Nona's eyes drifted to the other girl and she raised a thin eyebrow, "jealousy is an ugly colour. Don't blame my being here fur him ignoring you." She turned back to Varkov and nodded, "I could, but I want something in return. My time isn't free."
@CHIMNY
Elsabeth smirked slightly before her face went back to being blank, "Do I look jealous to you? Theres no reason for me to be." She hissed, "I dont act without cause." Her eyes gleamed a dark red with anger.

Chuckling dryly she eyed the other girl, "whatever you say." Again she rolled her eyes, "to be frank I couldn't careless about your jealousy. I'm just testing how easy it is to touch a nerve with you." She shrugged.

Elsabeth momentarily raised an eyebrow, "Why does it matter to you?" She asked, though she didnt care much about the answer. She glanced at Varkov, getting suspicious. She was ready to make a move if she had to.

"Because I'm a good judge of character" she shrugged folding her arms across her chest.

"Hmm..I'm sure you are." Elsabeth said, "Although I dont see why it would matter to you what kind of character i am? It's not like we're going to be friends." She twirled a strand of hair around her finger as she turned away from the girl and looked at Varkov, "She's not helping us at all, there's no need for us to talk to her. Are you done here?" She asked him, getting bored. The small bat-winged hairclips in her hair started to flap as she got impacient about leaving. @CHIMNY

"Women seriously! Im a 3 foot 2 goblin that smells like acid and rotten flesh, WHY WOULD YOU ARGUE OVER ME!" Varkov said, he was enjoying this. Spark let out a tiny chuckle, he was also enjoying it.

Varkov did want to stop wasting time though, he was getting tired of the volcano and wanted to live in the city and he needed some sort of income for that. Varkov used to be rich but that was a long time ago.

Ralzanoth took in the new arrival. Ralzanoth wasn't offended, he knew he wasn't pretty and didn't really care. "Hmm seems like one of those angels, but not quite.... Something else mixed in." He thought "Are you a demi angel?" he asked

"Fighting, over you?" She grinned laughing, "I'm winding her up."

The world began to stop spinning around his head as Rex opened his eyes, starting to regain consciousness. Slowly sitting up, he looked around at the plants and wildlife, confused. "Where am I?" He muttered, standing uneasily. He looked up to see a few birds chirping, then down at the edge of a nearby pond. "Anybody around?" he called out, pushing his way through some undergrowth as he tried to find his way towards civilization. He suddenly came to a halt when he nearly walked off the edge of The Emerald Enclave, surprised at the height of the apparent cliff. He looked around, starting to realize that the mass of land was somehow propped up in the sky. "This is unsettling!"

"Hehe, anyways. Lets forgot why we were arguing and lets get back to business, Elsabeth remember - take as much as you can before leaving, and you. So can you help us or not, im also offering you a job in our business. We make weapons by the way, so what do you think?" Varkov asked. He was getting more organized now, he had already wasted enough time and the hog carcass was getting flies.

Varkovs violent nature was held back to much now, he needed a release.

Elsabeth frowned, "Why did you ask her to help? We can do it ourselves and I didnt ask for anything in return!" She protested, "and don't get full of yourself theres no way we were arguing over you." She looked him up and down, tapping her foot impatiently. She didnt like this girl and she definitely didnt trust her. "For all you know she could be a theif and you are going to run a business with her and she could just steal all of our weapons. You can't just trust people that easily!" She said, getting agitated, "lets just leave." She started walking away.

@JustCallMeAimee

"Thanks for your help anyways." Said Varkov as he followed Elsabeth, "Quite the temper but I could care less, so where should we go?" Varkov asked her, he was getting clueless. Spark had fallen asleep on his shoulder and the sky was darkening. The worst part was the nagging voice in Varkovs head, it was simple primal urges that were assaulting him. Varkov held it down, he couldnt afford to go there yet.

