Fantasy Faereach City of Magicks (Now Accepting)

"Then CLEARLY I will not be eaten for breakfast! Ha ha ha!" Say what you will about El Ruidoso de Marad's intelligence, but he was entirely capable of running logical rings around little girls playing at power fantasies! Still addressing the crowd as much as his opponent and opponent's tag-team partner, he gestured up to the stricken-but-alive dragon at the top of the skyscraper and nodded in Torr's direction. "Bear witness to my glory! Or perhaps your breakfast! But my friend, you should be cutting down on the calories, yes?" Taunting! The luchador was getting serious!

"But my dear, you are so tiny! It is not physically possible to avoid talking in a downward direction!" His taunting was not focused on Torr. Ferra was copping it as well. Until she started flying. "Excellent! You have elected to observe! Please, record this great battle for my millions and millions of fans!" El Ruidoso did thus declare, and the crowd went wild again. Crowds tend to do that when they're being acknowledged, and his accent, so exotic, drove them into further fits of cheering.

But it was no longer time for showboating. He bent his knees, getting EVEN SHORTER, and steeled himself from the onslaught from Ryb... Torr. Right. Different city. Still the same big lumbering brute, though. He stood no chance against El Ruidoso's FIERY PASSION!
Ferra and Torr

"Nah, I'm not observing. I'm just moving out of the way of the destruction. Torr gets a bit into it when he fights alone without his weapon." She told him, outwardly ignoring his comment about her height, yet fuming in the inside and wondering just how easy it would be to prepare Roast Luchador with her new found powers. But, she figured it'd be much more fun to watch Torr smash him into the ground first, then cook him in front of his fans.

Torr looked up at the dragon, seemingly unfazed. Though, Ferra was being quite literal when she said Torr had eaten a dragon before. Their first trip to the Enclave they killed, cooked, and ate a dragon. Tasted like a mix between steak and chicken. But, sadly as hungry as he was, now was not the time for food. He had a midget to crush.

He looked confused as the luchador crouched down, was he giving up already? Or was this some weird pre-fight ritual Torr was un-aware of? Shrugging and not really carrying, Torr simply lifted his massive fist above his head and brought it down towards El Rudiso's head, aiming to take him out in one hit like he did most opponents.

Reed waved good bye to Ferra. "Say hi to Torr for me." He appeared next to Taylor. "Anyways that was fun and I've been wanting to talk to you and you whole job thing. Buut you probably don't want to do it here so I can wait."
Taylor got up, and quietly said, "Follow me." She started walking back to her home, because that is the safest spot to reveal secrets.

Over to the side, two enterprising men had set up a table and were sitting behind it. One wore a ridiculous tie and the other had a hat as large as his head.

"Good evening ladies and gentlemen and welcome to Wednesday Night Wrestling," said the man with the tie. "Tonight we have a great match against two reigning champions, El Ruidoso, the Maestro of Marad and Torr, the Terrible Titan."

"That's right and this is going to be a very destructive match! Torr is definitely well known for his tendency to take out the ring in his quest to demolish his opponent. And El Ruidoso, as you can see all the way up above, made his entrance with an RKO outta nowhere to take out Sleghan, Lord of the Depths."

"Would you say we're looking at a David and Goliath match-up here, JR?"

"We certainly are, Michael."

Back to the matter at hand, El Ruidoso was glad he had steeled himself. With a quick hop and an "Ole!" he was out of the way of Torr's incoming fist. But did he attack? Not quite yet!

"Ohhhh, heavy fist from Torr there just misses it's mark."

"If that'd landed, El Ruidoso would've just been a smear on the pavement!"

Tessai "Good, good, now how about this for a try..." The clone exploded to reveal a new clone that practically teleported in front of Hitsugya and upper cut him, knocking him into the air. Upon lifting off the ground the clone used magic to make multiple puncture wounds at an unreal speed stopping and revealing multiple red dots as blood slowly started dripping. "Now Hitsugya, not only did you take immense damage but you should be able to heal yourself with a spell... try it now."

(He's a fallen angel, he can't use healing magic xD he was stripped of his angelic powers when he was born and sent to earth. He could regenerate?)

Hitsugya looked at him as most of the wounds he already had reopened slightly and he shouted out in pain "Your way of training is . . . me nearly dying. Idiot I can't use healing magic" explained Hitsugya, looking at the clone and trying to get up but unable to move.

