Kazuhiro Tomioka "No need for sorrow right now. Just survival." Seeing the academy ahead he looked back to see a few people chasing him. "Relentless bastards..." Jumping from roof to roof he finally took a huge leap to the academy roof before jumping to the ground and sprinting toward the combat facility screaming. "Mizuki, Ellisar, people! Get out here now!"

Hitsugya heard Kaz and took his hands out of his pockets, dashing towards him "Who ever it is…Where are they?" he asked, an eyebrow raised then a serious face and he unfolded his wings a bit.

Allison looked up over her arm at the dummy she had just punched in the direction of the shouting. "Huh?" She mumbled, halting her training and walking outside. "What's wro-" She started, but was rather quickly halted by what she saw. Two people she didn't know were being chased by a group of people off in the distance. She wasn't sure if she should go help or wait until they got here, she was honestly very, very confused at what was going on.

hikaru jolted awake fully. "what? what happened?" she asked seeing that kaz was carrying her and calling to others for help. looking behind her she saw the human's hunters following them. "they found me. how?" she asked the last part mostly to herself. squirming out of kaz's hold hikaru stood in the path of her hunters. "this is my fault." she said before changing into her boosting form. she did't want to kill them or fight them. but she wanted to protect kaz. in hikaru in her boosting form, boosted the power in her legs to instantly appear behind the hunters by a single dash. then quickly boosting her magic power and routing it to her hand punched the ground send a huge seismic shock wave through the ground. the earth under the hunters turned to spikes shooting from the ground not killing but injuring the hunters. hikaru had done this purposely as she disliked death of any kind. boosting her magic power again hikaru sent her magic into the earth again causing a dome to imprison the hunters inside. being weakened from a few minutes ago this was all she could do before fainting and reverting to her normal form again.

Mizuki Gensai Finishing her sparring with the rookies she practically teleported outside and behind Kaz. "Looks like Hikaru's friends decided to show. Get her inside so my power is at 100%, things are gonna get scary." Slamming her scythe into the ground she blinked revealing her purple eyes and smiling at the oncoming company. "Don't mess with my pack you inconsiderate nobodies."

Kazuhiro Tomioka "Ellisar sir, please take her somewhere safe and don't let anyone take her, and I mean ANYONE!" Ellisar nodded knowing the situation fully and took the now unconscious Hikaru from her little show into the building without saying a word. Kazuhiro took out his chain scythes and started spinning one of them on its chain. "Well, time to go full force right? It's show time!" Kazuhiro started running forward toward the oncoming people and swung at the first, catching them off guard.

Vix woke up with a groan. His body was sore all over. He got himself ready taking as much time as possible. He grab food to go and made it out of his apartment. He didn't really feel like going to the acemdy today. Plus his body wasn't up for to much physical activity. While he was just walking around town he passed the bar from last night. He saw the reed guy there, he figured why not say hello. "Yo, your reeedright, how's it going? " he asked @Tazmodo

Hitsugya jumped in the air, spreading his wings, and flew over to the hunters. He flew as high as he could and shouted as he crashed himself into the ground, the impact creating a shockwave. He got up, his amber eyes still a calm and chill feature to them, and sent a beam of black lightning at the hunters. He used his wings to propel himself at them and repeatedly blasted them with black fire.

Allison watched them fight intently, it was clear what was going on to her now. "Well, might as well help." She mumbled, shrugging. In an instant she'd teleported beside one of the hunters and grabbed his shirt, staring directly into his eyes. The man scrambled to remove her grip from the front of his shirt but surprisingly it seemed impossible. Her eyes flickered momentarily as horrible visions pierced the mans mind. The world around him seemed to tear itself away as reality warped into a vision of hell itself, in place of Allisons normal welcoming self would be a skeleton with lava pouring out of it's mouth and bones. Satisfied as the man stared screaming and going into shock she tossed him to the ground, only to be shot in the shoulder soon after.

"
Oh holy shit they had guns whyy." She stammered quickly, holding her wound and looking around frantically for who shot her.

Melchio grinned, as he looked at the carnage at his feet. He must've fought through a small army- easily over a hundred assorted goblins of various sizes and levels of cleanliness- and yet he wasn't even remotely tired. Hell, he didn't even have to break out his polearm. It was almost funny just how pathetic the goblins were, and he was sad he had to kill them all. Not a single one moved, though they all shared one similar feature- their bodies were covered in a fine layer of permafrost, and their eyelashes and hair were a mess of snowflakes and bits of ice. The Gargoyle was nowhere to be found- he must've buggered off while Melchio was killing his army. Still, he figured this wouldn't be the last time he saw Gargine, especially since he figured he'd have to kill his boss if he wanted to get rid of this ward permanently. Speaking of...