Sage let go and typed the number on his phone then saved it before tossing Dru's phone back at him after saving his own number on it. " Sure. " he said before turning Allison. " Great lets go. " he said as Luca cheered happily and bonded on the balls of his feet.
@Drumonkey

"Oh! Right before we go.." Allison spoke, trailing off sightly as she pulled a scrap of paper and a pen out of her dress pocket and wrote something down on it before handing it to Dru. "Call me whenever you guys get settled in and stuff." She told them, referring to Dru and Ralzanoth. She arched a brow at Ralzanoths' question to Sage but shrugged it off and turned her attention back to him and Luca. "Ready when you guys are." She told them happily.

Falcon

"Some random stranger...?" He grunted, cocking an eyebrow at the comment. "I saved your life, didn't I? I feel I should get more respect than that, Nyr." He rubbed his ear at the explanation of what "magic" really was. When he thought about it, it really did make sense. After all, human or even Seraphine, there was no way Melchio should be able to create ice like he does, or generate whatever the hell HOLY is. Plus, the wings? They're aren't metallic, so magnetism is out of the question. What the hell could've caused him to be like that? Genetics doesn't make sense- again, they aren't attached. Plus, they're made of jade, not just something that looked like it. As he thought, he noticed the conversation devolve into an empty silence that even he felt uncomfortable with. This was the one person he actually felt like talking to, he realized, and just being around her- silence engulfing them- made him feel awkward. Disappointing, even.

"...Nyr, listen-" Odd way to start, but he'd live with it. "I know I've already asked you a lot... but the mall's still some time away." He scratched his chin with the tip of his tail- the one thing on his body that had the potential to pierce his skin. "Would you mind if I quizzed you a bit? I'm intrigued about these powers of yours. They're... otherworldly. All things in this world revolve around one of two things." Oh gods he could feel a rambling coming on quick someone stop hi- "Magic... or chemistry."

"You see, Melchio- your friend," He said this condescendingly, like he looked down upon any who got his brother's happy gaze on a regular basis, "is a being who bathes in magic on a regular basis. Not literally, of course-that'd be weird-but with how much he uses it, he might as well. Simply flying should be a feat of impossibility for him, given the fact his wings are, one, made of jade, and two, aren't attached to his body. Plus, they protect him from blows he's unaware of to keep him alive and, well, warn him of danger." He took a single breath, before beginning again. "Then, you have me. Someone so anti-magic it hurts to be struck by even the littlest magical blow. Instead, in order to survive in a world heavily influenced by powerful, magical creatures, I rely upon chemistry to change the world around me." He looked into his palm, imagining what the sacks in his hand might look like- if they were crimson, black, or even clear. "I simply use my body as a catalyst to alter the world about me in ways that seem magical, but in the end, can be explained by- admittedly very complicated- science. Hell, I spent the first eight years of my re-life studying chemistry and biology at this thing called a 'college' because I wanted to be able to explain just... just what the hell I was doing with myself."

He closed his eyes as he walked, silent as a still night on the plains. He thumped his tail once, before beginning again. "So... you can understand that I'm extremely... perplexed by what you can do. But... considering you don't trust me enough to even try to disclose what you mean, I might as well ask you- where did your power come from?" He glanced over his shoulder at her, surprised to see she'd fallen behind a little. "Just... what was life
like on your world...?"

Melchio

Melchio could feel himself go a little red at the "sleeping beauty" comment Vix'd made, but given his nature quickly got over it, putting on his own silly grin. "Oh really? I thought I was sleeping on my ultra-king size bed, fit for a blue whale!" He laughed heartily, gladly letting Vix close in on him. He wasn't entirely sure about his feelings towards Vix, or, for that matter, why they had only grown in time, but figured it couldn't hurt to get to know the guy a bi-

Wait! What about Falcon! He could hear a part of him scream this, slapping him awake. He needed to hunt the bastard down, try and kill him once and for a-

"Aah!" He cried, as he was lifted like he was some young maiden to be wed to Vix, and was carried off from his resting place, the thought of hunting down Falcon completely lost in his wonder. He'd barely known the guy for, what, a few hours, and he was already being treated to a date? And carried like his bride? He chuckled nervously, casting a confused, yet happy glance at Vix. He wasn't such a bad guy. A bit hyper, but not a bad guy in the least. And, it wasn't really so bad being doted on like this, if he was being honest with himself. He let out a soft giggle, almost childish in nature, and let himself cling onto Vix a little tighter.

