behind his knee, and proceed to slam into the audience wall, then ricochet at Allison's side, hopefully punching a hole through her obliques. If it missed, and he jumped, then he'd have a nasty time, as the bullet would punch through his stomach. If neither of those things happened, though, then the bullet would simply follow its trajectory for Allison as previously mentioned. Immediately after firing his bullet, he landed and rolled to the right, just in case Sage fired a shot at his landing point.

He glared, angrily, between both Veyd and Malorn, his rage seething, Falin only adding insult to injury. It was obvious they were only serving to anger him more and more. It was as if they wanted him to kill them. He was tempted, oh so tempted, to simply blast them all to smithereens, but considering Falin and Veyd weren't his targets, plus they were in a crowded restaurant, he couldn't hope to do so. Plus, he had to deal with Ikari first. So, instead of breaking out his HOLY power, he instead opted to again argue with them, his rage bubbling up with every word those idiots said to him.

"You, the one in the hood, what are you, an idiot?!" He whipped his head to face him, eyes narrowed with anger. "Do you not understand what the hell Baelgrad stands for?! He's LIFE's opposite, his only reason for existing is to kill LIFE! All Demons- pure-blooded ones, anyways- are his children, and are born of his vile essence. Their only reason for existing is to destroy, maim, and slaughter all that comes their way!" He pinched the bridge of his nose, this yelling and anger giving him a massive migraine. "Gah! It's like you're from a universe that doesn't have these two opposing forces! I don't care if you think you're some all powerful, all knowing being, because if you can't understand what Baelgrad wishes to accomplish then you have no place to judge me! There is no "other side" to the story- there's only Baelgrad and his followers and the Crusaders of Life!"

He then turned on Malorn, a vicious sneer on his face. "Oh, yeah, right. Is that why you came all this way? Just to tell me not to kill you, because you "don't serve Baelgrad"? That's exactly what a demon that fears for his life would say! I don't care what you claim you are- you're next, 'Mark'. There's no redemption for you Grand Demons, whose atrocities far outweigh all other demons. If I wasn't already dealing with this disgusting Half-Demon, then I'd blast you to kingdom come!" He growled at the thought that this Demon honestly thought that his ice was all he had. It was disgusting to see just how powerful he thought he was. He'd be glad to wipe that grin off of his face. Then, he turned on Falin.

"Oh really? I've killed none in that shop! As I said, I only kill those who get in my way! Those who impede my job of killing Demons aren't anymore innocent than those who impede on a policeman's arrest of a wanted criminal! I do whatever requires the least amount of energy to get what's in my way out of my way- and if that's cold blooded murder, then so be it! If it's crippling them so they can't interfere, then so be it! If it's simply pushing them out of the way, then so be it!" He hung his head, eyes blazing a hole in the pavement with the anger that seethed within. "My job comes above all things- if I do my job, then I don't die. If I do my job, then I can live a happy life for as long as I have left on this world." He glared up at them. "So shut up, and wait your turn, got that?! I'll be sure to reduce you all to black stains on the floor if you get in my way, understand? Don't try and defend that Grand Demon, otherwise you'll end up dead too."

Dearest. Cute. He sighed, setting his menu down, having already decided on what he wanted: the premium steak and some water. He wasn't that hungry. He closed his eyes, and reclined more into his seat, thinking. He wasn't exactly sure, at first, why he spared Nyr. His first (and normal) response would've been because Aquios begged him to do it, but the answer was a little deeper than that. It wasn't hope. It wasn't love. It wasn't pity. It wasn't any good, lovey-dovey happy-ending kind of answer.

"...I saved you because I was tired." He muttered, opening his gold eyes, and looking down at Nyr, before bringing himself from his reclined position to one where he sat up straight. "I'll save you the sad parts of it, and simply say that I was tired. Tired of the same things happening every day, night, week, year. I was tired of the constant, predictability of life." He chuckled, running his nails across the table. "I saved you because I wanted things to change. And you know what?" he gave her a small smile. "You really have changed things for me, Nyr. I... I don't know if I'll ever be able to do for you what you've done for me in the little time I've known you, but I'll try, that's for sure. I'm just surprised that you didn't find me hideous." He shook his head.