He turned to the black gate of evil magic which pulsated like a beating heart. He bet it was tied directly to the creator's life force, and while he'd be able to carve a Melchio-sized hole in it, in order to get rid of it completely, he'd need to kill the ward's creator. Simple enough, so long as the thing that created it was still in the ruins. And, guessing by the aura of power emanating from inside the barrier, he bet his man was inside his own ward. So, with a nod, he stepped up to the barrier, and rested a palm against the mass of evil energy.

A tremendous hiss echoed from the barrier, as his holy skin met with the unholy barrier, and the darkness temporarily dissolved. Walking into it, he felt like he was trying to force his way through a wall of honey, and that if he stopped trying to move forward at any moment, he'd be flung backwards like he'd been launched from a slingshot. Thankfully, he had enough willpower to forces his way through the black wall, temporarily leaving a hole the size of, well, himself, that quickly closed in on itself, sealing him inside.

"So much for getting any backup..." He muttered, rolling his shoulder in preparation for the battle ahead. He could feel it. The mass of dark energy rolling off of him like waves on a black beach. The energy dripped from the black walls in waves of darkness, and it created creatures in the shadows that played with his mind though they weren't really there. The liquid shadows rolled around him, making it impossible to see even his hand in front of him. Instinctually, his wings lit up with a soft, neon glow, creating a small aura of light around him, at least letting him see what he was walking on. As Mykky had suspected, not a hint of foliage could be seen in the building- it was entirely brick. Not content with only being able to see in front of himself, he created a small gust of icy wind in his palm and blasted it upwards. It disappeared into the blackness for a moment, before a crack was heard, and a brick crashed to his side, nearly smashing into his head. From where that brick fell, a single, white beam of light shot down from the ceiling, illuminating the immensely large hall he was within. The hall itself must've been as large as Paragon Square, maybe even larger, and was mostly emptied- either raided by the goblins or the stuff that had been here had been shoved to the side. And, at the back of the room, before a gaping cave of darkness, sat a solitary, stone statue almost twelve feet tall- more than twice Melchio's height.

The light landed upon the statue, and a crack formed in the stone, revealing mottled, green skin. Slowly, the statue crumbled, revealing a grotesque, giant bat-like goblin.

"A Gargoyle... and an adult, at that..." Melchio muttered, the icy wind reappearing at in his palm, though now it circled it, ready to be launched at the awakening creature. It blinked a solid black eye open, with a pupil of dark, dark green that almost blended in completely with the rest of the eye. It let out a large, loud yawn that scared off the crows on top of the structure, and the bats from within it. Standing to his full height, he was easily fifteen feet tall- now thrice Melchio's height- and his body showed no sign of fat like most goblins and gargoyles had. He was all muscle, and his black and green skin rippled with the powerful, stone-like muscle that he used to crush any in his way. His powerful, sinewy wings spread out from behind him, like a magnificent, giant bat. They too were that mottled green and black colour, and were tipped with bits of pointed, black, rock-like claws that could drill into stone. He glared down at Melchio with a bat-like face, and bright, ivory fangs that were as long as his forearm.

"Human. Why've you waken me? How dare you trespass upon my city. I should kill you for your insolence! Don't you know this land belongs to us demons now? My great-grandfather blessed this place- made it a safehaven for all demons and demonic creatures alike! I, Gargard, am King of these ruins- no- this forest! Now, begone!" He growled this softly, a knowing smile on his face. He knew full well what he looked down upon wasn't human, but he figured it no more harmful than an ant. He was more wrong than he could ever imagine.

"...I see you don't know who I am if you're so confident, buddy." Melchio chuckled, twirling his fingers about, the ice between them dancing like a small band of gypsies. "First off, I'm not human. I'm a Seraph- son of a Life Angel- which means if you plan on obliterating me with your demonic magic, you're better off trying to douse a fire with wood. Second, this isn't your city, nor is it your forest. Those honorable titles belong to Mykky and her people, who your great-grandfather so mercilessly slaughtered. And third? You aren't powerful- ohh ho no, not in the slightest." He glared up at him, an icy wind chilling the Gargoyle as a small storm of ice began to circle Melchio. "You are weak. You've never conquered anything in your life! You're a dog with a broken jaw- you can bark, but you can't bite. You've been sleeping in stone ever since you got here, am I right?" He figured he was from the hating look Gargard gave him. "Figured as much. And, to top it all off, you think you're clever, having set up that little ward. Well, you must not be that clever..." He took up his ready stance, sitting on his back leg, bending it so that he could push off of it powerfully, keeping his guard up by keeping his left hand in front of him, its edge pointed at the Gargoyle like a knife, the other resting on his stomach, ready to jab the creature in the stomach. "If you tied your ward to your lifeforce. All the easier to destroy."

