Fantasy Faereach City of Magicks (Now Accepting)

Vix looked at both girl and shook his head. He was frustrated that he know something was wrong but had no really proof." Listen in going outside from the fresh air. He you need anything just look at the roof." he said directed to no one in particular. He went outside and jump on the roof. He was just sitting around looking at the sky. When he saw his favorite fallen angel, flying through the sky. @Shiro kurogane @Veyd Sahvoz
When Hitsugya spotted Vix he landed right next to him, wrecking a bit if the roof with his hard landing. When the dust cleared he had his hands in his pockkets and his black shirt/jacket's buttons all undone, revealing his wrappings over his chest. "What I miss?" he asked, snirking a tad bit.

Dru chuckled as he stood up "I wonder how this city pays for its repairs since these things seem to happen fairly often. Anyways I am sure there is a place not too far from here. Let's ask Amazo, Alright Amazo find us a restraunt." Amazo turned into a bloodhound and began walking out the restraunt and down the street.
Allison shrugged, "They probably fix it with magick or something. I think that'd be possible, anyway." She told him. She blinked as Amazo transformed again and Dru told him to look for them a place to eat. "Once again, most useful pet ever." She commented as they followed him out and down the street, ignoring the destruction in the cafe, thankfully it wasn't raining anymore. "How'd you end up with Amazo, by the way?" She asked, curious.

Mykky

"Little Frillz's?" She laughed, getting her companion's attention. "That's pretty hard to imagine- something twelve feet tall being so short? And friendly? Don't get this big tub o' love mistaken- he's not friendly, he's just respectful." The Venus flytrap hissed, a confused look on his... his... face? As if he had no idea what she meant. "You see, if you were a normal human..." She stopped, scratching her chin. She'd never seen him eat anybody before, but she'd seen him attempt too many times at this point. Sure she'd been able to control parts of him- i.e. his mouth so that it'd stay shut so he couldn't swallow people- but the way it unhinged... it was something she never wanted to see her friend do again. I mean, sure he could photosynthesize... but unlike normal Venus flytraps, who prospered on that kind of nourishment and only ate if need be, he absolutely adored eating, and only photosynthesized if he absolutely needed to.

"Damn... that's one hell of a forest! And the
Onek'ais... They sound amazing! Like more obedient Frillz's" The monster trumpeted in response, rubbing against her like he was trying to imitate the dogs he'd tried eating when they'd first gotten here. "Ah, stop! You aren't an Onek'ai! You're a... thing!" He hissed in response, a wide grin on his face. "Anyways, back to what I was saying- these Onek'ai... One day I wouldn't mind meeting them, maybe even befriending one myself! But, I wonder, would I be able to control them...? Or, y'know, parts of 'em, kinda like with Frillz." She patted the big sweetheart, who was crawling alongside them a happy grin on his face, while Melchio strolled ahead of them, whistling to himself.

"Huh... that's some crazy power... Almost makes me wonder which one of us could be stronger, y'know, when we both master our powers." She thought for a moment. Did she want to reveal that much about herself to Nyr? I mean, sure, they were friends, but her necklace- the reason her eyes were such a green colour- the stripes- all of it? ...No. Somethings were best kept to themselves. For now, she'd work on mastering her plants, then move on to her Radiokinesis. Even as she thought about it, her body hummed with an internal drive to unleash the power of the atom- the deadly rays that could destroy a cell in seconds- the same rays that were emitted from the explosion of an atom bomb. But, she wouldn't let her body do that. The last time she tried using that power, she'd been blind for a whole day. Not fun.

"Here we are folks! The pizza place! I've checked this place out already, and know that Mykky isn't a fan of plants on her food, so we'll be getting cheese and pepperoni. What'll you be orderin', Nyr?" Melchio whistled, as he held the door open for them. He gestured for Frillz to go have some fun on his own, and the oaf agreed happily, tromping off to find some trouble.

~FRILLZ! YEY!~

Frillz wasn't one to know where his legs brought him, as he tromped through the city, causing pedestrian and business man alike to scream. All he knew was, he saw a dragon- one that appeared to be dead. He wasn't one for scavenging, but he knew what his stomach and tongue wanted- to have his first taste of dragon. And, even if he couldn't swallow the thing whole, well... wasn't that what teeth were for?