Unfortunately for him, the ride felt like it lasted all of two seconds, as the instant he began to get comfortable, they landed. He pouted a little, glaring at Vix before realizing that he was facing one of the nicest places to eat in the city. He'd always dreamed of eating here, hearing that their fish, and more importantly, their salmon was exquisite. Almost drooling at the thought, he swayed on his feet, the delectable scent of salmon, cooking on an open fire, filled his nostrils. He gave Vix a coy look as he held the door open for him. "Such a gentleman! And a mind reader, apparently-" He strolled through the door, waiting for Vix to follow after he passed him by. "-just how did you know I loved salmon?"

~Frillz! Yeah!~

Frillz, despite his size, could feel himself nearly buckle under the behemoth's giant hand. He was strong, but after carrying the guy, he felt like his legs were rubber bands. He trumpeted at the friendly gesture though, glad to have made Torr better. And, to make things even greater, Ferra decided to hop by, climbing all over Torr like a baby chimp might its gorilla mother. He nodded happily, shaking her hand with a single finger. That, however, is when he felt a chill run down his spine. It was pretty obvious he'd changed after eating that dragon carcass, given his slightly purple hue, but for some reason, at that very moment, he began to glow. He wasn't very magical- almost not at all- but he did have a pretty strong link with Mykky, and he didn't just glow for no reason.

He didn't know what, but something was up.

So, after saying he'd stay, he had to go. It was disappointing, but he'd MUCH rather be safe than sorry. With an apologetic hiss, he bowed his head in semi-shame, scrawling a message in the earth before springing off on all fours.

"SUMTHIN...UP...WITH...MYKKY. GON...GO...CHECK. BYE."

@Mitchs98
Ferra and Torr

Ferra grinned at Frillz, the quirky little plant was pretty cool and kind of funny. She wanted to talk to him a bit more seeing as he had learned to talk pretty decently but soon after she came over he ran off. Frowning she read the message soon after and understood why. Frillz and Mykky reminded her of herself and Torr, in a way. "Welp. I'm sure she's fine. I know you haven't eaten today so lets go by the Enclave and find you some food, yeah?" She told him happily. Torr simply nodded and walked towards Paragon Square. A little while later they were there and through the portal, only to be greeted by rain and lightning.

"
Awesome..." Ferra commented as she arched her wings to act partially as an umbrella for them. With that they trudged on, searching for something big enough for Torr to eat, preferrably dragon.

Falin thought on it for a moment before shrugging and moving over to sit on the couch as well. She pulled her legs under her as her small form sank into the cushion slightly. Part of her wondered what other strange things this city held. But she figured it was only a matter of time before she encountered anything else. While she wanted to go and seek out the Chain Meister, Falin knew it was best to just rest and regain her energy. With all the battles that seemed to be breaking out in this city, it seemed only a matter of time before she would be pulled into one as well.
Malorn Drakanos

Malorn simply stared at the TV with a bored expression, not really focusing on it but moreso trying to piece together the events of the day so far in his mind. If he hadn't been as old as he was he would've probably thought the woman beside him was absolutely batshit and some type of con artist. But this wouldn't be the first time he's spoken to people a victim of a rip inbetween dimensons, plus you can't exactly buy dragon scale armor like a common commodity. Shrugging to himself he simply sighed, deciding not to think too much into it.

"Feel free to rest. Or if you're feeling up to it we could go to the library." He offered. "While it'd be impossible to read everything at once, you could get a few books on the history of this realm."

Sage began to walk ahead while Luca stayed with Allison. Sage was tempted to use his gauntlet to get to the park faster but didn't knowing that Luca can't keep up. He folded his arms behind his back and looked around.