Not waiting for the Gargoyle to make a move on him, Melchio charged forward, small spikes growing on his shoes made of ice, as the icy wind around his fist boost him to move even faster. Leaping up, he brought a leg up to kick the Gargoyle in the head, only to find it blocked by one of the gargoyle's massive arms. He grinned, and brought up a fist to smash Melchio to bits with, but the Seraph was already gone, having launched himself backward with a gust of ice wind. Again, however, he shot forward, this time flying on the wind with his wings, and launched himself up towards his face, before kicking the monster in the chin, making his head whip back, as permafrost spread from under his chin. Roaring, he shook his head, leaping forward to smash him underfist. Thankfully, his wings shot him to the side, making it easy to dodge his lazy slam, and line himself up for a kick to the temple that rattled the gargoyle, who took a second to try and regain his bearings.

This was a terrible move on his part, as soon enough, Melchio shot forward on another gust of ice wind and kicked the gargoyle's legs out from under him, causing him to topple like a building, crashing to the floor, and shattering it. Melchio shot up, then slammed down hard on the gargoyle's neck, his ice spiked boots causing large spouts of blood to shoot out from his injured neck. Roaring in pain and anger, Gargard got to his feet in an instant, and with surprising speed, backhanded Melchio, knocking him out of the air like a fly. But, like the tenacious fly, he refused to stay down, leaping backward into a wall, he rested his palms against the bricks, pointing his makeshift kleets at Gargard's face.

"This is it, demon! I didn't even have to use my HOLY powers to defeat you! Now, DIE!" He roared, as he blasted off the wall using a mix of his wings and ice wind that shot him, like a bullet, into the gargoyle's eye, his boots punching a hole through the gargoyle's skull, and like a bullet, Melchio passed cleanly through Gargard's skull, leaving a giant hole where his eye once was. The gargoyle didn't even have enough time to curse him, before he passed on, his soul returning to hell where it belonged. His body collapsed, the majority of it clogging the black hole that it'd been sitting in front of before, though his head, legs, and arms peeked out from the hole, as if he'd been swallowed by a toilet while doing his business. With that, the black shadows retreated, and the ward dissipated. Of course, Melchio was disgusted to find he was covered in the creatures disgusting, black, stinky blood, but it'd wash off. He hoped.

"Well... mission complete, I guess. Time to report back to Mykky." He grunted, turning to leave the Aeleron Hall.

"No need to. I'm right here." Grunted the elf, who looked disdainfully upon Melchio's soaked form. "And, uh, you need a bath, bud. Like, majorly."

hikaru had passed out again. meanwhile one of the hunters that was smart enough to hide from sight. pulled a device from his pocket. the hunter smiled as he pushed the button knowing he'd soon know where the dragonkin had gone. hikaru even passed out heard the noise that only she could hear causing her to dragon roar in pain and switch constantly between forms. only this time her dragon's roar was louder than before since the device was so close to her. the hunter hearing the dragon roar smirked he'd found her. motioning to other hunters to move in and get the dragonkin.

Taylor immediately sat up in bed, and grabbed her bow and quiver. She slung her quiver over her shoulder. She peeked through her front window. She went to the front door quietly. She opened the door, let it swing open.
She notched a standard arrow into her bow, and drew it back in one quick motion. "Who are you, and what are you here for?" She aimed for a non-lethal shot in the chest just in case he made any sort of move.

Reed looked at the bow and whistled. "Calm down there hawk eye. At were you doing? Super hero?" He snapped his fingers and the bow arrow and quiver were back where they belong. "Hi I'm Reed."

As Melchio dried his hair, he thought back to the ruins and the (rather short) battle he had with Gargard. A creature like that, that stole from others even whilst dead, was truly despicable. It filled him with a sad kind of determination- the need to see that kind of evil remedied. As long as demons existed in the world- as long as monsters plagued those unable to defend themselves- people like him would have to exist to put those creatures down. He chuckled to himself as he yanked his pants up, and buckled his belt. He'd always felt this way, though, so why- in these poisonous woods, whose very air could kill- did he feel that feeling spark up in him again?

He knew why the instant he tugged his shirt on. These woods, that gargoyle's cocky attitude. They both reminded him of Falcon. He didn't feel anything when he thought of the creature which killed his surrogate father, Hunter, The Master, and instead, found it impossible to forget that look on his face when he killed him. Of course, if Melchio was alive, that had to mean his arch-nemesis wouldn't be dead either. In a sick kind of way, they really were brothers- if one dies, the other goes with him. If one is revived, the other's brought back to balance the world. There cannot be good without evil, and vice-versa. For, its only the opposite of light, darkness, which can define what light even is; the same is true of good. For, would good really be... good... without evil to contrast it? Or, would it only be normality. He sighed, finishing up his attire by tying up his shoe laces, and throwing on his jacket, his jade wings poking their way out of his clothes through custom made holes.