Nyr was about to question her envy before there was suddenly an arm around her shoulder. She blushed a bit at Mykky's friend's comment, looking away a bit. She had never really experienced anyone flirting with her. She huffed a bit, crossing her arms across her chest and shuffling awkwardly to Mykky's side.
"I might as well join you...don't got anywhere else to go." She half-hid herself behind Mykky, lightly clinging to her shirt much like a frightened child would to her mother. She bit her lip, wondering if she might have over-stayed her welcome. She wasn't gonna ask, she didn't want to be impolite, but she couldn't help but feel that way.

"In response to your earlier statement, Mykky, I have the potential to be very powerful. Aquios is the main source of my power. Once I strengthen my bond with him, we will have a greater power." She smiled a bit. She thought back to her training as a child, watching her father construct small hills, giant tornados, and everything in between. It had always amazed her, and it had always brought joy to her heart watching her father make the elements do what he willed.

In her current state, Nyr could accomplish impressive tasks. Her most recent accomplishment was constructing a sturdy shack using a combination of water, earth, a little bit of fire. If she kept training, she knew she could gain enough power to perhaps surpass her fathers own greatness. It wasn't unheard of for shamans to have 2 elemental affiliations, but the few that did were known to be as strong as the undiluted ancestors. She bit her lip, staring at the ground. Did this newcomer know what she was? Did he know her power? These questions made her nervous, almost as much as his light flirting had.

To be fair, her only interactions with men had been with her father and her brother. Everyone else respectfully stayed away from her just because of who her family was. Her attention once more turned to the girl.

"Pardon my rudeness, but what are you? I can tell yourself something of the earth- your blood sings to me. But I haven't encountered anything like you before." She muttered sheepishly.

((Goodnight!))

Melchio

"Somethin' of the Earth indeed, miss!" Melchio grinned, bowing to her, making his jade wings on his back obvious. "Though, as you can probably tell, I am no mere human! I'm the holy matrimony between an Angel and a human- I am a Seraph! If you don't know-" He returned to his full height, jade eyes flashing with excitement. He always loved telling others about himself, though he'd have to stop himself from crossing over into backstory territory. That could only end badly. "-we Seraphs go by a power ranking system- the more wings we have, and depending on the material they're made out of, we're either more or less powerful." He turned around to point out his wings to them.

"As you can see, I have six, meaning my father's a Life Angel- a direct representative-slash-emissary of the Goddess or God of Life themselves. That means that I'm the strongest class of Seraph there is- Class Three. However, see how my wings're jade? If they were diamond, I'd be the strongest there is." He turned back to Mykky and Nyr, a mischievous look in his eyes. "My wings should indicate that I'm the second strongest being in my species, but I've faced off with a diamond Seraph before, and I beat him handily. It wasn't a fair match, though. I had un-death on my side, along with... a few peculiar tricks that he'd only hope to have. Plus, I had my father's blessing the entire match, so I was really too powerful for the poor fool." His jade wings lit up behind him, one of them smacking him in the head, causing him to grunt, a grin on his face despite the pain.

"Guess my wings're telling me to stop rambling. I've talked enough about myself, what about you? Who're you, miss? And, may I ask without being rude, what are you? I'm Melchio, you know what I am, and I've been all over this world, and never met someone like you." He stared curiously at her, floating in the air thanks to his wings, curiosity peaked.

Sheesh, this guy sure likes to ramble.

Nyr smiled a bit at the thought before shrugging a little at his question.

"You're a very interesting person, that's for sure. I uh...you might not have met someone like me because I'm not exactly from this world. I know that might sound strange, but I uh...I was separated from my tribe during a thunderstorm and when I woke up, I was here...in this strange land." She rubbed the back of her neck, going a tad bit red. Communication, why did it have to be so difficult for her. She sighed and looked him in the eye, offering a sheepish smile. Her different-colored eyes were flashing a bit mischeviously.

"I'm a shaman. I was the second best in my tribe, next to my father of course. He always told me I could easily best him in a fight once I was fully trained though. See this little guy?" She paused to pull out Aquios and the elemental bubbled, whorls of mud coloring the blue-green surface of his water skin.

"This is my familiar, his name is Aquios. I had to summon him, as required by our traditions. I'm the first shaman in well over a hundred years to have a dual-elemental familiar. All that means is that I have a stronger affinity towards two elements instead of the usual one. Earth and water are my specialties. Don't let this little guy's size fool you though, he's so much more powerful than you think." She winked before letting Aquios down onto the ground. She stood back up straight, biting her lip a bit and smoother down her clothes one more time. A nervous habit, of course. She didn't usually ramble about herself so much and telling a stranger about her people. She rubbed her hands together before crossing her arms across her stomach.