"I'm not sure how you could find this-" he gestured to himself hollowly, "-anything but ugly, given what it's done. I know exactly how I'd feel if I saw this."

Heidt smirked, spinning Aurum on his finger, before snapping the magazine open, and dumping the empty cases on the ground. "Pfft. If you're crippled, you can't fight. Plus, you can recover. Don't be such a little bitch Sage." He reloaded methodically, ignoring the raging battle between fire and water between Illoi and Allison. Welp, this poor sap was about to have a bad time. The instant it was reloaded, he aimed it at Sage, a cocky grin on his face. "Stop this." In a flash, he fired three bullets at Sage- one for each of his kneecaps, and one for the space on the ground between his feet. This bullet'd bounce up, ricochet off the light above, and strike him in the lower back, as long as he didn't move. Then, he fired one last shot at Allison once again, this time aiming for her leg. "Try and stop all these, if you want."
Allison grabbed the mace at roughly the same time a bullet pierced her leg, she cried out in pain but didn't feign from her task. The force of the mace itself from blocking it with her hand alone cracked her wrist, but she gripped it tightly and held it in place. She stared directly into Illoi's eyes, unless she shielded them somehow in a matter of a minute she would succumb to madness as visions of hell itself and her own torture and the torture of the ones she loved filled her mind. That was also of course, if she didn't knock Allison out.

Sage looked out in shock and fear. " Allison!. Ok we give up. " Sage yelled and the referee called the match as medics came out and some went over to Sage while the others went to Allison.

Amitola, and Luna stood, and entered the arena without a so much of a word. "Remember the plan." Luna said to Amitola.

The sky went dark over the city as Luna, raised her crescent blade to the sky. Amitola Planted her staff in the ground.

Illoi Kotori The images had just started when Allison's partner called out. She tore her gaze away from Allison, glancing at Sage in shock. Well then. That was easy. She backed away from the girl, feeling a little bit disturbed at what she had glanced. She headed over to Heidt, brushing the dust off of herself. She smirked a bit. "There, we won the first round. Happy?" She giggled a little bit.

Nyr Frostbane Nyr nodded a little, frowning just a touch. Well, that was something, she supposed. She picked at her napkin for a bit, biting her lip. When he spoke again, she offered a half-hearted smile. "Falcon...I find beauty in everything. I don't care what you think about yourself, or what you'd do if you saw yourself, I think you're just fine. Really." She took his hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. She sighed softly, looking at the table. She thought about what he had said, and it bothered her a little bit. she didn't understand why, it just did.

"Well...we have an apartment now. Just you and me. That alone is enough to make me happy, Falcon. That and the fact that you're willing to do things for me. Tired or not, I'm happy that we're here." She a little bit, offering a shy smile. She wasn't good with this whole touchy feely thing, and she wasn't even sure if she'd done a good job explaining things. When the waiter came, Nyr didn't let go of his hand as she ordered her meal and drink.

Falin could only give a small snort and shake her head at his speech. Such a temper, not to mention the pure lack of maturity in him. At least as far as combat was concerned. There was no sense in reasoning with this one, especially if he couldn't tell his attacks had indeed left many of the restaurant's patrons injured. "Things aren't so black and white in our world, boy." She said turning away from him, "Now I strongly suggest you focus on your real opponent before you're impaled."

Saying what needed to be said, the Immortal focused on tended to the wounded and getting everyone out of the way. It was only a matter of time before Melchio, in his blind rage, brought this entire building down on top of everyone. Besides, she was never one for the cold and right now it felt like she was standing in the middle of Skyrim. Low growls filled the sir as several spectral creatures appeared at her side. Falin used them to help carry and defend the innocents caught in the crossfire of this fight.

'Valenwood's well enough.' She responded telepathically without missing a beat. 'As for the rest of Nirn . . . it's Nirn, I have no reason to interfere with the constant squabbles over land and resources.' Falin knelt, lifting an unconscious man and holding him across her shoulders. The Bosmer was far stronger than her small stature made it seem. However, she quietly cursed her inability to cast any kind of healing magic to help the wounded. The salves and bandages she carried would have to due until help could arrive.

"Hum... kill, all of one side to prevent death. How ironic." Daniel said to himself muttering every word, "Excuse me but why are all of you bickering?" He was laughing inside at the way they were talking to each other. "And what is all of this about demons and angels?"