But, as he neared the building, causing the crowd to scream in horror, as a giant, teethed plant shoved its way through their crowd, he noticed an old friend fighting what appeared to be dessert. And, sitting behind two more human popsicles was his old friend's even older friends, but with wings. Smiling (even though that's one of two things his "face" could do) he trudged his way through the battlefield, careful to avoid the luchador and Torr, and shoved the human-sicles aside, so he could be face-to-face with Ferra again. Squatting down, he grinned at her, friendly, and scrawled a message in the ground, before pointing at the dragon carcass on the building.

"
R...U...GON...EAT...THAT...?" He tilted his head, tapping his claw on the ground. He could hear the pounding behind him as Torr fought with the luchador, but couldn't be bothered to help his friend, despite being thrice as tall as the man he was "fighting". He was hungry. And a plants gotta eat. Plus, even if he couldn't eat the dragon, he could always have a light snack with these annoying humans behind him.

Falcon

The Humasilisk sat, nearly bare, upon the roof of an abandoned building right across from the cafe that'd been robbed just mere seconds earlier. He'd witnessed it all, and was in full position to stop it, but simply let it happen. He'd watched, a mixture of emotionless and anticipating, for, he knew somewhere inside that building was one, maybe two dead bodies. Human bodies, at that, that were just waiting for a good stomach to get into. The abomination licked his lips. He wasn't one to exert himself, though, so he sat, watching. He grinned as the man with chains and the woman with potions- he used similar bottles to her, he noticed- dashed out of the building after a robber, whose hostages looked absolutely delectable, their fear only adding to their taste, like time does to fine wine.

"Aww. Heroes. Always spoil my appetite they do..." He sighed, getting to his knees. He was hungry again. He wanted so dearly to feed. Well... his disguise ought to work. Donning his black overcoat and wide-brimmed hat, and sliding his shades over his eyes, he looked just like the neighborhood-watch guy- an insult that led to many broken bones and even more human carcasses in his stomach than he could count. He leapt down from the building, feet cracking the pavement. He wasn't even slightly fazed. He was on business now. He strolled passed Eisuke and Emma, nodding to them.

"Good work you two. Detective Witzchev on the case. I'll let you two handle the hostages. I'll be taking care of the dead bodies inside." He flicked his wrist, and a large garbage bag- black like his shades, and just about all of the rest of his apparel- shot out, and with another flick, was popped wide open.

The instant he entered the building, the sweet smell of corpse filled his nostrils, and behind his collar, he was drooling, the chance to sink his teeth into succulent, deceased human flesh almost too much to resist. He hadn't eaten in two hours. Two hours too long. So, he went about his business, first to the woman who'd been shot through the eye. Lucky for him the bullet'd passed right through the skull. He slid her into the bag, quite unceremoniously, but then again, she was just a mea- erm. Dead body.

It went that way for the other two bodies- the one that'd been stabbed, and the one with the broke neck. His "job" finished, he went to leave, only to find Emma and Eisuke heading back inside.

"Excuse me." He let them head inside, sniffing them as they walked by- stealthily, however, so they wouldn't think anything was up- to see what kind of persons they were. He smelled all kinds of chemicals on the woman- classic and not so classic for a chemist to use- and he deduced she must be some kind of potion mistress. However, his nose recoiled at the man's stench. He smelled of... steel. Not good.

Ferra

Ferra watched intently as Torr fought on, she figured he had the fight in the bag, after all he was the strongest thing she'd came across aside from more powerful dragons. Then again, she hasn't really fought too many insanely strong beings, so she was mostly going off of a heavily biased opinion. Soon, however, she was interrupted from the fight by Frillz coming over. "
Hey Frillz." She greeted with a smile as he squatted down and began writing. She looked from the writing to the dragon then back to Frillz.

"
Yeah, sure. Just save some for Torr, he hasn't eaten today either ya kno'." She replied to his writing, "Although, it will be kinda hard for you to unspear it by yourself. Want me to help you get it down? Torr will be fine on his own for a bit." She continued, looking from Torr then back to Frillz. "Plus, it's only the beginning so it's kinda boring." She added, half wishing she had decided to fight first.