"I can still control the other elements, but only a little bit. Once I'm able to tap into my full potential, the things I could do..." She trailed off, getting a glazed look on her face.

"The last shaman to be allied with two elements was rumored to have built the mountains that surround the Shaman Stone itself. Our power is terrifying, but it does have it's price. I'm a strong healer, I used to be the best in my tribe. But...unfortunately, due to my lack of training, I can only heal for a short amount of time before I drain myself. And if I'm not careful? Well...I could burn out and completely lose my power." She frowned a bit, turning her attention back to the ground. She didn't like the thought of that.

"It...that's what happened to my grandfather. He died protecting our clan." She whispered the last part before crouching down, starting to seek comfort in her familiar.

Melchio

Melchio frowned, before glancing up at the sky. A lonely moment of silent passed for Nyr's old man, as Melchio tried to get in contact with his own, to no avail. He sighed, and turned to look down the street, half interested in the speared dragon that rested- dead- on one of the buildings in the city. He wasn't expecting such a sad story to come up when he asked her who and what she was in response to her own questions about him. A cold breeze blew down the street, ice forming in his hands, as the breeze collected there. He always commanded snow and ice when he felt depressed- but they didn't need to know that. Hell, not even he needed to know that.

"I'm sure he was... he was a great man." Melchio grunted, trying to keep his tone as neutral as possible. "Anyways, didn't catch your name- probably 'cause you don't wanna tell some stranger- but I figure it's about time we go grab that meal, and more importantly, I tell you my findings." With that, he started down the street, Frillz jogging up to him like a dog, hissing contently, and yipping at his heels- something that helped to cheer him up, and warm him up- literally and figuratively.

=- - - - -=

Mykky

Mykky sighed, bending down by Nyr, and helping her up. "C'mon, Nyr, cheer up! That'll never happen to ya! You forget, just because I'm not trained, doesn't mean I'm not strong! I won't let you over-work yourself, okay? I'll be sure to make sure that never happens! And, uh, condolences to your grandpa. Like what Melchio said, I'm sure he was a pretty awesome guy." She grinned, sheepishly, dragging Nyr by the hand after Melchio and Frillz.

"Anyway, I gotta ask- are you really from another world? Like... was it so different from this one that everything's alien to you? Or... is it really similar?" She frowned, trying to think of any way to tell the difference between the world you came from, and a new world, but had no idea how this girl knew she was from another world. I mean, technically Mykky was from another world, right? She grew up in a swamp where the very air was poison, and only the strongest could survive, so, in a way, she too was alien to this place. She decided not to think about it too much, though, as it hurt her head to think like that.

Nyr followed after her silently, watching Melchio take off down the street. She'd noticed the ice, but she wasn't going to say anything about it. She just offered a half-smile to Mykky.

"He was a great man. My idol, in fact." She ran a hand through her hair before poofing her cheeks up. She lets the air out in a sigh before turning to look at Mykky slightly.

"Look at me, and tell me that you honestly think I'm from this world. I don't....the concept of technology that this world seems to have...it's almost unbelievable to me. The concrete, the buildings....all of it. All my life, I have known rolling grasslands that stretched for miles upon miles, towering mountains that seemed to touch the sky itself, oceans deeper than you could imagine, all with creatures that this world hasn't seen. And to think, I was next in line to be the commander of that world." She gave a distant smile, remembering her homeland very fondly.

"You would have loved the forests there. They were lush with flora and fauna and seemed to move around your essence like water. It was breath taking, really. Before my mother passed away, she used to take me to the Elder Tree- the tree my ancestors planted to claim the territory as the Frostbane territory. It was a massive tree that housed all sorts of lifeforms. My favorite were the Onek'ais. They were gentle creatures, who protected the Elder Tree and all it's life threads. When she passed away, she was berried beneath it's branches, with the hope that her life force would continue to nurture the tree and give it life." She smiled a bit, absently reaching for the pendant that hung around her neck.

Mykky

"Pfft. Okay." She grinned, spinning around Nyr until they were face to face. "Ahem! I honestly think that you, Nyr, with all your sheer badassery, are from this world." She grinned, returning to Nyr's side. "You forget, I'm from a forest, and I've lived there so long that I might as well have been from a different world as well. I'm still getting used to all this tech too- the highest tech thing I had in the forest was myself. How'm I supposed to know you aren't from 'round here, when the only living things I ever met were goblins, gargoyles, and the stray sentient plant? As far as I care, you're just as regular as anybody I meet in the city." She grinned, thinking fondly of the world she described- it was so different from what she'd known all her life, and yet she felt drawn to it, like, if she had the chance, she'd love to visit it and get to see all of its wonders.

