Sage smiled and nodded before going to the arena. He looked around in awe at the arena. He looked at Allison and smiled before activating his gauntlet. " Lets kick some butt. " He said

"Drem yol lok, Veydiilniil." The Immortal responded. It was a mere exchange of formalities, nothing more between two guardians of realms. She crossed her arms, studying the dragon. "I have a good enough idea of why you're here. Same reason I am essentially. Far from my first time."

Allison nodded, "Yeah! I'm sure we'll be able to win!" She told him, readying herself for the match to begin. She might not be the most skilled fighter ever, but she had her Vision abilities after all. As long as none of them had guns she would do fine...probably.

Ana said "More than likely a dragon, seeing as how 90% of the contestants are one, Mae and I have a small chance, well anyone could win. Fate will be the ultimate decider." She said, toying with her armor.

@Mitchs98

Eira looked around herself. Everyone seems to know each other here, she thought a bit grimly. She wasn't really that good at making friends, and the expression on her face was enough to show how lonely she was. While she was caught up inside her feelings, Mischief shuffled his way out of her pack, climbing the steps, obviously seen by everyone. Faereach probably didn't have a large gryphon population---probably non at all.

Heidt chuckled, and strolled up to her with a half-assed grin and his palms resting on his guns. "Yeah, I take life from people- so what? I also gather personal information and sell it to the highest bidder. I do whatever makes me money. Doesn't matter what it is, if I make a profit, then I do it." He shrugged, that cheeky grin growing on his face, despite looking forced. "I mean, why worry about taking from people what's pointless to have anyway, amiright? Haha." He sighed, letting his arms drop, but not his smile. "Anyways... what're your powers scub- besides your shitty smithering."

Melchio

Disgusting gurgling sounds came from Melchio as he seethed- both in rage and in agony- as Ikari talked him down. Not being able to express his hate through words, he expressed it through actions: he spat in Ikari's eye, then brought his right fist up to his temple, then his left, over and over, until his grip slackened, just a bit, on his whip, and Melchio was able to use his wings to blast out of his vice grip without snapping his neck. He flew back, skidding on his heels, before he emptied his stomach of its contents on the sidewalk- his body's attempt to open up his throat again. Needing all the oxygen he could get, he forced himself to once again purge, spraying more grey-green liquid on the ground, before he returned his glare to Ikari. He looked pale, and sweat beaded at his brow, most of his shirt burnt to nothing, leaving his chest exposed to the elements, though black burn marks lacerated it now.

Letting out a ferocious cry, he slammed his palms against the ground, causing a wave of ice wind to blast from them, racing across the ground and enveloping Ikari's fire with cold, bitter winds. They blasted the fire for some time, before the tiniest of openings became clear to Melchio. Not waiting even a single moment more, he slammed the balls of his palms against the pavement, causing a wave of ice wind to raced into the rip in fire around Ikari, and strike him in the stomach before his fire shield once again engulfed him. Standing shakily to his feet, Melchio jabbed a finger at Ikari, anger flaring behind his eyes.

"Don't you ever imply I'm like you! I am above you disgusting wretches in every way! Now, don't make me have to break out this form's true power, otherwise you'll be having a bad, bad time Half-Demon!" He wiped a bit of vomit from his lip, flinging it to the ground ice still swirling about him.
Nyr

Nyr took her hand and gave a little bow.

"It is an honour to meet you, Amolita. We are often told legends of the Shaman who do extraordinary things, and I believe your story has popped up every once in a while. I believe I am to join those stories, should I learn how to use my power to its fullest extent." She dropped her hand and grinned, combing her fingers through her hair again. Just then, the buzzer for their table went off so she offered a small bow again.

"I would love to speak with you again. I trust you know how to get in contact with me in the future?" She giggled a bit before turning to Falcon.

"Well come on then. I'm starved." She took his hand, waiting for him to get up before she followed the waiter.

Illoi

"Hey, don't insult my craft before you've had a chance to see it." She scoffs, crossing her arms. Around this character, she seemed to have a permanent scowl. She narrows her eyes a bit.

"I'm a shaman of the Flame. Mogmal is the outlet of my stronger powers. I can control fire and make it do my bidding. I can make it burn people till there's nothing left, I can make it form a prison that does not hurt you unless you try to escape. I can make it heal those who are wounded. There's not much I can't do with fire, it is an extension of my being." She stood up, putting her hands on her hips.

"I might be a lesser shaman, but I have honed my power to be as great as any one else's. It drains me faster to do big things. But I don't use my power for harm unless it's necessary." She grumbled, remembering an incident where she had nearly killed her mentor in a fit of rage.