Dru sighed heavily "I made it into a pit with lions and honey badgers fighting and me being good I tried to stop it but there were so many of them that I just closed my eyes and let myself go... After a few minutes the noise stopped when I looked around there was well a chimera like from Greek mythology and it had subdued everyone else and restored my hope. That's how I met Amazo he later told me how he had formed from me so I kept him and taught him about the world or rather what little of it I knew."

Ralzanoth strolled down the street whistling to himself as a pulled a coffin on wheels down the road with a rope, he got alot of looks and mutterings from bystanders but ignored them. "That's a body isn't it, in the coffin." "Has to be..." "Did that thing kill someone?" "What is that monster doing?" "Why doesn't someone do something about that thing?" And other such murmurs.

Allison nodded, "Oh. I see. That's a pretty cool way to meet him, I suppose. He is a pretty useful little guy after all." She replied. Though, she couldn't help but wonder just what he was doing near a pit of lions and honey badgers...she'd wait and ask that later. For now, food prevailed over asking more questions. That's when she saw a skeleton in robes dragging a coffin...seriously? Did she miss the invitation to the party? Just what was with this town today...Though, that thing might know about Dru. There was no telling how old it was.

"
Hey Skeletor! C'mere a minute!" She called out, waving him over.

Emma Emma cringed as the new man who called himself a detective decided he would try and smell them. "Who," she said. "What the hell?" She walked far away from him, and was about to ask Eisuke about it, before the boy started screaming. "Whoa, whoa, what happened?" She asked, letting the hostage take their seat before running over to Eisuke. She studied the scene, listening to Eisuke's accusation as she visually scanned the area. "Are you sure about this? What is he was in league with them, and this is all a big trap?"

"no no Amazo please no!" At that point the dog Amazo ran up to the skeleton and tried to pry one of his leg bones from his body.

Hitsugya looked around and couldn't help but notice a dragon ontop of an enormous skyscraper. Turning his head back to Vix "How long was I gone?" he asked, chuckling at the number of events that happened.

Seth arrived in faereach and sighed as he walked around city, the boy had just arrived at this majestic city and was enjoying the views. "This is a nice city.." He said in awe as he never lived outside of the Elven territories.

Ralzanoth looked towards the caller just in time to see the dog rush at him. As the tog viciously ripped Ralzanoth's leg off, he screamed a high pitch "EEEEEEE! I'm okay!" He said grabbing his leg from the dogs mouth. "Nothing a little sowing can't fix." @Mitchs98 @Drumonkey

Shiro Majima

Shiro, the captive robber still slung over his back, wandered aimlessly through the streets. He needed to find a police officer, or a soldier, or someone with the authority to take this man into custody! Not knowing where the nearest police station was, Shiro had decided that the best way to find it was to keep walking until someone approached him. With any luck, that someone would know where a police officer was. At least, that was the plan.

The sounds of an uproarious crowd and property damage caught Shiro's attention long before anything else had. With an unusually quick pace for someone carrying a man of his size, Shiro hurried down the street and towards the source of the noise.

It was a street fight! One between a couple of foreigners! One of them was a giant of a man, wearing little more than a helmet and a loincloth, and the other was-- good lord, was that what passed for warrior monks in foreign countries? The glistening of his muscles, the mask hiding his face, the way he held himself-- this must have been someone who has refined the art of combat into a religious experience!

Still carrying the robbers' leader on his back, Shiro forced himself into the thronging crowd surrounding the battle. Always a connoisseur of these types of show, Shiro began calling out the customary chant. He did not know the name of the masked warrior fighting, nor did he know who the giant was. He did not need to. The energy of the crowd, the mysterious power known only as "The Hype" did all the thinking he needed. Height, weight, a history of the fighters' careers and what moves they particularly enjoyed-- all of them came to Shiro as if he had always known it. And Shiro, as with the rest of the crowd, spoke as one.

"Oye, Ruidoso! Peel 'im apart! Oye, Ruidoso! Peel 'im apart!"

Nyr laughed a little at Mykky before shrugging. She had been able to influence the Onek'ais, but never really tried controlling one. She didn't have a need to.
"I was able to influence their decisions, but I never really tried to control one, y'know? I didn't really need to. Orboro was nice enough to listen to me anyways." She giggled a bit. "I suppose it's possible, since they're just a bunch of plants, but I don't know how well they'd react to it. They might be gentle giants, but when threatened they can be quite nasty." She shrugged a little, humming a bit as she looked at Frillz.