"Yeah, I bet I would. They sound down-right magical! Waaay more than The Forest." She didn't have too many fond memories of her homeland, and doubted she ever would- the only thing that made her want to go back was finding out her people's fate, and understanding everything that had to do with them. Otherwise, she could live in the city happily. "I'm glad you had a family though- the only thing I had was Frillz. Anyways, tell me more about these forests of yours! I'm a plant fanatic- duh- and I'd love to get an idea of what your world was like!"

Ferra and Torr

Both Ferra and Torr were extremely confused at the two people that'd started commenting on the fight, which is one reason once Torr's fist connected with the ground causing a small shockwave and a fist sized crater he didn't immediately follow up with a side swipe. Instead he was listening to those two idiots. "C'mon Torr you can do it! Ignore those morons! This guy is a shrimp compared to you!" Ferra cheered, encouraging Torr. Torr nodded, grunted, and lifted his fist back to his side. He watched him circle him, bringing his fists down repeatedly above the luchadors head. He didn't do anything more complex, simply because Torr wasn't an idiot. He was well aware the luchador was sizing him up and seeing what he could do.

It was also because without his weapon Ferra he was at a slight disadvantage in the variety department. Nevertheless, he continued his onslaught of smashes, determined to either tire him out or actually hit him. Ferra on the other hand, had gotten tired of hovering. After all, she had just learned how to fly, she wasn't really used to it, so she landed behind the two commentors and decided to watch the fight from there. She said nothing, simply slowly flapped her wings and watched the fight.

((Have a good night friend!))

Nyr was down right grinning at this point, the smile spreading from ear to ear. Talking about her world and it's various life forces was something she could definitely do.

"The legend goes back to when the forests were grown. My ancestors felt a deep connection to the land that enhanced their power, so they decided to settle there. Of course, living anywhere requires the basics of life. They say that when they found the land, it was barren, almost dead. With the help of my ancestors and the Earthen Council, a group made up of shamans who could only control the earthen elements, they sprouted the Elder Tree. Within a few months, the Elder Tree had spread its roots and its life force, growing the vast forest my people called the Living Garden. The trees towered way over our heads, and were all sorts of different colors. They weren't just brown. They were purple and green and red and just...all sorts of colors! Some say they were living beings, and I'd believe it. I could hear them whispering to me when I visited with my mother. They used to say all sorts of things! They had a great sense of humor, to." She giggled a bit, using her arms to make gestures where appropriate. It was obvious she was very fond of the forest.

"It wasn't just the trees that were living. It was the plants too. You know your companion, Frillz? We had miniature flowers similar to him! They would always run under-foot and chase the faeries and the glow-flies. They were gentle, too. They loved to nest in my hair." For emphasis, she ran her hand through her hair which made it poof up a bit.

"The Onek'ais that I was telling you about were amazing. If I was in a forest, I would be able to summon one up for you to meet. They were kind of like...hmm...imagine giant, walking plant creatures that were made up of hundreds of different kinds of plants, even their faces! They stood way over my head, about the size of one of the houses here in the residential district, if not bigger." She stretched her hands up above her head, going up on tip-toe for an extra inch or two before she continued walking beside Mykky.

"Want to know the best part?" Her eyes gleamed as if she were about to release the biggest secret she held. "They acted like giant dogs! They loved to play fetch, rolled around in the grass, all that stuff. I had one in particular that seemed attached to me. I named him Orboro. He was a bit smaller than the others, but he used to let me ride around on his back as he climbed through the tree tops and kept peace in the forest. I never felt more free, more connected to my elements than i did when I was on his back. Whenever I was scared, or sad, or alone, all I had to do was go into the forest and call his name, and he'd come to me." She gave the same distant smile she'd held earlier, before shaking her head and locking her fingers behind her neck.

"Everything was alive in that forest. Or, to me it was anyways. Mother always said it was because of my connection with the Earth Mother that I felt that way. No one else seemed to be able to hear the way the plants gossiped about them, or told stories, or passed along notes of coming danger to the Onek'ais. That's the very reason that I was to take the title of 'Grand Shaman'. There hasn't been one for over a hundred years, and they cherished and protected me fiercely for that fact. It scares me sometimes, since even I don't know what the extent of my power is. All I know, is that it is highly dangerous for me to test the limits." She shrugged a little.

"As scary as it is, I'm rather content on stretching my power just a little further. Just enough so that I might be as good as my father some day." She offered a grin before dropping her arms, seeming to be in a much better mood than she had been just a few minutes ago. Talking about the forest had really perked her up.