(It's Veyd Sahvoz. You aren't supposed to know his true name :P )

"I know, I can see that. I sense sonething is wrong?" he asked, the tall black hooded being looking down at the various races. A grand demon from Hell, an angel from Heaven, a mere human, a fox demon and Falin. Well this was quite the crowd, too bad they were fighting.

Ferra

Ferra giggled, "But the question is, which dragon? Plus you guys are strong, you don't give yourselves enough credit!" She replied. "Although, Hitsu is probably stronger than all of us..but still." She added.
"I don't use that power..." he said rather quickly. That was to never be used...ever again. He couldn't bare the thought of killing someone again. Martial arts would be more than enough.

@Mitchs98

@Veyd Sahvoz

Falin sighed, shaking her head. "I find saying that something's wrong here an understatement. You of all things should be able to feel how off balance it is. It's only a matter of time before this realm destroys itself." The Immortal's tone was rather matter of fact about the whole situation. This obviously wasn't the first time she'd faces the possibility of a realm being destroyed. Why else would she have been dragged here to help set things straight? The world was obviously a mess if gods from completely different realms we're finding themselves having to get involved.

Malorn Drakanos

Malorn simply chuckled at Melchio's rage, stopping the orb of ice a few inches from his face and disintegrating it. "I have a name, you know. You can call me Mark." He told him, re-crossing his arms and continuing to watch the fight with his arms crossed. He glanced up at the sky to see a portal opening and someone coming out of it. He shrugged to himself and turned back to the fight. "Such power..yet..blinded by rage." He mused. "You really should lighten up, you'll get a heart attack you know."

Malorn shook his head and sighed, to think he actually thought about fighting this man. He was strong, yet weak and blinded by rage. If he was doing that bad against a mere half-demon Kitsune he figured he had no chance against him. Nonetheless, the fight proved interesting enough. Turning back to the subject of the portal he pointed up at the sky and addressed Falin, "
Any clue who that is?" He asked her. He figured it was worth a shot to ask.

Falin's eyes narrowed as the angel grew more and more enraged. She nodded in agreement with Malorn. "If he could keep his emotions in check, he'd likely even rival the power of an Archangel." But he was too blinded by his rage, making him reckless, leaving the angel all too open to counter attacks. "That temper's going to be his undoing."

Curious, Falin followed the demon's gaze towards the sky. As if the balance in this world wasn't in chaos already, here comes something else to make things worse.

||A portal between realms...|| Necrirti mused, ||The aura coming out of it's ancient. You know any dragons capable of traveling between realms?||

"Yeah, I know one."

There was a loud trumpet like sound that echoed throughout the city. Then everyone could hear the headmaster's voice. "Anyone who wishes to watch the first round of the doubles tournament please report to the Edgewater Coliseum. Thank you and have a wonderful game! With that said our first two teams are Illaoi and Heidt against Allison and Sage!" The crowd was huge upon entering the coliseum. This was quite the spectacle for the citizens of Faereach. Most loved to see the combat capabilities that the academy taught, as well as personal skills, and possible candidates for various activities. All the other contestants of the tourney had a spot in the front few rows if they so choose to show up and watch the other matches. Yama was of course in the front, ready to see what the contestants had. Mizuki and Kazuhiro were there as well and Kai had just arrived, flying in **(with Night Wing as a VIP guest) and sat nearby. The cities most known people where there as well. Hordoc the dwarf portal master, Enania the magic headmistress of the school and Ellisar the grandmaster at arms. It was quite the spectacle.
(The ** @Veyd Sahvoz is if you'll allow me to transport her, otherwise ignore it)

Melchio

Melchio was more than pissed at this whole "angel" spiel that the Grand Demon and his pal were having. Casting an angry glare at them, temporarily taking his eyes off of Ikari, he instead focused his anger on them, the ice swirling more violently about him than before. He jabbed a finger at them and Veyd, who he hadn't seen appear, or even felt, though he didn't really care, considering it wasn't any of business. His eyes had an angry black fire burning behind them, his rage only building.

"You shut up with that 'angel' bullshit! I'm no angel! I am a Seraph- get it right!" He clenched his fists tight, hanging his head not with shame, but with only building rage. Every word a demon dared to utter only served to anger him more. There wasn't anything in the world he hated more than Demons and their supporters, and the fact over a thousand demons have been slain by his hands was testament to that. "And stop saying that I'd be stronger without my rage! Rage, revenge, hatred- those are the fuels of war! The very things that make the Angels strong enough to kill you damn monstrosities! These are the only things in my life that've fueled me all my life!" His jade eyes, glowing with unbridled rage locked with Malorn's, his hatred as deep as the ocean, and as fiery as the sun. "Your master has taken everything from me! My family, my livelihood, my future, my very life!" He spat angrily, the ice howling at the speed it spun, and with its speed, it made Melchio nearly indiscernible from the whipping winds about him.