Rex stood in a clearing, soaking wet from the fowl weather. At this point, it didn't matter where he went, there really was not much shelter around. He looked around some more, wondering if there was a way off this strange island in the sky. So far, there didn't seem to be any real wildlife around aside from birds and small animals. "How did I get here?" he pondered to himself, then felt the air above him move forcefully. Looking up, he witnessed a random Dragon fly overhead. "What the hell?!" He quickly moved underneath a tree to stay out of eyesight "There had better not be more!" He waited until the sky was clear, then carefully began to move through the undergrowth. Reaching his hands into his pockets, Rex found two knives, and a soggy pack of cigarettes. "Not much to,," He cut short when he heard a voice. Instinctively he pulled out a knife and moved towards the figures in the rain.

Hitsugya looked up at the treant, who suprisingly still was standing, then turned back to Crimson "No kidding." He dodged another lightning strike, that seemed to alwats be targeting him, and slide across the wet ground. Blood red flames in both of his hands now grew stronger as Hitsu focused on it. He breathed in then out and repeated it. Everytime he inhaled the flames became darker.

He engulfed both of his wings with black lightning and flapped them at the treant, cutting both of it's arms off, and made a circle of blood fire around himself.

Vix knew this he had to be on his best behavior because not only did he have to distract Melchio but he actually like the guy. He couldn’t remember the last time he actually liked someone so he wasn’t going to let this chance slip away. He smiled at melchio question and said “a fox has his ways of finding information, my dear prince.” It was true in his eyes melchio was a prince and needed to be treated as such. “Don’t were about the price, the owner of the restaurant owns me a favor because I did a job for him.” He said with a sly smile. He pulled the chair out for melchio to sit in, like a suitor should for a prince. He then sat in his own chair and looked toward Mechio waited for the waiter to come take their order. “Look melchio I'm going to be honest with you. I like you a lot, I don’t know why, but I do, so I hope this goes well.” He said with a smile. The waiter came to take their order and he orders salmon for both of them and he got himself a water to drink. He then looks at the handsome man sitting across from him and said “it’s very strange to be on a date with some so out of my league. Anyway, I'm open to a question you have about me. I'm an open book as long as I get to spend more time with you, ” he said with a wink after. This fox was doing someone a favor, but he also was going to make the most of the opportunity he was given. He need to wait for melchio to bring up his family so he could talk not only about melchio’s dad but about his own family situation. It was very strange kitsune are very picky when it come to people they actually let in, but for some reason it felt nature to let melchio know anything about him.

Ikari

Ikari was closing in on mykky as she approached the bar. He figures now the chance to talk to her. “Excuse my beauty. I'm new in town and I was hoping to find someone to show me around. I figure what better than having a gorgeous lady show you around.” He said with a big smirk and a wink. Ikari was cold and heartless, but he was also a kitsune, he knew how to charm people when he needed it. He created a rose out of thin air and gave it to Mykky. “ I saw how much you loved nature so I figured a rose would be a fitting gift for such a beautiful flower like yourself.”

Allison sighed internally, at-least Sage wasn't into necrophillia or rather, an extreme form of it. "Well, that's a relief." She told him jokingly. Then she looked down to Luca when he asked her to go to the park with them. "We'll see. I gotta make sure these guys are fine with this building first." She told him laughing softly and smiling down at him. She turned to look at Dru when he told her the building would be fine, "Awesome then! Saves us the trouble of walking around town for another hour to find a building you like." She told him happily. "And of course, how could I forget Amazo." She added when Amazo made his prescence known.

She watched Sage and Dru talk, and Dru eventually pull him into a hug. She did not see that one coming, at all. She simply blinked at the scene and turned her attention back to Luca. "
Guess this means I'll go to the park with you guys after all." She told him.