Taylor got up, and quietly said, "Follow me." She started walking back to her home, because that is the safest spot to reveal secrets.
@Tazmodo
Reed followed her. When they got somewhere safe he said. "So I want to be a superhero too it sounds fun and I'm more then qualified to do it. So Overseer what do you say?" He asked with a smile.

"Uhhh...no," Taylor replied, as she opened the front door. She gestured for Reed to walk in, and closed the door. "Ok, now do you want to know my big secret?" Taylor asked, as she turned around. She looked straight into Reed's eyes.

Eisuke

"HEY! I SAID DON'T MOVE!!"

*BANG!*

Blood trickled across the floor and came behind where Eisuke was hiding. His face turned white as he saw a young girl, a bullet through her eye. The leader of the group laughed sinisterly, then turned to the rest of the captives.

"Now... NOBODY ELSE MOVE, OR YOU'LL 'AVE THE SAME FATE!!"

Eisuke gritted his teeth.

Thieves...

Murderers...

Guilty...

He felt his blade's energy surge through him. This was the Midnight Blade, the sacred blade of Ikir. It was passed down by the Steel Meisters, now in Eisuke's hands. It hadn't been touched in 200 years. It was still yet to be fully formed - now only being a shortsword - but it would soon taste it's first blood.

Eisuke looked over at Emma, who hadn't noticed yet. He gave a hand signal, which was obvious to anyone that it meant kill.

Reed loozed into her eyes as well. "Sure what is it." He planned on still being a superhero and if he had to he would convince her.

Shiro Majima

Shiro didn't consider himself much of a vigilante. He had, up to this point, been merely trying to survive. He took odd jobs, got in the odd fight for meager amounts of prize money, and panhandled as much as he felt he could suffer through. He was just about to treat himself to a startlingly lavish meal when a group of criminals busted through the door, held up the cashier, and shot some poor woman in the head! Even though he had been previously standing down like the rest of his fellow bystanders, this could not stand!

"TORYAAA!"

The thugs' crude grins melted away as a diving crossbody from none other than Shiro Majima brought their leader down amidst a hail of glass, wood splinters, and wayward refreshments. Acting on reflexes trained by dozens of ambushes, Shiro somersalted forward and narrowly ducked under a frenzied burst of panic fire. With far more force than was legally necessary, Shiro ended his somersault by unfolding and delivering a withering kick to the would-be robber in front of him, sending him crashing into an upturned table and knocking him out cold.

Shiro unfolded to his full height of just over six feet, and whirled around to face the dwindling thugs. There couldn't be any more than two or three of them left, and it was clear that Shiro's entrance had shaken them badly. It was then that the gravity of what Shiro had done struck him. Momentarily flabbergasted, Shiro stood still and stared dumbly at the wreckage around him. Whether he would be the first to shake off his horror or whether the thugs would hung in the air like a thick funk. Were it not for the sound of cracking wood and heavy breathing, the room would have been silent as the grave.

Tessai "We're in a pocket dimension. Just try." Tessai chuckled lightly at the mention of death. "It's virtually impossible to die unless I want you to."
Hitsugya tried to get up but couldn't. He looked over at Willow, even if it was an illusion or not. He wasn't going to get anywhere if he layed on the ground bleeding out. What was the point anyways? For him to partially learn how to control some of the power he's killed so many people with. He started trying to push himself up but coughed blood.

" Will, take 'em outside. I'll deal with this one..."

The man named Mack snapped at his colleague, who made his way outside with two captives. He brought in the energy around him and let out a roar. Dark flames wrapped around the café's interior.

Eisuke

Eisuke made his way back over to Emma, utterly dumbfounded by the man who had exploded into one of the criminals.

"Who is this? He seems like a bit of a screw-loose...." He whispered nervously, the Midnight Blade humming angrily.

"I...Uh..." Talor couldn't get the words out. She broke eye contact and shook her head. "I'm a vigilante by night. Unless you have a thing for stealth, I'd avise staying away from this type of job," she replied

(I'll be gone for the rest of 2 or 3 days so until I return I'm putting @Veyd Sahvoz in charge of cs accepts and determining if something is not allowed in the rp or such, seeya guys when I get back!)

Emma "No idea. But he seems to be in trouble now," Emma said, watching the dark fire creep across the room. She peered over the side of the seat, caught sight of the one remaining robber's position then ducked back sown. "Fire in the hole!" She yelled, lobbing one of her potions over the seat. It broke on the robber's back, covering him with a pink, stick substance and immobilizing him. She grabbed another potion from her pack, then looked at Eisuke with eyes that seemed to say, "Go!"