Just as he finished putting on his clothes, Mykky walked in with Frillz, looking extremely disappointed, and quite frustrated. "Everything alright?" He asked as she pushed past him, tossing the decapitated head of a dead goblin into a drawer, the look on her face answering his question. "Well... what's wrong?"

"Why the hell do you-" She stopped herself when Frillz rested one of his hands on her shoulder. She sighed, and figured there'd be no harm in answering Melchio. "Well... as you know I'm the only known descendant of the elves who used to live here. And those ruins are the only remnants of their civilization- my civilization. And, the only reason I wanted you to get rid of the ward was so I could explore more. And whaaat do I find out when I to go through the Aeleron Hall?" She glared back at him, as if everything was his fault. "That some idiot killed a giant freaking gargoyle and jammed his dead body down the hole to Aeleron Castle! Where all of my ancestor's knowledge would be if they'd gone! Ugh! And the worst part is? Without any plant life nearby, I can't even move the damn thing's body! Thanks a lot, Melchio, thanks."

"Well, surely you have some kind of power to move him, or at least obliterate him, right?" Melchio questioned, plopping himself down on her couch, as Frillz lit a fire for them to warm up with. "I mean, weren't you talkin' to me earlier about that earring of yours? How, like, it lets you use some kind of radioactive manipulation power?" The instant he brought this up, Mykky sighed, shaking her head, and walking over to the fire with a trio of large, black, skinned salmons. She set them up, and took a seat next to Melchio before starting again.

"Hah. I wish I could use my Radiokinesis to get rid of that thing's body, but I'm not proficient enough yet." She sighed, and took off the earring staring at it, an unreadable expression on her face as she did so. Melchio frowned, thinking back to when he first got to the city. He'd explored a little bit, getting adjusted to the city and everything. And there was a place he slept when nobody else'd take him- the Academy. He'd never had a formal schooling himself, so he couldn't know what it'd be like to go to one, but from what he'd seen, heard, and felt while there, he got the idea that while it was a prestigious academy, it was also quite welcoming and hospitable. He grinned, figuring out the remedy to Mykky's problem.

"Hey, I got an idea to help you out. I know this really sweet Academy back in Faereach City that teaches kids about your age about using their powers and about mastering new ones! I happened to notice that you really don't have any familiars of your own- before you say anything, no, Frillz doesn't count, since it/he has a mind of his own- so you can work on your plant powers along with your Radiokinesis!" He grinned, slapping her back proud of himself for having figured out her problem. She frowned not a fan of his overly-optimistic outlook about her power issue. But... if he was telling the truth... then she might as well check it out.

"Fine. I'll think about it. For now, let's eat. We can go afterwards. And, by the way, if you can't teleport us all, then you're carrying Frillz while you fly, flyboy."

By this point Dru had been drawn by all the noise and explosions that he finally decided to visit the source of all the commotion. It took Dru a few minutes but when he made it up there he walked into the group of hunters as the lightning and fire tore through the ranks. Dru flinched and then felt a tingle and after a minute he opened his eyes and realized what had happened his body had coated itself in a rock like substance that was fire resistant and caused lightning to be absorbed harmlessly off his skin. Once the show was over his skin returned to normal leaving him basically the only person standing among the hunters "well that was a first for me."

"Edgewater Academy seems to be full of promise, how do you feel about playing with them?" Kandra asked as small sparks of electricity started to travel in between the runes. @Kihara017

Hakuro Yamakage Smirking he agreed. "Yea, sounds fun. What route we going with? Straight up offense or a more deceptive approach?" Standing up he took out his katana ready for a fight if Kandra bid it.

Hitsugya took a breath to calm himself and looked at all of the bodies of the hunters Dammit. . .why must I kill? Thought Hitsugya to himself. He looked over at the newcomer "When did you get here?" he asked, putting his hands in his pockets and noticing the two gunshot wounds in his stomach "God. . . dammit" he said, coughing a bit of blood and shaking off the pain. He felt as thought something was going to happen but what? Whatever the hell it was he wasn't going to let his wounds stop him.

"Throw the figurine in the middle of them, then do as you please." Kandra said as he prepared a powerful lightning spell to fire the moment the figurine hit the ground. "Cover your eyes." He warned as more electricity traveled faster in between the runes. "Remember, anyone who spouts about virtues and the like gets smote." He reminded.