"Your companion seems to love you a lot. It makes me wonder what I would see if I were to view his essence." She looked down at Aquios as she said that. She had viewed her companion's essence several times, and in a way, it bonded the two. She knew his every thought, his every feeling. She wondered if that was something she could teach Mykky. As far as she knew, their powers were similar yet different. As Frillz tromped off, she turned her attention to Melchio.

"Well, that makes sense. I'm a bit hesitant about having any plants on my food because sometimes some of them like to speak to me." She frowned before making a sour face and shaking her head. "Never eat a fresh salad, the spinach can be quite brutal." She puffed her cheeks out before shaking her head.

"I'll just have a cheese pizza with sausage on it." She kneeled down, patting Aquios on the head and giving him a brief kiss to the forehead before shooing him off. Her companion needed a little break.

~Aquios~

Aquios had been dying for a chance to wander the city ever since they arrived, but Nyr wouldn't let him. She always told him it was too dangerous and he would just harumph and nestle down into the cramped bag at her hip. When she met that plant lady and her companion, Aquios was glad because his master needed a friend that understood her power. When Nyr finally set him on the ground and shooed him away, he didn't waste a moments chance before zooming off down the streets. Some people looked at him strangely, but no one really payed any mind to him.

He made it quite far before he noticed something odd- as in, a man in a trench coat wielding a trash-bag that contained the dead odd. Aquios had seen his fair share of wierdness since arriving in this town, but this one had to take the cake. With a determined demeanor, Aquios set about following the man, making sure he kept hidden by flattening himself completely to ground when possible. Nyr would love to hear about the weird things in this town, that much he knew. He made it his mission to follow the weird guy and see what he was up to because no one carried around a bag full of the dead. At least, Aquios didn't think they did. It piqued his curiosity.

Eisuke

Eisuke looked at the man with a raised eyebrow.

"Did you just- Actually, I don't care." He dismissed the idea of this man smelling him and walked inside. He needed to purify the man he had murdered, or the power that he had purged from the fire bender would reach it's maximum capacity and...

"What... HAPPENED?..."

He asked, rage flowing in his voice. He looked around to the two criminal's bodies were gone. That wasn't the thing that angered him. What did was the fact that the young girl's body had disappeared. She was too young to die, but where had her body gone? He turned to Emma, seething with anger, and asked through his teeth

"That man... TOOK THE BODIES, DIDN'T HE?"

//I'd like to note that he isn't shouting, his voice is just angered.

Melchio

Melchio grinned, as she said exactly what he was going to order anyway (after all, sausage isn't that different from pepperoni). After the girls made it in, and their familiar and pet ran off, he strolled up to the cashier, flipping open an old-style wallet, at least a couple hundred of years old, and made their order- a cheese and sausage pizza fit for four. What? A Seraph's gotta eat. After ordering, he followed them to a table by the window, so they could see what happens outside, or, if it came to it, they could break the window and get out of there. When they sat, he sat opposite of them, with Nyr on the outside and Mykky on the inside, so that way if they had to use their powers, they'd have the most reliable ones able to do it- not that he'd say that to Mykky, she's already tired enough of him, and he wouldn't want to have to kick her butt if she tried to fight him. No part of him wondered if he were stronger than Nyr- he'd never have to fight her anyway, so there was no need to prepare. Speaking of preparation...

"So..." He rested his chin on his knuckles, glancing back and forth between the two women. He wasn't sure how to explain his findings to them, but figured he'd better start before their waitress came back with their food, as they'd all already ordered their individual drinks. "As you know, people, I called you here on a pretty urgent matter: my findings related to the school attacks." He sighed, reclining in his chair while giving a quieting finger to Mykky. "Wait 'till I'm done, okay? I got a lot to say." He sat for a minute, eyes closed, and head back as he gathered his info, his wings blinking slowly in a drowsy, sleepy fashion. Finally, his eyes snapped open.

"And... what I found is... interesting. Each of the attacks happened in relatively famous or packed places across the city. Paragon Square... Edgewater... many major corporation buildings... one of the few places that didn't get immediately attacked was a park, or somethin'. Not too important, though I'd better look into why the heck they didn't bother destroying that too." Leaning forward again, his eyes devoid of humor, a cold glint of jade in his eyes as he picked apart what he knew.