Malorn Drakanos

Malorn nodded. "Sort of but pre-recorded. More or less the same thing though." He replied. "Though, some shows are live. And they have music on here as well." He added. He couldn't help but be amused at Falins' reaction to the TV. Though, it was expected. It was the equivilant of showing a hermit a telephone after all. Despite his age he was fairly well accustomed to the modern luxuries at hand, god knows he used his microwave more than most people took a bath.

Melchio

"Well, I suppose you must be one of the slyest fox in the world- I've never told anybody that!" He laughed, both at what he said and by what Vix'd said about the owner of the restaurant. "Well that's good! I don't know if I've been paid enough to pay for something this fancy! Looks like I'll have to step up my game for the next date." Woah, wait! Next date?! He barely knew the guy, why the hell was he already thinking of having a second date with him? As he sat, thanking Vix for his gentleman-ness, he began to realize, even if it was barely a thought, as to why he was already thinking of taking Vix out again. He was so... kind! So thoughtful, and let's be honest, those eyes were pretty entrancing too, like a cat's but somehow not mangy looking. He chuckled a little at how Vix confessed how he thought of him to him.

"No need to sound so formal Vix! It's not like I'm some prince you've been trying to swoo for all his life, loosen up a little!~" He laughed, a very genuine smile on his face, his mind in the completely opposite place of thinking of Falcon. He didn't honestly feel like he was out of his league: while he was an optimist and quite confident in himself, he'd never think of himself above others like that. He just wasn't that kind of guy. "Heh... anything to spend time with me? You're sweet, Vix, treating me so nicely! Anything I want to know, huh?" A mischievous look crossed his face, as he leaned across the table, cocking an eyebrow. "Okay then, tell me this: what size boxers you wear?" He hadn't gotten the chance to see Vix squirm yet, and he hoped this didn't ruin the date for him. He just wanted to see the fox look a little uncomfortable, even if he ended up getting something equally embarrassing asked of himself. It'd be worth it!

((oh god what've I done))

$Heidt$

The toting gunslinger spun his revolver on his finger as he rested against Malorn's door, a single cigarette hanging out of his mouth, unlit as to abide by the hotel's rules. He'd light it when he left, but for now, he'd simply let it rest against his lips, teeth, and tongue, its shape already sending relief throughout him, though the taste wasn't there, so he still felt a bit on edge. He'd talked with Malorn every now-and-again, but had never really gotten to know the guy. He seemed cool enough- a bit apathetic for his tastes, but respectable- and his power was indisputable. It was always his motto to surround himself with equals, but Malorn was leagues above him. Even still, there was something about his resonating dark power that sent a wave of goosebumps down Heidt's arms, and a tingle down his back. He reveled in it, revering the Grand Demon. He'd give a lot- even large sums of money- to have that kind of power. With that, he could threaten the whole world, and more importantly, get any and all riches it might hold!

"Kehehe! Now that's a good use of power if I've heard of one." He whispered this to himself, his laughter muffled by his fist. Clearing his throat, he pounded the butt of his revolver, Aurum, against the sturdy wooden door that led to Malorn's apartment. Mimicking their landlord's voice, he cried out his almost daily command to Malorn. "Oi! Open up Demon! You skipped out on 'yer money last week! Let me in and let me get my money!" He could barely contain his laughter. This was his best attempt yet! He almost sounded exactly like him! Of course, his outlaw-ish clothes didn't match the man's usual, but he was comfortable in the get-up, so he'd live with it.

Mykky

Mykky was surprised- not so much by his presence, but by his demeanor- and could feel herself heat up, his flattery making her turn a darker shade of lavender, though her eyes flashed angrily. "Just who do you think you're calling 'your beauty', huh? I don't belong to anybody, bub!" Though it was a kind gesture of him to hand her a rose, when she held it, unlike other plants she'd held, she couldn't feel any thoughts coming from the rose. All she felt was a demonic wave of mal-intent, and those waves sent chills down her spine.