"So don't you damn demons try and lecture me! I'll see you all sealed away, killed by my hands! I am the Vanguard of LIFE, and I will slay Baelgrad if it's the last thing I do! You hear me, 'Mark'?!" He once again jabbed a fierce finger at Malorn. "Your master will be dead at my hands! And the world will be a better place without him!"

Falcon

He hadn't fallen asleep. He couldn't. Instead, he'd opted to stare at the Moon Goddess with a cold rage. There wasn't a thing in this world he hated more than HOLY beings and those that associate with the Life God/Goddess. Angels especially. They'd only made his terrible life harder, and he could never forgive them for that. So, of course, he wouldn't trust them near his Nyr. He was especially glad, when the buzzer in his lap began to shake and rumble, alerting him to the fact it was time to eat. He smiled weakly, as Nyr took his hand. "Yeah, okay."

As he walked away, he cast a cold glare at Luna. He had a lot to say to that Goddess, but he'd save it for later. If they fought, he'd end up dead. The chance of him winning was so low that it might as well be zero. Even still, if it came to the worst possible scenario, he'd kill her without a second thought. There was nothing he hated more than "gods", that included Baelgrad. They were meddling things, using their power to influence what wasn't their business. A life without them would be so much better.

Soon enough, they'd made it to their table. Sitting across from Nyr, he let his serious expression disappear, replaced with a calm, almost happy one. This was going to be a nice evening. It had to be- for Nyr. He sighed, and flipped open the menu, chewing the inside of his cheek, contemplating what to get. "Mmph. Applebees..." He muttered, remembering just where they were. Well... a steak couldn't hurt. He was sure they wouldn't screw this up for him... right? "What're you getting, Nyr? There's a lot of... good... food here. Tasty meats, well sauteed vegetables- er... scratch that- and all kinds of desserts for you to try." Though it came out forced, it was sincere enough.

$Heidt$

Heidt nodded, his smile growing. Once Illoi had finished, he closed his eyes, and nodded. Slowly, that aura of bullshit that always seemed to surround him disappeared, and though his humor remained, he seemed to take this just a bit more seriously than normal life. He wasn't going to break out his full power in this fight, but it couldn't hurt to try a little harder than normal. He chuckled, whipping out his Argyros, spinning it once, before pointing it at an angle, towards the floor. He flicked open the chamber, and peeked at the six silver rounds.

"Fire, eh? Perfect. Then I gotta make some adjustments to my ammo." Popping the silver bullets out, he slipped them into one of the six ammo pouches on his right thigh, and from another pouch, pulled out some slightly whiter bullets that were equally shiny, though small runes were inscribed into them. "These, my beautiful Illoi, are bullets. No duh, right? Well..." He started to slip them into his gun, one at a time, with a clicking sound for each one. "...These baby's are made of magnesium. If you don't know, when magnesium is burnt it exudes an incredible amount of energy and light, so much so that the army uses magnesium in flares to call down helicopters." He grinned, finally done reloading his weapon, which he spun on his wrist, before aiming it at Mogmal.

"But, I had these little babies altered. With a little witch's magic, I've made the reaction much, much more violent. Now, so much energy's released that it causes a grenade sized explosion. Plus, the light's bright enough to temporarily blind someone- like a flashbang. So, when you see me whip this baby out, or say "Argryos time!", cover your eyes, unless you wanna lose your sight for a little bit." He chuckled darkly, before shoving it back into its holster. Just as he did, he heard the announcer call for all the Tourney's participants to report to the arena. "Well, that includes us, darlin'. I believe we're in the first round. I hope you're ready... because we're going to the top, got that?" With that, he strutted to their room's doors, and kicked them open.

It wasn't a long walk to the stadium, but unlike his fellow combatants, since he and Illoi were the first round, he made his way to the battle platform, climbing up, and staring at the crowd he was going to be preforming for. He grinned, waving at all the faces that he'd seen a thousand times before. For once, he wasn't making a complete fool of himself. Considering that, it meant to all that knew him that he really, really wanted to win.

Nyr

Nyr smiled at him and started browsing the menu. She settled on the baby back ribs and a soda before resting her palm on her chin. She eyed Falcon for a moment before speaking.