"Along with this, each of the attacks were initiated by a little figurine. They're easy enough to destroy, but I don't think they're the cause of the attacks. After all-" He whipped out his phone, showing them a picture of a shattered figurine that had a layer of permafrost over it. "-I destroyed a figurine in Paragon Square, and you want to know what?" He zoomed out to show the destruction of the square- park benches fried, the water fountain shattered, water spilled everywhere, trees completely uprooted or burned to a crisp. "That destruction? It came after I shattered the thing. It makes me think the figurines are only for show- or, better yet, are markers for where the mastermind behind these attacks needs to strike. Makes me think he isn't even in the city." He leaned back, setting his phone on the table. He sighed, glaring up at the ceiling. "But... that's it. That's all I could gather. I tried praying to my father- no dice. Either he doesn't know- which is impossible- or he doesn't want to tell me because..." A shadow of doubt passed over his face. "...Because I'm not strong enough to yet take out our foe. And that should, theoretically, be impossible..." He muttered this to himself, yet with his naturally boisterous voice, it was clear to hear.

"Hmph. Well I'd say that's concerning, but now that the attacks are over, and we don't got anymore clues as to where they came from, or who the hell did it, I guess we're done." Mykky sighed, frustration in her voice. She wanted to find whoever thought it was a smart idea to attack her school. She'd turn 'em into fertilizer, or better yet, paralyze 'em, and feed them to Frillz. He must be pretty hungry. She's been starving the poor thing 'cause all it ever tried to eat were people and people's pets.

"...Whaddya think Nyr- I know you didn't tell me your name, but I know a fair bit." He winked at her, though his humor hadn't returned that easy. "Helps being nosy sometimes. Anyway, again, I'll ask- what do you think? Got any ideas for us before our food gets here?" He wasn't hopeful she'd have anything useful to say- not that he doubted she was smart, it's just that he's the one who did a relatively thorough investigation, and he'd found nothing. What could she know that he didn't?

~FRILLZ! YEY!~

Frillz shrugged- something that made it look like the plant monster was doing the wave- and began to make his way to the dragon- when he noticed a new-comer to the fight. He thought about snatching up what appeared to be a dead body slung over his shoulder, but the intoxicating smell of cooking dragon drew his attention away. His tongue lolled out of his mouth- his honey-scented drool coating the ground in a fine layer of saliva. He tromped across the battlefield again, using his flexible form to curl around Torr's punches and rush the building. The instant he reached the vertical climb he sunk his claws into the concrete, a fine layer of roots extending from his fingers to aid in his grip. From their, he climbed-hopped his way up the side of the building with respectable speed, climbing a floor every twenty or so seconds, making it up the building in about three minutes, and in a few more, made it to the wing of the carcass.

Hooting happily, he leapt from the building to the wing, his weight almost tearing it from its socket. Still, he climbed , until he got to the belly of the beast, where the scales were the loosest and the meat the most succulent. His drool dripped all over the scales, and in moments he ripped himself into a feeding frenzy, claws hooking under scales the size of dinner plates and tossing them aside like toys as he searched under the armor for a patch of skin to dig into- aha! Just as he thought about it, he spotted a weak-point in the scale armor, and in seconds, his head was inside the dragon, the sound of crunching, chewing, and gulping echoing for miles from the building as the creature tore into the beast, soon enough his entire front half was burrowed in the beast, and the sounds only got louder as he ate more and more- no bit of the dragon was spared- Frillz would eat anything that he came across in the dragon's gut- even gold if the dragon had eaten it, as his saliva became a powerful digestive acid that melted down bone and even metal so that he could eat it without trouble. And, in a matter of minutes, the Venus flytrap monster disappeared entirely into the dragon, though the sounds of crunching and ravenous scarfing could be heard from most anywhere below the skyscraper and from the surrounding area. He'd stop. Eventually. Maybe.