"Pfft... Losers." He rolled his eyes, slipping Aurum back into its holster. "You barely even put up half a fight! You may have attacked first, but not only didja fail to meet my standards, you also sucked when it came to protecting your bud." He shook his head, shrugging. "Ah well, guess not everyone can be as flawless as myself.~ And Illoi too, I suppose- Good job with distracting Allison, by the way." He called to Illoi, as if this'd been his plan all along- to have them split up their competition so that way they both faced enemies they were matched evenly with. He walked over to Sage and patted him on the head, like a puppy.

"Better luck next time, lil' man!" With that, he turned on his heel, and made his way off the stage, cackling all the way. This was too easy! If the rest of the tourney went like this, he wouldn't even have to go full-out.

"Tch..." Despite how angry he was, he seemed unable to look up. Falin's words had cut deeper than it appeared, but he refused to show it, glaring back up at them, he glared at her and this new comer (Daniel) who had no place here. "Leave, newcomer. If you interfere, you die. As for you, hooded one-" He glared at Veyd, cocking an eyebrow. "I'm beginning to wonder if you're like my friend Nyr- in that you really aren't from this world. It'd explain why you'd think Life and Death are different, when in fact they're one in the same. It's how a human would think of this world's opposing forces- that by getting rid of that bastard Baelgrad, you'd offset the balance of the world." His anger flared, and his eye took on a tick.

"But that thinking is some stupid rumor passed on by Baelgrad's followers, to hinder our forward march! All Anti-Gods represent the opposite of their God or Goddess! Naturally, what idiots think of when they think of the opposite of life and prosperity is death- but death is just another process of life! That's why there's an afterlife!" He groaned, rubbing his temples. This headache was really getting to him now- it must be from all the stupidity going on around him.

"Baelgrad doesn't just want to end LIFE: he wants to end non-life, anti-life, and all forms of existence! He doesn't represent Death- He represents the END." He glared up at Veyd, straining to get his point across. "He represents what happens at the end of a book- he represents those two final letters you read: THE END. Not just for this world, not just for the next- for ALL worlds!" His anger, by now, was dying out, and his fatigue was settling in. It appeared the more he spoke- the more he talked- the easier it was for him to be calm, especially when a Demon wasn't trying to lecture him. "Do you really want that? For your own life to come to and end, and for your spirit to be reduced to nothing? There will be no afterlife when Baelgrad is done with his reign. He won't be a tyrant." Melchio shook his head, glaring back at the ground. "He'll be the Herald of THE END. So... so it's my job to stop THE END from coming. If I can, I'll make it so THE END never comes. And the only way to do that is to kill Baelgrad." He sighed, the tiniest bit of frustration left in his voice, as everything else had gone by now. "Every time an Angel dies, LIFE- the God or Goddess- feels their death, and is weakened, just a little, by their passing. If that's the truth, then the same must be true of Baelgrad. That's what I was taught after I became the VANGUARD."

He glared back up at Falin, at Veyd, and at Malorn, casting his eyes between them. "Can't you understand? If that's the truth, then every Demon- guilty or not- has to perish. It's terrible. It's abhorrent. It's wrong, but it has to be done. If I'm to kill Baelgrad, I'll need him at my weakest, and myself at my strongest. Revenge, hate, anger- yes, those human emotions drive me, but without them, I'm just a tired husk of a Seraph." A long breath exited his nose in the form of a tired sigh. His fatigue was washing over him like a tsunami. "So that means that I must try to kill all Demons I meet-" He glared at Malorn, without a hint of remorse, pity, or mercy in his eyes. "-including you."

I thought by saying it upset balance that he'd be nieve enough to shut up. Why in the 9 hells is everything always like this? Thought Veyd, annoyed by the same line he heard from practically every seraph, angel, and any other divine being. He put his hood into his black skeletal hand, sighing to himself. His body slightly withering the telephone poles around him and death seeping from him.

Allison whined at Sage calling the match of for them. "Sage you damn coward! Come on!" She shouted at him, standing as soon as the healer had healed her leg, crossing her arms and pouting. "We could of won! What happened to revenge you wuss! If she had've kept her gaze for just a few seconds longer she'd be on the ground! But noooo you have to wuss out after getting shot once!" She continued to rant to him as they were ushered out of the arena. "I shoulda got someone else as my partner. Sheesh." She muttered as they sat down in the arena stands.