"Well, you better go look elsewhere, Kitsune." She humphed, turning her back on the kitsune, flicking her hair. "I've barely been here a few hours- I couldn't tell you where in the city to go. And stop calling me beautiful! I d-don't even know you!" She growled, stomping her foot, refusing to look at the kitsune. This tantrum lasted all of a minute, as she began to think about his face again, realizing just then that he looked familiar. Barely turning her head an eighth of a degrees, she tried to get a look at him. Yeah... he definitely looked familiar.

"...Hey, you nine-tailed-nuisance, do I know you? You look familiar."

"C'mon Luca lets go." She told him smiling down at him and holding his hand as they walked along. "So what have you guys been up to lately? Anything interesting? Oh, did you hear about the attack on the school and the square earlier today?" She ask Sage, rambling slightly. She wished she could tell him about Dru and maybe he'd be able to help too, but she figured if Dru wanted him to know he'd tell him himself.

Ferra and Torr

"There Torr! Lets get 'im!" Ferra shouted, pointing at the dragon that flew by overhead. She was just about to fly off after it when Torr pointed out someone coming towards them..with a knife. Ferra narrowed her eyes in the direction he pointed, and sure enough between flashes of lightning there was someone coming towards them. "Well. Might as well see what he wants. Leggo." She told him, hopping off of him and walking towards the guy, Torr following directly behind. "Yo! Watcha' want?" She called out to him, waving.

Malorn Drakanos

Soon after he had asked his question about them leaving to go the library Malorn heard his landlord bang on the door shouting for the rent. Did he forget to pay it? It was indeed possible, he tended to forget things and put them off until later simply because most of them didn't matter. And paying the rent on time really wasn't a pressin matter in Malorns book. With a groan he got up, "Excuse me a minute." He told Falin before moving to the door.

Upon opening it lo and behold it was Heidt with a smug look on his face. Malorn crossed his arms and narrowed his gaze at him. "
Of course its you, Heidt." He muttered, sighing. It wasn't that he disliked Heidt, it was the sole fact things were complicated enough without tossing him into the mix. "Whatever...You might as well come in, perhaps you can offer some insight on this. Shut the door on your way in." He told him before walking back over to the couch and resuming his previous sitting posistion.

Sage looked behind at Allison. " Nothing really , our parents are doing business so they will be out for about 2 months other than that nothing. No I didn't hear anything about the attack, what happened. " he asked with a raised eyebrow as he kept walking and Luca listened , feeling happy to hold his 'big sisters' hand as he grin and walked.

BYE."

@Mitchs98
Nyr was snapped out of her thoughts by Falcon's explanations and questions. If she thought about it, she supposed her powers could be considered otherworldly. She didn't really know how to explain it to him without showing him, so she figured she'd just show him after they got her some clothes. She rubbed the back of her neck, grinning up at him again.

"What was life like on my world? It was...exciting. My father was the chief of the largest tribe, and I was next in line. All I had to do was find a suitable husband since, technically, women weren't allowed to hold such high positions of power. I was named the Grand Shaman of my people in preparation for the ceremony, in which I would find a mate that would benefit myself and my tribe. Being the chief's daughter, and one with extraordinary power at that, you can imagine why most of the boys stayed as far away from me as they could." She giggled a bit before continuing with her story.

"As for where my power came from? Well, like I said, my people are more intelligent than you might think. Maybe not in the common sense so, but more or less in the way that...well, we're able to communicate with the elements on a personal level. Kind of like how me and you are talking right now, but...with the elements. I have an affinity for water and earth, meaning I can communicate with those elements the best. It'd be easier to show you what I'm talking about then trying to explain it- how about after clothes shopping we go somewhere and I show you?" She tilted her head a bit, looking up at him.

"My power has limits, that's what sets it aside from magic. Magic might appear to have limits, but it really doesn't. I can only do what the elements around me are suited to do. For example, I wouldn't be able to just form a mansion from the ground. A dirt hut, maybe, but it would take a lot of effort to change dirt into brick. Does that make sense? Sorry if I'm not explaining this very well, I've never had to in the past." She huffed a bit before setting Aquios down to float along beside them.