Falcon

Falcon could hear the young man's frustration from the car outside the shop. He wondered if he should bother reminding him that he'd handle the dead bodies. He opted not to. Wouldn't want the steel-scented lad to know what he was doing, now would he? Just the thought of what these bodies would taste like made him tremble. Still, should he go far? He shook his head. No need. That building he was sunning himself on would do fine. He'd just go to the level right before the roof and eat there. Then, he'd place the bodies back in the bag, and dispose of it. Somehow. Then, that night, he'd hunt. Anyone on the streets would be a victim.

Unawares he was being followed by Aquios, he made his way into the abandoned building next door to the cafe- the one he'd sunned himself on before- and walked to the stairs. He didn't bother closing the door- gravity'd do his work for him. Plus, that door was solid steel. Unless someone caught the door before it shut, he wouldn't have to worry about anyone else getting in here. He had super strong muscles. He doubted any human could open that door without a forklift's help.

Making his way to the fourth floor, he found a bunch of identical garbage bags to the one he was holding. Some were full. Others were empty. They all smelled like rotting corpses. A smell that only made him salivate more. As he looked around, he noticed an unfinished snack of his. Not wanting to dirty his clothes, he tossed them all away but his pants. He's buy some more later. Stepping over to the half-eaten dead body- some woman in her late twenties who thought that walking around at night with only a pistol and some mace would be enough to protect her- he wondered if he should finish up the feet, or chew on the arms. He wrinkled his nose at the idea of eating uncooked toes. Eugh. Nasty. Arms it would be. So, with a swift chop, his claw-like nails removed her arm at the shoulder- popping the appendage from its enclosure like one'd pop some bubble wrap. Sitting down, he gazed at the decadent arm hungrily, but as always, he toasted.

"To... to another year. Another year of hunting. Another year of mating. Another year... of survival." With that, he tore ravenously into the arm, crunching into the bone, and slurping the delicious marrow from her arms. He always went for the bone first. After all, there was only so much bone marrow to go around, and like fine wine, meat tasted better aged.

"Fine. But you will follow my lead, and you will do everything that I say. And sometimes, you will have no sleep."

He is kinda cute, Taylor thought to herself.

"You" Byakuro started "You look new" Byakuro's attention was focused on the elf's ears. From where he was from, Byakuro didn't see many elves, though they were apparently much more commonplace in the city.

Allison couldn't help but laugh as Amazo ran up and stole the skeleton mans leg, it was like something out of a comedical fantasy movie. "You sure? Maybe..I could give you a leg to stand on?" She told him jokingly, immediately regretting her crappy pun. "But, seriously, are you sure you're alright? You kinda just lost a leg." She asked him curiously.

Shiro, the captive robber still slung over his back, wandered aimlessly through the streets. He needed to find a police officer, or a soldier, or
someone with the authority to take this man into custody!

The glistening of his muscles, the mask hiding his face, the way he held himself-- this
must have been someone who has refined the art of combat into a religious experience!

Ferra

Ferra sighed and followed him regardless, she honestly hadn't expected him to be able to climb the building. She noticed someone come up to cheer on El Rudiso at random, shrugging she figured she'd speak to him after. Taking flight she matched pace with Frillz, it was a pretty good thing she didn't have a fear of heights too. "
Ooh..everyone looks like little ants from up here.." She mumbled in awe. Turning to Frillz she had planned on helping him at least get on top of the thing, honestly not expecting the giant plant to be so nimble. She watched him as he tore into the dragon for a few minutes before looking back down at the fight. "Just remember to save a leg for Torr, Frillz. Enjoy your meal." She told him, unsure if he heard her or not.

Turning back to the fight area she ceased flapping her wings and dropped like a rock straight towards the ground. Stopping twenty feet from the ground she extended her wings, causing a massive shockwave of air, and flew off towards the newcomer cheering on El Rudiso. Hovering a few inches off the ground beside him she spoke, "
Sup. Ya know, you're cheering on the wrong fighter. Torr's gunna beat the crud outta the luchador guy." She had told him, grinning cheekily.

"Sir I must apologize normally he is much more goal oriented but when he saw you he couldn't help himself. Apologize to the kind man Amazo." The dog whined then said "I am sorry sir."

Byakuro unsheathed his katana. He held it to the side with his right hand, the bone blade stretching out. He gave a pre-emptive crouch, before jumping into the air, arms outstretched, then slashed downward at Seth.