Ferra

Ferra hyped up after Ana's sad story once their names were called. "You bet we will Hitsu! Let's go N'ythg!" She shouted happily, hopping over the side of the arena and into said arena after grabbing her blades from Torr, using her wings to slow her fall, expecting N'ythg to more or less do the same. "Haii!" She called out happily to her opponents.

Sage glared at her angrily as he stood up after he was healed. " Well sorry for not wanting you to get hurt. I could have kept fighting but I rather not have seen you continuously get shoot by some goddamned idiot. " He growled out as he sat next to her before crossing his legs , folding his arms and looking away.

Illoi Kotori Illoi followed Heidt off the stage, walking next to him. She huffed a bit, crossing her arms a bit. "I think you owe someone-me-an apology." She muttered, glaring at him briefly before making her way back to the battle room. She didn't particularly feel like watching the other fighters. This could last a while.

N'thyg 'Kofum Seeing Ferra move forward he did the same and haphazardly scrambled over the railing... well it was more like he just walked straight through it and fell to the ground with a large 'thud' as he landed. "Kill? Protect? Hunt!? Zerg ready to kill!" N'thyg glared at the two ahead of them and barred his still bloody teeth from the bite of Torr meat earlier. Twitching his claw like mandibles attached to his back his wings fluttered now and then, giving a sense of his excitement bundling up. Finally he would be able to go feral for a fight. "Kill. Evolve. Swarm..."

Daniel thought back to Veyd, "I am curious. This is right up my alley, life and death and all." Daniel then replied to Melchio, "very little chance that I will die. Why don't you give it a go, I promise you will fail." He then pulled his arms above his head and stretched, a loud popping sound could be hear as all of his bones adjusted. Daniel didn't even remember if he had blood in this form so it aught to have been interesting to see.

Allison sighed, annoyed. "I would of been fine! I appreciate you worrying about me but don't treat me like a little kid. You forget that I'm stronger than you with my Vision powers anyway. I coulda dodged the shots once I stood up, probably." She told him. "Maybe if you would of paid more attention to fighting instead of flirting we would've won easier." She added.

"Oh look, it's 'I'm too scared to fight any longer so I'll just forfiet' Mcgee." He spun around, continuing to walk to the room, except walking backwards. "How about you take your sore little ass home before I bust some more caps in yours and your buddy's bums, okay?" He sneered, whipping out Aurum, but continuing to walk backwards. "Go on! Go home! Go cry to mommy, if your mother's even alive. If she is, I'll fix that for you, if you're willing to pay me. If not, get your fugly mug out of my face, fucktard."

Falin was helping the last few wounded onto the backs of her spectral wolves, directing the ghostly creatures to take them out the back way. That's when Melchio began to speak once more. "You would be right in that two of the four of us in here are not of this world. Things are far different in our realms," her voice was considerably more even, calm. Like the calm babble of a creek compared to the torrent that was Melchio's. However, it did seem the Seraph was beginning to calm himself. Even though for reasons unknown he refused to pay attention to the kitsune he was combating. Something that could easily spell his own demise.

She sighed, watching as the last of the wounded were removed from the building. At least they had a chance at survival. Though she knew a few weren't ever going to full recover from this ordeal. "I have a feeling the two of us could have a more friendly discussion after all of this. Provided you walk away alive." She started for the back exit, "So try not to die, hm? Not for my sake, but the one that's waiting on you to return. I doubt you want to break their heart."

With that she stepped outside, quietly observing the wounded. A few of the wounds came from the shrapnel flying around. Shattered wood and glass, sharp crystals of ice. They did their share of damage. But what made up the majority of the worst wounds was frostbite. A few poor souls weren't able to get out of the way of Melchio's freezing blasts. Like burns, these were going to leave scars that wouldn't go away. The Immortal let out a quiet, frustrated sigh before doing what she could for the injured.

(He's hardly been out of the Void! xD He's seen them along with everything else, he doesn't really care a whole lot unless it threatens ALL of the realms)

Luna Glared at the Little girl, wearing pajamas. "I Wish you luck, Vampire." She said as she Sprinted in a Zig-Zag motion at Ferra.