"So...if I may ask, my dearest Falcon, what's prompted you to spare me? And don't tell me it's just Aquios cause I have a feeling it's not." She giggled a little, running her free hand through her hair before resting it on the pendant around her neck. It was always something that comforted her. She never knew why, it just did.

Illoi

Illoi followed Heidt, sticking to his side as they entered the arena. She glanced around, making note of the size of the arena and the number of people. She'd be sure to keep her fire in the ring. No use injuring a bunch of people. At least she could make her fire to a temperature where it wouldn't kill anyone. She glanced at Heidt.

"Don't let me down, darlin'." She giggled.

Sage shoot forward once the match began. He ran toward Heidi and Illoi before jumping in the air and shooting several bullets down on them. He then landed and punched the ground causing the ground to move in a wave like movement under Heidt and Illoi.

He once again jabbed a fierce finger at Malorn.

Malorn Drakanos

Malorn simply stared as the Seraph raged on literally and figuratively. He ignored Veyd and Falin's conversation for the time being, focusing solely on the first rate bullshit coming out of the Seraph's mouth. Once he was finally done preaching, Malorn cleared his throat. "Baelgrad? You're implying I serve that halfwit? No, no, no. You'd be plenty wrong there. By all means, kill him for me. It'll make my task easier." He told him, chuckling darkly. "I don't exactly follow the life of a cold blooded demon anymore, either. It's so...stereotypical to slaughter humans and conquer cities, don't you agree? Of course, your entire speech was ironic, really. You talk of how evil us demons are, yet you're willing to level this restaurant and I daresay this entire city with everyone in it just to kill this Kitsune and the rest of the demons."

He paused momentarily shaking his head to himself, "
If I'm not mistaken, you called this Kitsune the brother of this..Vix? Yes? In ancient Japanese history Kitsunes were regarded as demons. Yet, you apparently care for one. Wouldn't that make you a sympathizer with demons? I may not be the most normal of demons myself, but...wouldn't that make your entire exsistance moot if you would never be able to destroy all of the demons, simply because you care for one?"

Malorn sighed, "
But..I digress. If that 'attack' you sent my way prior was all you had, you don't stand a chance at even half of your goal. You might as well give up while you can, rage might fuel peoples strength when used correctly, but you..you are not. You're blinded by it. Your power could easily rival my own but you're being beaten by a half-demon like a toddler being pushed around by a highschooler. By all means, please, prove me wrong. I encourage it, you won't get far however." He told him before growing silent, a smirk present on his face.

@Mitchs98 @Kihara017
Allison stared as Sage ran right for them, well he was the close range expert of the two. Oh well. She of course, noticed the guns that Heidt was carrying, so she went as far back into the arena as possible. Thanks to her telescopic vision she could see them as if she was a few feet from them. Forming fireballs in her hands she flung them at them with great precision, aiming for their chest.

Illoi was able to defend them from the bullets by throwing up a flame shield but she fell to the ground when it started moving. She swore a little under her breath and kicked her leg out, sending a wave of heatless fire hurtling towards Sage. She was not going to lose, not today. Being on the ground, the fireballs missed her and she cackled a bit.

"You can't fight fire with fire, love." She cooed, drawing in a deep breath and swirling her hands a bit. When she pushed her hands towards Allison, a decent sized ball was launched towards her. It, just like the wave, was heatless.

Sage shoot at the ground and used the recoil to propel himself into the air and over the wave of fire. He then shoot in the opposite direction of Illoi causing the recoil to send him towards the girl as he aimed his elbow for the girl's head.

Heidt didn't bother doing anything, opting, instead, to calmly light a cigarette, as bullets flew, fire was spewed, and the ground underneath him rocketed him straight into the air like a missile, all whilst he attempted to light his little white cancer stick. Finally, he'd done it, and he was ready. "Awesome. Wasn't sure if that'd work." He glanced down, as he finally noticed that he'd been flung some thirty feet into the air. "...Oh. Well... This blows." Pulling Aurum from its holster, he took aim from above, carefully lining up his shot. As a master marksman, he'd already planned for where his bullet would go.

First, it'd collide with Sage, blasting through his elbow, and colliding with the ground. After that, it'd ricochet off the ground, bounce off the wall of the stands, then shoot for Allison's stomach. Not only would Sage be arm-less, unless he stopped his attack, he'd still have to watch the bullet punch a hole through his partner's stomach. With a grin, Heidt fired, the shot blasting through the air, catching the people's attention, and making himself known. He'd kept himself on the down low until now. This one shot would make him quite known.