Seth dodged and looked back at him with utter shock, "what in the?.." He said quietly as he narrowed his eyes at the man. He then punched him square in the side of the head to disorient him. he was calculative, and scared. However this guy just threatened his life, he decided his best course of action was to run. So he did just that, disappearing into the shadows.

Hitsugya didn't seem to really care and kept a straight and serious face on. He didn't feel like talking about his training with Tessai at the moment but there was apparently something he did miss if Kaz was gone. Staring at the dragon up ontop of a building made him even more curious "Might that be what's the case?" he asked, still staring at the odd dragon.

After all, there was only so much bone marrow to go around, and like fine wine, meat tasted better aged.
Nyr listened intently. A figurine? She frowned a bit when he asked her what she thought. She had no frieking clue. But...but she didn't want him to think she was useless.

"If you take me to the scene of one of these attacks, I can listen to the earth and see what she has to tell me about them. The figurines, as well. If anything survived the attacks- plants, animals, anything, I'll be able to communicate with them for a short while." She bit her lip, fiddling with the table cloth. She wasn't sure if he'd believe what she was saying. As a shaman with an affinity for earth, she could communicate with the natural beauty herself as long as they were willing to talk. Except...it wasn't talking per say. It was more like...emotions that painted a picture. She blew a strand of hair out of her face before turning her attention to Mykky.

"I've been meaning to ask you. Can you talk to the plants? If you listen carefully, you can sense their emotions and it'll paint the picture for you. It's a complicated form of magic, but with my strange connection to you I can feel your essence tugging on my conscience. It makes me wonder." She smiled a bit sheepishly, starting to play with the flap on her shirt absently.

"Sorry if I'm being rude. Your power intrigues me since it's so much like my own but so different at the same time." She smiled slightly, toying with the pendant that hung around her neck. It was the last thing her mother gave her.

~Aquios~

Aquios had barely managed to slip through the door before it slammed shut behind him.

Rude, he is.

He huffed quietly before continuing to follow him. When the stench of the rotting dead hit his senses, he started to bubble with mild anger. They needed to be cleansed! But this wasn't his world. Aquios had been covered by the clothes that the stranger threw and he wormed around until he could see the stranger. Just in time to see him rip the woman's arm off and eat it. Unfortunately, Aquios couldn't contain his surprise.

A loud warble escaped from his being and he shuffled backwards quickly. If the man didn't notice him before, he sure as hell knew he was there now. The thought made him panic and he bubbled and warbled, making more of a ruckus as he tried to escape the clothing so that he might escape.

Shiro Majima

Shiro stared blankly at Ferra, and curled his lips into a confused frown. He quietly lowered his hands, and let The Crowd continue the chant on their own.

"What? No, I'm voting for the one who's going to win. I mean-- you haven't even marketed him! What's his angle? Where's the feuding? How're you gonna get him over if you don't-- Oye, Ruidoso! Peel 'im apart!"

Shiro lowered his hands again and looked back to Ferra. The robber on his back had evidently woken up, and was cheering enthusiastically for El Ruidoso del Marad as well. The crowd's chants roared across the square, filled with the ineffable energies of the human mind. It was clear to all that, regardless of his performance, el Ruidoso del Marad was The Hypest Shit.

"A good fighter's gotta get the crowd hyped up and he's gotta fight like a god. When the crowd's screaming for you-- that's where the power comes in... that's where you get The Touch. I got a little tip for you, since you're a real aggressive manager: it doesn't matter how hard you hit 'em, honey, what matters is how good you look when you do it! The Crowd does all the damage for you! Get that ape of yours mooching for the crowd, and he just might win this!"

Confident that his impromptu lecture had gotten the point across, Shiro sank back into the habit of chanting. The Crowd cheered for el Ruidoso, and they were hungry for spectacle.

"Oye, Ruidoso! Peel 'im apart!"

Within the crowd stood Oscar White, his arm still across the shoulders of a blonde girl he'd been wooing before the fight broke out. Both had been taken into the flow of The Hype, and both were thoroughly enjoying spectating as the luchador put a smackdown on the armored freak. This was shaping up to be a wonderful first date for the two - one they'd remember for years to come. Oscar thanked his lucky stars that the luchador's manager had set up a publicity stunt so near where he'd been looking to pick up a chick.
